Asian Buffets to try in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"As the spelling of Krazy Buffet indicates, this place isn’t trying to be too fancy — and that’s just fine for diners in search of a cheap buffet with plenty of options. This pan-Asian buffet offers up everything from crab legs to steamed barbecue pork buns in a spacious setting. American dishes including pizza and French fries even make an appearance, as they have a habit of doing at inexpensive Asian buffets." - Krista Diamond

I was shocked that there were buffets that have all you can eat sushi & plantains without it costing extra. That's one major difference here than all the previous buffets I've been to in the Midwest. Hopefully it stays this way! The emphasis on pan-asian cuisine is so cool and one of the biggest reasons this location is so popular every weekend. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food one can eat and the service is fast because my water cup was always filled up between plates of food. I love to solo dine and was only able to stay for an hour and a half because there was a big party that needed my table. I highly recommend making a reservation if you're a party over 4 and especially on weekends! That way you won't have to leave your mom or mother-in-law in the car with your pet dog while you dine in here (😅 if you know that reference). I will be visiting again in the future. Instead of going to some of the busy casino & hotel buffets with long lines this is a better alternative for locals, families, and solo diners.

Google
Krazy good value. Most everything is tasty. Plenty of options as you can see in the pictures. The soft-serve ice cream is a very tasty treat to top it off. All for $15 (lunch). Will be back!

I didn’t follow my instinct seeing a 4.0 review rating which told me that this place sucks but I was very hungry. The pictures of the menu showed it at $13.99 that went up to $14.99 and does not include a drink, which is another almost two dollars. This is probably the worst Chinese or any buffet for that matter I’ve ever been to this makes Southpoint and Village pub pricing around $15-$17 a steel for the quality that you’re going to get compared to this place. As part Asian myself, I expected poor service because typically mainland China people are very suppressed types not very service oriented, especially with the western or American style of service that we come to expect wasn’t too surprised. The food was awful. Nothing was good it’s just salty oily, but I expected it and I got exactly what I thought I would and it cost me about $20.

The Krazy Buffet is certainly a great place to eat when you want Asian Buffet food. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. When we arrived, we were given a number, and we had about a 30-minute wait. It was about 103 degrees in Vegas, so the wait outside was very hot. But the line moved quickly. We noticed right away that this was a popular place to eat for the locals, so we knew it would be good. When we were seated there the place was busting with people. Apparently we came when the crab legs were on the Buffet line. Yummy!!!!! The staff couldn't keep up with the demand, as soon as the crab legs were out, they were gone! The restaurant was clean for as much foot traffic was going through. The staff was friendly, and they kept our drinks full. Lots to choose from on the Buffet line. If you went home hungry, it was your fault. There were 8 of us that stuffed face there, we all left full and happy.

Google
Easy parking, not too packed on weekends. Reasonable price for all you can eat. Given the price, the food isn’t the freshest but understandable. I would not touch the oyster with a ten foot pole, I even took photos of them so you guys can see for yourself. It says dinner only but looks like it’s for people who want food poisoning only. Otherwise, crabs are okay, does not taste the freshest and was like over boiled, the other food selections are super salty. I would come back given the price and the food selection but aren’t gonna be on my top 10 buffet visited in Vegas chart. And let’s not even talk about the bathroom. You know how people say you know what the kitchen is like based on the restroom? Well, hopefully it isn’t like the bathroom.

Pretty huge selection of items, and very affordable around $20/person.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Don't get me wrong. It's average but for the price that you pay, it's really not that bad. We went for the weekday lunch which costs $13.99 plus tax and tip (receipt photo attached). Update: 1/28/25 $14.99, photo of all the prices is attached. I think the best part was the baked salmon. My partner loved the fried shrimp. The size of the fried shrimp was shocking. They were really large compared to what i'm used to at most other restaurants. The fruit selection was pretty good and it was sweet and ripe. There was plenty of seating available, but I could see during peak times this place can get packed. The service was very fast. They took away our plates very quickly and we're very attentive. The workers there are very stoic but that's probably a cultural thing. They are all business here. My only complaint is I think the Desserts could have been better. The parking lot was huge and there is wheelchair ramp accessibility. I think this buffet is a really good value if they keep surprise reasonable at the current rates. Definitely come hungry and ready to eat.

