The Best Bars on New Orleans’s Bourbon Street | Eater New Orleans

"With bragging rights to the largest covered balcony on Bourbon, Krazy Korner is bead throwing central during Mardi Gras, and sometimes random other times of the year when private parties take over the space. The Day Walkers zydeco band is usually in residence, live music that always gets the crowds dancing." - Beth D’Addono

Cover band was in playing a mix of pop, dad rock and emo bangers. Something for everybody to sing along to. Staff we're great, fast, enthusiastic and encouraging good times. This is the vibe I imagined when I pictured Bourbon Street... except for maybe the band genre... but I liked them!

Google
Love the live music here at the Krazy Korner. We didn't get any drinks, but we stopped in to take a look and to listen to the music. You get ID'd to enter.

Google
Bourbon Street at its finest. 5 Stars for this place. So I’ve been to every bar on this street and I’ve never rated a bar. The reason I’m even taking the time to do this is because I was with a bunch of friends walking on Bourbon and out of the corner of my eye I see a live band rocking it out. And the place was completely empty, so I walked into the back bar Grab three ice cold beers, and sit down at the three chairs a little above the lower floor. Needless to say place filled up instantly after we sat down and the band rocked for at least two hours. The best music on that that strip.Great Bartenders. And that’s a 5 Star Rating.

Google
it was without a doubt one of the best bars I visited on Bourbon st, there was a band playing only good songs, the band was super excited, many beautiful people inside the bar, everyone was excited, good drinks, excellent service, super cozy atmosphere, super well located, I intend to return to New Orleans with my friends and with absolute certainty I will take everyone to know Krazy Korner, who wants to live unforgettable moments in French Quarter, New Orleans, go to this bar. I highly recommend 10/10.

Google
they have daily live music, 2 bars and a patio Entertaining atmosphere, the pricing came from me sitting there for 4 hrs drinking, watching both bands and making connections 😁

Google
This place was fun ! We walked up and down Bourbon street and kept coming back to the Krazy Korner! Saw 2 band in one night here and they were both great. Loved the atmosphere, you can be apart of the action in the bar or on the street . Wide windows open up to the street. Syringe Jell-O shots!

Google
A lively bar and dance floor in the French quarter. Downstairs, there was live music, which was good. It was too much packed. Most of the floor was kinda wet, so we little Slippery in places. There were girls, kinda force to take some test tube shots. They forced my friends, and then asked for 12$! They were forcing me too, I just managed to push them. The bar tender girl was sweet. I ordered a screw diver, which was the worst. It was completely watered down. The upstair lobby was better. It was packed too, however, the DJ was good. The balcony seems interesting, as you can check out people from there. But the security was pushing people away. As they were claiming that they are going to close the balcony. However, they did not. I think it was kinda crowd controlling strategy 🙄

Google
cool bar on bourbon st. guy that works there almost didn't let us in because we were carrying lunch leftovers in a tied bag, but he ultimately let us in when he knew we were there to buy drinks. still didn't appreciate his attitude.

Yelp
In the heart of New Orleans' Bourbon Street, amidst the lively cacophony of music and revelry, there's a place where the spirit of Louisiana comes alive in every note. Welcome to Krazy Korner, the legendary stomping ground of the one and only DayWalkers - a band that's as eclectic and vibrant as the city itself. The DayWalkers aren't just any band; they're a musical force to be reckoned with, blending alternative roots with a progressive mix of Country, Cajun, Zydeco, and all the soulful flavors of Louisiana music. With three dynamic vocalists at the helm, their performances are a whirlwind of musical diversity, vocal harmony, and wacky humor, captivating audiences from near and far. The story of the DayWalkers is one of serendipity and musical destiny. It all began in 2014 when Alex MacDonald and Janson Lohmeyer found themselves playing an impromptu gig in the Crescent City. Their natural chemistry and infectious energy were undeniable, sparking a partnership that would soon take Bourbon Street by storm. Alex MacDonald, a born-and-bred New Orleanian with a bold attitude and unparalleled washboard skills, brings a rich musical heritage to the stage. Son of legendary musicians Leigh "Little Queenie" Harris and Bruce "Weasel" MacDonald, Alex's performances are infused with the spirit of his upbringing, drawing on influences from Cajun, Zydeco, and roots music luminaries. Janson Lohmeyer, hailing from a musical lineage of his own, adds his smooth southern vocals and masterful piano playing to the DayWalkers' signature sound. With a background that includes collaborations with artists like Waylon Thibodeaux and vocal arrangements for choirs across the Gulf Coast, Janson brings a depth of experience and talent to the band's repertoire. Together, Alex and Janson form the core of the DayWalkers, a duo whose musical synergy is nothing short of magical. Their harmonies soar, their melodies enchant, and their onstage banter keeps audiences coming back for more, night after night. In 2016, the DayWalkers released their debut CD, "Americana Mix," a testament to their musical prowess and undeniable chemistry. What started as a humble recording project evolved into a showcase of the band's powerful harmonies, infectious melodies, and irresistible charm. At Krazy Korner, the DayWalkers have found a home like no other. Amidst the neon lights and bustling crowds of Bourbon Street, their music resonates with locals and visitors alike, creating memories that last a lifetime. So, if you're looking for a taste of authentic New Orleans music, look no further than Krazy Korner, where the DayWalkers are always ready to take you on a musical journey through the heart and soul of Louisiana. #lifeafteradulting

