Krispy Kreme

We went in to buy a holiday box, and the experience was disappointing from the start. While watching them make donuts, we noticed the wall was dirty and sticky — you couldn’t even touch it without getting stuck. We then waited over 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, and we weren’t the only ones in line. The only employee available was on lunch, and no one else stepped in to help until she returned. When she finally came back, she didn’t seem to know how to ring up our order or what items were included. Once we got home and tried the donuts, the Snoopy donut had no filling at all. For a $25 box, the donuts were cute but honestly not worth it. Very disappointing, and I’m not sure we’d return.

We did a pre-sell fundraiser for our Rotary Club. The donuts were packed and ready-to-go. The manager Eric even helped load them in my vehicle. Great fundraiser, great experience.

My donuts did not have enough glaze on them at all. They didn’t look or taste like the Krispy Kreme I remember…I purchased them from Baton Rouge, La. , Jan. 12, 2026. Is this something new for the new year?!? I hope not. I called the store the next day to speak to a manager. No one answered the phone. Is this a place of business or what?…..I want my money back! (over $17.00 spent)🤨…

Other than possibly NOLA, I guess it’s the last one left in the state. Still, it’s a Krispy Kreme, so they still make them. It’s not in the best part of town, but the building looks new. Google said they open at 6. I arrived at 7:05, and though people were inside, the door was locked. Dude in the car next door said it’ll be another 10 minutes, sooo… ok. 10 minutes later, nothing. Time running out, I tried the drive thru, and with no wait, I got my order away (though as soon as I got it, I had a window knocker asking me for donuts to spare). They tasted like Krispy Kremes.

This location is such a let down. How do you not have ANY plain glazed donuts at 7:30 am on a Sunday morning. nor know when you will have them ready as I was willing to wait.

Asked for 2 crème filled and 4 glazed. Went round and round with the girl what she did have. She seemed stoned. She said she was out of glazed which I pointed to the ones in the display and she said it depends on how many I want (huh?). They weren’t the same donuts taste wise like they used to be and the creme filled hardly had any filling. For $15 I’ll go to Mary Lee.😡

I mean, there's nothing more to say it's Krispy Kreme. The machine that rolls thru the building was still there from the original one, and it can still be seen. The donuts were mouth-watering and hot at the time, perfect day for 2 dozen doughnuts for the family.

I was originally disappointed as this location never has product listed,and wouldn't answer the phone for a simple question about what they have available befpre waiting a trip a 4th time. Im only in town for a little while was hoping to try out the few specialty's they had Cheesecake Apple filled Brownie the cookie and cream filled So I knew what to bulk order for a gathering, Total fail, that and my wallet was skimmed earlier that day so I couldnt even order when I showed up. im changing my raring to a 5 mostly becuase the team is in general not what I expected, they are genuinely great people working here and you can tell they work as a team, so i cant hit them for something out of there control as it can be extremely wasteful making everything on the menu near end of day in this area as you can never tell if it will be busy, ill be back to try again next time. Perhaps they will have these 4 available

I've visited Krispy Kreme four times this past week--each time, hoping to get my hands on lemon-filled donuts. Every single time, I've left disappointed because they didn't have any, even right after opening at 6 a.m. The sweet smell of donut dough and icing that wafts out when they open the drive-thru window is always a nice touch, but the experience quickly goes downhill from there. One employee mentioned their drive-thru doesn't actually open at 6 a.m., even though there's no signage anywhere to inform customers of that. Today was the last straw. I went to pick up donuts for my parents and ordered 3 glazed and 3 lemon-filled. The employee took my order at the speaker, then asked me to repeat it again at the window. I was handed a box and assumed, after all this time, I finally got what I came for. Wrong. Once I got home, I opened the box to find only 3 lemon-filled donuts--no glazed at all. After four failed attempts and poor communication from staff, I'm officially over Krispy Kreme. It's frustrating to keep showing up for something so simple, only to be met with repeated letdowns.

We were so excited to see Krispy Kreme and decided to stop by even though their fresh hot sign was not lit up. We were told there was a 12 minute wait on glazed donuts. We ordered chocolate glazed but was told they only had 11. They were out of mostly everything. It was mid afternoon so I guess they stop making donuts throughout the day. We barely made it out with 12 donuts and they were almost 15.00 a dozen. Sad state of affairs. Might have been better to get them from the grocery store.

