Krispy Cones Ice Cream

Buffalo chicken wrap was amazing. The fries & cheese curds were really good too. My friend had the burger & fries which was also really good. My son had icecream with fruity pebbles - he said it was soo good

This was the absolute worst ice-cream we have ever eaten!!!! Every flavor tasted awful, the coconut even tasted toxic with a strong chemical taste. We had to throw everything out. What a waste of time and money.

What a great concept with the (at first glance) amazing playground out back. However, as my granddaughter was playing, it became apparent that the equipment is not well maintained. There are some dangerous issues and someone is going to get injured. The burgers were ordered were very good. The ice cream was good. There were some issues with service and attitude with the employees. Not sure if a manager was present, but it didn't seem like it.

Went there yesterday and it took 40 minutes to get our food. I’ve gone there many times and always liked it. The service and food was not up to par this time, I understand waiting when they’re busy but not when someone comes and orders after us and they got their food first. Also if they’re going to make a patty melt with rye bread then the burger should atleast be big enough(not fat) to fit most of the bread, and when it says with onions it should have them. I’m going to see if it’s worth going there anymore!

This is a fantastic Summer ice cream stand. They have excellent soft serve (or creamies,) hard ice cream, and a whole menu of savory foods as well. The service was friendly and quick and the prices are very reasonable. I look forward to going back!

We stopped here for an ice cream after dinner, and it was the best choice we could have made. The girl at the counter was friendly and very nice. I got a banana split, which was excellent, made just the way I like. My wife got a peanut butter cup "blizzard," which had more cups than any DQ we have gone to. The parking lot is plentiful, and there are loads of picnic tables as well as an indoor screened sitting area. There is also a huge number of playsets for the kids to climb and swing on. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is going to be in the area. I also want to mention they serve food here as well as an extensive menu for ice cream.

The whole family loved it here. We visit every time we're camping up here. I got the pistachio nut ice cream in a waffle cone, and it was delicious. Can't wait to stop by again.

Friendly quick service. Delicious ice cream! We didn't get any food but it smelled good and there was a variety of burgers fries etc. I had an m&m blizzard (I shared a small with my 4yo and there was plenty!) daughter had cherry vanilla with rainbow sprinkles, husband had a swirl with chocolate sprinkles. Everything was good. Then we hit the playground! So many playscapes to choose from the 9yo and 4yo had a blast!! I'd definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Krispy Cones in the heart of the Berkshires is more than just great ice cream options. It's a local feel good stop that offers an assortment of things: hot/cold food, 24+ flavors of ice creams - soft/hard, a playground for children of all ages to sit back and relax while experiencing a taste of something familiar or new. Not being a local, but relaxing to take a hike or ski vacation in the area, this is a true treat to schedule in. On this most recent stop late end of the night stop of mine I was excited to order up some soft vanilla with peanut butter cups in a small cup all whipped up..."Blizzard" or "Friendz" style i suppose some would say. In addition to snatching something similar for my sister in law. Upon returning to my car to eat it since it was sorta chilly, I noted on a turn of the key...no start...Ahhh no way!!?! A dead battery it had to be...so ice cream sitting in the cup holder waiting for me to enjoy i quickly popped the hood to check it out being prepared to call AAA for a jump...but wait...owner of Krispy Cone John to the rescue! He pulled his truck over and whipped out his jumper cables and connected and viola! Thank Goodness it started right up and I knew I could at least get it back to the rental to then decide my options on where I was going to score a new battery locally. Not being from around here, no worries John not only got my car started and stomach filled with great creamy ice cream, but a tip on where to go the next day. All in all a great local business owned and run by a stand up fella that i recommend to all because not only do they have good eats at good prices, but is run by good friendly stand up people who truly care. Thanks again, I will be back again and again for sure, remembering all the epic moments!

Come for the variety and the playground. This is an old time dairy bar with lots of soft serve choices, burgers, fries and the like. The awesome kids playground is almost as good as getting soft serve on a warmer evening.

Great food with great variety and 100 flavors of soft serve! It is our required stop when visiting the Berkshires.

The food was good and there was a lot of variety on the menu. The ice cream was also good with an opportunity to try unique flavors. The playground area could use some attention with some exposed nails and loose structures. The staff were pleasant and provided good customer service.

We were excited to try this place because of the lines when we drive by. They have lines though because the service is very slow. We got a couple burgers, one was missing a top bun, and both were basically burnt and tasteless when it was supposed to be medium. Fries were good, Mac and cheese bites were good, and onion rings were greasy. They didn't put mayo on the burgers, and didn't give me the blue cheese I asked for on the side. Trying to get these and the other half of my bun took about 5 additional minutes waiting at the window. Ordered 2 cokes and watched the girl pour a can of soda into a cup. $3 for a can of soda? No thanks. Came back for the ice cream to see if they could be redeemed after such a bleh lunch. They charge $3.99 for a waffle cone but then its more to add ice cream on to it, very hard to understand all their signs. The Ice Cream itself was delicious, its Gifford brand which they have several other places. The soft serve my friend got she said was also good.

