Krab Kingz

So start off by saying my mother had suggested this place. It had been a while since I've had a seafood boil as my last experience did not go very well. I arrived with my grandfather and my mother. There are a couple of options, but mostly everything is a combination of shrimp, sausage or crab. Everything comes with potatoes and you can get an egg or substitute it for additional corn. We went with the $55 plate that included three crabs, two eggs, two corns and 16 shrimp. We substituted one egg for an extra corn. You can choose a couple of flavors. We went with lemon pepper and Cajun which had those butters on the side. Everything else is drenched in the traditional butter. When our food arrived it looked beautiful and as I was taking pictures I didn't notice that we were missing our shrimp. Not a big deal. I did inform the staff who apologized and went and retrieved our portion and then added an additional 25% of shrimp to the order I guess for the inconvenience. This location does provide gloves and I'm assuming bibs of you looking for that type of shirt protection. Though don't quote me on that as I didn't ask but the gloves are for sure. If you have your own crab claw tools I would bring them because the ones on site are plastic claw breakers and they're very much a learning curve. Found myself biting the claws to release the meat. All the sides were great. The corn had good crunch to it while sucking up the buttered flavorness. The potatoes definitely come abundant and that's nice as I was able to take some home. The egg definitely could have been soaked longer. Maybe the eggs if they were pre-cooked and then sat in an butter sauce like the shrimp to absorb more as I didn't feel they got a lot of coverage inside. The shrimp was really good and definitely liked the deveining and cleaning of the shrimp. Very nicely cooked. Not overly done and had it a Good release of the tail when pulled. The desserts were definitely favorite part of the evening as the banana pudding is so creamy that I would almost not even call it pudding but a filling like you would for a pie. With real chunks of bananas tucked away and the vanilla wafers on top, it was a delight to enjoy this dessert. There is other flavors as well. Like a strawberry putting as well as the Apple cobbler. As pictured Clean up was nice as the staff did table buss for us as we ate without the expectation of an additional tip. There is a military discount but wheelchair access is on the opposite side of the building for ADA customers so expect to park the farthest away to the door. Definitely think this place is worth eating at and I can only imagine the atmosphere once there is people enjoying the bar. I'm told Thursdays and Fridays are lines out the door.

The food was really good. The platters are enough to share. I marked them down for their DJ who had the music turned up TOO LOUD. We couldn't even carry on a conversation at our table which was one of the farthest away. Seriously, turn it down some. We'll still be able to hear it and talk to each other.

Finally tried this place out after driving by it for years. No reason for not stopping in other than I'm not a huge crab fan, dispite loving seafood. I've always heard it was excellent, and the hype was real. I got a combo which had a few crabs, some shrimp and potatoes. Like I said I'm not a crab connoisseur, but it was really great. The potatoes were amazing and The shrimp was some of the best I've had in my 25 years in Austin. You can pick from a variety of seasonings and I'm looking to try them all. My kid, who talked me into going, said it's his new favorite restaurant. Definitely a hidden jem so go support this locally owned restaurant, we don't have enough of them!

Lively environment - DJ did a fabulous job, a Good Sunday Funday for me & friends. Drinks were strong & flavorful- food Fish, Shrimp & fry platter was worth the price- fried well and golden! Wish they had a homemade tartar sauce is the wish. I enjoyed the food and will be back

Every time I come to Pflugerville I come by to eat here, Great Atmosphere, Service is always welcoming, and the food is AMAZING! Great food and prices you will want to stop by. The only wish is that they were open 7 days a week!

My mother in law loves to eat crab so I took her this restaurant. Atmosphere was so so.. however The meal was awesome! She satisfied, I satisfied^^ Little bit spicy to children but very yummy! Definitely I will visit again.