Yelp
Love this dive bar on Bourbon Street, only because I love the House band, The Daywalkers that play here and have done so for many years. They play quite a mix of genres, but it's the Zydeco music that stands out, and the Washboard instrument too. The band includes a keyboard player, drummer, a fiddle player too, but no guitar. Their music will make you want to dance or move!

Yelp
Let's call this what it is, folks-it's a bar in the heart of Bourbon Street. I've seen a lot of people complain about the prices, but $15 for a drink was pretty standard all around the French Quarter. Plus, there was no cover to hear the awesome band and we were allowed to sit down with drinks we had purchased at another bar. I've also seen a lot of complaints about shot girls, but I didn't see a single one. The bouncers didn't hassle us, the bartender was quick, and the hurricane I ordered wasn't bad. We heard the band Alterna play and they were great, playing a bunch of 90s alternative hits that had us up singing and dancing with the other patrons. My point is, if you're on Bourbon Street looking for a classy joint with cheap drinks, you're definitely in the wrong place!
google avatar

Claudine R.

Yelp
It's indeed a crazy corner. Stopped here to get a drink and it's $15! Expensive but this is normal on bourbon street. However, the pour was quite generous and there was a band playing with no cover charge! Bartender was great!!
google avatar

Kseniya K.

Yelp
No cover to enjoy the music. Standard alcohol prices, on par with every other bar on Bourbon Street. This place has such great bands playing at every hour of the day & night, so we frequented it daily during our NOLA trip.

Paulina D.

Yelp
Horrible place. I visited here from Florida and two girls jumped me out of nowhere while security was watching and did nothing to help. Thanks for letting a girl get hit and just watch. Do not go to this horrible and scary place
google avatar

Amber-Lyn P.

Yelp
!!!! Beware of the shot girls!!!! I asked how much the shots were and she said $8 a shot. She then gave me and my husband two shots each and charged us $64!!! The music is great and everyone else is great but beware of this scam! It's been happening for years according to these reviews so management must not care‍
google avatar

Cathy L.

Yelp
Go to Krazy Korner to 1) do a little day drinking and 2) see The Daywalkers, one of the best bands I've heard in a long time. Tip the bartender, tip the band, and spread a little Good Karma in NOLA.
google avatar

Alexandria M.

Yelp
Fun joint with great music. Was invited in while admiring from outside even though I hadn't finished my drink which they didn't make me toss it to enter! Bartender Lynn mixed awesome drinks and was friendly. Appreciated that the drinks also didn't break the bank. Good place to enjoy a drink on Bourbon Street and listen to some great tunes. Band ROCKED and we made so many memories and we danced the night away. They were kind and played so many requests but dang, I think there was a divorce party going on since all ladies kept getting requesting was Alanis Morrissette. What an interesting choice for a fun night out. Laughing it off...

Yelp
My friend and I dropped by Krazy Korner Tuesday evening around 11, and it was pretty dead. Only a handful of people were inside. To be fair, most of Bourbon St was pretty dead on a Tuesday evening in February... We were attracted by the live music we heard, which was a band doing rock band covers. The band that night has a QR code you can scan to get a list of songs you can request. We got a rum and coke and a margarita from the bar for $23. Both were decent, with the rum and coke being very strong. We stayed for 20 minutes or so until the cover band called it a night and left.

Ella P.

Yelp
Not sure about the food, drinks are a little pricy BUT they give you your moneys worth. fire vibes. vibes. fire. anyways pretty cool, i'll probably go back. oh also the bartender was an absolute chiller.

