"An upcoming all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurant in the Arboretum neighborhood offering the same dual-format dining: tabletop grills for a wide range of meats and vegetables and individual simmering hot pots with multiple broth choices (Thai tom yum, Sichuan spicy, vegetarian tomato, Japanese miso). Hot pot add-ins include a variety of sliced meats (pork, beef belly, lamb, chicken), Spam, crab meat, quail eggs, fish roe balls, dumplings, noodles, rice cakes, fried taro, lotus root, seaweed, mushrooms, and multiple dipping sauces. The concept launched in 2018 in Flushing, New York and has rapidly expanded across the country, including locations in Houston and a recent opening in San Antonio; an opening date for this Arboretum site has not been announced." - Nadia Chaudhury

This is my first time having Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. 3 year wanted to go somewhere where they cook in front of you, so we needed up here. Rachel was our server and she was awesome. She explained everything well and assisted me with the cooking since my hands were kinda full with my son. I liked the Bulgogi the most and the Ramen was tasty! Also the strawberry Hennessy was good. The atmosphere was cool. All in all I would return.

A very nice place. The wait time wasn’t long at all. The food was good. Drinks could’ve been better they tasted like flavored sprite. The KPOT special broth was really good. Moses who was our server was very nice. He even cut our short rib up for us and we appreciated that.

Second time here, this time Mclee was our server, very attentive! As soon as we were done with our plates not even 2 seconds he picked up all empty plates from our table, giving us more room feeling neat and organized. Great food as always! Remember put sauce on the meats while cooking after 5 years of going to korean barbecue this adds way more flavor. Also their wings here at the buffet are delicious nothing like other locations

I LOVE Kpot!! The experience is always fun! Staff are always super friendly and the male servers especially are like.... "K-Pop cool" guys. (If that makes sense.) Lol. You can't go wrong with any of their hot pot broth. You can amp any of their food up by creating your own sauce from their sauce bar. Sooo many options!! Plus the hot food items and Korean salad options just make the meal. But the star of the show is ALWAYS THE KOREAN BBQ!! Their marinated meats are fantastic!! Bulgogi me please!!! Pork belly and steak fingers are the BEST!! The veggies are alwaya super fresh with lots of options. Why the 4 stars? Seafood there is a little ify. You MUST go!!

Visited K-Pot for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was a fun experience! They offer both Hotpot and Korean BBQ, with the option to enjoy both for an additional $5. Each person gets their own hotpot, while the table comes with two shared BBQ grills - perfect for a group. The table accommodates a maximum of 8 people, which works well for small gatherings. There's a great selection of sauces, sides, and even ice cream to finish off the meal. Note: there is a 2-hour dining time limit. Overall, a great place for group celebrations and a unique dining experience!

Had an absolutely phenomenal experience at KPOT thanks to the amazing team! From the moment we walked in, Michael the host greeted us with a warm smile and got us seated quickly, even during a busy time. Our server, Jennifer A, was outstanding—super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. AJ, the manager, was also incredible; not only was he helping with server duties, but he also took the time to talk with guests and make everyone feel welcome. You could really tell he cares about the customer experience and his team. The food was delicious as always, but the service from Jennifer, AJ, and Michael made this visit truly exceptional. Highly recommend this location and can’t wait to come back

Our experience today was great Rachel, Our server, was very attentive, she literally took over and cooked all of our food on the grill and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. If we asked for something, we immediately received it. We have been here multiple times and We’ll definitely come back again and again. We love this place and Rachel is one of the best servers we have had here thus far!!

Our server, Mahlah, was very professional and personable which I value greatly. She was fun to share a quick joke but she stay ready to do her job. She checked in on us at reasonable intervals. Everything about her great. Thank you for all that you did for us Mahlah!