The smell of donuts!!! It's a wonderful smell. The inside decor is so cute I could really just sit inside for hours it's very inviting. The cashier was nice and the hot light wasn't on when I arrived but the donuts were fresh and hot. I ate two when I got in the car. Krispy Kreme has been a staple since I was a little kid. I'll definitely come back. I love these donuts!!!

Lordt as I sit stuck in this line that isn't moving I'm reminded of why I don't come to this specific Krispy Kreme. I lived in Atlanta for years and fell in love with the brand. When I heard there was a location in BR, I was super stoked. But then I visited. Man, the hot now sign is rarely ever on. They refuse to sell the advertised specialty donuts in the store and the staff is the poster children for the phrase IDGAF. Donuts new slamming when they hot but when are they ever hot. The light has gone out as I sit here in line typing.

It's Krispy Kreme. Pretty much baked sugar. Who doesn't like that?? Friendly service but do be aware that this is on Plank and the area isn't great depending on time of day. Nice holiday themed decorations and special donuts to match. Can't go wrong!

If you're craving Krispy Kreme donuts, make the drive out to Plank Road or use DoorDash the freshest, melt-in-your-mouth glazed donuts. The ones you get in the store just aren't as fresh as the ones you get right from the source. I recently tried ordering through DoorDash, and it was totally worth it--super quick and saved me time. I definitely recommend just getting the glaze; you can't go wrong with that classic. These donuts aren't cheap, so I'd recommend ordering a half dozen or dozen to make the trip worth it!

The worlds best donuts from Krispy Kreme doughnuts . I crave these donuts chocolate glazed glazed the sprinkle ones the holiday ones the raspberry jelly filled the lemon filled candy cream filled they are all delicious all the flavors they make them a few times every day place just smells of sugar is so tender and delicious you've never had a Krispy Kreme doughnut then you are missing a world of deliciousness they are truly the best donuts on earth.

My boyfriend & I drove out here because i had never been before. We were very excited until the lady at the counter rolled her eyes at our order (which was ONE iced latte & a dozen donuts) and made a rude remark that i even ordered a drink so my bf didn't order one. We didn't even get to finish placing our order because she cut us off and told us our total. Ruined our experience.

We had a great time. Donuts were hot and flavorful. Coffee was fresh hot and deeeelicious. I recommend going during hot light hours for the best experience.

My bf loves the donuts here and I ordered them for breakfast for delivery last week. We got the delivery a little after my requested time but it wasn't that much after. I like filled donuts while he likes the regular. For me, there was not enough filling in the donuts so I would most likely order from somewhere else.

Hadn't been to the new location since the remodel and was wondering if it was still the same and my answer is yes! I was impressed with the Halloween designs but was too much sugar for our group. They were cute and taste great. Can't wait to see what happens for Christmas.

I had visited this location before their remodel and now several times since their remodel. They now have a drive through, which I have never seen empty, it's always coming out of the lot and down the street. The parking lot is tiny and a super big nightmare. Sometimes you can't back out because really long vehicles park on the other side of the lot and you're sandwiched in your tight parking space already. I really like the ability to mobile order, I have found that this is my quickest option most of the time. Now for the actual doughnut, you cannot go wrong with the original glazed. They're fresh, fluffy and delicious. I have gotten the seasonal doughnuts several times and they were disappointing every time, stale old and usually only one of the special flavors is good.

My wife and I went here to take advantage of the 2 for $13 deal that they had sent out via an email and was also posted on their website. We drove around to the drive through window and was told that advertisement was a misprint and that their computer would not accept the coupon code. We tried explaining that the email was sent out this morning, but she was not having anything to do with us. I asked my wife to drive around to the parking lot and to park the car. I pulled out my phone and went to the Krispy Kreme website and ordered the doughnuts. It took the code with no problems. I then walked into the store and picked up 2 dozen doughnuts for $13 plus tax.

My favorite donuts. If the hot sign is on I will stop. I am a classic girl but the blueberry donuts have grew on me a lot.

Love the online ordering! I work near here but live about a half hour away, so when picking up donuts for the work group, KK is a great option. I place my order before leaving the house and it's ready (usually hot and fresh) by the time I arrive. There are some good offers if you're part of the email group too, so I'll usually have a BOGO or similar offer. You can also accumulate rewards. The inside is always clean and although the area of town isn't the best, I've never felt unsafe coming in the morning. We also have come here with our kids after a visit to the BR Zoo. Quality of donuts isn't quite as good as many of the bakeries in town, but the convenience of online ordering is a BIG plus!

