"Koy’s menu of Asian fusion cuisine offers a heavy dose of Korean and Korean-inspired fare. Try the cheese steak dumplings, which are filled with pastrami, Swiss cheese, bacon, and kimchi. Order: DoorDash / Grubhub / Postmates" - Terrence Doyle

Google
Food tasted amazing, our server and chef worked amazingly with us on a seed oil allergy. The reason deducted stars is the music played had cussing in it and the bowls are very rice heavy. Not a lot of meat and veggies in the bowls. Don’t bring your children unless you want them to listen to music with cussing in it. We have a 4 yr old and the music was a big turn off.

Google
Great dining experience, went with 2 friends, had the chicken with fried rice and bulgogi, mandu dumplings and soju and beer. Nice calm atmosphere and decor, conveniently located by Quincy Market.

Susan Cole

Google
Excellent all around! Food and drinks were delicious and bar service was great. Our bartender Guillermo was personable and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend coming here!!

Atilio Lavoie

Google
The food here was decent. We had the scallion pancake which was good. The bibimbap was decent. The beef tasted like it wasn’t fresh, and it was just previously cooked and reheated. We also had the Master Cheng’s chicken and it was mediocre. The fried rice wasn’t any different than plain white rice aside from the added vegetables. The service was great, I liked the art and decor. The mood and ambiance was killed by the loud EDM music playing. It felt more like a rave than a dinner.

Google
Koy is suitable for all occasions: I've been here for hangouts, my graduation dinner, and work dinners. There is a beautiful mural on the inside, which adds to the hip vibe. The menu rotates from time to time, but my favorites will always be the cheesesteak dumplings and Master Chang's chicken. My least favorite has been the salmon, as it was very dry when I had it. I've never had any issues with the service.

Google
Unfortunately, this place did not meet our expectations at all. Noodle had no flavor, octopus was tiny and ordinary. I tried a korean soup called Soondubu, it was supposed to come with seafood but I got just one shrimp in it. If you are foodie and appreciate a truly good food - this place is definitely not what you need

Morgan Cole

Google
Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve been coming for several years and it has consistently been a staple for me. Food never disappoints and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Specifically the bartender Guillermo. He always remembers my usual orders and makes every visit a great experience. Highly recommend checking this place out especially if he’s working!

We stopped by for lunch and it was absolutely on point! Edamame, Bibimbap, Drunken Noodles! Hit the spot. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Great food and better cocktails with a chill atmosphere, our server David was attentive and helpfull.

Janice Ann O.

Yelp
Our waiter David gave great service, with a smile (: Would definitely come here again!!

Yelp
What I liked: Great location by Haymarket bars and t-stop. Great server. Seared salmon bowl had a good port of salmon. Suggestion: would be good to serve a sauce with the cheeseburger dumplings. They were tasty, but a bit dehydrated. A dipping sauce would have been good.

Steve W.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed with my Uber order from Koy last night. I liked the firecracker shrimp and the master Chang chicken. Both travelled well. The volcano roll and the cheese steak dumplings were not very good. The cheese steak dumpling filling was not very tasty. The dumplings were cold. The volcano roll was tossed around in the bag and was broken up. I know this shouldn't reflect on the restaurant but they have to package each dish properly for the dish to reflect positively on the restaurant...or don't do take out services. Probably my experience would have been better dining in, but I m just being honest with a review based upon a delivery service meal. So...don't do a delivery service meal from Koy unless you're a gambler. A better bet is to do dine in and get the right experience...and then decide if it's worth a 2nd try.

Yelp
We went as a group last night. Drinks were good - Mai Tai, Appa is old, Mango mami were all good. In terms of appetizers, the firecracker shrimp was great, bang bang cauliflower was OK. The spicy wings were sweet and tangy not spicy and the scallion pancake was awful - there was no salt and we had to douse it with hot chili oil to make it edible. The pad Thai was extremely sweet. The hot pot bibimbap was good, but nothing extraordinary. The service was good except at the end where we had to wave our hands to get the attention to be able to pay the bill. So overall it was just OK and nothing stood out

Gennie L.

