This is easily one of the best meals I think I’ve ever had in Michigan and I’m from here! We had the prosciutto Benedict, Baked Italian sandwich, Trash can nachos, Truffle fries, crème brûlée French toast, and the strawberries and cream waffle. This place is an hour and a half away from where we live and I would drive down just to eat that French toast again!

Tried this a couple weeks ago and couldn’t decide what I wanted there were so many options! I ended up getting a burger on a gluten free bun with sweet potato fries and it was delicious! Went back today and decided to try the apple turkey wrap (also GF and skipped the feta cheese because I’m also DF) and it was absolutely amazing! Still stuffed hours later! My husband got the monti cristo French toast and said it was delicious and he’d definitely order again! Restaurant was clean, open floor plan, great style. Waitresses both times made sure we were topped off on drinks, food was good, and prompt service. New favorite restaurant! Wish it hadn’t taken me so long to try it!

Our waitress was Janette, she was amazing, she filled drinks before they were empty, always made sure we had what we needed, was great conversation. At the end of our amazing meal, she informed us our meal was paid for by someone else, I highly recommend this restaurant. They go above and beyond and the food was delicious and HUGE servings!

This was my first time having breakfast (or anything from here) and the food was AMAZING. You get so much food for such a reasonable price. An omelet, potatoes (there were other options as well) and pancakes (you could have toast instead). Everything tastes fresh and high quality. The meal itself I think cost $11. That is a lot of amazing food for that price. Even another customer walking by saw what I had and said it looked amazing. The server was wonderful and friendly. The only downside this time was there was they were out of Coke. I do not live in Lapeer, but I will definitely come back. I love breakfast food and this place should be highly recommended.

I got the baked Mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious!! I also recommend the truffle fries! The sauce on those is incredible! Our server, Jasmine was great! She was very attentive and down to earth! Can’t wait to come back!

First time in and wow! What a great place! We had an order of cheese curds and they were so perfect. Lightly battered and big chunks of cheese! Best curds I've had in a LONG time! Also the double smash, the winter special of braised short rib pasta and my kiddo had the Fruity pebbles French toast. Everyone loved their meals and the portions are all huge!! They are also super kid friendly. Kids eat free and they gave out a book for us to take home. I wish I remembered our waitress's name cause she was stellar!! Will definitely be back to try more things since it was so hard to decide!!

New favorite breakfast spot! Came here for the first time and was blown away. The food was excellent, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The meat, sourced from a local market, really stood out—you can taste the quality. Even the fruit was perfectly fresh. We had the Classic Bagel and Strawberry Shortcake Waffles 10/10 MUST try! Friendly service and great value make this place a real gem. I’ll definitely be back!

Great local restaurant! Fresh food, expansive menu with some unique options. Great breakfast and lunch. Service is always on point. One of the best values on fresh food around! Def recommend!!

First time here and they did not disappoint! Very clean building and the service was perfect? I had the steak and eggs which was done perfectly! Good sear on steak and perfect medium rare inside. Wife had the country skillet, which was really good. Their sausage gravy is very good. The Bernaise that comes with the steak is to die for. The prices are very reasonable as you get lots of food.

Wow to start , what nice atmosphere, the menu was amazing ,great selection of food items , I settled on eggs Benedict, with potato cubes and their house blend of coffee , prices are decent , staff went above and beyond with service .(upon leaving we saw the local police there , and they always know the best places to dine).

Little disappointed in food. Very clean restaurant very friendly staff. The eggs were fresh great color. Ham was deli slice. Potatoes not crispy seems as if put in fryer drained waiting for next order. The biscuits and gravy very disappointing. I took 1 bite and tossed the rest. It tasted like processed bagged gravy and biscuits not homemade. They were cold, dried, very dense. Seems like premade processed biscuits. Far from fresh flaky biscuits. Sausage and gravy is very easily made and cheep to make. And stores for the morning easily . Should never go with pre made . Looks like great place I am sorry the food did not match.