Yelp
We wanted something special for a friend's birthday (Nov 2025), and recently several of us had been to a KPOT restaurant in Fairfax, so we were thrilled to find one nearby in Catonsville, in the S*bux / Korean-grocery strip-mall with plenty of parking at the southwest corner of US-40 Baltimore National Pike and Rolling Road. They have a great 12-4pm lunch special on weekdays, two-hours of grill-it-yourself All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ or Hot Pot (pho-like soup) for $21, (less for kids). Arriving about 12:15pm, we were seated by the alert host with no wait. I think they could fit around 40 in booths for 4 to 6. There's a whole other area further in for maybe 50 more, with some tables for large groups. The room was lively with conversation and music. We were immediately greeted by our attentive friendly fun server, Mahlah, who explained it all to us: menu choices and pricing, the wireless ordering-tablet, techniques for grilling, and the buffet appetizers and desserts. She lit the grill that is built into our table, and took our first order so we could start in as soon as we got back from the buffet. At the buffet we filled a dish with nicely-fiery flavorful kimchee and a similar spicy mix with tofu. We got lettuce, carrot shreds, and fresh tomato chunks. Warm sesame-covered mochi-rice balls, lightly sweet and fresh with a chewy inside. Fresh hot finger-thin 2-inch spring-rolls, crispy and flakey with a little bit of veggies inside. I got small hot flakey crispy rangoon triangles filled with cream cheese with just a little crab-flavor. I ate a couple to manage that spicy kimchee and tofu :-). They had fries and breaded shrimp and chicken wings, too. We filled smaller bowls with several of their dozen or more flavorful sauces, from a KPOT signature red sweet bbq sauce, to a pretty-spicy red sauce, to a bowl of soy-sauce to which we added chives and onions and garlic and jalapeños and such. All very tasty and fresh. The lunch-menu Korean BBQ offered a wide selection of meats and seafood and veg. Mahlah was always nearby, watchful for any requests, and brought our first course in mere minutes. The "spicy" bulgogi beef was cut in medium-thick slices, maybe 1/8-in thick, and it cooked quickly while staying very juicy and very tender. The prime brisket was cut in thicker slabs, maybe 1/4-in, and it was marbled enough for good juicy flavor and tender texture even on this hot grill. We used the scissors to size it down for eating. The beef-belly was very thinly sliced, paper-thin, and it cooked up in a flash, getting a a slight crust like a well-done Italian porchetta. That took some practice to cook without almost evaporating it! The trick? The table-grill is hottest in the middle, so cook delicate foods around the edge of the grill. We had tender chunks and strips of juicy marinated garlic-chicken breast, and tender juicy good-sized garlic-shrimp, which were both very easy to grill. We tried some thick slices and long tangles of squid, and they were tasty but we didn't really figure out how to keep them tender, so we cut them up into smaller pieces with the scissors and marinated them in soy sauce which really enhanced the slight char. We grilled sliced white onion, thin zucchini circles, chunks of fresh green peppers, thin tasty white oyster mushroom discs, and thicker chunks of peppers and portobello mushrooms. On we go! We ordered twice more. An order of the thicker cuts of pork-belly, which came out like fancy not-salty bacon. Bright-red "spicy" (not very spicy) sweet juicy white-fish fillets, which cooked fast! Sweet tender "Hawaiian" bulgogi, which we spiced up with sauce from the buffet. More of those tasty garlic-shrimp. Probably a few more items that I'm not remembering right now. For dessert we got some little chocolate ice cream and fruit-flavor sherbet cups from the freezer by the buffet, and chose tiny wooden spoons just for fun, instead of the available silverware. We got fresh fruit and a slice of light cake with a light creamy layer on top. Then Mahlah overheard one of us say "birthday"! She laughingly scolded us for not telling her sooner, quickly came back with a large wonderful slice of delicious super-light cheesecake with a candle, and happily sang Happy Birthday with us! It felt like another friend had joined us! Luckily, one who remembered the cake :-) We ate for nearly two hours, until we couldnt eat any more! It was so much fun, and we chattered happily the whole time as we were adding to the grill or serving or sneaking tastes along the way :-). We thoroughly enjoyed our tasty flavorful generous meal. KPOT is a great fun place for fresh grill-it-yourself foods. There's five more KPOTs within 45min and several more within an hour. I had no idea! But this is the only location with Mahlah, our lovely friendly skillful server.

Yelp
Food was good and ordering was super easy on the tablet. The make your own dipping sauce bar was a nice touch.

Yelp
This was our first time at KPot but it won't be the last. Food was yummy! Service was helpful and decor was cute.

Yelp
I have been to KPOT a few times and it's always a great meal with amazing service. My favorite way to handle my soup option is to get the mushroom soup base and create a one or two small bowl of sauces/seasoning additions as per the soup suggestions provided then keep by soup base just for cooking. The barbecue is pretty excellent, I would rate my most recent trips selections out of 10: KPOT Short Rib 8 Beef Bulgogi 5 Spicy Pork Bulgogi 8 Shrimp 6 Finger Ribs 6 Gyoza 8 The vegetables like the nappa, enoci mushrooms and egg plant are really tasty as well and you are provided a ton of options to spice up your options and embellish your rice to eat with your barbeque. Most recently we started making salt and pepper oil like you would get at Iron Age and it really adds to the experience. They offer a wings and fried appetizers and for dessert Hershey's ice cream. The service and look of the restaurant are fancy without feeling formal, you can get use a tablet to place orders quickly without your server having to come over to the table. I was even able to sample the Tom Yum base to see if I might enjoy it so I didn't have to get a whole bowl. Overall a great place to celebrate special occasions with delicious food, you won't leave hungry!

Yelp
I went to KPot Hot Pot yesterday for the first time ever (also my first time having hot pot in general) with my two friends. We were seated immediately and I loved the decor. Dark with greenery and cute little Rilakumma plushies on the wall with cute lighting. Everything I ate was absolutely delicious. The shrimp dumplings, pork belly, and beef were my favorite. I also made my own sauce with garlic paste, sesame oil, goguchang sauce, green onions and yum yum sauce. This only added to the flavor! I also really liked the lychee lemonade I ordered and I tried a bit of my friend's mango milkshake, also really good. They were super helpful and accommodating with allergies and have an allergy list posted on the wall. Anything not on that list, they were able to call the owner and ask about. I have a soy allergy and was so happy that there were lots of options for me to eat! I didn't feel like I missed out on the experience at all.