The people of baton Rouge were devastated when KK closed down for renovations. I would see a photo update almost every month as the building got remodeled, many anxiously awaiting the reopening. So when they finally reopened, the crowd went wild! Lines stretched down the street, hours and hours of waiting. I didn't go during that time The hype has calmed down a bit, so I went this morning at 9AM. I placed an online order. You can walk up to the door to pick up online and mobile orders now if you prefer. The drive thru only took about 15 minutes. Friendly service and widely loved, yummy donuts. It's the only KK in Baton Rouge, and I highly recommend!

Trash ! Never open for customers late . Need to change hours bc they're definitely not 24/7 this is the only location I've experienced this at .

I'd give it less than 1 star if I could. They have to be the slowest place to get food whether there is 1 person in line or 10. Will take an hour to get anything. The service is even worse. Management should be fired

Who doesn't like Krispy Kreme?! Its a favorite for us. We've been coming since before they tore the old one down. The only negative is that this is the only location in Baton Rouge and it's about an hour drive for us. We come maybe once a month. It's always a good experience. The drive through is always quick and efficient. Hot and fresh donuts every time. We're pretty plain and just get the original. They're delicious. Kids love 'em. You can't go wrong. If you download the app you often times can get BOGO free dozens, or get notified about specials. The coffee is great too. It's not Starbucks but still goes great with the donuts.

Poor service and rude to customer... poor business values will never spend my money there. Employees are ruse and nasty!

Wow, i rarely write a review but this place is a disgrace. Insane long lines, not for a lack of able bodies but out of incompetence. Cashier had trouble with adding up my simple order of 6 donuts. Zero napkins in the place. And then don't plan on bringing kids & expect to wash their sugar filled hands after. Bathrooms that are clearly labeled are locked. When i asked if we could get into the restrooms, the employee said "we don't have any". So no sink - really? Go elsewhere.... We won't be back.

NO CHOCOLATE DONUTS!!! I waited in line and they have NO CHOCOLATE donuts! What a rip off. Every time I take the time to drive here they got nothing I want. But the glazed are still the best in the world but I'm sick of being treated second rate with no chocolate. What a rip off boooooooo KK

This is a forbidden treat , I visit a couple times a year and for the most part they have fresh delicious doughnuts.. The only problem I had was with the seasonal doughnuts I purchased was stale...we still consumed them just a quick nuke helped with the stale situation.

Store hours and 24 hours, I went to the drive-through just before 5 o'clock in the morning and ask for coffee they told me, i'm going to have to brew some.. I said not a problem. She told me she could not hear me, I said I am was happy to wait so she said I had to go through the front doors because it wasn't ready. I replied not a problem parked my car went to the front door and it was locked. Both individuals including the one with the drive-through headset on looked up at me and went back to what they were doing. Wish I could give this negative stars, never had a problem coming here later in the day but apparently Coffee early in the morning isn't some thing they're willing to put any effort into

I was hired there as a driver. I accepted the offer and all. Took and passed my drug screening and background check. I received my copy back over the weekend and then asked the guy who hired me "what should I do now if anything?" He stated he didn't know and later said that they chose someone else. I'm wondering how can you do that when you already had hired me? Then he said it was that my background had flags. I have a copy of my background check from the company that Krispy Kreme used to do my background check and I have not one flag on it and everything passed. So I stated that my background is clear and there's nothing on it. He stated " well good, we still chose someone else!" So not only did I relocate to be closer to a job that I accepted but I was also talked to in an sarcastic unprofessional tone. I've been to the location to speak to someone. The General Manager wasn't there, I tried to contact corporate but it was a struggle to get in touch with them. But I ended up reporting this incident to the customer complaint line and the guy sent my issue over to the correct department. That was days ago. I haven't heard anything back yet but my fingers are crossed. And I also tried to contact all the Krispy Kreme social media platforms about this but I didn't receive a response from Any besides one and I was told that that was just the media side of the business and they couldn't do anything about this issues. I really think this was the worst encounter with being "hired" that I've ever experienced. Respectfully!

It's Krispy Kreme! Who does t love a hot glazed kreme donut? I stopped in one morning to get breakfast for my employee. I needed 6 dozen, the cashier, so kind, let me know that it was cheaper to get 10! 10 dozen donuts cheaper than 6 dozen. Ive been eating donuts for days.

Has to be the slowest drive through in area. The doughnuts are great but the customer service and wait time have ruined a place I've been coming to for nearly 25 years.