Will B.

Yelp
They will force shots on you and charge a ridiculous price, terrible experience would bot come here again

Yelp
Twilight Zone experience... this lace is smack center of Bourbon Street. It doesn't get much more NoLa than this area. I was in the mood for a Sazerac, again, you can't get a more local cocktail. There was a band playing although there wasn't a single patron inside so I decided to be the first. I ask for a Sazerac and the bartender looks at me w a confused face. It was loud so I repeat myself. She points to a bottle of Bombay Sapphire. Once again, I clearly say SA-ZER-AC. She shrugs and hands me a drink menu and sure enough, it does not even have it on the menu. But it has an old fashioned and other popular cocktails. If they don't have them, they don't. But to have a bartender be that clueless was so bizarre.

Brian G.

Yelp
Was waved in by the door man and thought what the hell, let's see what it has to offer. Left about 90 minutes later after some drinks and great entertainment from a fantastic live show (Alterna was the name of the band - they rocked). Fun place.

Sofia S.

Yelp
Came here after a long day of drinking to have fun . The shot girl is literally a robber who should be in jail. Horrible service and customer service. She poured the shots in my mouth when I told her I didn't want them. and then processed to charge me $80. I work in nightlife and I would never have this happen in my workplace. I told her I didn't want a shot 4 times because we didn't want to pay for them and then she said "baby ur good" and then made us pay. $80 later I'm pissed and will never be returning. I respect the hustle but not scamming. I watched them do it to multiple people.

Yelp
This bar was pretty fun. It has a cool balcony on the second floor. The main bar was fun, they have bands that play on stage. It can get interesting for sure!! The space is huge. The bathrooms are tiny and creepy. It must be a very old building. Check it out. It's just a part of the dirty old Bourbon street fun. Go at least once!

Jason M.

Yelp
This place is a joke! My wife got pickpocketed while standing at the bar listening to the band. The manager here could care less. The police could care less. She lost her ID password and bank cards and your phone and her driver's license. They literally said there's nothing they could do and everyone knows this goes on here. Yet no one does anything about it
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
Awesome spot! Been to NOLA innumerable times but never to the krazy Korner specifically. Best spot to throw beads. They sell them there for $10 per packet of a dozen(it was between 10 to 12 beads). The music was great the whole time. Two different DJs and bars for up and downstairs. They clear and clean the patio every 45 minutes to an hour. I don't think the staff was wearing masks but I was. No cover charge, of course. Love love love the Krazy Korner. The bouncer upstairs manning the patio was really nice! Wish I knew his name. The drinks were typical for NOLA. Not sure if they have food. We didn't order any. The other party goers around us were nice/talkative. One group got into a fight and hugged after. Oh alcohol. Lol. This place is huge on both the 1st and the 2nd level but I can tell it gets packed at night. We were there from 5 to 8ish. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Except the floor gets super slippery!! Oh and they get down downstairs. There's no standing around. If you're not dancing....somethings wrong.
google avatar

Lauren F.

Yelp
BOUNCERS ARE SO RUDE! They don't know what out of state IDs look like!! I came here the other night with two of my girl friends we are visiting from out of state and when we went to get in the bouncers confiscated one of my friends ID. When she asked for it back the bouncer (a big guy) cornered us and started yelling at us and shoved my friend. We are going back today to get her ID but after that I'm NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.
google avatar

Beth M.

Yelp
Incredible live music! Went 2 nights in a row to see an amazing cover band that did 80s and 90s music. Bartenders hustled and service was great. Not a lot of seating; mostly standing room, but if you snag a spot you won't want to leave.
google avatar

Cindy W.

Yelp
Stopped in on our bar crawl down Bourbon St, came just as one band ended. There was a guy filling in between sets. He was HILARIOUS and knew the crowd. Sang a lot of classics and would hold out microphone so individual people could sing the next lines into the microphone. His ad-libs and mannerisms were also so krazy. Would 100p come back for him. Bar was definitely crowded, but grateful that bartender saw me and got my order. Got beers at the bar for $9, including tip. Shots girls did come around asking if you wanted shots, but backed off when we indicated we didn't. Bathroom is in way back, and it is so small. Hold your bladder.
google avatar

Armistead J.

Yelp
This place was really live I really enjoyed it and the music and the drinks were absolutely great also the customer service was top notch
google avatar

Hsia F.