Waited an hour for our order to arrive. AN HOUR! That's insane! Our server mostly absent...after awhile, I wondered if she had to cook as well as wait tables. I won't be back.

First time here with hubby. Service was great. Food was awesome. I had a floretine omelette was the best I've ever eaten.Hollandaise sauce. Was home made. Not from a packet. Home made apple butter and strawberry sauce for our toast excellent. Will definitely be going back. Thank you

the food is AMAZING. The presentation is always top notch, I think the chefs really care and love what they do! Very diverse menu that I am trying so many things, just tried the cannoli crepes and they are great too. It's always a quiet and chill atmosphere but I def recommend this place

Great service, food is mostly pretty good except beef is normally chewy. Nice ambiance but they need to get rid of the "Ball jars" they make you drink out of. They're a classless and bad idea. Also it's freezing in there!!!

I eat here several times when I'm in town. The food is always great. If there is an issue they fix it. Lots of great menu choices and quality food. I love the pancake choices! The waitstaff is outstanding even when busy. If it tends to be slower than usual, it's because they are so busy. I don't mind because the food is so good. It is a nice family friendly place and not over crowded with tables.

Came in today at 1220 for lunch. Restaurant was half full. At 108 still no food. I ordered a cold salad, no meat! When i asked our waitress why it was taking so long she barked at me that they had a big carry out they were busy with. Some guy came out of the kitchen to give us excuses why we had no food. I asked him just to bring our food please. Almost an hour in, the restaurant is empty and here is our food. We will not be back. Good luck.

Stopped on a Sunday morning on our way back to Wisconsin. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The service was very good. She kept the coffee and sodas filled. I had the chicken and waffles and my partner had an omlett. Waffles were sweet and the breading on the chicken was perfect. The bacon and cheese omlett was full of bacon and cooked to perfection. They made a fresh pot of decaf instead of giving the old.

I never tire of coming here. Everything I have tried is amazing! Just added the carrot cake pancakes to my list of things tried and it is delicious! If you're scared to try the big plate, get the flight of pancakes! You will not be disappointed coming here.

Sat by server - not hostess 4 tables sat after us were greeted then served drinks - and we had to call another server over to ask if there was a server assigned to our table. Told yes they would find them - and did offer to take our drink order. Coffee arrived with dirty spoons and no creamer. A server did arrive at our table now about 20 minutes after being seated. Remember the tables that were sat after us - their food started to arrive. Our server took our order - rather abruptly and sarcastically - apparently displeased we asked for a server. I also asked for new spoons and creamer- and was abruptly told they are out of a lot of things and it will be brought to the table "when they have it. " I canceled the order and she had the audacity to ask "why"... I simply replied "your attitude is inappropriate" NEVER TO RETURN" !!!!!

This used to be a local restaurant I frequently went to breakfast and enjoyed the #1 special. Unfortunately Covid forced them out of business. The name has been changed and now it's KRAVE. The redesign inside and outside is really well done and brings a classy feel and warm atmosphere when you pull up and walk in. I ordered the fish tacos with a side of steak fries. I was blown away with the flavor and taste of the fish tacos. I was Reminded of a little fishing village in Mexico called Puerto Morelos. They had the best fresh fish tacos prior to KRAVE. The Kansas City Steak with wild rice and mashed potatoes is another great option. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Wild rice and potatoes paired well with the steak. Last but not least the service was fantastic. I wish I remembered the name of our waitress but I can't. Old age kicks in again. Try KRAVE and be prepared to have a great meal with great service.

My friends and I had lunch at your restaurant on Thursday October 26th We were treated very well and all of us enjoyed our meal. My wife is looking forward to going with me next time. Your menu choices are outstanding. Thank you for your efforts to offer a great place to eat.

My friend and I waited over an hour for 2 sides of French fries. One had chicken on it, that was burnt. The cherry coke didn't even taste like cherry coke and wasn't impressed with the service. Won't be going back.