Yelp
i'm honestly really disappointed with koy. i had super high expectations based on online pictures and reviews. i got the hot stone bimbimbap ($16) and it tasted very mediocre and just like any other bimbimbap i've had. the vibes at the restaurant were also not that great. it was dark and not very lively. given the location in downtown boston and that we went at peak dinner time, i expected there to be much more people, but it was just my friend and i, and two other parties. overall rating: 5/10

Em W.

Yelp
Energetic ambiance with loud music. Waitress is so friendly and patient & paid special attention to my dietary concerns but unfortunately I got food poisoning from the kimchi or bibimbap (possibly the spinach or bean sprouts). My stomach has been in pain and I unfortunately am still dizzy and lost appetite (now day three). I am unable to sleep. I hope that the staff can figure out and remedy the cause, e.g. spoiled vegetables. I am still in so much pain and am hopeful to get better soon

Thomas T.

Yelp
The staff was transparent about their staffing issues which was appreciated. The vibe of the restaurant was beautiful with tasteful wall art and a classy vibe. The KBBQ Bulgogi was very flavorful with a really nice sauce that goes well with white rice. The Japchae came out very hot and was something different I haven't had before and I will definitely order it again! The kimchi fried rice had really good flavors when mixing with the fried egg. Overall the food is good and the dishes I ate had a good amount of vegetables and isn't too pricey.

Danyel M.

Yelp
We have been coming to Koy since 2015 and it NEVER disappoints. It was Friday night so we made a Rez on open table and good thing we did cause it was packed! We sat in the bar area which is what we prefer. Our server was friendly and fast. We had bang bang cauliflower X 2 , vegetarian dumplings, vegetarian kimchi fried rice, tofu street noodles, and master Chang's chicken. For our drinks we had peach soju, Downeast on draft, and Lagunitas ale. Everything we had was amazing and we enjoyed the fun music.

Christine L.

Yelp
Visited here with 2 friends on a Saturday evening! We walked in around 5pm and they weren't too busy, but started to pick up around 6pm. We got seated right away and our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice and Lychee Sangria. The Kimchi Fried Rice was delicious -- I loved their take on it by adding mozzarella cheese! The bulgogi in the fried rice was tender and well flavored. The Kimchi Fried Rice could've easily been split between two people! It was a good price at $16 and very filling. Their Lychee Sangria was strong but really tasty. I enjoyed the taste of the lychee liquor and soju they included, making it a nice pairing to one another and very refreshing. It is a bit pricy for a cocktail ($16) but you get your money's worth in quality and flavor. Overall, the vibes were cute and trendy with really tasty food. Parking is super tough around here, so I would recommend taking the train to get here. I'd definitely come back here to try their other drinks and food!

Grier F.

Yelp
Overall rating: 3.75 stars Food: Korean fusion inspired dishes and asian inspired cocktails as well as sushi We got the cheesy corn dip, maki roll, street noodles, and pupu platter Texture: the cheesy corn dip had a milk gooey texture too it that melted in your mouth street noodles were oily and slippery Pricing: appetizers begin at $12 meanwhile entree dishes are $18, drink prices vary on size but start at around $16 Ambiance: The ambiance is gorgeous! It's dark and intimate with a lot of Asian influence for the art and decor. There's art of a dog dressed as a geisha, koi fish (of course! :) ) and cherry blossoms Seating & Parking: a ton of seating from the bar to the back, there is only a few street parking spots due to being right across from Faneuil hall but there is a parking garage near by Service: our server could have been a bit warmer with us, it was a shame because the food was ambiance was amazing Music: k pop and American pop Bathrooms: male and female bathrooms to the side behind a partition Final comments: a unique fusion Korean restaurant located right by Faneuil hall!

