I used to love Krasa back when it was called Lawn Burger, and it was my favorite burger spot in the city. I’m not sure what happened, but my burger today was almost inedible. The patty had no seasoning, and the burger tasted mostly like mustard, which was layered on there thick! I paid extra for tomato and got a scrap that usually would end up in the compost pile. The fries also tasted like old oil and were really soggy. My partner got the spicy chicken wrap, which was better, but dripping in sauce so was soggy too. I’m not sure what happened, but all in all very disappointing meal.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Their quality and creativity is outstanding! They also added Ukrainian style shawarma wraps and that just takes the prize!

Amazing fun vibe with techno and artsy decor. Shwarma and burger were great, portions generous. Enjoyed the little vodka shots. Loved having alcohol options besides cans. Would def recommend & return

Im afraid to tell people of this place because it may not longer be my favorite hidden gem of Chicago!! Lol. Truly a great place to eat for a quick bite or chill with friends before or after an event. Food is absolutely delicious, staff is super friendly, and the ambiance is very chill, with indoor seating or an out door terrace. I cant get enough of their garlic mayo that is the perfect condiment for their crispy fries!!

Passed by here not knowing what it was, but the outside of the building was so intriguing it is what led me to check it out. The burgers were amazing. Friendly service and uniquely cute inside with a very nice patio. Will be back again to try the shawarma.

What a gem! The food at Krasa Craft Restaurant is absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The service was excellent — everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Had the blue burger and truffle fries. The patty fell flat (no pun intended) and the bun was eh. Fries were disappointing as if felt more like they just threw parmasean cheese all over them

I stopped by Krasa Craft Restaurant today, and overall, I liked it. I ordered the Classic Shawarma, a cappuccino, and the Truffle Fries. Gotta be honest — the cappuccino was a letdown. It was made in a machine, and I was expecting something way better quality-wise, but oh well. Food-wise though — both the shawarma and fries were really good, no complaints there. The place itself looks great too — super stylish interior, you can tell they put effort into the vibe. Would I come back to eat? Yeah, for sure. But I’d skip the coffee next time.

Yall, this food is incredible. Don't sleep on the French fries and garlic sauce. They're extra crispy outside and hot and fresh inside. I got the Chicago shawarma as well. Incredible. I'll be back soon!

Really easy service order at the counter and get a buzzer then pick up the order. Friend ordered Hawaiian burger and it was really good! I ordered the Hawaiian chicken shawarma wrap and it was good. My fav was the cheese fries

This is a neat little restaurant. The front of it is covered in artifical green foliage. You cant miss it. There is metered street parking out front and within a reasonable walking distance. The woman that took my order was friendly and helpful. They have a small inside dining area and a decent sized patio area. part of the patio can be enclosed and has a fireplace for the cooler days. The other section of the patio is open air. The patio is adorned by a bunch of different green plants that run down the walls. As an added bonus, they have a complimentary water station The restaurant has music playing throughout the patio and dining area and is dimly lit. They serve some unique and exotic burgers including : the Flame Burger, the Blue Burger, the Hawaiian Burger, and the Belly Buster. They also have shawarma (spicy, Chicago, Teriyaki, and UA Classic). And if you looking for an adult beverage, they serve beer and wine here. I ordered the Sweet Burger, which came with fries. It only took a little over 5 minutes for me to get my food. It was fresh and may not have been the best that I have had, but it still was good. I would eat here again, if I ever find myself back in Chi-town. It is a chill/low key restaurant, with decent food.

I never knew a burger could taste this scrumptious!!! This place really popped off with both the vibes and the food. You walk in and pay at an unassuming counter. When you walk further in, you're presented with the coolest vine/plant/wood themed decor with a koi fish pond in the middle. In the back, there is a surrounded outdoor dining space. I got the mushroom burger (which comes with teriyaki sauce, mushrooms, a medium patty, goat cheese and arugula), and my friend got the teriyaki shawarma. The burger was so juicy, and the cheese and arugula paired/cut through perfectly with the saltiness of the patty! The fries were just okay, pretty standard - though the garlic sauce it came with was delicious!

The customer service is great The burger s are good and all of there coffee 99 cents there is no place in Chicago that u can get a 99 cents ice latte or cappuccino the coffee is great as well.

This is the second time I came here and I would say the wrap is delicious. The chicken is well seasoned and the wrap is so thin where you don't get stuff with carb. I got the spicy chicken shawarma and my boyfriend got the mushroom burger. Street parking. There is indoor seating. The employee is very friendly, the first time I order my food to go they even write a note on the bag and pack two gum for us.

