Krispy Kreme Is Offering a Dozen Glazed Doughnuts for the Price of a Gallon of Gas - Eater Atlanta

"Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen original glazed doughnuts for the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas every Wednesday from April 13 through May 4. The initiative aims to help offset skyrocketing gas prices nationwide, partly due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. The price fluctuates with the national average of gas, which has been between $4.08 and $4.30 per gallon over the past month. Typically, a dozen glazed doughnuts cost around $12 in Atlanta. This promotion is shared on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter." - Beth McKibben

Worst service in the ENTIRE world. The young lady taking orders while you stand in line is shorter than the doughnut case so you can’t hear her. She doesn’t speak up but looks confused when she can’t t hear you. The young lady at the register is short and uninviting. She pushed my coffee across the counter without saying a word. I guess it was for me. They are busy here, but that is no reason to have lackluster customer service. Everyone behind the counter is working at something or with someone. If I ever stop at this location while traveling I will remember to expect subpar customer service. I did hear one employee tell another they needed help with the line because he was stocking. He jumped in and helped get the line down. They work well together, just short with customers it appears. The countertops where customers sit are dirty; full of crumbs and wet spots. I actually think I see hair on the counter; eww.

Rude staff that need to be fired and replaced by people that are well spoken and polite. What a disgraceful representation of this business, this airport and on the world stage, disrespectful of themselves and their country. I was treated POORLY. DISGUSTING!!!! The staff are unkept.

I ordered a caramel coffee (hot) and has this aspect like dirty water . The heater of the machine coffee was broken so I asked some ice to try to safe ……. Was five dollars for “this” and she even put some cream … I have to open the cup and put some cream and off course I finish with my hands all dirty before my flight. Is inefficient and taste horrible for five dollars . I put in thrash. Never ever come back again . This store just sell donuts and coffee , is to much ask some service and product with quality??

Attempted to grab a coffee in between a late flight, with my 2 toddlers, on 8/18/2025. The employee advised the person before me that there was no coffee available. When it was my turn, I asked if they had espresso. She said, "Yes, but I dont feel like making it." I advised her that I actually came for espresso. Her response, " Oh, I'm sorry. I don't feel like making it. It takes forever to reboot and clean." I proceeded to tell her that she was choosing not to make the order, and no apology was necessary. It was such an unfortunate experience. We're all trying to get where we need to go. I understand that your store is closing in 20 minutes but you're there for the customers.

Completely skipped us - TWICE - in favor of someone who cut in line. Said they had whole milk when asked, rang it up, got the milk and it was 2%, then said that was all they had. Case was empty of doughnuts, staff barely able to converse with customers.

This was on the 13th. Not busy. But such a lack of enthusiasm from kid on other side of counter. Just got 2 donuts for a snack because our flight was very soon and everywhere else had huge lines. The donuts are tiny. Like 2/3 the size of a normal one. And I was weirded out they don't take cash. I guess the airport doesn't but seems strange. Don't like the fact that girl seemed sad.

Both a cold brew and caramel latte were too bitter to drink. It tasted like old, burnt coffee.

We come off the escalators and there was a krispy creme stand. Beware, the doughnuts are not made here but delivered in. They were at least one day old. And customer service was there but with a negative attitude.