Gabrielle K.

Yelp
This is my second time at Koy's and it was pretty good. I had a couple hiccups on my first visit in regards to fish allergies but everything went smoothly this time. It gives very much an asian fusion vibe with quite a few Korean specific dishes and drinks. The decor was very tropical but colorful with a LED pink sign along a grass texture wall. It was giving me trendy. They always seem to have reservations available so it is very easy to get in. They probably are able to fit walk-ins as well as it wasn't busy when I went one weekday evening. My friend was running a little bit late and the server was always checking in to see if I needed anything. All the food was delicious and there were no complaints from me about anything I ate. Me and my friend ended up just sharing plates and this is the perfect place for that. My favorite dish was the korean mandu which Ii was gobbling down while chatting with my friend. The boozy thai tea was yummy and I wish I had ordered that myself. But at the same time all their drinks are really good. My friend was running a little bit late and the server was always checking in to see if I needed anything. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would go back when i'm near the area as it's a great option if you don't want burgers and bars food which is the main options in Government center. This would be great for some drinks or casual dinner or even a date. What i had Firecracker Shrimp Korean Mandu Crab Rangoons Spicy Tuna Bites Drinks Eye of the tiger Court of Rose Price $$ Food 8 Atmosphere 8 Service 8

Shirley C.

Yelp
The food was really good and flavorful. The drunken noodles are really flavorful, nicely cooked/great texture and packed with veggies + shrimp. The kimchi jiggae was great too and came with a side of kimchi + rice, but it was spicier than expected. The Unagi Roll is also really good but pricey. All the entrees were $18 which is pricey. I also got the Mango Mami cocktail which is a little less appealing compared to the other items. It came in a small cup and tasted okay, I don't taste the mango. Overall, very nice ambiance and decor, great food and would return again if I'm out with friends and craving Korean Japanese fusion.

Beronica G.

Yelp
Enjoying nice drinks in a nice cool atmosphere friend works here so we came to supper and have a few drinks w food. It won't disappoint

Rose M.

Yelp
Food was amazing and service was even better. The volcano roll was delicious. A bit loud but also a great place to take kids. Right next to Faneuil Hall. Crab Rangoons were great. I would definitely come here again.

Katie E.

Yelp
I drive by this place all the time and finally decided to stop by on a Friday evening. It was super easy to get a reservation the day before, and the place was basically empty at 7:15pm when we got there, but it started filling up pretty quickly from there. Definitely a good option for last minute dinner plans though! If you're looking for 100% authentic Korean food, this might not be the spot, it's definitely a fusion restaurant, but the menu has a little bit of everything and doesn't take itself too seriously (example A: cheesesteak dumplings). We were just looking for a laid back, satisfying meal and got exactly what we asked for. I started out with the El Pazzo cocktail, which was a really nice balance of spicy and sweet. My fiancé ordered one for his second round as well we liked it so much. Our server Adrian did a great job making recommendations, and we went with the Crab Rangoons, Volcano Roll, Bang Bang Cauliflower, and Drunken Noodles. We were happy with everything, though the portions here are pretty big so this was way too much food for two--we went home with a good amount of leftovers. The food here skews pretty spicy (particularly the Drunken Noodles from our order), which wasn't a problem for us, but if you're sensitive to spice I'd be careful about what you order and ask lots of questions about the menu. Keep in mind that this place is right near Faneuil Hall and a bunch of other tourist spots, so it definitely drives the prices up. You can get all kinds of incredible Asian cuisines for less at other restaurants around the city. However, we knew what we were in for, and I had no complaints about our meal, so it's 5 stars for me :)

Marla W.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Koy this past Sunday night. David was our server, he was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience here! We ordered the octopus appetizer, and it was phenomenal! and that was just the start, our entrees and even dessert were just as phenomena! Highly recommend this place!!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to the city!

Lukasz K.