Food was pretty solid. The staff is still getting it figured out with a new building. But you can tell the managers are trying. They did have a DJ plan old 90s favorites. The weight is long, but again the food is pretty decent

Came on a Sunday and waited over an hour for my food. Didn't seem busy enough to justify the wait. ** changed my previous rating from 1 star to 5. Food was delicious and worth the wait

Quite the hidden gem! I had no idea what to expect, but this place surprised me and my husband with how delicious the food was. A great casual spot for a simple meal. I ordered the shrimp lunch platter with honey garlic and my husband got the shrimp and crab lunch platter with Cajun seasoning. First off, the platter was wonderfully coated in the seasoning which hit all the right notes. Both platters came with potatoes, corn, a sausage, and a hard boiled egg. The potatoes were soft and plentiful. The corn was sweet and juicy, a nice respite from all the fatty lines and heavy starch. The sausage had great flavor. And of course, the seafood was undeniably delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out. It's in a unassuming plaza with plenty of parking.

Food was amazing!!! Prepare to get dirty. Don't be afraid to ask for something to help crack shells. Ambiance was sparse and kinda barren. Visited during lunch time on a Saturday. That's okay though because I didn't come for the crowd. I came for the food and I'm glad I did! I was just about not to and go elsewhere. Will be coming back again when I'm in the area and have some good time to sit down and go to town on these lunch platters. Service was good too. Definitely has the locally owned vibe which is great.

Long overdue review for Krab Kingz. Pretty decent spot for boiled seafood plates. They have other items on their menu but I've only tried these thus far. Normally I order the crab cluster, shrimp and sausage boil. I've tried a few flavors however their house/original seasoning is my favorite. It's always on point, super flavorful and I always get extra sauce just in case...lol Shrimp is always cooked to perfection, crab can be amazing or sometimes overcooked. I normally get take-out or delivery so I haven't spoken with anyone personally onsite regarding the over cooked crab. However out of about 5 visits I only had this issue twice. If you love potatoes they are super generous with them, unlike some places which will nickel and dime you for extra potatoes. You will not have this problem at KK. One of the better shrimp/crab boil spots in town.

The food was great! Great service. The location is not large, but no issues seating on a Saturday afternoon. The spicy sauce was good but not hot. The prices were reasonable. Full bar if you fee like having a drink.

The seafood is always fresh and great. I love the crab platter with crab legs, sausage, eggs, and corn. The cashier, Jayden, was knowledgeable about the sauces and provided great customer service. The place is always relaxed with a cool vibe and good music.

Came here on a Friday night and been back multiple times since. This place is a dive but food is great and the DJ helps provide a cool vibe.

I am impressed by this little corner of the universe. The food is actually very good and we saw that by how crowded this restaurant become shortly after the church crowd came in during lunch. Appreciating the service that they handed out extra crab to us because they didn't want to toss it out. Felt like a family owned restaurant. I liked the ambiance as well. TVs, a bar, diner setting, etc. I would definitely come back and bring friends. Enjoyed our experience!

I got the seaside platter! It came with 3 crab clusters, shrimps, eggs, potatoes, and corns. You're able to mix flavors, so I asked for lemon pepper and Cajun mix. The flavor was good. The potatoes were so delicious in the butter sauce, and the carb were so soft and just right. The corns and eggs were okay but not my favorite part. They don't supply a bib or scissor, so bring your own.

King Krabz is THEE spot for Delicious Food, Attentive Friendly Customer Service, camaraderie, family oriented, everybody, including management, staff & customers have warm friendly relationships, making ALL welcome. You definitely MUST make Krab Kingz a regular destination! My first time & I was truly sold! Definitely will come again!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I will recommend this to just about anyone and everyone looking for some crab. Not only are the not that expensive the customer service was 10/10! The workers we absolutely awesome!! The food was so flavorful and a hefty portion!

The food was amazing. I got the Krab and shrimp plate plus an extra Krab cluster with the Cajun butter. The food was 100/10 delicious my only complaint is that the Krab and shrimp plate is supposed to come with 10 shrimps and I only got 5.

My husband said he was mad he didn't know about this place earlier. The prices are fair, the service is good and the serving sizes are plentiful. The only complaint I have about this place is that it's not closer to my home! It was our 1st visit and we were not sure what to expect. They offer counter service and have many tables for dine it. We noticed they do a lot of to go orders. The lady at the front that took our order was very friendly and helped me navigate through the menu options. I knew that we wanted crab but it couldn't be too spicy. Luckily they offer many seasoning options so you can get what you prefer. Original Cajun Honey Garlic Lemon Pepper Garlic jalapeño Garlic Parmesan We went with the honey garlic and found it to be a delicious. The crab, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn and the egg were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We cracked this crab legs and were happy to find that the meat was easy to get out of the shells. We made sure to pick those legs clean before moving on to the next. Now let me tell you I am picky about shrimp. Most of the time when I have shrimp I can tell you immediately if they are from the Gulf. I didn't pick up on any Gulf shrimp taste. These shrimp are a nice size and well dressed with a very clean flavor. I greatly appreciated that. I kinda like how they serve the food in the to go containers it allows you to eat what you can and easily take what's left to go. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu options.

