KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

I've gone here 5 times and generally the service is decent. Attentive servers, ordering is quick, and most things you can do by yourself. There is a sauce bar with a variety of options and recommendations which you can do it yourself. Depending on the day the wait time can range from an hour, but generally you are seen right away to 30 minutes. It seems like servers are taught to cook for the guests at times, as this has happened at a few visits. Unfortunately, this last visit was not as pleasant as the others. To start off, the floor was extremely slippery. There was a warning sign at the front, but it felt as if the entire floor was just caked in oil. My server at one point had his finger in the raw food when bringing out an order. I ended up finding a large fly in my soup. I ended up notifying the server who then notified the manager. I was informed that he would talk to the kitchen and find out what happened. Only 15% was taken off the bill after the fact. Lastly it looks like the free drink fridge was removed and replaced with other drinks that cost additional money. Overall, the food comes out quickly and servers are very attentive. Though given the issues with this visit I was not happy with the way things were handled.

We were so confused. First timers. Definitely worth the price and worth the entertainment. Staff was super friendly and food was very delicious we will definitely try it again! Great place for the whole family!

Our server name Kath and she was a darling. This is a fine dining Korean restaurant. I have been to a lot of korean restaurant but this one did not disappoint me at all. We went there for my daughter's birthday. The manager was also friendly and offered an ice cream. Good job Kpot!. Recommend. I give it a 5 stars.

A friend that lives in DC has been wanting to try Korean BBQ and a hot pot place for awhile now. When she reached out this morning, we decided to give this place a try based on reviews. First thing to note, there's no parking right outside of the restaurant, you have to do street parking a block or so up the road or park in the garage. I arrived first around 2:30p and went in, no-one was there to greet me so I waited. When Michael walked up, I greeted him. I never heard him greet me back. I stated that I needed a table for 2. He grabbed a menu and a drink menu and mumbled for me to follow him. He advised me that a waiter would be with me shortly. Aestically, this place is nice for the most part. They made a poor choice in material foe their seats so they're very worn out after just a year. Despite not being busy, it took about 10 mins for Michael to come back and ask could he get me water as I was still waiting for a server. Our server Joyce came and was very pleasant and thorough in explaining the menu and offerings. The lunch price of $20.99 is for the Korean BBQ OR the hot pot, it's $5 extra per person to have both which wasn't an issue for us, just something for others to note. It does state it on the menu. We were even offered to upgrade to the dinner menu to have more option available but we declined. To the food: The bar was underwhelming. Mostly fried appetizers and a variety of sauces. You order drinks and broth for the hot pot with the server, everything else is ordered on the iPad at your table. The kitchen brought the items out quickly! I have been to several KBBQ places and this was the most mid food ever! None of the meat was flavorful and for reference we had chicken, beef, pork and shrimp. I've never been to a hot pot restaurant so I do not have any comps but based on expectations, it was okay. I wanted more flavor there as well. This was the first place that I've been where multiple types of meat were cooked on the same grill, at the same time and the staff let the plates (that the raw meat was on) pile up on the side of our table. Overall, it wasn't necessarily a bad experience, just not what we were expecting!

Aili is our favorite server. She plays a big part of our joyful to the meal. Nothing better than you get a great food with the great atmosphere plus a great server is a bonus!!!

This review was actually way overdue. My family and I is always having a great experience at this restaurant by name Kpot, our server was Aili and let me tell you she was very wonderful and very friendly I was there for my birthday 🎉 on 29th of March and let me tell ya I will have that special moment in my mind and I really recommend them they are located in Fairfax. As soon as you enter they greet you, variety of food, soup 🍜 sauces and drinks 🍹 and the place is always clean and family oriented which is 💯 feeling. Our server had greatest vibes and she nonstop kept on helping us. I love 💕 this restaurant. Great service and wonderful atmosphere!!!!!

KPOT is always really good. My husband likes the meats and they have a good selection for those who are vegetarian (like myself). What made them a 20 out of 10 for our last visit was our server Steven. His energy from the moment he welcomed us set the tone for our date. We had a great experience because he was personable, apologized for things that weren’t his fault, patient, and above all us, just kind! If you’re going to KPOT ask for Steven, you won’t regret it!

This was my first time trying Kpot's Fairfax location for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hotpot, having visited the Falls Church location multiple times. Upon being seated, we were promptly given a menu and a tablet for direct ordering from the kitchen. While the portions for each dish are on the smaller side, the great advantage is that we could order as many times as we wanted. They offer exotic meats that are hard to find at similar BBQ restaurants, such as pig brain and pork blood. One of the standout features of Kpot is that each person at the table gets their hotpot, which enhances the dining experience. Additionally, there’s a fantastic sauce bar and various other food items, including fruits, bite-sized desserts, and some food selections like kimchi, bean sprouts, chicken wings, nuggets, sesame balls, and others. I confidently assert that this is one of the best Korean all-you-can-eat BBQ and hotpot restaurants in the area, combining quality and value seamlessly.