Yelp
So good was a Asian buffet girly for years until a friend saw a roach and just immediately stoped going and ended up trying this place with a coworker and let me tell you it's sooo much cheaper and so many good options. The food was so tasty and seasoned to perfection which most buffets lack. But this was perfect. Service is normal. Servers all over the place. Gets filled up a little after 11:30 for lunch rush. But worth it! Ambiance is great reg buffet

Yelp
It's Thursday 6/20/24 at about 3:45pm. I guess it's about change over from lunch to dinner. There were not many people in the restaurant. Some of the food trays were near empty and some of the food seemed like it had been there too long. Not a lot of sushi at this time but the sushi maker was doing his best to catch up. Just an observation. All the servers were wearing uniforms. The two hostesses were not dressed well. See my photo. While here back had a few holes, the front had about 3x as many. It just did not seem like proper dress.

(The only reason I'm giving 3 star is because they have seafood for the price because other stuff are not really edible, otherwise I would've given it a 1 or 0.5)

Yelp
You know it's going to be bad when a "chinese" buffet has mozzarella sticks and pizza......I could go on for days about what's wrong but I'd rather just say : STAY AWAY.
google avatar

jybs g.

Yelp
The food is ok but the restaurant should have a schedule when they will serve it over the weekend. I was expecting weekends seafood and leg crabs will be in the menu and also I was disappointed at the restroom because it seems the restaurant is not a family friendly restaurant, no table changer for toddlers/infants if the family comes with little one. But the servers are very friendly and nice.

Yelp
My husband loves this place, he loves having all you can eat seafood. I personally wish it had more protein & dessert options since its about 20$ each for dinner. For seafood lovers this is a great deal tho! Staff was nice. They let my little sister come inside with us even tho she wasnt going to be eating. Ambiance/indoor dining looks like a typical Asian buffet, see pics below :)
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
Great deal for a buffet, $20 per person for a dinner buffet is unheard of nowadays!! Lunch is even cheaper, like $16 but I don't remember as much selection for lunch, but that was maybe a year or 2 ago. They actually had a decent selection and I'm super picky when it comes to presentation and how the food looks. The place was pretty clean. I must say I tried almost everything. To my surprise, even some of the sushi was pretty good and I really don't have a strong stomach so I usually go for steaming hot items. I mostly enjoyed the clams, skewered chicken, gyoza, and ice cream. The servers were very nice and attentive and they didn't kick us out immediately when we already paid the check and were chit-chatting a bit before leaving. Plenty of parking on the weekday, we went on a Tuesday night, which was not too busy. Enjoy!
google avatar

Raheel K.

Yelp
Food was not bad during dinner time, sushi selection wasn't great but still tasty, and the coconut shrimp was real good

Yelp
I have to admit I was skeptical because of the reviews on Yelp, but I went with my instinct because of the reviews on Instagram. I'm glad I did, it was better than I expected and for the price you can't go wrong. I made reservations for my family of 10 and I'm glad I did because the restaurant did get busy. Servers were on top of it by clearing away our dishes and filling up the food in the buffet especially the crab. I enjoyed the salt and pepper shrimp and deep fried crab. Honestly I didn't waste my time on the other items. I did though try the fried banana, it would have been good with the ice cream. Restaurant was clean. They offer military discount per card holder. I would go back the next time I'm in Vegas.

Yelp
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - we go crazy for Krazy Buffet! Very consistent in quality so we were happy with the delicious food again. Best item is still the salt and pepper shrimp! The sushi were okay but most of them contained cream cheese or pickled radish. I enjoyed the stir-fried clams but depending on where in the batch it is, it could be quite salty. Service: 5/5 - very responsive and attentive. I don't think any empty plate sat for more than a minute or two before they clean it off. Ambiance: 5/5 - very basic restaurant with minimal decorations but the workers keep it really clean despite the amount of traffic the counters get. Value for price: 5/5 - love this place and will definitely come again should the craving hit!