Yelp
I came here for my daughter 13th birthday dinner since she loves KPOT. This was our first time visiting this location and most likely our last. The service was okay, the waitress was nice (she only checked up on us maybe twice) and I did had to look for her to request a new plate before our food arrived because I noticed our plate was still dirty with left over food on it. I also noticed it's a large establishment but the layout of the seatings makes it seem a bit cramped. The wait was not long which was great. The servers who brought out the food were quick. Overall it was okay, just didn't like how cramped the seatings were, dirty dishes displaying clean. I would admit the outside does look a bit sketchy but the inside was cool.

Yelp
I've been to KPot so many times I am surprised I haven't written a review. My recent visit was for lunch and had just Korean BBQ. I usually go with my family where we all order the Korean BBQ and hot pot. I really enjoy the make your own sauce bar. They also have appetizers like egg rolls, gyozas, fried shrimp, crab rangoon, chicken wings and French fries. It's all you can eat and I usually order a handful of meat, vegetables and seafood. Our server today was Jenny and she was fabulous. She made sure we were okay and changed our grill often. I have always had a great experience at KPot and the food has always been delicious.

Yelp
This was my first hot pot experience! The waitress was nice and explained how everything worked- I loved being able to make my own sauce- and having endless pickled radishes was awesome- u use the radish to wrap around the meat and it's delicious. It's really pretty inside the restaurant it's super clean and had kinda mood lighting and it's a cool vibe for a date or a casual meal or for a party. They had really good alcoholic drinks too! I don't think the Towson hot pot has a bar and that's why I go to Catonsville :) I'm Going back today for dinner and I can't wait!

Yelp
Very fun place! We went with a whole bunch of friends. Quickly learned that 2 burners would have been better for 6 people. Couple of us were at the will of others for food. Outside that, really awesome. We had a bit of everything. They have a wide selection of meats and veggies as well as a huge sauce bar where you can grab them yourself. They have grab and sit ice cream as well. Overall very fun and tasty. Best yum yum sauce ever. Highly recommend.

Yelp
In a strip mall in Catonsville, right next to the H Mart. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. They have booths and tables inside and can handle large parties (we went with a group of 12 most recently). Ordering is easy with the tablet they leave for you at the table, and the items come out very quickly. You do cook your items yourself here, but the staff are easy to track down if you need help. Do not skip the spicy beef bulgogi if you eat beef! There is an all-you-can-eat bar for bonchon and to create your own sauces, along with some appetizers. There is also a freezer with ice-cream and pie/cake and fruit dessert options for the end of the meal!

Yelp
KPot continues to exceed my expectations with each visit. I always indulge in both the hot pot and KBBQ, making for a satisfying and diverse dining experience! The tomato broth for the hot pot is my go-to; its rich and savory flavor enhances every ingredient I cook in it. The KBBQ is equally impressive, with the galbi standing out as my absolute favorite--it's tender, flavorful, and the server helps to perfectly grill every time. I love the variety of vegetables, meats, and seafood available for both the hot pot and kbbq! In addition, they have an amazing sauce bar, banchan selection with kimchi, radish, AND an appetizer bar with wings, crawfish, spring rolls, and more! The quality of the food, lively ambiance, and the attentive service make each meal better than the last, solidifying KPot as a top choice for both hot pot and KBBQ lovers! I would highly recommend KPot for lunch, dinner, or birthday meals with your friends and family!

Yelp
Tonight was our first time going here and it was great. Decided to try the hot pot option, the waiter was great at explaining the menu and how to cook the food. We could place our order using the tablet at the table which was convenient. There was an appetizer bar which was good for my 5 year old because it offered a different food option which was fries and fried chicken. He absolutely loved the chicken. The restaurant was bigger than I thought and looked nice on the inside. We will definitely be going back.

Yelp
This was my first time having Korean hot pot and I'm glad that I visited. We were seated almost immediately. Our waitress was friendly though she did disappear for long stretches of time. I suppose she was busy. Be careful: it's really easy to fill up on appetizers. The chicken skewers and Rangoon are so tasty. I had the Szechuan spicy/healthy herb broths as the base, sweet potato noodles, and the lamb and brisket with veggies to round out the dish. Everything was fresh and the portions are ample. I think it's impossible to leave hungry. I would visit again.

Yelp
Wow one of the best hot pot places I have been to thus far! It was one of the cleanest and they had very good service and amazing spicy broth! The collection of sauces was laid out better than most places! The place was pretty big and they sat me down right away :) I would definitely recommend and will come back: the veggies and chicken were also very high quality as well!

Yelp
7/12/24, First time visiting this facility. Very nice place, large area, great welcoming staff, and nice bathroom. The selection of food is excellent and the bulgogi is delicious. When I return to Baltimore--I will be eating here again

Yelp
I wish there were half stars but I would rate this place more 3.5 out of 5 and here's why... The overall ambiance was fine. The vibe is very causal and the service was pretty quick given how many tables were being occupied. The staff were also very friendly. I went with two other friends and you all do have to match the selection of either hot pot, kbbq or both. The price is not terrible $29.99 each or + $5 for both. They do also offer some sides up front like wings (which were surprisingly good), dumplings, eggrolls, and fries. As always not advised to fill up on these things but do as you will and tbh the fried food was pretty dry imo. The selection for either items was not bad but we all opted for kbbq. My favorite was the pork cheek and prime brisket. This is where the stars are lost. The galbi (short rib) was so paper thin once it cooked up, it practically disappeared. The portions were also small even for 1 serving that were left with ordering back to back which I found personally annoying. We ended up increasing our amount per order midway through. The steak was not bad but had a lot of gristle which some may not mind. The shrimp also wasn't bad but it did have an off putting taste, not sure if it's the garlic marinade or not. If I could make one suggestion, I would increase the portion by a small margin, and quality of the meat but maybe put a limit or something on the higher cuts. Overall for the price and what you get not bad but choose your meats and such wisely.