The food was delicious. Generous portions. Friendly, attentive staff. Wonderful atmosphere that allowed us to talk, hear each other and have nice music as well. It was a great experience. We will definitely be returning again and again!!!

This is the best crab place I've been in a long time. Today my wife had crab cravings, and so we looked for a place. Somehow the overpriced TLC keeps popping up, but in my opinion, this place is for white liberals with too much money living in South Austin (you know, the ones who think they are so progressive, but at the same time displace brown and black communities with their outrageous gentrification and appropriation of these neighborhoods, but I digress...) Then Krab Kings pops up, first their food truck, then the brick and mortar place in Pflugerville. A little far, but why not. Well, far it is. This place is in the boonies, really East, really far. Thanks to corona traffic, we still made it in good times. I get inside and notice it's an order at the counter kind of place. Oh god, what kind of place did we pick!! Clearly, it's black owned, so my first thought is "is it going to be too spicy for me". I'm a French guy, and our idea of spicy is black pepper and our sauces are mild, creamy or wine based. No Creole or Cajun spice for me! A little garlic maybe, thyme and parsley, merci beaucoup ! Even the wife (not French, likes spicy) is a little worried. So, she orders the honey garlic snow crab platter. Around $40 if I remember correctly. A few minutes later, a gigantic aluminum container arrives at our table, with 3 huge clusters of snow crab, a very generous portion of big shrimps, sausage, lots of potatoes, corn and I probably forget what else.... First bite, I'm convinced. The crab is perfectly cooked, moist, the legs break nicely and the meat comes out easily. The butter sauce is to die for. I eat and eat and eat... 3 clusters later, it's so good I order 2 more, for another $20 or so. So yes, not cheap, but crab ain't going to be cheap anywhere. Still beats the overpriced white people places (and yes, I'm mostly white, in case that needs to be clarified). By the way, it's not just the crab that's good. Everything is delicious. My wife is very picky about gulf shrimp and these passed her taste buds inspection! The owner came to check on us a couple times. service is super nice even during a busy evening. Is this an Instagram-ready, super cute place? No... Do you get great yummy food? You betcha! Some customers are clearly pros, they come with their own gloves to eat this bounty! We will be back to try the lobster too.

Wow. I wish I had listened to the reviews. My first impression of the the place when I walked through the door was that it really seemed like the owners of the place made the restaurant just for themselves and their friends. We ordered at the front and went to sit down. It's a "find somewhere to sit after you order and we'll try to find you" type of place so be prepared. The food was completely over priced, not good enough for the price in the slightest. We got 10 shrimp and what felt like 6 pounds of potatoes (an overcompensation for the lack of other food/meat) it cost us almost $25 for just that. My friends got the "Seafood Platter" which consisted of 1 rack of crab, 1 sausage and a few shrimp... $55!!!!! Before tax!! Oh and they didn't give us a cracker. So my friends had to break their crab with their hands (Which obvi hurts if you've ever tried it) Every single piece of food, and the entire tray was DRENCHED in butter/oil. All of our hands were greasy, even mine, and I didn't even eat! My friends went to order drinks from the bar, and they didn't get their drinks until after the food had been at the table for quite some time. Also there was no one else at the bar, so they took over 20 mins to get literally 2 drinks. The atmosphere of the restaurant was completely overstimulating, being autistic, it's extremely important for me to have an environment thats not so... much? It was super hot, they had like 5 ceiling fans all running at once (causing MORE flashing lighting) but they just seemed to be pushing the heat around the room. We had to leave pretty quickly because the unreal amount of heat made me so dizzy I almost passed out at my table. It was actually cooler outside (Even though it was literally 106 outside) than it was inside. They had a DJ (I guess you could call him that) playing some really awful remixes of FULL BLOWN YOUTUBE VIDEOS. Like no music in the original videos, just adding crappy trap music in the background. (They were playing "Substitute Teacher" from Key and Peele for those who know what that is) They had some sort of club lighting going on. With flashing lights, very bad music that was being blasted through a subwoofer, and very little air conditioning I would have probably had a better experience at red lobster. Other than all of that, the employees actually seemed pretty nice despite the reviews. I started feeling sick because of the overwhelming heat, and stimuli, so I asked to use a bathroom and they directed me to the men's room, because it was cooler and smelled better so I could hopefully start to feel better. I ended up staying in the bathroom for a while, and a couple of the employees came to check on me to make sure I was okay. Overall, not the best experience, I'm not even willing to order to-go cause I know I'd have to walk back into the completely overstimulating environment again. So no I would not recommend going to this place to even give it a try.