Just another Impossible burger. It's kind of a disappointing state of affairs where every burger place that used to have a veggie burger now just has impossible or beyond meat burgers. I don't know if lawn had a real veggie burger previously, or not, but it just ended up being the same thing. I love that I have a veggie option, don't get me wrong, but it's just too ubiquitous. Same old, same old.

Hard to say this is really a top burger in the city kind of burger, but definitely above average and definitely good enough to come back. No fountain drinks, only cans. They have beer. From outside it looks tiny, like one of those places that has nowhere to sit, but there's a HUGE amount of outdoor seating (and some indoor seating) in the back. Very friendly staff.

A blog called this the "best cheeseburger in Chicago," but I happen to be partial to Small Cheval for the casual, no-frills cheeseburger. I went here on a date and sat in the patio out back. We got beer and I ordered what was probably the standard cheeseburger which was immemorable. I drove by a few months ago and apparently they now offer schwarma.

My wife and I eat here before seeing a play at the Chopin theater. The service was very fast and efficient. The burgers were tasty and fresh tasting. My wife is gluten-free and they gave her lettuce to use as a wrap around the burger and she liked it. She said the lettuce was very fresh. I appreciate getting in and out quickly with a good meal. I would definitely return here again. I do know that there's a lot of outside seating, with Pleasant, looking vines and ceiling fans. There is limited seating in the air conditioned area. It was a hot day. Perhaps because we were eating early, there was plenty of room in the air-conditioning. I would not have liked so much if I was out in the heat. But that's just me.

Flame Burger for the win. Really, really tasty. Grilled bun, melty cheese. So good. Service was quick but also it was a slow time. Sat by the fireplace. Really nice.

This place doesn't mess around... they produce some tasty juicy burgers! The size of the burgers was big enough to fill us up for lunch. I ordered the cheeseburger with extra pickle. The pickles were huge and I loved the sauce that came on the burger. The truffle parmesan fries were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. I had to get an Allagash White to wash it all down with because I just can't pass up Allagash when I see it. The seating area is very eclectic; grass covered tables in the back and a bathtub full of koi fish. They have great food and atmosphere in spades!!!

Not even close to a 4.6 rated joint, all of the pictures have to be old because those burgers actually look good! They advertise 1/2 Pound burgers.... What you get is a thin pattie that's a little wider if you know what I mean. Beef quality marginal.. condiments also flavorless with no tomato or lettuce? Reminded me of a bigger Mc Donald's cheeseburger at best! Not sure where the great reviews came from but it looks to have just changed hands!? +1 for the nice girl at the counter. Talk later

At the spur of the moment, I visited 'Lawn Craft Hamburger' while in the area in search of a place for eats. I initially discovered Lawn Craft off of Upside application which offered a 6% cash back offer for purchases. Other than that, it was its outdoor lawn dining feature with tables consisting of actual growing grass that intrigued me to visit. Options for parking are either along N Ashland Ave or within the neighborhood. During this visit, I was fortunate enough to find a parking spot right outside of the restaurant along N Ashland Ave which was pay by the plate. And it costs no more than $1.87 for no more than 45 minutes which I did not use entirely because I was in-and-out. Likely on a different date when in an extroverted mood, I will dine-in to get the full outdoor lawn experience. Other than the group ordering ahead of me, Lawn Craft Hamburger was near empty! Per, Google, I noted that it typically picks up business during the mid-evening hours which I have no interest in visiting during. And for your information, Lawn Craft appears more as a fast casual style of a restaurant. Atmosphere: 4 (Good) I was acknowledged to order as soon as the employee was finished with the group ahead of me. I ended up ordering a Cheeseburger replaced with an Impossible veggie patty w/ Sprite. On the menu, there were only three burgers replaceable with the 'Impossible' veggie patty which were the Cheeseburger, the Mushroom Burger, and the Blue Burger. No more than 10 minutes, I was alerted via a buzzing/vibrating pager given that my order was completed which worked out well. Service: 5 (Great) I enjoyed each bite until the last of the "Impossible" veggie patty which could have passed as a real hamburger. Along with the veggie patty, I enjoyed the Truffle parmesan fries as well. Speaking of the Truffle parmesan fries, I was shocked to find them inside of my bag because all I ordered was the "Impossible" veggie patty w/ Sprite. Likely, the next time I visit Lawn Craft, I will order them now that I have an idea what they taste like, which was far from a disappointment. Food: 4 (Good) Being that I had a good experience, I would gladly order from Lawn Craft Hamburger again whenever in Wicker Park or Ukrainian Village area which I do frequently visit. Have you ever eaten on a lawn? If not, you can at this restaurant. Lawn has a grass theme. Better to go when it's warmer, then you'll want to be seated outside at the grassy tables and have a burger. There's meaty burgers as well as plant based, along with Philly steaks. A pretty unique kind of restaurant and it kind of reminds me of having a picnic in the park because of the grass. It was a warmer day so we thought to come here. This place specializes in burgers, and they have all kinds. Burgers need to come with a drink. The beer selection is okay. It's pretty basic. The burgers are the main thing. Each of us got the Veggie Burger. It's about $13 for a big one. This came with arugula and sesame teriyaki sauce. Good and filling. The buns are kind of big, which ends up making it feel like you're eating a lot. Cool place to get some beers and burgers. It's not cheap for sure but you'll get good quality in return. There's a ton of burgers to choose from and it even has one for vegans and vegetarians.

