KOSUGIYU HARAJUKU

Dec 2, 2025 Loved this hidden sento spot so much! Open from 7am-11pm, what a hidden gem for a morning bath. At ¥550??? How they can sustain a business in the middle of Harajuku is beyond me. Compact, straightforward and minimalistic but beautiful in every corner — perfect for a quick urban bath. It only has 1 hot bath 44°C, 1 milk bath 41.5°C that I’ve never seen before, and 1 cold bath 18.5°C though it gets colder to 12-15°C in winter. Interior is very fresh, new and filled with adorable designs. I love the huge amount of amenities for girls, as even shampoo and body soap are good quality. They also have makeup removal, facial foam, hair oil, sunscreen, face lotion. So satisfying! Also there’s a skin steamer but I didn’t have time to use it. Hair dryer costs ¥20 per 3 minutes so bring changes or you’ll have to call the front to bring the change in for you. The resting area is big — twice as big as the bath area for you to comfortably sit down, read, rest, drink some milk or even some fresh beer. The only minus is there was someone sleeping on the raised tatami platform with their feet sticking out, not a very nice sight. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

It’s my first time to try pubic bathhouse-Sento in Japan. The cost is cheap n quite fun in department store LOL. The bathroom is not so big but have everything n very clean! Staffs are friendly n show you around and explain step by step. After finished,must be have milk 👍

Stumbled upon this sento while walking around in Harajuku. You pay ¥550 for entry + extra for towel rental and in you go! Very clean and comfortable

I fell in love with their Koenji branch, so I thought I'd give this location a try! It's a great getaway from busy Harajuku. The baths themselves are compact but there's plenty of space to relax, as well as a solid retail space with seasonal collaborations. The staff are friendly and approachable! Note: I believe it isn't a member of the Tokyo Sento Association, so those collecting sento cards and stamps will need to look elsewhere.

The place is very well maintained, although the size is a bit small. Staff can understand basic English which is a plus for tourists. The place outside of bath place is perfect for relaxing and spend lazy afternoon. I enjoyed it overall. Will come back next time holidaying in Tokyo.

Kosugiyu mentions being tattoo-friendly for their main branch, but I didn't notice it explicitly mentioned for the Harajuku location - it's completely fine though! A great sento. I came as a tourist and felt very welcomed. Immaculately clean, with good products provided for use as well.

It opens 7:00 am. There have 2 kinds of Onsen and a cold water one. It’s easy to be access and entrance fee is 550yen. You need to pay additional if you need to have towels.

A very clean and relaxing Onsen environment. The staff are attentive and welcoming, and the facilities are well maintained. It is a little smaller with only 3 baths, but it’s still nice. Several shower stations, and multiple additional options outside of the baths, such as resting, reading, snacking, or grabbing a drink. I really enjoyed my visit here. Nothing fancy, just a nice and simple bath house.