First time trying out this restaurant in Lapeer on Saturday June 26, 2021. We got there sometime around 11:30am ish....The reviews online had been mostly good, and the parking lot was pretty full so that was a good sign. Going in, it looked very new and clean. As far as any leftover Covid protocols go-no staff or customers wearing masks, not required. First time eating here, so I don't know if they took down plexiglass between tables, and at checkout(like other restaurants had)that would have been up for Covid-or just never had any. They did still have one sanitizer station by the door I did see. Moving on from that- It seems pretty big so you can still space out if you desire to. Our hostess was a cute little older lady that actually must've had that thought in her mind when she seated us-cuz she actually hesitated then moved us to a booth more away from a full table. Thanks to her for that one-appreciated! There was some coffee spills still on one bench, so she right away got that taken care of. We had Kelsey as our server, and she was really nice. The menu had a lot on it for breakfast that looked good to try, and the prices are very reasonable. I got the meat lovers omelette that came with potatoes, but was surprised our server said I got pancakes with it also! All for just $10.00! It was a lot of food, and was very tasty! Note for pancake lovers-The pancakes weren't huge, but coming with this omelette as a side-big enough. I had to take home leftover box. The Regular coffee was just typical restaurant coffee...but that's something I'm not a huge fan of anywhere so no biggie! My daughter got the chicken and waffles and choose the potatoes as her side too. She said it was one of the best tasting chicken & waffles she's had. They need to keep the chef as we want to go back and try something else as the food was so good! Lol Only downside was we had to ask for coffee more than once to get filled....and not sure why they're not keeping creamers, sugar, sugar substitutes on the table. Had to keep asking for those things also. Ketup was on the table, so not getting the reasoning behind not to keep the other stuff on tables as well. Looking forward to trying something else here soon!

Overpriced. The menu sounds great but what you get is awful. Burnt, greasy and often out of certain ingredients. You are given whatever they have on hand. Not worth the money. Big disappointment

I really wanted to like this place, it didn't go as I hoped. I ordered the bacon double, which was pretty good, the waffle fries I ordered on the other hand, not so good. The fries, which were an up-charge, were terrible! Super crispy and no flavor, it was like chewing rocks, it really irritated my gums. In hindsight, I should've just kept the steak fries it originally came with. Oh well. My boss said she really enjoyed breakfast here though, so try it out yourself and see how it is.

I ordered Chicken Alfredo tonight. I had it delivered. It looked very good but after the first bite I had to spit it out. The chicken was raw. I called the restaurant and they said they couldn't do anything about it because I had it delivered. I will not go there again.

Food looks good. Service is not. Seated quickly but tables seated after us served faster and better. Had to flag down another waitress to get water that ours forgot, even though we asked twice. Coffee is fine, no idea on other options since we've yet to receive our order. Not looking for alternative restaurants nearby since we've lost our waitress....

Sort of disappointed in this place. Walked in and tried using the automated hand sanitizer machine only to find that it was completely empty. Employees noticed me trying to get some out (I wanted to make it obviously that they would notice it was empty so I wouldn't have to say anything) but didn't do anything about it. My daughter and I sat down and I ordered the gyro, and she ordered the breakfast burrito. We talked and looked around. Nice place. The kitchen looks great, it looks bright and clean. Our food comes out, and we had a great waitress. My real complaint is the gyro meat looks like it had been shaved a couple hours ago, or maybe it comes in a tin pack from a food supplier. Idk. But it was mega dry, and lacked some real flavor. The burned crispy sections were as hard as a rock. Barely edible. That was a disappointment. I didn't complain and ask for a new one or not want to pay. I did that. And I tipped 25%. Then on the way out, since I was there for 35-40 minutes, I figured someone filled the sanitizer machine. Nope. It was still bone dry on my way out. Not trying to be a complainer, but I was really let down by the experience food wise. But the place is clean, bright, and our waitress was really nice. I'll go back and try this place again at some point. Only giving 3 stars for everything besides the empty sanitizer and super dry gyro meat.