Delicious burger with crispy fries and mayo and ketchup. The vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream was also very icy and delicious. Super fun colored nice picnic tables with umbrellas too. Very friendly staff.

It wouldn't let me check in here because for some reason Yelp has this listed as closed. They're open! I had lunch here on 7/24/20. They have outdoor seating that is distanced and all employees were wearing gloves & masks. Appears all patrons that are not actively eating are also masked up. Such a cute summer spot! I had never stopped here before, and had always thought it was just an ice cream place. But they had a "burgers & fries" flag and I was starving so I stopped. I was totally surprised by the quality of this burger. It was big, it was juicy & delicious. They had a long list of burgers that all sounded good but I am a plain Jane and just got a standard cheeseburger. Highly recommend this place. Restaurant quality burger at a snack stand. I paid $10 for a burger & fries, which might feel tall if you're expecting a cheap snack. This was a proper meal so I'd pay $10 all day. They had lots of snacks on the menu too so I'm sure there's a bunch of cheaper, lighter fair. And ice cream of course. But what a great burger! Will totally stop back next time I'm out in the Berks.

We got the soft serve cones. They have more than 30 different flavors of soft serve. They dispense vanilla or Chocolate soft serve and then remix a flavor in it. I got mint and it was delicious. It was 3.80 for a small cone and a dollar more for medium. Small is plenty. Service was efficient. Delicious

Great variety of flavors. A small soft serve is huge. If you have children, there's a nice playground.

I got a peanut butter cup blizzard and after I was almost done eating, I found a hair at the very bottom of my cup. Safe to say I didn't finish :(

Very nice play area in the back, with a screened in gazebo-house, picnic tables, and multiple pieces of equipment to play on. Which is pretty much the main reason we bumped them up to 3 stars even though the soft-serv was close to inedible. The eggnog was meh, vaguely eggnoggish. The cranberry tasted like nothing, other than maybe a strange plastickly aftertaste. And the cocoanut was so bad we threw it out; it sort of tasted like something crawled up into your radiator and died. Maybe we should have stuck to vanilla, since those mix-flavor soft servs are not exactly made with natural ingredients to begin with, but still. Probably the worst soft-serv ice cream we've had in years. BUT: they have the nice play areas. They can fix the ice cream, maybe.

-Must Go! -Family Fun -Great FOOD as well as Soft Serve! -Inexpensive and Large Portions! It was our first time vacationing in the Greylock/Pittsfield Area, and we happened to pass Krispy Cones. It was the best surprise and experience we had during our vacation. We ended up going 3 times in 5 days! Staff is super friendly and cheerful. Makayla and Tammi were so cool and Makayla let my son make a soft serve ice cream and "sell" it to me! Great experience he truly enjoyed! Special THANK YOU to them! Food is great too! Large selection of burgers and sandwiches before you indulge in their 100 flavors of soft serve! If you like savory over sweet, you must get the FRIED POTATO CHIPS! BONUS: If you have children, they have a large lot next to the Krispy Cones filled with swing sets and a large pirate ship and castle playset that my considered a better attraction than anything else in the area!

We had an awesome experience at Krispy Cones Ice Cream. So many flavors and ice cream variations to choose from and everyone was very pleased with their dessert. We'll definitely go back there when we're back in the area. Highly recommend.

Amazing roadside stop for families. Have an excellent play area for young children with multiple play structures. HUGE portions for all ice cream. The staff went above and beyond to help us out, for which we were very appreciative.

Perfect place for post mini golf lunch. They have an incredibly extensive menu, including ice cream, burgers, chicken wings and milkshakes. I ordered the chicken wings, which were good, but a bit on the salty side. My dining companions had milkshakes (which were supposedly VERY good, just the right consistency) and burgers and fries. The burgers were the nice small ones that I like (I was a bit jealous when I saw them) and the fries were good. There's always a line, but it moves quickly and they call out your order when it's ready on the loudspeaker. There are a lot of brightly coloured picnic tables to enjoy your meal and a good amount of parking space.

I came here during the off-seasons and they were closed, so this is review is not for the ice cream. This is for their playground. If their playground is this awesome, their ice cream must be delicious

Amazing ice cream flavors! It's my goal to try every single one, but so far my favorite is lemon soft serve! The staff are always friendly and their burgers are great too!

I can only leave a review for the shake, as I did not order ice cream. I ordered a large strawberry cheesecake shake . It tasted very bad, almost plastic like. I had wished I tasted it before leaving in the car, as I would have returned it. It could have been the preteen girl who made it or just the bad artificial flavoring. I will stick to real solid ice cream in the future.