Yelp
Come here, baby You know you drive me up the wall The way you make good on all the nasty tricks you pull Seems like we're making up more than we're making love And it always seems you got something on your mind other than me Girl, you got to change your crazy ways You hear me? ====*======= Soweeee.... I could not resist. IYKYK. Thanks for indulging me on my Homage to Aerosmith. It seemed appropriate for this review. Soooooo.... my cuzzzin was in town with her Hubby and kids in tow. She suggested we meet up for dinner at this locals buffet. She said it was good and family friendly. I thought she was Krazy (pun intended). First thing I noticed as I sat down was there were a lot of families eating together with plenty of aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas from all cultures which just means there is good value here when we see these folks at a restaurant who are more chowhounds than epicureans. The food is good here not good as Bacchanal buffet but considering the prices it's not bad. My cuzzin's kids really enjoyed themselves here and earned their chowhound moniker. If you have kids who are chowhounds bring them here. Personally, I liked their House Beef, Chinese style steamed fish fillet, veggie fried rice, veggie Lo Mein, and Wonton Soup w/o the Wontons. The food here is comparable to Panda Express with lots of more options. This Buffet even has Snow Crab legs (Fri,Sat,Sun). That's just Krazy at $22.99 per person. Only caveat is the crab legs disappears really fast because the aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas are Krazy quick. If you want some crab legs you have to be Krazy quicker like a Ninja. Overall this is a great locals spot for families with kids.

Yelp
Was's my first time at this buffet? And thought it was actually really good. Waited for a few minutes to get a table. But fairly quickly, food was good and service was courteous.

Cheng L.

Yelp
Great food, nice environment, best service.....but no oysters that day, I do not know why. The restaurant is clean and food was tasty

Thomas F.

Yelp
The steamed clams are amazing, crab legs on weekends. Not a bad deal for around $20. Can get busy during dinner time.
google avatar

Kacee B.

Yelp
Came back here to double check my first impression and after I tried Buffet at Asi (BAA) 1. Food selections here are better and there are a few more items here vs BAA). 2. Drinks are separate and not included 3. People aren't as friendly, depends on your waitperson, but they are attentive 3. Their crab wontons are the BEST 4. The soft serve is more creamy and better here. Overall, it's not bad for the price and for that price, it's okay to have some flaws.
google avatar

Maximiliano G.

Yelp
I really love this buffet! It's $15/person for lunch and they have a wide-range of food choices. The place is very clean, the food is tasty, and there is no wait if you come at the right time. Definitely a place that I will continue coming to in the future.
google avatar

Kalani C.

Yelp
Overall the experience was great. I think the price was cheap compared to the variety of food you get to choose from. The servers were nice. Just don't go in there thinking you're going to have a selection of healthy food to select. Most everything taste great. The place is super busy so if you go with a big group you'll be waiting forever to get a table. I went by myself and I was able to get a seat pretty quick.

Kayla D.

Yelp
I used to come here pretty regularly about 10 years ago when I lived closer. I was craving it recently and finally drove up there on a saturday night around 820, they close at 930. it was about half packed, so not too bad! only a few people up at the buffet at a time. we were there until about 850 and nothing ever got refilled. the beef broccoli was gone the whole time, the chicken kabobs weren't on the sticks anymore, it was just pieces left, the orange chicken was mushy and not very good. the white rice was nice and fluffy, ill give them that. otherwise everything was just meh, overall an ok experience. definitely not worth the $22 a person unfortunately. it's really sad because i used to be obsessed with this place! i probably wont return for years and if i do it'll be solo.. i hyped the place up so much to the two friends i brought and i felt so bad! lol
google avatar

Ricky R.