Yelp
Everything from the vibe, to the decor, to the service, to the food was fantastic. Not too big, not too small, the space inside was welcoming and felt fresh. The staff were helpful and good spirited, and our waitress helped us with recommendations. Food was just amazing! I am in love with the bang bang califlower! Drinks were also on point, tasty and strong. Recommending this place a visit for either a dinner date, or group outing!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Not the most authentic Korean spot but as long as you're okay with that it's a good spot! Great for large groups. Service was good. Got the sampler platter to share with our group of 8. The Hot Stone Bibimbap was okay - the meat was not seasoned well. The El Pazzo cocktail is a spicy, passion fruit margarita and is insanely delicious. Came via ride share as parking in the area can be challenging.

Matt D.

Yelp
I have been going to Koy since it has opened and never had a bad meal until today, 6/15/24. I don't know if they have a new cook or just a bad day, but the Master Chang chicken had no flavor. it was like they forgot to do a full portion of sauce and just went with it. The chicken was over fried making it super greasy and zero chicken flavor. When asked how we were enjoying our meal and being told it wasn't good, there was zero concern and didn't even ask what was wrong with it. Their solution wasn't comping the food, it was buying more food if I wanted something different. We always make sure to come here when we visit Boston, but it is time to look elsewhere I guess.

Emily O.

Yelp
The food dishes were big and very shareable! We got the cheesy corn, jap chae, galbi, and the chicken. Everything was great and the service was good too. Definitely recommend and super close to Faneuil hall area.

Angel M.

Yelp
This is my first time coming to koy and it is absolutely outstanding! Definitely a hidden Gem in Boston. From the artwork and decoration to the service. izzy is so sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu inside and out. When I come back im requesting her immediately as my server. As in for the drinks and food they have a amazing variety of selections. Im absolutely obsessed with the mango mami, its so refreshing and sweet. Izzy also suggested the kimchi fried rice which was delicious!!! 10/10!!! WILL BE COMING BACK

Edward W.

Yelp
Keeping in mind this is a fusion place the food I thought was decent but nothing to come back for. We did enjoy the cheese steak dumplings, but as someone who frequents Asian restaurants, the kbbq pork belly and drunken noodles were subpar. The staff was friendly but there were two ppl who kept alternating checking in on us so the # of times was a bit much. The atmosphere is pretty fun and chill though. Overall it was okay, but probably wouldn't come back

Stella O.

Yelp
Incredible GOB smacking food. We had the Beef Mandu dumplings, spicy cauliflower, street noodles, kimchi rice and beef Bingalo. It was out of this world. The service was perfect. Just a great place to have a family dinner after a whole day Volleyball Tournament! We will be back anytime we come to Boston. And do not forget to try the coconut ice cream. It's insane !

Maria M.

Yelp
I went to Koy for the second time located on 16 North St, Boston, MA. This Korean fusion spot features a great variety of Korean-fusion fare and drinks. For drinks we got the sailor crane and the coconut mojito. The star drink was by far the sailor crane it had new amsterdam vodka, citrus, blueberry, mango yogurt, and prosecco. A true delight especially if you like cotton candy flavor 10/10 for the taste and for a little crane souvenir! The coconut mojito was a classic and had rum haven coconut rum, yuzu liquer, mint, and lime 9/10. For appetizers we got the spicy tuna bites, cheese corn dip, carnitas dumplings and spicy wings. The star appetizer was the spicy tuna bite they had ahi tuna, gochujan chili sauce on a crispy rice bite 8/10. The cheese corn dip had shredded surimi, melted cheese, corn, kewpie, and onion! This had a crazy cheese pull 6/10. The carnitas dumplings had a balsamic glaze to them so if you are into sour tastes this one is for you 6/10. The wings were covered in gochujang chili sauce, sesame and scallion! Great flavor and definitely satisfies your wing cravings 7/10. For main dishes we got the pineapple coconut shrimp and the kbbq galbi. The pineapple coconut shrimp came inside an actual pineapple and was served with white rice. The curry flavor was great and had a little cinnamon kick to it 8/10. The kbbq qalbi was a Korean style bone in marinated short rib, brown sugar and soy sauce, sauteed onion, pickled daikon and white rice. This was so juicy and worth trying 8/10. For dessert we got the coconut ice cream which had brûléed banana halves, toasted coconut ice cream, cinnamon and lime zest 8/10. Loved the candied bananas with the refreshing ice cream here! This is a great late night spot as they do karaoke, live dancers and from time to time cocktail classes! Check them out if you are looking for some korean fusion dishes to try. Food/Drinks: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Affordability: 7/10