The #1 aspect this place excels at is the vibes--super chill, really euro-pub feel to the inside, lovely backyard-patio ambiance with the outdoor seating. I went with the seasonal burger (a Hawaiian burger!), and while I got a lot more pineapple than I was expecting (probably my fault), the tastes were on point. Truffle fries were decent. There was a small crew working, but we're very happy to point me in the right direction on what to eat as a first-time customer there. It won't be the last time I go, either. Really cute place!

Came here with my husband and in-laws. We all loved the food. I ordered the portobello burger and it was delicious! The fries are great too! The atmosphere is great too, cozy lighting with lots of plants inside. Great heaters so it was warm for our December visit. Definitely recommend!

Tasty and delicious burgers and schwarma from a Ukrainian business- we tried the blue burger and the UA wrap. Big portions. UA wrap had good crunch from pickled cabbage combined with generous sauce and chicken. Various seating options including indoor or courtyard. Casual and not too busy on a Friday around noon.

Euphoric, etherial, and tasty! Great off the beaten path experience in WP. The truffle fries are the best.

Where can you get a good Philly cheese steak sandwich outside of Philadelphia? Right here in Chicago at Lawn Restaurant  They have a great phillycheesesteaks sandwiches with a savory and sweet sauce that is delicious. We had both just the sandwich and a combo with fries. It is well worth it to get the combo as the fries are also delicious. Next time we will try the truffle fries! They also have 9 different burgers, we want to try the mushroom burger! It's BYOB so you are welcome to bring your own drinks of choice. It doesn't look like much from the outside in the front, but step inside, go to the back, and it's a whole nother story. The decor is so cute and eclectic There is indoor (with a footed bathtub filled with fish) and outdoor ( a nice patio with a long ping table) seating available with lots of plants all around. I'm sure this is a favorite spot on a warm summer day or night. They do have an adjacent parking lot that is free, however, there are no signs posted. The owner is Ukranian, and there is a flag on the front of the building. So come and support this Ukranian owned business and have some great food in a fun atmosphere!

Meh... you can tell these are frozen premade burgers. Not craft Flavorless. Would not go back

I really enjoy lawn burger for what it is! Great location and one of the good burgers in wicker park. The service is not necessarily friendly but I always get what I ask for. The ambiance is super cute and I love the fish pond! I give this 3-stars because it is not one of the best burgers and it's expensive.

This place is amazing. If you are in the area, definitely come here. The food is great, sitting outside is like an oasis, friendly staff and quick service. Can't say enough good things. You'll just have to see for yourself

Oof, something happened to the quality of this place. This use to be our go to place for burgers if you really got a quality burger with fantastic frys (see my old review). The last two times we have gone the burgers are wrapped in foil (they used to come in a container to prevent the burrs from being crushed/smooshed) and are now they are now more Akin to a cheap fast food burger and not a more premium burger. Not only this, but the most recent burgers have consistently given me and my wife a stomach ache. I also feel that their portion sizes have gotten smaller, when you ordered a side of fries,you used to get a good bin, now you get a very small paper bag filled half way. I really don't know what happened, but it's very unfortunate to see this place go downhill. I will probably try them at least once or twice more before completely giving up because it was so good before.

