Koto Sushi

Delicious, fresh, exceptional, and tasty! Loved coming here and it was a first time experience. It was so delicious I have told all my friends about it. The menu is very diverse so lots to choose from. I tried the shumai, mochi ice cream, king crab roll, and the crunchy roll! Very affordable for all the food I got! ($39). Parking is street parking but a beautiful walk.

Ordered the lobster bun, Angel and Lobster Dynamite rolls. The lobster bun was good. The two rolls were okay. The Lobster dynamite was a little lacking of lobster…filled with mostly avocado and mango. The Angel roll was better.

My boyfriend and I have eaten a LOT of sushi around Philadelphia and this was hands down the freshest and most delicious sushi and sashimi we ever had. The staff was phenomenal and welcoming and the food was brought to our table so quickly. 10/10 experience.

I've dined here several times and discovered it while walking down Jewelers Row one night. It was quiet and calm inside so I decided to go in. Sushi is one of my favorite Go To's so eating here I wanted to be WOWED and I was. The customer service was the first thing: The staff is friendly and welcoming and don't overwhelm you. I ordered the spicy salmon roll and the tea. Delicious. The atmosphere is friendly, peaceful and welcoming.

Update 11/05/24: We gave Koto another try, and it was much better the second time. The restaurant manager was kind enough to give us a free appetizer. The sushi was delicious, and wrapped with care. I really wanted this to be a five star review, but there were still things that missed the mark: not nearly enough ginger for the sushi and no chopsticks or utensils of any kind, though we specifically requested them. The salad dressing was too watery again. We’ve had it before and it was very good, so we’re not sure about the change. For a $70 meal, it missed the mark. We wish Koto well, but will not be returning. AWFUL experience. We have ordered takeout from here many times in the past, but never again. The sushi came without soy sauce, ginger, or wasabi. We were given half the amount of tobiko that we should have been given…it was nearly all rice, no fish roe. The salad dressing was watered down down so badly that it was inedible. None of our modifications were followed. This was an expensive meal, and definitely not worth the cost. There are so many places in Philly to get delicious sushi, but this is not one of them.

All the food looked and tasted delicious. I know that personally I really love Asian food and sushi so if you like that too then I highly recommend Koto Sushi because it is so delicious. The staff were very patient when we were deciding from all of the delicious choices of food and they treated us kindly. The food filled me very well but it was so good that I found myself tempted to get more. High quality ingredients are used for the food! The salad was fresh and good, the miso soup was delicious and the Udon noodles were perfectly cooked and served! I recommend this for a tone who like sushi or noodles or anyone who thinks they would like that!

Service is so nice. I asked for the lunch specials but they are only take our so the server brought me complimentary miso soup. Ordered the Spider Roll and Sweet potato roll. Everything was great. As a side note: all the plates and serving dishes were soo cute!

The best service. Server (didn't catch his name) was so nice and went out of his way to make sure my daughter (2.5) was comfortable and enjoying herself. Oh, and the food was delicious.
