Kosher | Prime Grill & Bar - Mediterranean restaurant

The decor is beautiful, and the waitstaff attentive and friendly. We ordered a Kebab plate and a Shawarma plate. The meat was very greasy and cold. Onion rings and French fries were great. Compared to other Mediterranean restaurants I've eaten at, the food here is bland... really no flavor at all. It's such a an interesting space and decor. Would love to see a bartender and happy hour/mezze appetizers. May be worth a visit if you're in the area.

I enjoyed a really tasty ribeye steak and a wonderful array of side dishes. All items were packaged neatly and kosher-sealed. Gobbled down the freshest and fluffiest piece of chocolate cake for dessert! I promise😄

Amazingly delicious food. We had the near platter. Nicole our waitress was the sweetest lady and made delicious drinks!! We can’t wait to be back! Highly recommend!

The charcoal shawarma is incredibly tasty and highly recommended! The service is very friendly and fast, the atmosphere is amazing, and the place is spotless. I’ll definitely be back!

I had an absolutely fantastic evening at Prime Grill and Bar! The shawarma was out of this world – tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, making it one of the best I’ve ever had. The grilled vegetables were a standout too, fresh and charred just right with that smoky essence that elevates every bite. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, with a great energy that makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner or gathering with friends. Service was brilliant from start to finish, and a huge shoutout to our server Nicole – she was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home with her warm recommendations. Manager Donna even stopped by to check in, and her genuine hospitality added that extra touch of excellence. If you’re in Houston and craving top-notch kosher Mediterranean fare, this is the spot – I’ll definitely be back soon! 5 stars all the way.

My visit at Prime Grill was nothing short of exemplary. The Lamb Kabob was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection. But the real standout was the shawarma, the best in the city hands down! Thinly sliced, tender, turkey shawarma braised with lamb fat, piled high, giving you a great bang for your buck. The service was attentive and friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere. Our server was knowledgeable and ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean food and great service.

I went here for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered shawarma, grilled vegetables and fries. Aniska was our server and she was sweet, helpful and friendly. The food tasted fresh and tasty. Portions are big too, will be coming again!

I stopped in while in Houston on a business trip and had an outstanding experience. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Mariana, the owner, was our server and she was absolutely incredible – friendly, professional, and made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the best kosher steakhouses I’ve been to. I’ll be sure to return on every future trip to Houston.

Have seen this place for some time now and thought I would try it for lunch. I see other reviews are good, so maybe I just got unlucky. Prices are on the high side, so I would have expected the quality to be on par, but unfortunately the brisket sandwich I paid $17 for with no sides was not what I expected. When I think brisket sandwich I don't expect avocado, tomato, or lettuce, and the meat super soggy, so the bread was super soggy. Also not a fan of the shredded "brisket", didn't feel like or taste like brisket to me, no bark and no smoke ring; based on the color and consistency, it could have been boiled for all I know. Staff seemed friendly and they prepared the sandwich quickly so I gave a few stars for that.

Tuesday night, party of 4 Friendly service Clean and open space Shared parking lot Fresh and flavorful food! My faves were the falafel and lamb kebab. I don't always eat a lot of veggies but enjoyed most of the salad tray. The wings were good but literally the smallest chicken wings I have ever seen. Pita was super fluffy - almost pancake-y Leftovers were delicious for lunch the next day! They have a few TVs but no Astros package. No purse hooks (yet) at the bar. Glad this place is pretty close to my house so I can get some quality non-fast food nearby!

Food if top tier. Love the options, atmosphere and service. One of my favorite go to restaurants everything here I tasted is excellent.

The smile you get when you walk in, you feel welcome the moment you open the door! Add to that the amazing service and you have the perfect start. The restaurant & restroom's are very clean!!, but most importantly- THE FOOD is out of this world!!!! We Enjoyed every bite! Definitely recommend, we will be back!!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, spotless clean, and the food was excellent. I had the Falafel Sandwich, which was better than anything I've had in the Middle East! The bar is also beautiful and their margaritas are very good!

The food was pretty good. Everyone is really friendly. Kosher and the hospitality got it from 3 to 4 stars. I got two eggs the chef scrambled with white rice and the salmon + mashed potatoes. The salmon could've had more meat on it for sure. Eggs and rice garnished perfectly, potatoes were mashed to a thick and creamy texture--very authentic. Inside is nice; with a bar and grill in the front. Clean. Our sever was pleasant and personable as well as the chef who came to check on us. Only thing I can say is with four people, all of the food could've come out at the same time. A ten minute frame between two entrees leaving one cold isn't fun. Overall satisfied though.