Was disappointed twice eating at this establishment. Had dinner and it was the Mediterranean platter. Was not good! Sorely disappointed especially since I've had real Mediterranean food in Shelby twp and sterling heights. Mediocre food. Visited for breakfast and my eggs, toast and bacon were cold. Hash browns burnt. Yuck! Won't be going back for the third time. Bomb burgers here I come!

The food is awesome here. They really did a nice job remodeling an old Big Boy. I had the Corned Beef Hash and my Mom had the churro French Toast!

Thank you Jeannette the whole experience was fantastic. I was told not to come here. I don't understand why everything was homemade even the pickled onions. It was fresh and absolutely amazing one of the best restaurants I think that i have been to I highly highly recommend it !!!!

I've been here for 2 years and finally tried this place. It's often recommended on local groups and everyone says it's great. It was good, but just good. I will say I did DoorDash, but she got here in less than 10 minutes. My Reuben was soggy and my fries were mushy. I will chalk that up to being delivered. The Reuben still had pretty good flavor. The biggest issue was the cheese curds. They were OBVIOUSLY battered in onion ring batter and even came with complimentary onions. Gross. All of them had a hint of onion flavor. I also feel it's a little overpriced, but everything is right now. I was going to give 3 stars, but didn't since I didn't actually go to the restaurant.

Only been once. Friendly but slow service. Chicken and waffles are fire. Chicken and biscuit was dry as hell though.

We were looking for a good breakfast place while visiting the area. I looked on Yelp and saw Krave had nice reviews so we decided to give it a try. My stepdaughter was on crutches due to a knee surgery and was a bit slow going as we came into the restaurant. We were sweetly greeted by Mary Lou. She asked us if we wanted a booth or table to which we did not have a preference. However, she thought my stepdaughter would be more comfortable at a table. She took us to a table and got the chair adjusted for her and everything. She was the best!!! It was fairly busy but the waitress was still very attentive with taking our orders, making sure we had coffee refills, and anything else we needed. All the waitstaff was working so diligently. Kudos to them!! Our food was delicious. I had a veggie omelette that had fresh vegetables. They were not soggy and the country potatoes were huge. The fresh fruit cup was just that, FRESH. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area! Great food and great people!

Nice updated diner for breakfast, had the chicken and waffles and bacon on the side. Bacon was cooked well and was thick, chicken and waffles were really good, but I wish the chicken was seasoned a lot more (needed more salt). Service was decent and prices were good, I would definitely come back for breakfast again.

Krave is fairly new to the area, and opened just before Michigan's "pause" on indoor dining, so I hadn't had a chance to try it until our staff had lunch together there last week. We were pleasantly surprised by both the great food and the fantastic service! Our server, Brette, was so kind and attentive! Our glasses were always full, and she checked in on us a few times to see if we needed anything. Additionally, she answered our various questions about the menu, which was so helpful! Our table ordered a variety of food, most notably the Steak & Frites, Chicken Schwarma, Pretzel Fries, and Reuben. Not only was the quality top notch, but so was the presentation. I was personally expecting the whole food experience to be similar to Lake Inn, which is not terrible, but not the best meal in Lapeer either. However, looks can be deceiving! My coworkers and I agreed the menu, presentation, and quality here is really on par with E.G. Nick's and Blindfish, which are two of the better restaurants in our community. The diner-esque design and decor of the restaurant definitely doesn't do justice to the great food and service Krave has to offer. I will most certainly be back, and so will our staff! And, a huge thank-you to Brette who ultimately made our experience so great. Phenomenal service is everything when it comes to eating out!