Yelp
After THEE LONGEST FLIGHT ever, my girls and I ventured fown to Bourbon around 12:30am to just enjoy what energy we had to spare. We stumbled in here and didn't leave until 5:26am'ish. OMG the music was great, the floors were sticky and it was soooo hot. We had a ball. Shots and awesome company around me we let the FQ welcome us with beads of sweat running down our legs and dancing like no one was watching. Note - If you don't have cash they will charge an addition 1.50 to your credit card tab.
google avatar

Samantha L.

Yelp
Aggressive and unprofessional shot girls. Did NOT take no for an answer, would follow, CHASE, harass and FORCE shots down your throat even when told NO repeatedly. Also over charges you even though clearly shown what the cost is. Physically aggressive bouncer that I witnessed throwing a patron to the ground. Shady and unsafe.
google avatar

Katherine L.

Yelp
Wish I could give this place no star. Like some other reviews said, the shot girls would not take no for an answer. We repeatedly said no but she still forced it down both of our throats as soon as we walked in the bar. VERY overpriced drinks. My boyfriend and I got shots forced down our throats (weren't even strong), then got charged $30 dollars for both. With that money, I could've gotten completely wasted with the amount of alcohol I can get at other places. Very unprofessional and terrible bar.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
The lure of bourbon street pulled myself and my friend in here. I know that bourbon street bars aren't going to be high class joints. I get it. But the test tube shot girl literally just poured shots down our throats before we knew what was happening and it cost $30 but we only had cards. So we all three had to go wait at the bar for the ONE bartender to acknowledge us. The shot girl was very nice but damn she got us. My problem is with the ONE bartender on Halloween night moving at a snails pace like she couldn't give two flying fucks that she were working and didn't seem to want to be there. I wanted to jump back there and help her. It was ridiculous. THERES A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CROWDED BAR AND WAITING FOR DRINKS AND A CROWDED BAR AND WAITING FOR DRINKS BECAUSE THE BARTENDER SUCKS. We were having an absolute blast until we had to literally stop what we were doing to wait for the bartender to come to us to pay for the dumb shots
google avatar

Staci R.

Yelp
Come here for the music when we are in town. Love Zydeco music, it's hit and miss if we get to hear any. Strictly a bar. No food
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Good quality live music. The band played a lot of different type of music. I was surprised that no one checks ID at the door. The girls with shots in test tubes walk around the floor offering to pour shots. They didn't seem that pushy to people, at least not with me, I guess I don't look like that much fun. Two bars downstairs, the first one didn't pay attention to me, but the second bar at the back gave service right away. Drinks prices don't seem too excessive. The bathroom is horrible, imagine rundown alleyway style and cramped. In these situations I think we all appreciate some personal space. Please make your bathroom a bit nicer guys. There is a bathroom attendant expecting a dollar for handing you soap and paper towel. I walked up and down Bourbon st a few times and this seemed to be one of the bars with the most people. The four stars are for the music and overall vibe.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
The drinks are definitely pricey here. I ordered two gin and tonics and I watched the bartender pour doubles (which I didn't ask for) and proceed to charge me for doubles as well. I was a little tipsy at that point so I didn't say anything. The saving grace here is the live music. They have awesome live performers here! Every time I walked by the music was great, and the one night we spent here there was a band with a female lead singer and they sang the best hits. I had a great time here!
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
The bands that play here are phenomenal (i.e. Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers rocked it on Saturday, 7/9) and the happy hour drinks of 3-for-1 are fabulous. The acoustics are really, really something else. Hard to even hear yourself make an order to the bartender. One thing of note: drinks get to be very, very expensive after certain times in the evening. $28 for two mai tais at 10 PM? Yikes!
google avatar

Rocio K.

Yelp
Misleading advertising on the 3 for 1 sign. You do not get 3 drinks, you get 1 drink the size of 3 (supposedly). We got 3 redbull vodkas, thinking it would be the price of 1 drink, we paid $30. The bartender then explained that it was 3 shots for the price of one, but she didn't even put in 3 shots, she put in 2 shots in each. Also, she was mostly paying attention to the men getting drinks and making their drinks before ours even though she had gotten our drink order already. It was a fun bar, but service was not good, there's so many other bars to pick from that will treat you well.
google avatar

Lori B.