We love Krispy Kreme donuts, so much that this is the closest location and it is an hour round trip for us. But, we do it anyway. Today, we wanted to try the Original filled donuts, six chocolate & six vanilla. Believe me, the filling isn't like the pic in the app. The pic shows them cream FILLED. What we got was mayyyybe a small dollop, barely enough for a taste, if we were lucky. The other donuts; 4 Chocolate covered Kreme filled, 2 strawberry topped glazed, 2 lemon filled, 2 blueberry & 2 chocolate covered. The toppings were not consistent, i.e., the blueberry usually has a thin glaze on top, these have a very thick glaze. The sizes are not consistent. A few are probably the size of minis, the others are regular size. The tastes are still great, just a bit disappointed after driving so far.

SLOWWW!!!!! Waited in line for 15 minutes while the one worker taking and filling orders took her time socializing while 10 people were waiting in line. First and last time I will stop at this place.

Guy working the drive through didn't let me finish my order after hearing I wanted a dozen.got the wrong dozen. Lied about not having choColgate milk when I can see it from the window. please move this location somewhere else.

Bad service nothing up that u can buy business doesn't close tell 10 and u have nothing up at six o'clock for customers to buy but the regular glaze doughnuts, were not going to talk about the rude customer service to many youngsters in there with bad attitudes if i could give lower than a one star i would on this one

Quick & friendly staff but sad to say that high crime at newly renovated location caused my family to stop frequenting Krispy Kreme in Baton Rouge. Love love love their donuts but not worth risking our lives. Shooting at drive thru window was end of our lifetime tradition with their delicious fresh hot glazed donuts (best in the world)! Wish they would open in a safer area. Ambiance in lobby very nice. Sure wish I could recommend this location to others but can no longer do so due to safety reasons.

I believe this is the worst Krispy Kreme in the country. The management there sucks, she is so unprofessional! The donuts are fat with small holes now and too much icing. The machine is broken 50% of the time I go there and you don't get the Baker's dozen anymore. I hate Krispy Kreme's now! Oh one more thing I love it young lady rings up my order takes my money and do not change her gloves and prepares is my order,Touching each and everyone of my donuts!

I know, I KNOW. "Unprecedented" times. Just, can we PLEASE dispense with all the overwrought melodrama, please? It's been a year's worth of allegedly "unprecedented", and this is donuts. Put (hot) donuts in the box. Take the money. Done. Question: Why on earth did it take nearly an hour to serve a total of 14 cars? Answer: ONE - count them, ONE - out of at LEAST seven workers present was working the window. With the "hot now" sign on (I guess that was an accident, but that's not my fault.) If we get in line because the light is on, then it's YOUR responsibility to make sure every car gets what they came for. Run out? Send a runner to the EXTREMELY SLOW-MOVING, EXCRUCIATINGLY-LONG line to let them know. Duh. So rude. Manager told me it was more important to load the TRUCK with the HOT DONUTS (going to a store to sit and get cold), than to serve said EXCRUCIATINGLY-LONG line. That is TERRIBLE customer service. In fact, it's no service at all. Thanks for NOTHING. Great way to lose weight - become increasingly"disenfranchised" (pun intended), with "fast" food joints. If you want donuts, don't bother with Krispy Kreme. They're overrated sugary grease bombs anyway. By the WAY, the ONLY reason it didn't take LONGER is because I stood near the window and timed each car. WHILE SCORES OF CUSTOMERS WAITED IN THD LINE, they loaded TWO box trucks FULL of "hot now" donuts. The same ones they had FALSELY ADVERTISED as available, conning us to wait in their insufferable line.

If it's not waiting in a 2 hour line then they are "closed" and the workers can't even tell you why. How do you run out of any type of doughnuts whenever a machine makes them for you. Worst costumer service. Sad to say love this place but i will be taking my business somewhere else! and so will my company !

The customer service here is 0/5 stars. I have never been treated so badly at a fast food chain as I was here. The employee told us they were out of all donuts except glazed and we would have to wait 10 minutes. We said that is fine! We pull up to the window and they actually had glazed donuts the whole time. Great news! So I got my donuts. But the employee who took my order and who handed me my donuts at the window could have actually cared less and treated me with 0 respect or care. Also, I did not feel safe the entire time I was in this neighborhood. Hopefully, they open a safer location soon with kinder staff :)

I been livin round here 30 years. This place look nice and new but dey got hearing problems!!!!, messing my order up, adding donuts and taking away drinks and shxt!!!! I know all about glazed donuts but the dam box gotta be glazed too!!!!! The window was dirty, the box was dirty, hell my card came back dirty. Imma be back though cause don't nobody else make donuts you can inhale.