Yelp
This location is pretty much the same to other KPOTs. I typically come for the hotpot, so can't really speak on the BBQ, but I'd say the hotpot is good. They don't have many soup options compared to other hotpot restaurants. There is a nice sauce and appetizer bar, and ordering on the iPad is convenient. It's definitely worth to go during the lunch hour!

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night and based on other reviews - I am really glad we did. The first tell that this place was correct was calling ahead to seeing if we needed reservations- upon answering the call the girl said without prompting that there was no need for reservations and currently there is no wait for a table. Perfect. So we headed here - about a 20 min drive from down Baltimore. Upon entering we were quickly sat at a table. You are able to choose if you want KBB (grill) or hot pot (burner) or both as a meal - it is an AYCE - so we went with both. As per usual I sat back and let Vog start the ordering of materials and deliverables for both the pot and the BBQ. Vog was dialed in, Reese kept making gestures at me and showing me goofy photos - so I knew this was the place. We ordered our first round of stuff and drinks (PEPSI PRODUCTS LORD ALMIGHTY LET ME LIVE HERE). While the they brought out the ingredients - I went to the sauce bar which was slam-packed with sauces, oils, kimchi, dessert pastries, fried chicken and fries, and even cheat sheets for how to make different stuff. Seriously just writing about this I'm getting turned up. Returning to our booth the vegetables and meats had already been delivered and Vog was warming up getting us going. What also insanely helpful about this place is there is a tablet on the table where you can order more items and they bring it out. You don't have to wait on anyone at all to check on you. Another absolute positive was they swap out clean grills for dirty grills from cooking marinated meats. Insanely helpful, thoughtful and thorough! We had bulgogi, brisket, spicy pork belly, pork belly, spicy bulgogi, as well an array of vegetables and gyoza as well. I let big turn up on the grill while I dialed up my hot pot with some meats and gyoza - also adding a ramen noodle to my pot. The gyoza fell apart pretty quickly but still were very good. I put away 5 rices, plenty meats - and I can say this place - with both KBB and POT is the best place I have been too. $34.99 for AYCE with the sauce bar, all those options, grill swaps and quick ordering? Absolute 5-star. Wow.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants of all time! Overall the food is delicious, it feels like a fun and indulgent experience, and the staff is attentive and charismatic. Price It's all you can eat KBBQ and/or hotpot. For dinner it was $30 per person for one or $35 per person for both. Everyone at your table has decide on one or both though you can't mix and match. They didn't charge for my 2 year old who was able to eat a ton and enjoyed it thoroughly. Food There is a buffet of fried appetizers (like French fries, wings, dumplings, egg rolls, sesame black bean mochi bites), tons of sauces, some fruit, and many types of kimchi. There were also some desserts like cake and ice cream in that area that I didn't try. You can pick from many types of meat, seafood, fresh veggies, noodles, and dumplings for hot pots and KBBQ. It all comes out fast and as frequently as you would like it. I've tried the miso, Thai Tom yum, and szechuan broths. They all had great flavor. The Thai Tom yum and szechuan have a great kick. I can be picky with my meats and i found all the meats here to be delicious. Crowd/Ambiance I've always gone for a dinner on the earlier side- around 5:30 on a week day, by the time we leave it's always packed. I feel like it would be a great place for a celebration with a small group. The music is fun, the wait staff are awesome and attentive, and there are three TVs at the bar. I've always been impressed with how welcoming and charismatic our waitstaff have been there.

Yelp
KPOT took over the former Hook & Reel, which was mismanaged out of business in record time. Since most of our family likes Korean food, we decided to try KPOT's carryout tonight. We were hoping that it was going to be good, since most of the Korean restaurants in Ellicott City are pretty good. Portion-wise, you do get a pretty good amount of food in the bento boxes, but it's all subpar both in flavor and quality. You also can't select which of the "three different delicious appetizers" you get in the bento boxes. We all ended up with a couple of chicken wings (not KFC), a tiny (and mushy) spring roll, a gyoza, and some kimchi. Most of the appetizers suffered from the same two issues - they weren't crispy, and were fairly flavorless. The kimchi was OK, but not as flavorful as any of the kimchi we've had from EC. The cabbage should've also been diced up smaller. The "Prime Brisket" is just standard Korean sliced beef, without the bulgogi sauce. There wasn't much flavor on it at all, and it definitely could've used some. My wife opted for the garlic shrimp, which had no garlic, or any other discernible flavor, on it. Both the bulgogi and spicy bulgogi beef were pretty good -- not overcooked, and had a good amount of flavor. The rice in everyone's box was a bit sticky, but tender, and a good addition to the proteins. I added a couple of soups to try. Both the mushroom and healthy herb "soups" were literally just weakly-flavored broths, with no other contents. Skip these, unless you're one of those weirdos who actually likes hint water. We were all disappointed in KPOT overall, so we won't be back. We'll just continue to drive to EC for substantially better food. Or McDonald's, because, as mediocre as that is, it still tastes better than most of this stuff did.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place! For the Korea BBQ you can order more food from the tablet that's left at your table. So no waiting on your waiter or waitress to place an order. Food was really good. The waiter was great! Explained somethings since it was our first time at their establishment but not new to Korean BBQ. Looks small but it has lots of space plus back rooms.