Yelp
My favorite spot in New Orleans with my favorite cover band! Drink prices are a little high but the fun atmosphere makes up for that somewhat. I don't know who decided to have the stage built with the pole in the center but that's not anything we can fix! Service can be a little slow when they are busy but their staff works hard to get to everyone as they can. If you are headed to the French Quarter stop in and show the band some love!
google avatar

Jon C.

Yelp
SCAM ALERT! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! As soon as we walked in, the shot girl tried to get us to buy her test tube shots. Even after repeatedly saying no, she proceeded to forced 3 test tubes of "vodka" down the throats of 3 of us. She literally would have poured it on us had we not drunk it. I doubt there was any vodka at all. It tasted like syrup. She then tried to charge us $48. When I asked her how much each one was, she claimed they were $4 each. The last time I checked, $4 x 9 = $36. She then claimed we bought her one, even though there were only 9 drunken vials on the table. We left immediately after this. There are other way better bars and clubs on Bourbon.
google avatar

Kati H.

Yelp
I am writing this review judged solely on the character and integrity of the employees who I saw working there. I was walking past this place last night when I witnessed one Krazy Korner employee throw a cup of clear liquid on a homeless person. This homeless person was sitting peacefully at the corner of this place. The homeless person looked like they were trying to get some rest- not doing anything to anyone! Even after having liquid thrown on them, they did nothing. Three other Krazy Korner employees witnessed this and laughed hysterically. It was completely disgusting and uncalled for. I have never actually been inside this place or received service from them, but after what I saw I never would want to go there anyway.

Kate G.

Yelp
They advertise 2/1 drinks and then when you enter it is only for beer. Music is great, but I tried to speak to a manager and none was available. 50 bucks for 4 drinks during happy hour is ridiculous. Do not go there!!!

Josh Laura C.

Yelp
Horrible service. The bartender upstairs was flat out RUDE. Drinks were ridiculously priced or we were being ripped off by the bartender upstairs. $90 for 3 vodka tonics. Avoid at all cost. Take your money elsewhere.
google avatar

Dena F.

Yelp
This place has, at best, horribly subpar service, overpriced drinks (assuming you even get the drink you asked for...beware, you may ask for premium liquor but actually get well) and at least one bartender who is nothing short of rude and offensive. The music might be good but this is New Orleans - there is awesome music EVERYWHERE! Plenty of other places to spend your money that have great music/drinks and a fun, friendly staff.
google avatar

Larsen B.

Yelp
This place wouldn't let me get in and i'm 21 years old. I even spoke to the manager and she said no. I had my id, debit card, credit card, student id, passport, and birth certificate and they still wouldn't let me in I HATE THIS PLACE. they're so mean and discriminate against women!!!!!!!! no one go here. Even when all your friends are there having so much fun dancing and singing don't go. thank you and goodnight. I don't even want to give this any stars but it's making me give it one.
google avatar

Barb R.

Yelp
We were in New Orleans January 25-27, 2020. Been to Krazy Korner in thee past. Saw Dwayne Dopsie there on our last trip. Love his music and no cover. This is the only place we can find any kind of zydeco musIc. Highly recommend this bar. Only disappointment was they no longer sell t-shirts. I really wanted to replace one I bought years ago. Maybe next time.
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
What a ripoff! The girls here will walk up to you and pour multiple shots down your throat while smiling and laughing, so you assume they're just having fun and giving free shots, and then they bring you a ridiculously high bill. Read the reviews - they do it all the time. Beware of the shot girls. If you're a little tipsy and just having a good time, they'll take advantage of you.
google avatar

Tara J.

Yelp
Bourbon Street is nasty, smelly, and filthy, and I try to avoid it whenever I'm in NOLA. However, there are times I travel with people who are dead-set on going to Bourbon, at least once. This place found us on a weekday night enjoying a classic rock band led by a female singer who was FANTASTIC! She could tear up any Heart song and pretty much any 70s and 80s rock classic! The service at the bar was friendly, but pricing for just beers were pretty inflated. I'd definitely swing in here for the live music, but would skip the drinks next time around...or just limit to one.
google avatar

Doc O.

Yelp
It's a Bourbon Street bar, so, if you go, expect it to be one. An establishment with a quasi interested bartender serving drinks in plastic cups. So why five stars? The music! Great zydeco music in the center of the French Quarter. The band is entertaining, talented, and engaging with their audience. My wife and her friend were invited up on stage to play the "washboard" with the band. They each stole the show but the band did a great job keeping up. If you want to go and have some fun in a nonjudgemental atmosphere, the crowd and the musicians on stage will support you in letting your hair down. We stop in every time we are in from Chicago and we always enjoy the place.
google avatar

Mallory D.