Yelp
I had a taste for crab legs, so I decided to go to the Krazy Buffet on a Saturday evening. I arrived at approximately 7:15 pm, and the place had people standing outside and inside! I walked to the man to the left of the cash register and received a paper with a number. After an approximate 20-minute wait, the man called my number to be seated. Krazy Buffet has an array of food, and at roughly 26.00 for all-you-can-eat and drink, the restaurant provides high value. To my disappointment, the crab legs were super thin and contained dry meat. The crawfish were not good either. I didn't expect the buffet to have king snow crab. However, I hoped the crab legs would be medium-sized. On the bright side, I loved the coconut shrimp, beef, and cheese clams. My waiter was also attentive and kept refilling my sweat tea. Their Sweet tea is not that sweet, so I added sweet and low sugar. I would return to Krazy Buffet. However, if you want crab legs and crawfish, go elsewhere!
google avatar

Darlene G.

Yelp
I love this restaurant The servers are not very friendly, but the food is delicious. Everything is clean and taste so good well worth the price. I think it's under price but don't let them know that cause they might charge us more, especially having all you can eat crab legs and they keep that food coming.
google avatar

Alicia S.

Yelp
I ate mostly fried foods, delish. I liked their pork buns, soft though they had little filling. good service. packed on friday, little to no ambiance. my mom really liked their clams.
google avatar

Myshel R.

Yelp
While in vegas we stopped here because we wanted seafood it was packed on a Sunday but it was fast seating took like 15 min it has good variety of food sushi was really good and service was great very attentive gentleman we has as our server. Very affordable also!
google avatar

Tanya A.

Yelp
No need to spend a fortune for buffets on the strip. Krazy Buffet offers a wide variety food, including snow crab legs, at a MUCH more reasonable price. When my family and I arrived around 1:00pm on a Saturday, there were tons of people waiting around outside. When we checked in, they were on #13 while we were assigned #23. I thought it'd take FOREVER, but the line went MUCH faster than I thought it would. They're so efficient about turning tables, plus there's a ton of tables inside. Don't be discouraged by the long wait! There's no buzzer or text notifications, so make sure someone in your party is around to hear them calling out your number. The buffet options include seafood, sushi, Chinese food, pizza, desserts, fruits, and more. There's even a soft serve machine with vanilla and chocolate options. Drinks are a separate charge. They don't charge you for any leftover food, but they do strongly encourage people to only take what you can eat and eat whatever you take.
google avatar

MarkPooh H.

Yelp
They offer a nice variety of food. Well done and presented. Staff all seem friendly. A good point is that's it's the typical Americanized Chinese buffet. I really enjoy each visit. Prices are reasonable
google avatar

Morgan B.

Yelp
The tables were clean and the staff is constantly coming around to fill drinks and remove dirty dishes from the tables. The resteraunt was quiet for mid week. The seafood is fresh and the hot food is constantly being brought in small batches from the kitchen.
google avatar

Karina T.

Yelp
Super accessible price. Food is really good Shrimp is my favorite plate You have to be patient as it is always packed

Renee P.

Yelp
I have been given rave reviews about this for years and was nearby, so the opportunity finally happened to try it. It was very disappointing. While the people were nice and friendly. And it was clean and as fresh as can be. The Chinese dishes were virtually inedible. Just mangled messes, low quality.. Anything fried was fresh and good. The chicken wings. The sesame balls. The plain white rice was not in a steamer. But just a heating tray and was dried out. I basically ate some chicken wings and the donuts and left. I tasted a bite or two of several things, but most was not even appetizing looking.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -Krazy Buffet here in Vegas is pretty good. -Actually for the value you get ($13.99 weekday lunch) this place is a steal! -I remember eating at Krazy Buffet back in the Bay Area, but it has been a couple decades until now. -Here you'll find a mix of working class families along w/ cost-conscience Asians who enjoy eating good food for cheap. -I liked the variety of seafood they offer during lunch which included Manila clams, brocolli & beef, lot's of shrimp dishes, their whole grilled shrimp w/ head-on is yummy, I also enjoyed their sauteed veggies like green beans & eggplant, plus they have some basic sushi rolls, fruits and a few noodle dishes and soups. -The service is very proficient & friendly, there are no lazy employees here. Overall, this is a really good buffet for the value you get, I would definitely come back here again. It's perfect if you have group of hungry people to feed for a low price.