Food was delicious! Had a good deal going on. $38 for two plates came w/6 shrimp,,1-crab king cluster,, 1-sausage link, corn & potatoes. If you wanted extra shrimp-$10for 6 more. They charge $1 for butter seasoning -which I would think would be your choice but I guess it's like an add on sorta thing. ONE HUGE drawback! Or maybe two.. hard to find parking but maybe b/c there was another event going on in the same parking lot? ANNNNDDD The big dooozie- it felt like I was in the club eating my food. Music was great but just not the time/place. Couldn't even have a conversation. Idk. Maybe I need to try their food truck?

Upon walking in the door we probably should have turned on our heels and walked out. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they have music playing at UNGODLY high volume. The music is of the hip-hop variety and played over a decent power speaker mounted on a tripod. And once again, it was BLARING EAR SPLITTING LOUD. Hip hop is definitely not my thing, but even if it were smooth jazz I'd hate it played at that volume. But to be fair, based on the clientele crowding the place, I believe the manager was catering to their taste. Service was good, but their method of handing out your fountain drink cup was weird and a bit disgusting. Specifically the cups are stacked behind the counter, upside down as normal, but the top cup has a piece of black duct tape wrapped around the bottom edge. The cashier plucks the cup off the stack while grasping the duct tape, pulling the next cup up with it. I suppose this is done to keep their hands off of your cup, but the duct tape cup is freaking FILTHY, looking like it had been used for the last 12 months by an oil rig worker. As far as the food, it was MEH at best. The shrimp were cooked well but the cajun seasoning did not come through. The snow crab legs were also cooked well, but did not come with a nutcracker to break the shells. I was forced to smash the hardest part of the shell (the claws) with my fist. The seafood was served with lots of really excellent sliced potatoes and a bratwurst style sausage which was also quite good. One weird thing (to me, anyway) was a hard boiled egg rolling around on the tray. It that a common way of serving shrimp/crab that I have never seen before? My wife wanted to wash her hands before leaving but there was a line of women 8 long at the door. I guess there isn't much that can be done about that. The expensive cost of the meal combined with everything else leads me to my 2-star review. One and done, and probably crossing Pflugerville off of my places to visit ever again.

So delicious! Honestly a whole experience! This was the date! We worked for our food a bit and got heckled a little doing it! We had a great time and every bit was amazing. A really nice place to treat yourself to some good food and support local!

Great food! Easy to order online and very fast when it comes to making my order, Black owned is always a plus in my book :) I have only taken the food to go since I live around the corner but they have a DJ every time I walk in. It looks like a great time inside.

For $22 at lunch, this is a great way to try this restaurant. The crab and shrimp were fresh and sweet, but man was this buttery. I am used to Vietnamese Cajun with a very forward garlic flavor, but this was very much butter/ salt/ Cajun seasoning forward.

The food was good, but the crab legs were meager and everything was served in a deep soup of butter. It would be better to put the butter on the side to provide diners a choice. It was hardly worth the effort to crack open the crab legs there was so little meat in them. They provided no tools for that except plastic utensils, which is sadly inept for a place with 'Krab' in its name. The seafood platter feeds 3 people for $53. It's mostly potatoes. There is no service. You order and get your own food at the counter, so their jumping on the everybodygetsatip bandwagon was inappropriate. They play loud nightclub music to please the staff since their entertainment is really what's important after all. Good luck conversing with the person sitting next to you. The rest I could tolerate, but loud music is a deal killer for me. We likely won't return.