Yelp
Here's what I remember from my brief outing at Krazy Korner, in no particular order: Really fun, talented zydeco band Unbelievably hot guy playing the washboard 2 for 1 beers BIGGEST COCKROACH I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!!! Seriously, we had a great time at Krazy Korner, but that roach will haunt me for the rest of my days. I am actually considering sending Krazy Korner my therapy bills. But, from what I hear enormous roaches are part of the every day tapestry that is NOLA, so it is unfair to give them a review based on that. But seriously, it was huge. Despite this traumatizing event, I would go back. Krazy Korner seems to be one of the few Bourbon Street clubs left sticking to the blues/jazz origins.

Steven T.

Yelp
STAY AWAY! This is easily the worst bar on bourbon street. The shot girls here take advantage of you and hustle you out of money. Last night a shot girl kept insisting we take flavored shots out of these colorful tubes. After forcing it down our throats, she told us it was 4 bucks each. Never coming back again to this place. A scam of a business.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
Been to New Orleans many times but this is one place I wont be back to. I don't know if the bartenders are that crooked or that incompetent. Watch your money closely. Also, they NEED to remove the enforcer from the mens room making sure you tip this mean old man dishing out soap. It was extremely uncomfortable and awkward just to use the rest room with them staring at you or maybe he is just into that stuff.

Jessie A.

Yelp
Very trashy bar that I would NOT recommend going to. My boyfriend and I were dancing to the band minding our own business when a waitress named Nee came up and quite literally forced test tube shots on us. They were disgusting and she charged us $50 and was rude and unprofessional about the whole situation. If a bar has to resort to these types of tactics, it shows you the low class type of establishment that they are. Would recommend checking out Maison Bourbon for a classier and more enjoyable experience!
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
EXCUSE ME WHILE I RATE ZERO STARS HERE. I visited on Mardi Gras weekend.....THEY HAD ONE BARTENDER ALL NIGHT. That makes absolutely no sense and a horrible financial decision. The bartender was absolutely horrible. AGAIN they refused to serve my group a cup of water, which I completely disagree with! The bathrooms only had 1 stall working WITH NO TOILET PAPER but they still had an elderly lady begging for tips for simply handing me paper towels but not filling the toilet paper. PEOPLE CHOOSE ANOTHER BAR. THIS IS TRASH CITY!!!
google avatar

Janelle B.

Yelp
This bar simply has it all. It's a well known hot spot in New Orleans, and it deserves its reputation. For starters, the location! Right on Bourbon street! Center of all the action! If you aren't coming for the bar, then at least come for the street! And out of all the little places along Bourbon, this one definitely holds its own. The thing I really love about this bar, though, is its versatility. It's got so much going on. The first night it was practically a mini-dance club. Lots of the college crowd on their spring break. The music was loud, great choices to get the crowd moving, and everyone was feeling good and getting down. How many bars really successfully get people dancing? It doesn't happen too often, but it happens here. The second night, though, they had a cover band on stage playing old classic hits, and the crowd was entirely different. No more college students, now instead it was the older set, drawn in off the streets by the sounds of their old favorite rock tunes. Instead of dancing, everyone was drinking and enjoying the performance. And it was a long performance - hours later as we walked back the same way we came, that band was still performing! The layout of this bar is great - entrances off two main streets, right on the corner, and just the layout inside with the bar and the stage and the barstools - it's a comfortable, relaxed, let-down-your-hair kind of place to hang out. It's a great place to start when kicking off your night in this wonderful city.

Yelp
Got hustled $32 by the lady carrying shot tubes. Worst experience ever. Never coming back.

Yelp
Krazy Korner!?! Not that Krazy at all! My grandma is more crazy than this place. It's kinda just a normal kind of bar, with live music and all. Good place for people to drink. Nothing really special about, besides me trying out for Girls Gone Wild Spring Break. They didn't take me, cause I was a guy and they were like put your shirt back on. Gees. Lol Anyways here is what the bar has: there is no cover charge, you can honestly bring beer in, beer is cheap at bar, easy access to the balcony. The best thing about the bar is the cover bands that plays music here. Most of them are classic rock or 1980's tunes. The only time it get crazy is during the Spring Break when college students come. Other than that, pretty calm. If you want a bar that's rocking, you might want to head up something else, if you want a semi quiet bar with live music. This is it!