Not anything you'd expect. The food is amazing and very nicely done. Many different options for breakfast and dinner. I got the Churro French Roast and it's delicious. On top of that the employees are very kind and my server was very nice. I recommended Jasmine! Did an amazing job.

Believe it or not, this is some of the best food we've had in Lapeer. The service was awesome, the food was HOT and cooked perfectly. I wish we had come here sooner! Everyone around us loved their meals. Generous portions!

Being a vegetarian is often a challenge when eating out. But I've had some great vegetarian meals but none in recent months unless I'm cooking them myself. I'm convinced the chef never eats their meatless creation and instead just throws a bland salad in a wrap. This place was no exception. The veggie wrap was supposed to have lettuce, hummus, avocado and tabbouleh. What is had was lettuce, parsley, tomato and an avocado slice. It was the most tasteless food I've ever eaten. Chef, please be a little more creative. Add some dressing and mint to your tabbouleh. Don't leave off the hummus since that is the only substantial ingredient to your wrap. How about a slice of cheese or some feta? Being vegetarian usually means people eat dairy. This place gets two stars because it looked clean but the food was a big zero.

This has a fresh menu, and offers dishes that no one else offers in the area! - Great tasting food with a variety menu - Reasonably priced - Excellent service - Family friendly I would strongly recommend it if you would like to try something different and flavorful!

Very good breakfast had a skillet and was very good and a lot of food. Highly recommend this place for breakfast.

Horrible order for lunch and I was so hungry. I order the classic burger. My lettuce was soggy and brown, and my tomatoes were so soggy I couldnt even remove it from the burger. I wish I could add photos. Very disappointing. I could have ate at Mcdonalds for this.

I am seriously thinking that the positive reviews were left by friends, family, and employees. The other thought is that people had Covid and could not actually taste that. I don't think I have ever had such horrible food in my life. Steaks are smothered in some kind of disgusting gravy mess and the mashed potatoes are cold and chunky. Our son was right when he said it reminded him of Kids Cuisine meals he had growing up. He was wondering where his corn and brownie were. Joke is on us for paying $22.00 each for something that left us wanting to vomit. The ONLY redeeming quality was the cleanliness of the restaurant. We are currently in line waiting for McDonald's to try and get the nasty taste out of our mouths.

I feel bad leaving raw reviews like this but it's the experience we had. first, my mom ordered the loaded chicken mac and cheese - it was cold and the noodles were hard. none of it made sense. my husband and I got the chicken shawarma because we are HUGE fans of middle eastern food. they used pulled chicken, which instantly made it not a shawarma. It had fries in it? which also confused me the description wasnt very clear on that part. and it wasn't panini pressed like shawarmas usually are. they packaged our food in cardboard which made the food super soggy. considering it sat at their store for over an hour before door dash collected it. lastly I got cheese cake for dessert. the top of it was thick and hard like it was left in a fridge with out being covered. It tasted like eating a block of cheese cream. It was very salty. Not our fave place we have ate at. And honestly we probably won't go back. But for $56 with what we got ....... Not worth it. I hope other people have a better experience.

Service was horrible. Saw the waitress to place order and 30 minutes later with food which was incorrect and eggs not cooked(runny). $60 for 4 people to eat, really expected much better! Never going baxk!

This is the best food in Lapeer. Much needed new option for this community! Definite upgrade over Hungry Dan's!

Just stopped here for late lunch today with my husband. We had the combo for 2 which was 2 chicken kabobs, 2 Kafta bobs, chicken shawarma, 4 falafel patties, rice, fattoush salad, tabouli, cucumber salad, hummus, garlic spread, and pita. All for $22. The fattoush salad and tabouli were flavorless, the chicken shawarma was dry and cold, the kafta was so salty we couldn't eat it. The chicken kabobs, hummus, garlic spread, falafel patties and pita were good. I didn't have any of the rice but it must have been good since my husband ate it all. There was certainly plenty of food but just disappointed that it wasn't flavorful. Our waitress was very nice and the place is clean.