We love this place. Always reliable - especially for dessert with the kids. Playground is great. Dinner is also good. It's shack food - but freshly prepared and the people behind the counter are always super friendly. Definitely stop by when nearby. Also worth the drive!

My son is an ice cream fanatic, Went here while I was visiting the area. Loved the fact it displayed so many flavors. The young lady at the counter was very nice. I ordered a medium strawberry cheesecake and my son a soft serve coffee with blue raspberry topping both in a cup. The prices displayed were 2.25 and 2.75 respectively, I knew I would be charged extra for the topping, the cost was 9.47. I questioned about the price because what I was charged wasn't listed ( 3.85 & 4.25) poor girl didn't have an answer she is a seasonal worker. Basically all she could say was the owner raised the prices and must not have changed the sign. Really not acceptable but also she's not the one who didn't change the board. Totally will not be back. BTW cheesecake was great, coffee not good at all.

5 stars for their soft-serve ice cream. They have 100 flavors and the ice cream is not nearly as unhealthy as regular ice cream is. I believe it has 0 fat, 0 cholesterol, and low in calories and it doesn't taste like it. I've gotten many flavors and only 2 of the ones that I tried weren't very flavorful, one of them was English Toffee. My favorites though were Cotton Candy and Bubblegum. Where can you get those flavors, especially in soft-serve?! Other flavors I remember having were Maple, Orange 'n cream, Tropical Sunrise, Butterscotch, Eggnog and a few others I can't remember. They were all delicious and tasted exactly how I'd imagine they would've tasted. The staff is also very friendly and the outdoor area is a really cool place to take your kids or act like one. My dog loves Krispy Kones too.

Sensory overload with all the colorful signs advertising delicious things all over the place! (The real menu, and all 97 flavors of soft serve, are printed on laminated sheets on the posts behind the ordering window.) The wings are worth their repute and everything else is super awesome in a roadside junk food way, my favorite being the corn fritters. I miss them every winter!

Server had an attitude problem. Soft serve tasted watered down. Portion size is small although the product didn't taste good anyways. Avoid. 4-21-2018

Great little shed with outdoor seating right along the road. Soft serve ice cream you can get many different ways. A medium size (pretty large) is $2.50. Got a tasty medium peanut butter cup ice cream dipped in chocolate. Wow! They also have food items.

i love that my uncle owns this. it is so fun in the summer time when we have a lot of family in town and we all gather to krispy cones. Then all the kids get to go in and make their own ice cream. it is also one of the or the best place to get ice cream in pittsfield. i really recomend this place to get a nice soft serve ice cream on a hot summer day.

The food was good, but the ice cream was terrible. The flavors never have any taste. No matter what I get they always taste like vanilla. Plus the portions are really cheap. The large cones are the size of a small and the smalls are like baby cones! They should call it Cheapy Cone instead!

Great roadside stand with delicious, dense and creamy soft serve frozen custard. They offer 96 flavors, mixed to order with a good variety of toppings, along with a dozen or so creative hamburger combos, like Black Forest (horseradish sauce), Ruben (sauerkraut and swiss), etc. There are a few outdoor picnic tables. Lots of locals.

Not great. Ice cream had absolutely no flavor. Don't bother getting a unique flavor because it will just taste like vanilla. It did not satisfy any of us and I definitely do not recommend ever going here. Horrible ice cream and the service was mediocre.

I've enjoyed krispy cone many times, ice cream and their to die for burgers! However last month I sent my fiance to get us some ice cream to go because I was on crutches... he ordered a small and large blizzard...What he brought home, were to large cups barely filled 1/2 way with ice cream and it cost him over $12...???? I asked y he hadn't said something when they handed him the cups...he said there were 3 girls working and the one who was making our ice cream didn't seem to know how to make the blizzards and she seemed to be scrambling. ..even though it wasn't very busy... he was frustrated so he left. Not sure if we'll ever go back...:(

i have stopped at Krispy Cones twice so far and both times i enjoyed the food very much..the first time i had the Fish Sandwich which consisted of two pieces of fresh haddock in a hot dog roll with tarter sauce,an order of sweet Potato fries and a small Vanilla shake..the fish was really good,nice and flaky,the fries were tasty and the shake yum,,the second time-today-7/21/2014- i had the Cheeseburger Deluxe,an order of Onion Rings a a small Peanut Butter milkshake-the burger was well cooked-for the most part as i asked for it well done..,the onion rings were some of the best rings i have had..i went up to the window and asked if they were homemade..she said no-well they certainly tasted like they were....they were"light and juicy" onion rings that melt in your mouth..most rings have a heavy coating..but not these..really good,and the shake was again-YUM:the sequel..lol..!! will be back..as it is on my way to a place i hang out at to get sun..