Yelp
Great service Plenty food options Well priced Clean facilities Came here for lunch with my daughter for her birthday. She absolutely loves Korean BBQ and to have Hot Pot here too was great option to add for $5 more per person. They do offer verifiable military discounts and if you check in on Yelp for the first time the have a coupon however I don't know if the establishment will honor it since I used my military discount. Great location too with ample parking!!

Yelp
Overall a solid 3.5 stars...rounding up for good measure. A friend and I stopped here for dinner on the spur of the moment. They were quite busy but fortunately still had tables available. We were seated right away and given menus. The options were the all-you-can-eat BBQ for $30 and add hot pot for an additional $5. I decided to order the BBQ only and chose green tea as my beverage, while my friend also included hot pot with their order. Our server came over to explain the menu e.g. choosing the meats and how things are brought to the table, etc. and answer questions. He seemed either a little nervous or a bit unsure - perhaps he was new. During the meal, he was extremely attentive always checking to see if we needed anything additional, to remove plates or trash, to offer refills, to change out the grill. I primarily chose steak, shrimp, garlic shrimp, marinated pork belly, onions, jalapenos and bell pepper. I also tried the octopus against my better judgement. I won't be doing that again. Everything for the BBQ, except the marinated meats, come out fairly unseasoned. However, nothing that a little salt, pepper and the plethora of sauces can't help. I was pleased that my tea came in a small tea pot with tea leaves steeping rather than a cup of hot water with a tea bag. I enjoyed it all. I think that the quantity and quality of food for the price is great. I would dine here again.

Yelp
I enjoyed the experience of Hot pot and Korean BBQ together ... WOW.... A lot of good foods and flavors ... lunch price in 19.99 for one if both add $5.. it was my first time having hot pot but my son is a pro at this place and others so he helped us through. Our waiter was very attentive. The bathrooms clean. A very family friendly atmosphere ... I don't think they serve alcohol so you can BYOB ..... my daughter got boba. It's all you can eat so come with an appetite and those who will eat with you. They have a hot bar that has chicken wings and eggs rolls wontons fried dumplings and a make ur own dipping sauce bar as well.

Yelp
How does this have 4.5+ stars? Has no one eaten kbbq outside of this place? Being from the west coast and also Korean, this is only a Korean BBQ place on the surface. The flavors are not accurate in the slightest. The marinades, the kimchi, the ban chan. Who the heck thought it was a good idea to use induction to cook the food? It takes forever to heat up and it is only really effective in the center. Even overheard another group complaining about the "grill" asking for a way to make it hotter. I think the only thing that was decent were the chicken wings. Maybe I'm spoiled with having more authentic options from LA and Las Vegas, but dang it shouldn't be a game of telephone to figure out how to replicate the correct flavors all the way out here. The wait staff was nice at least.

Yelp
Everything that needed to go right during this impromptu visit did, and I'm so glad! Big props to Alijujuan, my server; super helpful in guiding me thru the menu and what to do. I visited for lunch alone. Usually, AYCE Korean bbq will consider your portion based on the number of people dining. They must have seen my ancestors cause I got enough to feed 3-4 people--no limit on meats and seafood, veggies items you can place per nice round. I tapped out at round one, but everything was delicious. (lunch options, you can pay dinner price if you want dinner items anytime) I was curious and added the hot pot option for $5 more (not bad) price for lunch; it came out to $25, with no wait time. The server recommended the Tom yum soup base; it was spicy but not too much. It was perfect for me. Lunch meat options were decent, the garlic shrimp was to die for (for the ancestors, lol), the veggies were fresh, and they had a condiments, banchan, and an appetizer bar with pretty good fried chicken wings. If you like your drinks with a kick, there is a bar. I can't wait to return with the fam!

Yelp
Busy AYCE BarBspot. The place is packed, and as you walk in you can feel the sticky floors, holding on to your shoes, just a bit, but a bit too much. The service is fast and our waiter was friendly and helpful. We order what we want and how much we want and start cooking our own food. There is a buffet with fried chicken (good too) and sauces, kimchi etc. It's fun eating here, and the meat keeps coming and going. You can even combine it with hot pot for $5 extra. This place is good, but it would've been better with hoods over the table to eliminate the BarBQ smell getting too much attached to your clothes.