Blue D.

Yelp
I legitimately thought that nothing could beat the other worst Chinese Buffet experience I had until my family and I went to this one. The chefs seem to be allergic to any seasoning, there was no salt or pepper used on any dishes, nor were they fresh. I was wonderfully surprised that I did not get sick the next day. The service was not that great either, since our drinks did not get refilled once. I was also surprised how busy the place was considering the food quality.
google avatar

Daniella C.

Yelp
Probably one of the best Chinese buffets in Vegas. Their prices are low, food is piping hot, refills are constant & selection is plentiful. We honestly don't have very high expectations for Chinese buffets but Krazy Buffet hits the spot whenever we have that craving. Come hungry & leave full & happy :)
google avatar

Dani D.

Yelp
It's worth the money you're paying for the food. It's always busy so plan your visit ahead.
google avatar

Billy L.

Yelp
The food is not bad. The service is mediocre. We had to flag our server to get refills on our soda. The price is about $20 which is competitive to other buffets. They can accommodate groups. They were about 8 people in our group and they were able to sit us right away. The ambiance is casual. Not my favorite buffet and not my number choice but it is good for its price. They have a lot of options. Not a whole lot of options for desserts.
google avatar

Geoff B.

Yelp
Clean and lots of variety of food, staff is nice and efficient. The food is actually fresh and have many options to choose from. Great place for budget and quality.
google avatar

Helen N.

Yelp
I came there every time I go Vegas, for the price, food is fantastic, love the seafood there, no comment on sushi rolls because this is Chinese buffet Service is good too, they move your dirty plates very very quick

Yelp
Sometimes...ya just get a cravin to go a little KRAZY! When you do...head on over to the KRAZY Buffet on Sahara! Every buffet experience here has been phenomenal...the food, prompt and attentive service by all, the "buzz" created by an ever constant flow of rotating customers. We waited for a table 20 minutes and spoke to a "regular patron" who jokingly told us...."if I'd have known they would be this busy today I wouldn't have come". Yet I can honestly tell you dear Yelp Review Readers...don't let the crowd deter you because in this more or less utilitarian venue, the tables "turn over" quickly. Once seated the KRAZY Buffet is yours to explore, and on this occasion...that's exactly what my goal was. Instead of indulging in my "favorites"...I decided to explore just a "taste" of everything. The ADVENTURE was amazing! I might suggest...you, dear review reader, do the same. The dishes served, that I tried, ranged from good (3/5) to excellent (5/5). There was no offering that I didn't actually care for and questioning all in our dining party, that was the consensus. So...for the food, the value pricing of the buffet and the attentive service (plate clearing, refilling buffet tables with fresh dishes, etc), this venue is definitely a favorite. On this occasion, in this Yelper's opinion...KRAZY Buffet on Sahara Blvd, again, truly earned this "highly recommend - once you try it, you'll be back agin and again" 5 Star review!

Yelp
We ALL enjoyed eating here for the very 1st time & it was worth it,,,I'd recommend this place for family dining cause there's a lot of foods to choose from & desserts will keep the kids happy,,,we ALL be back here to eat cause my family flew in from Hawaii & New Mexico and chose this place because of the price & reviews from other customers eating here,,,Please give it a try for the price & it's All You Can Eat.

Yelp
Have not done a review in a while since Daniel their past & long time manager left. The restaurant is still very well run by the long time owners. Service by wait staff is always very good. Now the food is what we come for! Happy to have the Crab Legs return for dinner time! The Sushi Bar has a good variety of fresh sushi. Each station has a mixture of different foods, just like before, pleased with the freshness , due to fast turnover. The price has gone up to $22.99, as all restaurants have had to do! Still a bargain price for a AYCE buffet , that is better than most in Las Vegas, comparing apples to apples! Will always look forward to coming to this buffet!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Well priced, subpar service, and not clean. The tastes good; similar to most local Chinese takeout restaurants. However, there aren't enough crab legs and crawfish to go around. If you're planning on visiting for either, especially crab legs, prepare to wait at the self serving area to get some before they're all taken. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
google avatar

Gary F.