June M.

Yelp
I went in on Halloween night, it was not crowded at all, pretty dark atmosphere , but good service. The things that make me give low rating is the food. We order 5 different dishes from the menu, mainly Korean dishes, and it tastes very bland. No flavor at all. I will just here for the vibes and not for the food at all if I had to go back in the future

Zackary P.

Selvakumar M.

Yelp
Food & drink was fine. Service was mediocre to none & were charged an automatic 20% gratuity for a family of 4. This was the 2nd visit & mostly will be our last one to this place.

Marissa E.

Yelp
Wow this place blew my mind! Surprising not busy for a Friday, though we did go for a very early 5 o'clock dinner. The cocktails were adventurous and fun and delicious. I ordered the el pazzo and my husband tried the sailor crane. I couldn't even adventure for a my second drink, it was too good, I ordered another. For food we ordered the crab rangoons, the special maki (similar to the volcano but came with high recommendations from our server), the master' chang's chicken angry style, and the kimchi fried rice. The crab rangoon was solid but not the best I have ever had. However, the other food was amazing, flavorful and adventurous. Angry style is no joke, so don't order if you don't like to bring the heat. However, it mixed well with the fried rice. My biggest delima for my next visit is whether to repeat the same delicious meals that I am already craving again or to trial something else on their incredible looking menu.

Vysh K.

Yelp
Restaurant was low-lit & had good music; waiter was attentive. My drink was delicious but I couldn't finish it since it was too sweet. The scallion pancake was really flavorful, absolutely stuffed, and worth the money. Kimchi Fried Rice wasn't great, it had some sort of metallic aftertaste.

Miranda G.

Yelp
This restaurant felt like a higher end asian fusion restaurant. The food felt fairly authentic to the various countries that are represented through the food. We got the pupu platter as an appetizer, seolleongtang as entree, and matcha donuts for dessert! The ambiance was also very nice and private, perfect for a cute date night!

Elaine M.

Yelp
Hostess and Bouncers were not too welcoming. The music was very loud- we were sat under the speaker. Took awhile to get table service. We were actually talking about leaving when our server introduced himself and apologized for the wait. If not for this server we would have walked. Food was average and high priced. But the server after initial delay was attentive and efficient.

John D.

Yelp
the wait staff is fantastic, they really know their shit. Dumplings are bomb and the sake is hot

Jorge N.

Yelp
I come to Koy at least 3 times a week in the last 3 months. The Master Changs Chicken is fantastic and the Mongolian fried rice is also really good. Guillermo the bartender is great, very friendly, and he is also very knowledgeable about wines and liquors.

Karla M.

Yelp
The drunken noodles are amazing and earn a 5! I'm a huge fan of spicy and these definitely were spicy but also not overwhelmingly spicy. The noodles were soft, and for some bits clumped together (which I personally loved) so it was a ball of yumminess. The shrimp was well cooked and took on the flavors of everything else. The veggies were a good addition and soothed the spiciness. However, for me the Japchae was a bit too watery and not as much flavor. The beef was too thin and loose where it was falling apart. The veggies were good but a bit too soggy. I liked the noodles and how they were cooked and their transparency was cool. But I would give the meal a 3.

Chad K.