We have always seen this place, decided to try it tonight and I got to say the food was good not at the top of my list but good. I ordered the shrimp and crab and a bottle of coke we got out food but somehow not our drinks, after asking for them 2 times we finally got them so asking for a tip and paying before food is out is not my favorite thing I would have taken my tip back. They did have a dj there now he was ok but his song changes were completely off beat. Over all it's an ok place.

Food: 4.5 stars Y'all- my partner n I sat in silence and stuffed our faces- completely ignoring each other's company it's that gosh dang tasty. We ordered the Cajun flavor and it had a subtle kick n a nice buttery bath. (The longer the potatoes soak in there, the better). Price was a lil much considering the portion but also- I don't eat crab often enough to get a good estimate of "good"/market pricing in this economy is so take that opinion with a grain of salt. I don't remember what size we got but pictured here was like a nice hefty snack portion for two people. Service/Venue: TBD We ordered to go so no rating will be given for this- I hope to experience dine in and I'll update the review accordingly. Cashier who gave us our food was mad chill though! There's plenty of parking though be a lil careful if you have a really low vehicle. Would I come back? Yeah!!

I wanted to like this place soooo bad. I have been reading reviews and wanting to go there for a while and finally talked my fiancé into it on a Saturday evening. I was surprised to find the parking lot nearly empty when we arrived (around 7:30pm), but soon found out why. As soon as you walk through the door, it looks like a restaurant - but feels like a club. There is a DJ (who is quite good) in the corner of the open restaurant, but the music is so dang loud you have to yell your order at the ladies behind the counter. We had our two year old son with us and it was troubling how loud it was...we considered leaving but had plans afterwards, so decided to stay. It was a quick wait for the food. I was surprised that all four claws fit on the one tray. They were quite smaller than expected but the most concerning thing - they provide you with the flimsiest plastic utensils and that is it!! Not even a metal fork to plow through tough edges!! My fiancé asked for crackers and was given a sturdier plastic picker - and then told we needed to pay $1 extra for it!! Thats like going to a steakhouse and being only given a plastic butter knife (and being charged for it!). We got the cajun seasoning and all of the food was very well seasoned and tasted fine. They did even bring the baby potatoes that were unseasoned (which was nice). It was very difficult to get the crab out though. They were too small to not have any utensils to use. I feel like I left half of it on the plate because I couldn't get to the meat. Thank goodness we ordered some shrimp as well. We both were still hungry when we left. Needless to say we will not be returning.

This is located in a very small business shopping center in Pflugerville , but it's so worth the stop. My best friend , brother and I went for lunch (1-2pm) and we expected there to be a long wait but there was no wait. They sat us down fairly quickly. We were seated next to a bar, there is a bar! And they had drink specials. A couple next to us was drinking some really refreshing pretty drinks. I ordered the crab and shrimp platter with the original butter. I believe my best friend got the garlic one. It was all delicious. The food was hot but the taste was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend

Do NOT eat here. I've filed a complaint with the food/health handler and inspection. It is beyond repulsive and disgusting. Wretched at its finest. I waited an hour for my food after placing a pickup order. The disgust level of food handling while I was patiently waiting is appalling. The entire place is disgusting. I've filed a report with the police department as well for an atrocious interaction with the staff. The employees are foul. I waited an hour and my food wasn't ready. I finally asked what the hold up was because the employees weren't doing anything. The employee proceeded to tell me that there wasn't any crab. The crab they had wasn't "servable" and they were not allowed to serve it because it is bad. I was given NO options, no refund, nothing. Just a disgusting attitude and unanswered questions. I told her I wanted a refund on the items that I cannot receive (I spent $160 to not receive half my order). Then, the employees boyfriend (not a worker) began to escalate the problem and inserted himself in the interaction. Mind you, he isn't an EMPLOYEE. Just sitting, drinking, and watching tv. She began complaining about me, in front of me, to her boyfriend. She walked over to him for him to console. I'm not sure if they are on drugs or drunk but this is disgusting and appealing. I've recorded the interaction and will be considering legal action. I asked for the manager/owners info and they proceeded to tell me they are not comfortable giving it to me. Well, I hope you're comfortable giving it to a lawyer.

the food is goood. Flavors are on point. Service is awesome even though they are very busy but they get it done. The atmosphere is awesome, you see people just enjoying their food.