They must have had a change in management or something because I had heard so many good things about this place. When we finally tried it this weekend, our pickup order was ready when we walked in; we noted the new Shwarma sign outside and the new 'Test Menu' with schwarma at the counter. Just like the other person mentioned, the burger was wrapped in foil paper, which wouldn't be a problem if my burger had any flavor at all. The patty was akin to some cheap patty from a random grocery store with some okay toppings on top. The fries were $4 and $5 for small bag of them with some sauce.

This restaurant is a small green oasis in the city of Chicago. The seating is open air concept, with plentiful seats to hang out and relax with friends. Also, the service is A+ and the staff members are extremely nice and welcoming. The overall ambiance and decor were definitely a 5/5 and I would come back to this place just because of that. The food I personally thought was a 4/5. I ordered a simple burger, which is their most basic burger option. I have to say that even their simple burger is huge and you will definitely be full at the end of your meal. My only critique is that I felt that that the buns were too huge, which made the burger a little hard to eat. I ended up taking the top bun off and eating my burger open faced which ended up working well. The truffle Parmesan fries are delicious 5/5 and a must get with your meal! Also, if you are feeling hungry and looking for a challenge, the belly buster burger is absolutely gigantic and will probably require you to eat your burger in two pieces. A fun challenge if you are up to it or super hungry!

Today, after ordering UA Classic shawarma, I received shawarma with hair!!! There is no need to say anything about the atmosphere and service because hair in the food is unacceptable!!!!!

The most unique and delicious burger place in Chicago has to go to @lawn.craft.hamburger . You will enjoy burgers on a table that's actually a lawn of grasses and be surrounded by plants and a living wall of greens! Their burgers have all my favorite elements - thick and juicy patties, soft buns, and a delightful blend of spices and flavors. It's like every burger has a theme that's either sweet, tropical, or cheesy, and I enjoy all of them

Burgers were incredibly tasty. Eating on grassy tables was a unique experience. There were no bug issues while we were there, but I could see that being a problem. All in all, this is cute hidden spot with very good food and welcoming staff. The kids loved it, so we'll be back. There's a ping pong table in the back too.

Super cute burger spot in Wicker Park! This has to be one of my favorite patios in Chicago! It is super unique with a hidden garden type of feel. There is a bathtub full of fish, tons of plants, tables with a grass too that you can eat on, etc. Lawn is a great spot to play ping pong with friends or just enjoy the ambiance! The food here is great as well! My friend and I got the Bleu Burger and the Hawaiian burger with a side of truffle fries. The burgers were amazing and both were packed with toppings. The fries were great as well. This is one of my go-to spots to take friends! It kinda reminds me of Paradise Park, but a much more relaxed environment!

Tasty, Affordable, Quick Service, Awesome indoor and outdoor facilities, plus they gave me a stick of gum in my to-go bag.

I went to this place just based on the photos I saw online and I'm so glad I judged a book by its cover because this burger was ! The seating area is fun and refreshing and quirky, giving you a fun option to sit at a table with a grass growing tabletop. There is a clawfoot bath tub with fish swimming around and the ambience makes for a lovely experience while trying not to look like an animal eating the most delicious and messy burger ever! They let you BYOB which is awesome, and they do offer non-alcoholic beverages. One of thr best burgers I've ever had came from here and I cannot wait to go back.

I've been missing out. This is so close to my house and I've never been. But I was craving a burger so this was my chance. Saturday afternoon on a super warm sun day but it was surprisingly empty. I placed my order up front (I had the basic burger option with truffle fries and a coke) I sat outside there are plenty of seating options out there, but there are some inside, just not enough. They also have some games so u can play if you come with other people! My meal was delicious!!!!! The fries were golden and crunchy just such a dream. The burger was tasty. I could definitely split the fries with someone else. It was too much for me.

There is a super small indoor section with a fish tank made out of a bath tub. The best park is this hidden outdoor patio. Menu (3/5): if you are someone who reads the menu before arriving a few things to be aware of. Online it states they are BYOB but this is no longer true. Additionally all prices are incorrect on the menu online. For the food- we got two different burgers with the truffle Parmesan fries and cheese fries. The fries are the double fried French fries and they were great! The burgers were over cooked and had too many toppings to mask the flavorless patty. This place is cute but the food wasn't the best. I do recommend coming for the patio and fries.

So slow. As a Uber Eat driver, I got requested to pick up order at 6:53 pm. I got there at 7 pm. Order should be ready I also see their tablet said my order was ready. But no. The staff told me about 5-7 minute so I decided to wait. I checked back again at 7:10. The staff told me that I just call the kitchen to make the order. They have to make for walk-in first!!!! But online order came first. Worst restaurant.