Yelp
Absolutely top notch service, some of the best I've received in Boston from Adrian. Will be coming back because of it next time I visit.

Vince H.

Yelp
When you walk in, it seems like kind of a dive-y bar... but was very surprised at the quality of the food. The service was solid, nothing spectacular. They messed up our order originally, but did correct it (After telling me that my roll was a California roll when it was obviously a Philly roll). Apps: - Bang Bang Cauliflower: This was GREAT! The overall crispness and flavor was great. A little too much sauce, but good nonetheless. - Edamame was nicely cooked and liked the seasoning on it! Not spicy, but good flavor. Sushi Rolls: Shrimp Tempura, Salmon Roll, and California Roll were all good. The shrimp was crisp and salmon were fresh. The rice was actually pretty quality rice with good sushi flavoring.

Hunter V.

Yelp
Loved this place! we got the crab rangoons and bang bang cauliflower for apps which were both delicious. The lychee sangria and coconut mojito are both great choices, ended up getting two pitchers of the sangria (they come in a super cool fish pitcher). the kimchi fried rice was super good, it doesn't have a super strong kimchi flavor if that's not something you love. would definitely recommend coming here, it's not a super touristy spot but right next to quincy market

Hannah S.

Yelp
We had an excellent experience here! Everything- from the food to the kind staff was fantastic!! The ambiance is so warm and intimate- extremely inviting! Especially on the cold, windy day we visited last week (Nov 2021). It didn't take me long to settle on what I wanted - the Hot Stone Bibimbap- it was AWESOME!! Their portion is very generous and loaded with all the typical goodies! And it comes to you sizzling in a heavy stone bowl - doesn't get much more comfy and satisfying than that! The hot stone gives the rice such a nice, slight char that adds such a lovely hint of smokiness and crispness. They give tons of soft, flavorful beef and a perfectly cooked egg on top - highly recommend!! We also got the lobster Rangoon - little crispy pockets of heaven!! Full to the brim with creamy, cheesy lobster - and with a sweet sauce it was perfect! The staff were so nice to us - and they had a very lovely vibe with each other too - you can tell they really love working together and care about each other - made our visit so enjoyable! The lighting is comforting and mellow - great music playing at a good volume. Nice bar area. Clean bathrooms. And awesome art all over the place! I think one of the staff said the owner's son did a lot of the artwork - what a talent! I loved it! Not sure about the parking bc we walked and took the subway etc. But it's in a pretty central part of busy Boston and it looked like mostly street parking. Good location though! Excellent experience overall - will definitely be back next time we visit Boston!

Chris D.

Yelp
Went into Boston and decided to stop at Koy. It's a fusion restaurant with a heavy emphasis on Korean dishes. In terms of the food, it's not "Koreatown" authentic, but it was good. We had a few appetizers and entrees and everyone had a delicious meal. The high point was definitely the service- the server, Adrian, was excellent at all times, even when the restaurant was slammed later in the evening. We also ordered several of the specialty drinks- all of them were good, although the Eye of the Tiger was just a Thai Iced Tea with rum and boba- of course, that's what it said on the menu. Unfortunately, that was the one drink that didn't work. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat and something to drink away from the maddening crowds of Quincy Market.

Chiraag L.

Yelp
Food was over cooked and overly greasy Drinks were okay, but nothing extraordinary Food was over cooked and overly greasy Drinks were okay, but nothing extraordinary

Elena W.

Yelp
Horrible service. Wanted to try this place out because my sister loves Korean food and thought Koy would be a good place to try, however, we left after sitting at our table waiting for a server for about 30 minutes. No one came by to bring water or say they'd be over in a minute. Didn't even make eye contact with us or bring waters, no acknowledgement that we had been waiting, nothing. I will absolutely NEVER go to this place again or even consider giving it another chance after this awful experience.

