When I first moved to Syracuse, I found myself missing the vibrant Korean BBQ scene I had enjoyed in Northern Virginia. So, when KPot opened, I knew I had to give it a try, hoping it would live up to the high standards I was used to.
Now, KPot has become my go-to spot for Korean BBQ! One of the standout features is their sauce station, where you can mix and match flavors to create the perfect dipping sauce for your meat or a delicious drizzle for your rice. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference in personalizing your meal. I also really enjoy when they have music playing at a loud - but not too loud - level because it adds to the atmosphere.
If you’ve never been to a Korean BBQ restaurant with a built-in grill at each table, don’t worry—the staff is happy to guide you through the experience. Plus, each table has a helpful cooking guide that lists the recommended cook times for different meats. My personal favorites? The bulgogi and garlic pork belly—both packed with incredible flavor.
While I’m not the biggest hot pot fan, KPot offers it as an add-on for just $5 per person. If you’re up for it, I’d recommend trying both the lunch and dinner menus; dinner includes a premium selection of meats while still featuring all the staples available at lunch.
For those dining with kids or picky eaters, there’s a small selection of fried foods like French fries and chicken nuggets, making it a great spot for families.
At one point, we found ourselves coming here weekly for lunch—it’s hard to resist at just $21.99 for all-you-can-eat! We usually visit right when they open during the week, and the restaurant is always spotless. If you’re looking for the freshest buffet experience in Syracuse, KPot is the place to be.