Food was amazing I got the krab plate 1 came with a lot of food. I got Cajun a really flavorful seasoning. I got 2 plates and the total was 91.00 not bad for good sea food

I have heard so many great things about Krab Kingz so when I saw it on the local collection list for Yelp's Big Night In, I had to order it for delivery! It was a great opportunity to finally try this place especially with the option for delivery. Ordering was easy! Open the restaurant's listing in the Yelp app and voila GrubHub appears. I placed my order for the seaside platter and it arrived around the time specified. Easy peasy! It arrived in an aluminum tin pan ready to be devoured. We selected the spicy butter sauce. We eat a lot of spicy food so the first bite was not spicy at all. As we kept eating, it definitely got spicier. Yum! I wish the spicy butter sauce had garlic in it. I think next time we will pay extra for an additional sauce that has garlic in it. Original butter comes free so if you want the spicy butter sauce, it is .99 cents extra. Potatoes were loaded up on the bottom, sausages, boiled eggs, corn, shrimp and crab legs on top. Everything was delicious. I can't believe everything was gone so fast! No regrets. Our bellies are full and I am glad we could order in tonight.

Today for my Mothers day treat, I decided to try Krab Kingz as they have been on my to-do list for nearly a year. I ordered the Krab and Shrimp plate. This plate came with crab, shrimp, one mini corn, potatoes, one boiled egg and one sausage link. The crab meat was sweet but sparse and the seasoning for the entree was a bit too salty for my liking. For the price point, the meal was a bit steep for what was included as it was heavy on the potatoes and light on everything else. This was an okay meal but nothing spectacular.

This gem of a restaurant is the real deal. We had it delivered to our home due to CoVid, and it arrived perfectly. We got this platter and shared between 2 people. The flavoring and freshness was amazing. We haven't had a seafood boil in a long while and this hit the spot. The seafood was amazing but the potatoes and corn are standouts too. The real head scratcher is why is there a boiled egg included? No idea but my husband ate it anyway. We will definitely be adding it to the rotation. Give it a try and keeping supporting our local businesses!

First time here and OMG! Finger licking good (I actually licked all my fingers, too!) We ordered the Seaside Platter for 4! We added an additional crab leg and glad we did ! It came with sausage, potatoes, corn and shrimp! We got the Cajun flavor + Honey Garlic Butter recommended by the super nice lady at the register! We will be coming back ASAP!

Solid joint located in Pflugerville. Ventured out as we were craving seafood and they mentioned they did curbside takeout, which was awesome. Hadn't eaten all day so we had an appetite, so I sprung for the larger crab and shrimp platter $45, which came with sausage, a bed of potatoes, and sausage links. All came out in a nice hefty aluminum tray, which kept the food warm and fresh till we got home. I sprung for a mix of spicy+cajun butter and it didnt disappoint. Everything was well seasoned, crab tasted amazing, and as you worked through the tray they layered the potatoes on the bottom so theyd absorb all the seasonings. Was pleasantly surprised, and wouldnt hesitate to go back again. Location is no frills but this place is about the food. Would highly recommend checking them out!

5/5. Best Cajun cooking I've had in Texas. Seafood was delicious and fresh. Lunch was only $15 which is mind blowing for Crab, Shrimp, Potatos, Corn and sausage. Based on the price I thought about ordering a second entree because I usually go hungry on the smaller portions offered by other restaurants. This was not the case with their Krab and Shrimp platter. I was stuffed and ready to slip into a food induced coma. Go check this place out! COVID friendly take out options either via their drive through or by walking inside if you have a mask.

Negative 5. Just no! No flavor - just like eating straight up oil. My stomach hurt after eating this. Potato was too crunchy and undercooked. Also they didn't serve the right type of potato for crab boil. Gave us fewer shrimp than advertised and they were even clean. Did not replace/substitute out sausage with extra egg and potato as requested. Overpriced in the first place.