Em B.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our first visit here. We started with pineapple sake. Sandy, the bartender was awesome. She was always attentive when we needed something, but never overbearing or rushing us, even as it got busier. We spent about 2 hours here. My friend got the shrimp and vegetable plate with rice, and we shared the coconut shrimp which was delicious. They are packed a lot of nights, it definitely has a great night life vibe and great food. I recommend you check it out!

Radhika S.

Yelp
Amazing food, drinks, and service! Ambiance was awesome too All the items were great - highly recommend the drunken noodles and the volcano roll!

Tulsa H.

Yelp
I really don't know what Koy is. It's neither Korean nor Japanese, but maybe some sort of Asian fusion of a few ethnic Asian food, plus a bar and some hangout space for sports enthusiasts. That being said, I found the food quite mediocre. I wouldn't have eaten here if it weren't for other places having a 1 hour wait. In sum, Koy is a place for you if you're hungry and forgot to make reservations elsewhere, especially on busy days.

Ellen K.

Yelp
Nice ambience for drinks and appetizers with coworkers on a Friday evening. There were plenty of open seats and tables & I would not think one would need a reservation unless you have a large party of 6+ people. The menu seems quite limited as most of the options are more appetizers or tapa-style shareables. I was quite disappointed with the portions of the dumpling appetizers, although they were fried to perfection and tasted yummy. My street noodles seemed overcooked and a little too sweet for my taste, but it made up for it with its large portion size and plenty of veggies to go along with it. I recommend ordering Master Chang's Chicken, which was really delicious. The server was super friendly and efficient. Koy is a good stop if you're looking for Asian fusion food at the heart of Boston.

Jill W.

Yelp
Good food but music was a bit loud. Customer service was alright as well. Kimchi fried rice was quite good and had a crispy bottom. Sizes were also decent.

Kimberly N.

Yelp
Koy is suitable for all occasions: I've been here for hangouts, my graduation dinner, and work dinners. There is a beautiful mural on the inside, which adds to the hip vibe. The menu rotates from time to time, but my favorites will always be the cheesesteak dumplings and Master Chang's chicken. My least favorite has been the salmon, as it was very dry when I had it. I've never had any issues with the service.

Yelp
We stopped in Koy for an early dinner as we were staying next door at the Boston Millenium. What a great decision! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for 4. Entrees we shared included - shrimp tempura roll, pad Thai, drunken noodles and the kimchi jjiggae. Everything was delicious. One of our party members is vegetarian. Our server David carefully went over which menu items could be modified to be vegetarian. The server came back several times to check on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals/drinks. Even the chef came to the table at the end of the meal to ask after our experience. We had no issues with the music nor the cleanliness of the restaurant. My only issue (small) is that the female busser came to clear our table while one of the party was still eating. It was distracting. All in all, we would definitely return. Ps the drunken noodles (angry style) was very good!

Yelp
Honestly the food here was mediocre at best. The sushi should be avoided completely because the sushi rice is mushy and they layer it with multiple sauces then charge $24 a roll. Even the sushi at the Four Seasons costs cheaper and tastes 100x better. I also thought the crab Rangoon was not great and the chicken wings were just okay. The staff also forgot our drink order though they were nice about it and they let me switch my sushi out (couldn't eat more than 1 bite) for the tofu soup. The tofu soup barely had any tofu in it and tasted like sri racha diluted in water. My friend's sushi order also had crab in it when she ordered the ahi tuna and they said that's because they were using an old menu. How can you provide an old menu? Overall staff were kind but this restaurant has an identity crisis. Neither the Korean nor Japanese dishes were any good, the fusion did not work and the music and ambience were all over the place. I will say this place had good drinks and the spicy chicken wings could pass but most of my party were underwhelmed with the food. They should also hire a sushi chef and not serve mushy over-sauced and over priced dishes that were neither Korean nor Japanese and did not capture the essence of both well enough to be a compatible fusion. A lot of improvement needed here. Giving 2 stars for kind staff and good drinks.