The line was extremely long which I hope gets better as enthusiasm levels but they try to move customers through as quickly as possible without sacrificing service. There is a five dozen limit per vehicle and after waiting so long, it seemed most were buying at least 2 dozen. The donuts are as good as I remembered and very addictive. I'm thrilled that they have reopened to such great popularity.

The experience I had today with this Krispy Kreme was the worst experience I have EVER had with any service establishment my whole life. Now I'll preface this by saying I work in the service industry, I know what it's like to have bad days and how hard it is to deal with rude customers in a friendly fashion, but me and my friend were NOTHING but nice. We placed an order online, a custom dozen of donuts, almost all glazed, but 3 specialty donuts, and I ordered myself a large hot latte. We go through the drive thru to pick it up because we're on a bit of a time crunch. It takes us FOREVER (a solid 10-15 minutes) just to get to the window. That's fine. Whatever. But we get up to the window and the cashier opens the window and tells us a total. We let her know we have an online order we're picking up, just like we did at the ordering speaker. Honest mistake. She goes to close the window and all we hear is "Y'all got an order for ******?" Okay.. a little concerning that we placed it 45 minutes before and it's not ready yet but okay that's fine. No big deal. Then she comes and opens the window and says that 2 of the 3 specialty donuts I ordered they didn't have. I replaced them with glazed, but was a little upset that I paid an extra $3 just for ONE specialty donut, but it's fine. I understand it happens sometimes. When she gets the donuts, she practically throws them into my friend's hands and then closes the door, without another word after my friend said thank you. We think she's just going to get my coffee at this point since we still haven't gotten it yet, but sure enough a minute later she throws open the window again and says, very rudely, "What y'all waiting on?" I very nicely leaned over my friend and told her that we had a coffee with our order. She slams the door in our faces again. By this point I'm getting pretty upset. I placed the whole order online to make it easier on the workers and yet nothing seems to be coming out right. A minute after she slammed the door, she comes back and asks what kind of latte it was. I very calmly told her that it was a glazed donut flavored one. She slammed the door again and I told my friend that if she came back and asked another question, I was just gonna show her my phone. Sure enough, she comes back again and asks if it's hot, cold, or frozen. I responded that I was just gonna show her my phone and my friend went to hand it to her and she very rudely said "I know what it is. I just need to know if it's hot, cold, or frozen." I had to stop myself from telling her that obviously if she keeps having to come back and ask me about my order that she didn't know and I instead very flatly told her that it was hot. She slams the door shut AGAIN and walks away. Comes back 5 minutes later with my coffee and practically throws that into my friend's hands again, and my friend gave her a very nice "Thank you" even after everything that had transpired during that interaction and she slammed the window shut in his face without another word and we pulled off, incredibly upset about all that had happened. My coffee doesn't even taste right either, and I had paid an extra $2 for add-ins AND it wasn't filled up all the way. Needless to say I don't think we'll be going back to that Krispy Kreme anytime soon.

Bad service and almost a total wait time of one hour for a few doughnuts. We sat in the rain in the DT waiting to order and we weren't even greeted. After a few minutes we said hello to make sure it was working. All the person working the DT said was "can you hold on". After a few more minutes of waiting we were able to order. They were out of half of what is shown on the screen. We then waited behind only one car for over half an hour. I wanted to leave but it's a 30 minute drive to get here and it would have made me feel even more sour about the experience. I grew up in Metairie going to Krispie Kreme often and this location seems to fall very short. At this point it might be fast to drive across the causeway than to go to this location.

Their coffee is bad but like it is a donut shop so its not their specialty. Donuts are good though with they had powdered

Absolutely terrible. I got there at 5:00 in the morning for hot donuts and I got cold donuts there was no regular coffee at 5:00 a.m.!!!!??? This location did not have the vegan donuts that they advertised on TV. This location does not have powdered creamer for people who do not drink milk. I haven't been to Krispy Kreme in years and now I know why! Disappointment all the way around.

The Reese's donut was the best donut ever! I have a bias since I love peanut butter and chocolate, but ofc. I used to hate donuts...never ate em. The only donuts I will eat are from Krispy Kreme