Update May 7,2022: So what a better way to kick off the warm weather season than with a crab & shrimp platter by the pool. Oh em gee Krab Kingz did not disappoint!! Delivery was great through Uber Eats & even delivered to the pool. The crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn, egg...just so yummy! Fresh & delicious!! I believe the price went up a bit but so frikkin what!! Still worth it. I'm so sad I'll be leaving Texas in a few weeks bc this is my favorite seafood joint for real. In the meantime, in between time, I will eat here every weekend until I leave.

We been having KrabKings since 2016 and there's no other place in town or surrounding areas that can top thermos quality and flavor this places is just fire my family and I enjoy it very much each time.

Well - this restaurant came with very high marks!!! My daughter in law gave high recommendations- and she's picky!!! So - I was feeling really evil and wanting to spend some money and... despite the fact I had toast and coffee late morning I'm starving!!!! I was hungry for crawfish.... but the hubster is not fond of any spiciness..... do you know of a crawfish boil that doesn't use Cajun seasoning? Well, me either, so when she mentioned " I really don't but this is where we always go for crab" and "we go frequently because it's awesome" I was like oh crab sounds great!!! It was very easy to place our order online. I had no troubles whatsoever and was able to pay for it and add a tip as well. Nothing I like better than doing pick up when everything is taken care of!! We are a little nervous about how it will taste when we get home and if I had realized they were open I might've thought a little harder about eating there just because seafood is so delicate but I will write up our review on the taste once we eat. This is just to let everyone know that online ordering process was great and that the customer service was great too! Well now that we've eaten -I do have a couple remarks. I like spicy so mine was delicious. I did remove one star not because the Hubster's was bad but because I was very disappointed that my husband couldn't eat his. I had specifically requested no spice-twice in fact- in both comment sections. When we opened the two huge styrofoam containers they were identical- which means everything in them had a visible coating of cajun spice. I felt I needed to take some responsibility , because it was a $30 meal - I probably should have called and not counted on the reading of the requests I made with in the online order. I rinsed everything off and felt the spice level at that juncture was low but- this is a man who thinks a regular old sprinkle of pepper is " hot" so it was a no go. So Buyer Beware- if anyone you dine with has an aversion to spice -if it can't be left off -then this may not be the place for you. I felt very bad and couldn't enjoy the meal either.

I had the King Crab platter spicy butter and it is simply amazing delicious . Upon picking up my order the owner or it has to be ask for my name and hand me my food he thanks me for ordering and tell me to enjoy it. When I ask additional questions he simply answered them with no issues. I surely enjoy it once I got back. Thank you for serving great food and great customer service. Great place to go especially on Friday and Saturday nights! They have a DJ playing hip hop and R&B jamz from the 90's and 2000's. Their crab legs and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and were simply delicious. They're located at the POP which is convenient whether you're coming from Austin, Hutto, or Pflugerville! Go try em out!

Saw the special Krab Kingz offered through their social media page and I knew it was a perfect time to try this joint out! For $35 you get two orders of 1 king crab, 6 shrimp, potatoes, corn and one sausage link. I believe I overheard the worker saying it was pretty much a lunch order. I went for the customer favorite and got their Cajun butter as choice of seasoning. It was a great mix of butter and Cajun spice! The potatoes tasted superb with every bite from the absorption of the Cajun butter. As for the king crab, it was decent size but not as huge as I've been accustomed to. So there isn't that much meat but nonetheless it was good. You get more of the flavor on the outside layer of the crab so go ahead and dunk the crab meat in their butter sauce! I don't know any place in Austin that sells crab legs besides Krab Kingz, I'll definitely come back when I'm on the mood for some seafood.

The food is excellent But the wait is an hour every tune When you order online it states 15-20 mins I got there 15 mins after the longest time and after standing in a line for 15 mins to let them know I was here , was told still another 5-15 mins - 30 mins later still waiting. People that ordered in store while I was standing in line to let them know I was here got their order prior to me. There is an issue with the flow of orders. Placing an order online at 750 and still sitting in the restaurant at 902 waiting for the order is a little ridiculous There is one person running the counter and running orders on a Saturday night This is not the first time we have experienced this type of wait and is the reason we don't order from here very often