Yelp
Reasonably good food. Very popular place. A great value. Always eat there when I go to Vegas.
google avatar

Yelp
Lived in Las Vegas and was telling friends that while there that they needed to go there GREAT selection and GREAT price

Jamie W.

Yelp
Came here at 4 on Saturday and we didn't have to wait at all! Great service, shout out to Mike, great server! Food was super fresh and delicious. Everyone was lining up for the crab leg and they kept it coming as quickly as possible!
google avatar

Gabe W.

Yelp
Me and my friend had dinner at the Krazy buffet in Las Vegas and it was really good and they had a big selection of American and Chinese food dishes! The service was great they had waiters coming by our table to check on us! The Ambiance was really nice and they had nice artwork and pictures on the walls and plenty of tables and booths to sit! I would highly recommend eating at the Krazy buffet!!!

Matt G.

Yelp
Food was good for the price, the food was filled every time I got a plate. Pizza was always gone, but I came here for Chinese food. Some of the food was a bit salty but over all it was delicious! Service was the typical no smiling, strictly business, when you have a lot of people in there it's a given. The ambiance was the typical setting, close tables and a small aisle, it was a little warm there so I suggest dress light.
google avatar

Moi M.

Yelp
Went here on my vacation because someone from fb review. Nothing special here its just like any other Buffet menu. Far away from Downtown Vegas. Price is decent.

Richard L.

Yelp
This Chinese Asian buffet has a wide variety of sushi and Chinese food. This is very reasonably priced at about $14 for lunch. I would definitely recommend this place if you're super hungry.
google avatar

Faye I.

Yelp
There are several wonderful buffets in Vegas, but this off strip Asian buffet is one of the best deals. They have Friday night all you can eat crab legs and a pretty decent selection during the week. We actually came here for my birthday this year with a big group of 13. This place is definitely great for large groups, just make sure you make a reservation. We didn't tell the servers it was my birthday, but they figured it out and played the birthday song for me... lol. Service was fast and friendly, prices were reasonable, great selection of food and seafood, simply one of the best buffets in town in my opinion!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
It's not their fault. Since the pandemic and how the local casinos stopped the buffets, this place is so busy. I downright felt like i was dining with strangers. They even brought me into their conversation as we were on top of each other practically. And while they was a wait for others, as i was dining alone and needed a smaller table, I got seated right away. But they are reasonable pricewise. The food is definitely fresh as there are so many people getting food. The shrimp is small but flavorful, the coconut chicken just sweet enough. And gotta love the pancit.
google avatar

Rustin L.

Yelp
It's funny how people perceive Chinese buffets. Most see them as dirty, poor service, average quality. To appreciate what Krazy is, you have to come in with realistic expectations. And if you've been to Chinese buffets before and like them, you should be satisfied with a visit here. Went here on a Sunday around 1pm and it was packed.. like super spreader packed. Fortunately they have anti bacterial dispensers all over. But there were Chinese, Filipino, Mexican, Black... all enjoying this place. Small families and big groups alike. They have a good system and always bringing out trays full of fresh, hot food. Everything is solid, nothing too salty, or too much batter, or too sweet.. good balance in flavors and all of the "spicy" dishes have a respectable amount of heat. Impressively, there wasn't one "bad" item that we sampled. Some of the favorites were the crab, steamed fish, shell on fried shrimp, octopus, spicy chicken and more. At the end of the day, great place to come with family and spend a Sunday afternoon. Lots of choices, a little something for everyone (or a lot) and complete with dessert. Bill for 3 came to an unbelievable $56! We will be coming back!