My wife and I enjoyed a great meal with excellent service by Jovani. We had a plethora of questions about the kosher Israeli cuisine. I ordered a malt beverage and he did an excellent pour. This is a malt beverage without alcohol, they have a full bar here but i'd had this before and loved it. Wifey enjoyed a hummus shawarma with a soft pillowy tasty pita bread. We both gave this dish 5 stars. She couldn't finish it so I got the leftovers. I enjoyed a pita lamb kabob down to the last bite. Handmade lamb kabobs grilled over charcoal with salad in a tasty pita, I was asked what spice level I wanted and got spicy. I didn't have any leftovers. When we first sat down we were brought a couple complimentary falafels, more 5 star cuisine. A young lady asked if we needed any spices for our meal, yes please, she brought some and one was spicy and the other was 5 alarm for me. Both were very good. We'll be back for more goodies.

Prime Grill is great middle eastern food, generous servings. Everything is immaculately prepared, freshly made, high quality ingredients made with love by its hospitable owners. Don't let the location situated in the Foodarama shopping center fool you- this is really good food for dining in or as takeout.

This is a great Kosher establishment, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Everything was outstanding and I heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great super friendly staff. We were greeted and sat right away. Server was very informative and gave us his suggestions. After we ordered they sent us some samples and it was all delicious! It is a Jewish kosher restaurant and the server was kindly to give me some information on what it's about. They don't work on Fridays and Saturdays. Keep that in mind! It is also against theirreligion to have beef and milk together so I thought this was a fun fact! Fried wings (sauce on side) - tiny but a super delicious and crunchy! So glad I got the sauce on the side because one of them was too sweet for me. Falafel hummus - falafel was delicious. My girl actually thought there was meat in it. Pita bread came with, It was super soft. We didn't finish it because we had just had a sample of it but I took it home and killed it the next day! Homecut fries - The fries were fried perfectly. I just wish I had requested the sauce on side because the sauce was too sweet. Baba ganoush - definitely needed more flavor, it was bland. But they give me a side of diced jalapenos early and I added it to it! Shawarma - I believe it had chicken and turkey in it. It was absolutely delicious! As a chef, I really enjoyed my experience here and I will surely be back to try the rest of the items they have!

Visited Prime Grill and Bar for the first time yesterday and it was wonderful. Service was exceptional and food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the falafel in pita and that was 2 meals for me. My husband's only complaint was that the meat on the special, while delicious, was a bit skimpy. Both of us plan to go back ASAP and will recommend Prime Grill and Bar to all our friends.

This restaurant, featuring Israeli food, is simply splendid. We were warmly greeted by the wait staff and owner and offered complimentary salads. My wife and I ordered shawarma, a kabob dish, and another salad. The food was excellent with just enough spicing, good portion sizes and very reasonably priced. The ambience was clean and casual. I would be happy if they opened another branch in my central NJ town of Highland Park. 5 Stars.

After dining at PG&B several times, I'm finally taking a moment to write a well-deserved glowing review. My go-to dish is the grilled chicken plate, which is most flavorful and unfailingly prepared to perfection. Our server, Omer, is a gem. I expect to be a regular patron!

Everything was fresh and delicious. After a long drive from Austin's this really got the spot and I can't wait to come back again!

Tonight was my first experience at prime Grill and bar, but it certainly won't be my last. The food was great. The staff were friendly and brought us many small dishes to taste from the menu once they learned it was our first visit. The serving sizes were just perfect. I was with a group of seven and everyone was thrilled with their meal. We tasted many items on the menu. The restaurant is a comfortable setting. I can't wait to go back and enjoy additional items.

Best place i have food here in Houston. its my first choice. ill always be more than happy to dine here with a good steak, the salads are amazing. as is the service, and there is lots of parking space.

This was our first time at Prime Grill and Bar. We were extremely happy with everything!! The food was DELICIOUS!! The staff was great and attended to our groups needs. We will definitely be going there again! The ambiance was wonderful, nice music playing in the background, and very clean premises. I give this Grill and Bar 5 stars!!!!

Everyone should be aware that this place charges a tip for Takeout food. That is ridiculous because we didn't sit down and get served just ordered food online and came to pick it out. I wouldn't go there again if they require a minimum tip of 20% or even a tip at all for Takeout. Buyer beware. Food is not bad.