Yelp
Went to K pot for the first time last week. When you get there you will want to get your name on the list asap. We had a 1.5 hour wait. Thankfully it didn't actually take that long. Be careful walking through the restaurant as it is VERY slippery I almost fell. Now the options are great in my opinion 29 dollars for all you can eat Korean bbq. They have so many different meat options and everything is fresh and delicious. You can also have hot pot for 5 dollars more. Hot pot is like ramen or other noodles with your choice of things added to it. The we tried so much food. Of course because it's all you can eat you should pace yourself because you can't take it home. I would suggest if it's 4 if you pick two things and start there. Also they don't serve alcohol but it is BYOB and there is a liquor store right in the shopping center. Definitely give it a try

Yelp
KPot Korean BBQ is a place where I can scratch an itch. I love KBB, and since moving to Baltimore, I haven't been able to find a place that reaches the level I am used to when Iam on the West Coast. KPOT has a good selection of beef, chicken, and shrimp, and their marinades are good. I had a variety of beef and chicken bulgogi, and I arrived during lunch, which is $19.00 (dinner is $29). I was disappointed to find out that if I wanted spare ribs at lunch, I would have to pay the dinner rate. The service was good, the restaurant is small and that explains why there is a two-hour time limit to be at the table. The meats came out fast, so if you know what you can get a lot in. As said previously the restaurant was small and I think the ventilation could be better, but I still enjoyed my meal. The servers were very helpful with any questions I had about the menu.

Yelp
Disappointed Have been going to the kpot In Rockville ever since that location opened, liked it very much. Was excited when saw a new kpot opened closer to us in Catonsville, BUT... we were very disappointed. Inside decor was nice, but foods quality was not Ok. Bbq meats quantity and quality were not good, some of the meat marinade sauce just tasted weird. Appetizers by the sauces only have 3 selections and none was good. They don't have alcohol license, but allow do BYOB with no fees .

Yelp
10.27.22 What beats an AYCE experience? Not much, although great food and excellent customer service are added bonuses! My household received a flyer that had coupons so I wanted to check them out. My husband and I came for lunch on a weekday (available 12-4pm) as it's $10 cheaper than at dinnertime. Note that not everything is included on the lunch menu such as the steaks. Also, each table must order the same option either bbq or hot pot. Alternatively, you can order both for an additional $5 per person. You can place your order with your server or on the tablet at each table. We placed our order with our server, Trinity, initially. My husband and I got the bbq since he's not a fan of hot pot in general. We started with an order of the beef bulgogi and brisket and some veggies. While waiting for our food, we got our sauces from the bar. There was so many to choose from. I stuck to my favorite yum yum sauce whereas my husband made up a mixture. I got some wings and fries. Both didn't taste fresh and were bland. The food is brought out and is cooked yourself. The bulgogi and brisket were thinly sliced so got overcooked quickly. On the other hand, the veggies such as the sweet potato took a very long time to cook. In hindsight, I think had I gotten soy sauce for the veggies I would have enjoyed them more. After our first round, I ordered the garlic chicken and the KPot pork belly, which was marinated in a sweet sauce. My husband normally sticks to the brisket at other Korean bbq restaurants, but said the pork belly was his favorite during our visit today. I also ordered a Taro Milk Tea which $7, kind of pricy, but given the size seems reasonable. It was flavorful and my husband said he liked the boba as it wasn't too chewy. When we were settling the bill, Trinity came out with two halloween buckets. One had candy and the other a piece of paper. She said that one of us could pick a paper as we had a chance to win a t-shirt or stuffed animal. If we didn't win, my husband and I could each pick a piece of chocolate candy. We didn't win anything so each got candy. Trinity was an excellent server and came around frequently to check on us. Definitely a great experience for our first time at an AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed KPot yet! I've been to this location probably 3-4 times. It's a good place for when you can't decide between KBBQ or hotpot (and have a big appetite). I've always opted to do the combo (KBBQ and hotpot). I always joke that KPot is a good place to come to with people you already know very well and don't have to do a ton of conversing bc there is a lot to focus on between cooking your hotpot and tending to grilling the meats. The sauce bar has a wide selection of sauces, banchan, fruits, and some random fried foods as appetizers. I always enjoy the kpot food, there is a good selection. It's definitely more about quantity than quality. Don't get me wrong, everything is delicious but keep in mind it is AYCE at a $35 price point. Staff is always prompt and it's nice that you can order through the iPad if your server is busy. They are also very on top of switching out the grill grates when needed. I've never had a bad experience and also happy that the Towson location is nearby as well!

Yelp
This place has fallen off and they are no longer BYOB which was an added perk and motivation for me to frequent the establishment. The service wasn't as personable and the food was lacking. The small buffet was empty and the food they did have up was old. They didn't even replace it. And it was still 2 hrs until close. The bathrooms and dining area floors were dirty and sticky. I for sure will not be back.

