"We really like Kricket’s cool Soho location, and now this Indian restaurant is opening a fourth spot (they’ve already got outposts in White City and Brixton) in Canary Wharf. All we ask is that they serve their excellent Keralan fried chicken.   " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Visited here at the weekend and I have to say, I'm disappointed it took so long to come! The food was unbelievably good. Literally every dish was beautifully crafted not just in appearance but in the balance of flavours. The Keralan fried chicken was a standout as was the Kebab, one of the best lamb dishes I've had anywhere. The restaurant itself also has a lovely casual feel to it whilst still feeling welcoming and quite reasonably priced as well when I compare to other higher end Indian restaurants in the area. Cannot wait to come back again.

We were sat at the bar which was great as you could see the chefs preparing and grilling everything. The food was surprisingly good given it was dishes I’ve had before but they tasted even better or had a little twist on them. The prawns were probably my favourite as the sauce especially was divine. Everything was delicious, including the drinks (cocktails, soft drinks and the chai at the end) the staff were all really lovely too and we never wanted for anything. The overall vibe of the place was great, cozy and calm but also interesting and fun. Can’t wait to go back!

Our server, Nehal, was so professional and kind. He realized that there wasn’t enough pani for our puri so he went back to ask the kitchen for more. The staff seem very happy and the open kitchen is a great way for the chefs to display their talent. Starters and mains were phenomenal. Every dish was a textural delight. One way ticket to Flavortown. Seasoning was just right and every bite from beginning to end was enjoyable. No notes! We ate and left no crumbs. Starters: Goan croquettes. The butter prawns were sooo good. We ate the shells too. 😅🦐 Mains: Fish curry was a big stand out. Very firm fish. The curry was light, sour and coconut-y. Drinks: salted lime soda was refreshing but the coconut/ginger lassi stood out the most. I can’t remember my life before I had this lassi.

Seven of us visited Kricket recently for the Sunday menu. We ordered two full chickens so eight quarters with the expectation it would come with the same amount of sides as if 8 individuals ordered. However, the food came out and we got one tiny bowl of salad, tiny bowl of sauce and two bowls of rice. For SEVEN people. We asked the waitress and she was a bit defensive but reluctantly brought us out more. We dropped nearly £300 for this meal and it felt like we got ripped off. On top of that in the middle of January there was a breeze from where some kind of internal construction was happening so we were all pretty cold. I will say the food was very very tasty. The dessert was absolutely delicious.

Been wanting to try Kricket for a while and was not disappointed. This branch has an industrially modern chic vibe about it. The DLR does run near it, so you can and feel it when it comes by which does make it a louder atmosphere. I found my friends and I trying to speak louder the across the table because of this. That aside, the food is great. We ordered the Taste of Kricket for £45 pp and it was lots of of food. Nice service too. Would recommend

Always reluctant to bash at the service, but unfortunately the staff requires training, with them seemingly way too nonchalant given the atmosphere and prices on the menu. The food is good and flavourful. However, as agreed with other reviewers, they seem to rip you off with the number of sides you get per order. (With the same number being given despite ordering for 2 or 3 or 4 people). That shahi tukda dessert is a must order! The aesthetic is something out of an Edward Hopper painting. 5 stars for that.

Highly recommended. The food, drinks and service was excellent. Perhaps some traditionalists will not like the modern take on Indian cuisine and that’s ok, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But the most important thing is that the food was excellent, very tasty and cooked perfectly. The small bites and starters were the standouts.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The vibe and atmosphere were good, but the food was okayish, not worth the price they were charging. It's expensive! The food presentation was good as they have modern Indian cuisine ; it tastes like British food more than Indian food. I would suggest they should really stick to India's spices and taste rather than tweaking the recipes as per British pallete, but I guess that's who their target audience is. The staff was courteous and gave us a free dessert for my husband's birthday. Overall, it was average. Won't be visiting again. Sorry!
