Korean Barbecue and Hot Pot Restaurant Chain K Pot Opens in Austin | Eater Austin

"An upcoming all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurant in the Arboretum neighborhood offering the same dual-format dining: tabletop grills for a wide range of meats and vegetables and individual simmering hot pots with multiple broth choices (Thai tom yum, Sichuan spicy, vegetarian tomato, Japanese miso). Hot pot add-ins include a variety of sliced meats (pork, beef belly, lamb, chicken), Spam, crab meat, quail eggs, fish roe balls, dumplings, noodles, rice cakes, fried taro, lotus root, seaweed, mushrooms, and multiple dipping sauces. The concept launched in 2018 in Flushing, New York and has rapidly expanded across the country, including locations in Houston and a recent opening in San Antonio; an opening date for this Arboretum site has not been announced." - Nadia Chaudhury

Visited K-Pot for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was a fun experience! They offer both Hotpot and Korean BBQ, with the option to enjoy both for an additional $5. Each person gets their own hotpot, while the table comes with two shared BBQ grills - perfect for a group. The table accommodates a maximum of 8 people, which works well for small gatherings. There's a great selection of sauces, sides, and even ice cream to finish off the meal. Note: there is a 2-hour dining time limit. Overall, a great place for group celebrations and a unique dining experience!

Had an absolutely phenomenal experience at KPOT thanks to the amazing team! From the moment we walked in, Michael the host greeted us with a warm smile and got us seated quickly, even during a busy time. Our server, Jennifer A, was outstanding—super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. AJ, the manager, was also incredible; not only was he helping with server duties, but he also took the time to talk with guests and make everyone feel welcome. You could really tell he cares about the customer experience and his team. The food was delicious as always, but the service from Jennifer, AJ, and Michael made this visit truly exceptional. Highly recommend this location and can’t wait to come back

Often ate here with family and friends. We usually get the Hot Pot + BBQ combo so it gets more pricey per person but you can get either. Amazing all you can eat options and great meat and seafood choices. Has a very good sauce bar and appetizer/hot bar for while you wait. Also some dessert for after. You can talk with your server to place your order, or you can choose the tablet option and put in your order while someone will bring the ingredients for you to cook. I prefer the latter so I have more time to decide and just to keep the tablet close by so if I wanted more stuff on my own time. Great for social events/gathering! Wait time wasn't long. The only disappointing thing is how small the place is. The booths are pretty close to each other, and it does feel a little tight space overall. It can get pretty loud and hot in there. So this is the only Kpot place in MD we will go to. I would not recommend the Towson one for hygiene and food safety reasons. Catonsville, yes would recommend! Also it's right next to the Hmart which is an amazing place to get groceries so very convenient if you have a full belly and go shop!

My daughter ordered food here yesterday and she loved the service and the atmosphere, everyone was friendly and welcoming, the food was to die for and we plan on coming back this weekend and next weekend and the weekend after that. We will always support restaurants like this that welcomes everyone and treats everyone with kindness and love regardless of what they look like. I made sure to tell my family, friends and colleagues to go to this location and support and leave a review so more people from all walks of life can come and eat amazing food and be treated with love. Keep up the amazing work you all are doing here at Korean hot pot. See you again soon.

This was our first time at a Korean BBQ spot, it did not disappoint .... The food was absolutely delicious, quality proteins, flavorful marinates and sauces. Hands down the most value in a restaurant we have had in a long time. But, I can't post this review without mentioning Isaac, he was great. He took the time to explain the process, helped us with the grill. They were busy, but he still took the time to talk and laugh with us. He was a big part of the experience and will ask for him specifically next time.