Yelp
Very very impressed with this place. I saw this on Yelp and immediately sent it to my husband. Who of course said we had to go that night. We got here around 5 pm (again, we were super excited). This is the first AYCE KBBQ/hot pot combo place we've been to! I don't know if this is still their soft opening, but we knew with them having just opened, there'd be some kinks. It did take a while for our server to come greet us at our table after we were seated. He was the bartender/the guy making all the drinks though, he seemed busy. It seemed strange to have so many other waiters/waitresses standing around but they had to have him specifically serve us? That being said, he was SUPER friendly and apologetic. Very helpful and just hyping us up to get whatever we wanted or even thought about. After we put in our order, we went to the sauce bar which only had some other food (chicken wings, dumplings, fruit, etc). The sauce bar had pretty much everything we needed. Cut up green onions, all hot pot dipping sauces (my husband seriously has an obsession with making the perfect hot pot dipping sauce) and kbbq dipping sauces. They had some signs up too to show how to make some sauces. My husband also tried the chicken wings and thought they were pretty good. Our food came pretty quickly. It was all brought together, both hot pot and kbbq meats, but it was easy to differentiate which were for each. We started right away. I got the miso and my husband got the mushroom broth. I really enjoyed the miso, and my husband said he'd go for the miso next time too. Everything was delicious. I really liked all the kbbq meats. And like someone else said, I think the extra $10 for dinner and the dinner items were worth it. We got some good steak and different cuts. The food was really good. I will say that it's hard to do both kbbq and hot pot at the same time. We definitely ate too much and a little too fast. But man, was it worth it. The moment we picked up our menu, another waitress came up and asked if we wanted anything else. Our waiter was busy, but still found the time to come by every once in a while if we needed anything else. He definitely deserves a raise doing everything and honestly just timing everything correctly. We did do the yelp check in offer! 10% off our order with the purchase of a drink. I got the super fruit tea, which was delicious. I can't wait to come back here. We might just do kbbq next time if it's just ourselves. But if we had more people with us, we'd do both so there be more people to eat everything with us!

Yelp
This is one of the best places I've had great service at for k bbq. Our server checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were doing well, topped off our drinks, and took our next meat orders. Meat quality is decent. It's a little better than other AYCE k bbq places I've been too. I definitely like how there's a sauce & appetizer bar you can go to for self service. I didn't get the added hot pot but the added sauces you make can definitely enhance your experience and flavors. They also had really good fried chicken for the appetizer. The only down side is that they don't have the little dishes of "banchan" offered since they have the self serve bar. I'd definitely come back though!

Yelp
I've been seeing this place on my IG, so I really wanted to check it out. We decided to check it out and celebrate a co-worker. (During our visit, we realized that MANY people have birthday celebrations here...and they do a great job with it. They have a a whole light up sign and all the wait staff come out and sing a little song.) One things I'll note is that there was a very long wait. My party of 6 waited 1.5-2 hours to get seated. The other super important thing to note is that they will not seat you unless your entire party is present. On to the food....incredible! 10/10! During dinner time, the price is $30 per person for either Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. But you can also do both for $35, which is what we did. Meats and veggies come out and you cook them (someone from your party has to be cooking & flipping). Same thing with the hot pot, except that every indiviso person cooks their stuff in their broth. They also have a buffet bar with some kimchi, fruits, wings (these were AMAZING!!), mini egg rolls, and fries. And in that same area, they have like 10-15 different dipping sauces. It's actually overwhelming how many sauce options you have. The service was fantastic! They're very attentive and are checking if you need anything every few minutes. I wish I could give a 4.5/5 because my only major critique was the wait time that they didn't warn us about.

Yelp
UPDATED REVIEW: Soo.....they changed the price of the lunch all you can eat buffet from $18.99/pp to $19.99/pp. and the dinner buffet from 28.99/pp to $29.99/pp. Let's hope this doesn't happen again for a minute as folks don't like that, especially this folk right here. Food still tasty as ever and they didn't take away any of the menu items that were here on our previous visit so I'm good!

Yelp
This location is BYOB. Our group was for 6 people the booths have plenty of room. Large menu with lots of options including the sauce bar( I love the recipe cards that help make a sauce), the hot options were okay. Our server I want to say Kevin was very fast and kept up with the demands of the table. I can't complain about anything everything tasted amazing. This place is really good for groups and has something for everyone. Just remember if one person at the table wants for example hot pot everyone at the table has to get it.

Yelp
My husband took us here since he loves the Kpot in the Rockville. The place seems small at first but it was divided into 3 parts. We were on the first part of the restaurant. In our area there were sauces, ice cream and other appetizers that you can while you wait for your meat to cook. You can choose if you want hot pot or kbbq We chose both. It's nice to be able to choose both. Paul, our server was very accommodating. Always checking on us to make sure we have everything that we needed. He was very pleasant. Everything was great. We didn't feel too rushed unlike the other Ayce restaurants. I would definitely come back here.

Yelp
I heard the one located in Rockville was good so I had to try the one in Ellicott City! It is GOOD here All you can eat hot pot AND korean bbq was well worth it they were very attentive but a few items didn't come out either they forgot or it was all out not sure the reasoning but I was too full to eat any more the floors were kind of slippery and seating was a bit cramped but overall, a great experience!