I went here with a friend on Monday for the first time. It started off really well because I walked in and there was a bowl of candy (the good kind) LoL. I ordered a cheeseburger and my friend order the mushroom burger with the impossible patty--both with fries. She also added pickles to her burger. Upon receiving the burgers we noticed there were no pickles. Instead of just giving us the pickles (keep in mind that's only 3-4 circle size slices) the woman taking the order pulled up my receipt to make sure I paid for them (which I did) and asked me multiple times if I was sure there were no pickles on the burger--I answered "yes, I'm sure". Unfortunately, that was not enough. She had me go back to the table and bring the burger so I could prove it to her--I did. Even as I write this, I realize just how humiliating that was because I KNOW it had everything to do with the color of my skin. She thought I was lying about having pickles (that I paid to add) on my burger. Pickles, guys--pickles!!! That was the first problem. Fast forward, we're eating our food. My friend states that the texture of her burger seems "weird". Keep in mind, I asked more than once if they (the restaurant) were sure they got the orders correct because she was vegan. They said yes. Well, they DID NOT!!! My friend had not eaten beef in over 15 years and the one times she does it's not even HER CHOICE! So, I went to take the burgers back to the front and the cashier apologized and blamed the chef. She said he wasn't focused--which I saw for myself so I knew she was not lying because he was too busy socializing. She then stated and I quote, "I can make you new burgers free of charge." I truly did not understand that line of thinking because why on GOD's green earth would I pay YOU to FIX a mistake that I did not make. That made no sense. I requested a refund but she still had the burgers remade. She was honestly more remorseful than the chef and he was the one cooking the food. On the way out, he was at the front so I stated to him, " Big mistake man, she hadn't eaten beef in over 15 years." He looked us dead in the eyes with a goofy sarcastic grin on his face, threw up his hands and shrugged his shoulders. He SHRUGGED his shoulders! I could not believe it. As a foodie, this was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES I've ever had. If I could give negative stars, I would. And to top it all off, the burger wasn't even good. It was extremely dry. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is so overrated. The burgers literally tasted like the frozen cafeteria hamburgers you get at school, but wiith better toppings and sauces. I'll give an extra star for the ambiance and customer service, but there's so many better hamburger places out there. Don't bother.

Highly recommend! You must stop by before the winter hits. My bf and I have eaten here twice... in the past 3 days. We went on Sunday and Tuesday night with our puppy, Charlie. The restaurant patio is super nice. The decor is trendy and upscale. There is so much greenery and the design is very unique and inventive. Our table literally had grass on it and a small tree on one end! Dogs are allowed! My bf had the Beef Cheesesteak burger both nights. He mixed it up by having cheddar on one night and provolone on the other. Very good, obviously! I had the Big House Hamburger the first night. It was also very good. Salty and sweet, the BBQ sauce had good flavor. Everything goes nicely together. I would definitely get it again. On the second night, I had the Simply Hamburger with cheddar. This was super yummy, I could eat this one everyday and not get tired of it. The mustard sauce was mild and I enjoyed it, even though I never eat mustard. All the burgers came on a nice soft bun with sesame seeds and a small yummy pepper or olive. We also got fries both nights. They are truly extra crispy as advertised. Very good... they might be lightly battered or twice fried, I don't know how they do it, but they are very good. Definitely get them. You won't regret it. Logistics: Order and pay at the counter, then head to the back and grab a table. You'll get a buzzer. When it rings, pick up the food at the counter. Of note, there's only 1 unisex single bathroom and the burgers can get a little messy, so you'll prob need to wash your hands after you eat. We really enjoyed Lawn and hope they stick around. Please support them! It is BYOB, which is THE BEST. It's also a great date spot, if you don't mind eating with your hands. Very nice. Quiet and possibly romantic, but still casual. I'm not sure what they will do for the winter, whether or not they will get heaters or maintain outdoor dining. For now, stop by or order take out or delivery.

Sub-standard burgers that were not fully cooked and fries were tasteless. We ordered truffle fries and all they did was sprinkle Parmesan on them. Would not go back.

By far, the best burger I've ever had! I have been in many different cities all over the world, Lawn Burger is the best. The quality is outstanding. The staff is very professional. Great atmosphere. The entire menu is amazing!

I cannot think of a better burger! 10/10 from the bun, beef quality to the toppings. I always get the Blue Burger with Truffle Fries. Truly a very unique space & patio. Lawn Burger never disappoints, don't sleep on this place!!