Yelp
I want to start with the pros. Our waiter was amazing. I hate that I did not catch his name, but you could tell that he was working hard and he definitely earned the generous tip we left. Our waiter was very happy to give us tips and explain things away to us, even though I would consider us hot pot gurus. I also do like how they bring you out your vegetables and different things for your hot pot and you don't have to necessarily get up and get it. I do like this feature and another hot pot that we had been to, but this one didn't bother me all that much. I think for me this place a lower rating was the ambience. It was very dark and small feeling. I'm pretty used to hot being larger and to me. It seemed a little dirty, not terribly dirty, but just not as clean as I would like or as I'm used to seeing hot pot/Korean barbecue places being, the service the food was OK. I definitely probably should've gotten a different hot pot soup sauce. the food did look pretty fresh so that was a another pro this place is definitely 3 1/2 stars but unfortunately for me I will not be back

Yelp
The short - dinner was $35/person (includes kpot AND kbbq, vs $30/pp for just kbbq. Everyone at the table has to opt into the same thing) and from there you sign up to be pummeled with a bunch of Korean food for ~1 hour. How it works - you have a menu that has two sides - one for kpot and the other is kbbq. For kpot, you select your soup base and then you can pick whatever items you'd like to put in it (veggies, noodles, meats, etc). For kbbq, you select whatever meats, veggies, starches you'd like to throw on the grill. You can order these items with your server (who in my experience has always been speedy and nice) or they also give you a nifty tablet for the table that allows you to bombard the kitchen with more orders. How's the food - If it's important to you - it's a BYOB spot and they do have a selection of menu items to choose from if you wanted a special drink (things like bubble tea). The food quality for an all-you-can-eat spot is pretty good. Is it the best quality Korean bbq out there? No - but you also shouldn't expect that at a spot like this. They give you generous portions and it was all pretty good! Options range from beef belly, short rib, steak, marinated options, etc etc. I will say the flavor profiles have been a bit Americanized (sweeter marinades + saltier than traditional Korean dishes), but it didn't bother me. They also have a side buffet bar where you can make your own sauces and get a selection of side menu items - french fries, kimchi, pickled veggies, and a random cheesecake (does it feel like an Asian buffet if there isn't a random American item thrown in the mix at the bar? I say no). How's the vibe - One thing I noticed that Kpot does well is that they have a lot of staff and they all seem to be attentive. What this means as a customer is that when you send in your order, you actually get the food delivered at a speedy time. Often at AYCE spots, that's a problem I noticed, but one that doesn't exist here. Everyone seemed friendly and hard-working and the spot in general is clean/modern (albeit, also new). Really enjoy the spot and hope they can continue providing a great experience for others!

Yelp
Good quality meat for an amazing value! Dinner for both hot pot and bbq is $35 and you get a huge selection of choices. They also have an amazing sauce bar and have crispy fresh fried chicken wings also included. One of my favorites are the red bean fried sesame balls. They also have tons of kimchi and pickled sides as well as some cold bar crab legs. Megan was our server and she was extremely attentive without being overbearing g. She Offered to change our grill out many times throughout the meal and noticed when it was the best time to change - which is hard to find at kbbq places! She also noticed when to offer hot pot broth refills. Definitely the best AYCE kbbq and or hot pot place in the Baltimore area. Would highly recommend and will be a repeat customer!

Yelp
Cool restaurant. You can bring the family or have fun with friends. The food portions are large and there's something for everyone! The service is great as well.

Yelp
Service was really fast. There was no wait for 2 ppl around 6pm on a Saturday. When ordering more food, it arrived very quickly as well by someone pushing a cart with a few different table orders. Ambiance is pretty typical of a kBBQ/hot pot place. Music playing. We were seated near the bar so there were also a few TV's. Food was good. We did KBBQ ayce. There are not a ton of options but it covers the basics including pork check, beef tongue, and some seafood. I wish they had steamed egg or rice paper. They have an open sauce bar that also has some fried foods under heat lamps. The sauce bar could have benefited from a quick wipe/clean up. Overall good experience. Server was very attentive. They helped keep an eye on the temp of the grill and refilled waters regularly. This place is BYOB (you can bring wine/beer/soju - no hard alcohol). We will ha w to remember for next time!

Yelp
I had a pleasant time! The bbq part was nice but the chicken burned so quickly. We had to have the grill plate changed 3 times. The oil bottle was slippery because it leaked when sprayed, but not too annoying when using wet wipes. The mushroom broth was quite delicious. I got my usual items for hot pot. I LOVED the sauce bar and Korean fried chx wings (freaking delicious)!!!! This place was bustling when we came. I was in the main room so had no idea how massive it was until I went to use the restroom. We had two servers due to shift change, and they were both excellent. We want to come back in August when my niece attends her last year of college.

Yelp
KPOT is located in a plaza with a bunch of other good food places. We came here on a Thursday night and had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. They texted us when our table was ready, so we were able to go to Hmart next door while waiting. I've been to other KPOT places before (in LA) and I'd say they're all pretty much the same with each other, or with any other chain KBBQ places. What makes this one special, however, is how attentive the service is. Even though each table had its own iPad to order dishes from, the servers still kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Their buffet/self-serve food is limited but the sauce selection is MASSIVE. For the service, the food selection, and the reasonable price, this definitely hits the spot for kbbq/hotpot cravings.

Yelp
Wow! This place is amazing! Combination of Hot Pot and K-BBQ, AYCE for 2 hours at a very reasonable price. The food is pretty good and they give you an iPad so that you can order on your own, at your pace.
