Krispy Kreme

I've gone to this location twice in the last 6 months when the hot sign has been on. I prefer them when they are still cooling down. Both times, the staff served me cooled donuts. This time, I asked the staff to serve me donuts off the line, and they rolled their eyes and said they were taken off the line. Even after I opened the box and touched them in front of the staff. The hot sign brings in customers because they want a hot fresh donut, and this location doesn't serve them. Go to the location in Hillside. They serve hot donuts when the hot sign is on.

Staff refused to give me fresh donuts from the belt like they always they do . Ignorant. Possibly racist . Lecturing customers as if it’s first time we order from this place . The lady who served us must had some trauma in the past. She definitely needs some time off like PTO or something. This should help . Parking lot is full while there is no single customer in the store.

The cashier was not overly friendly, she was quite dry in her service. I don’t live close by the store and was super excited to grab donuts for my family. I haven’t had Krispy Kreme in over 5 years however with this lukewarm service I won’t be back for a while.

Its practically empty (from the customer perspective) but the parking lot is usually full. I remember when Krispy Kremes used to be everywhere, now they are becoming more rare. IMHO, I prefer Dunkin over them, but I have been visiting Krispy more because of some value gift cards I get. They do have some nice stuffed donuts, and the glazed are a classic. Pricing and customer service could be better. I had to wait 10+ minutes for someone to finally attend to me. And by the time I was attended the assorted donuts I wanted were out and they refused to make more of it. (My advice go first thing in the morning).

One of the few Krispy Kreme locations actually left. This location is amazing because they actually make the donuts here fresh all day long. Lots of room to sit and have coffee and enjoy also. Highly recommend.

This Krispy Kreme facility is a large production plant for the Chicagoland area. It has an extremely spacious dining room with tables and chairs that I'm guessing are seldomly used because they have a drive thru. On a Wednesday evening the donut display case looked very fresh and appealing with a plethora of options, which on its own was refreshing because I remember it being quite barren and picked over the last time I was here. They had some new premium donuts like Cookie Doughnut and Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake that looked very posh. I noticed all the donuts were of the yeast variety and there were no cake donuts here. The donuts we ordered were okay and nothing incredibly special. The donuts here can be considered pretty overrated if you ask me. If you have kids you can bring them here and they can watch the donuts on the assembly line. Aside from that there isnt much to do here.

This place has a variety of fresh donuts. I loved the glazed donuts which were light, airy, and sweet. I would recommend the glazed donuts and coffee combination, it was the perfect balance. Lastly, they had a lot of parking spaces and friendly staff which made the experience more convenient.

This location has been a favorite place in EG for a while. I just discovered that they run the conveyor in the evening too and they without me even asking got my donuts fresh from the conveyor. The interior is massive. Despite it getting busy there was no feeling of being crowded. It has the openness of a mall food court but in one single restaurant. Their drink selection is impressive, the frozen coolers at their price point are incredibly inexpensive for gourmet ingredients. You will fill up on the drink and a donut or two. The drink itself is pretty rich. Donuts are the same as always. These things eat like cocaine. You will go through a dozen in a day or less. Be careful. Krispy Kreme is definitely an addictive substance.

You can never go wrong with a fresh and classic Krispy Kreme donut. It's the last location in our area, how sad! But worth the trip each time. :) Pulling into the parking lot you can already smell the delicious donuts and when you walk in to see the lines running with rows and rows of them coming out fresh you can't help but get excited when you get a fresh hot glazed donuts. The staff here is super helpful and patient when you're making decisions because they have some seasonal ones, and others that they dont always carry that you have to catch them at just the right time to experience. Overall, we have a great time everytime we're here and of course pick up a dozen for the family too.

We don't have these in the state I live in, so when I'm out traveling, I take a look for this place! This location was easy to find, though slightly off the beaten path. There is plenty of free parking! This location has a lot of seating and was very clean! Staff here were quick, friendly and patient while we decided to what doughnuts we had to try!! The doughnuts were fresh and delicious!! If you are looking to try these doughnuts, or are just looking for a great location(I saw there are others in the area with not so great reviews) this is definitely the location to come to!!

According to the signs from the door to the drive through window states they're supposedly open until 10pm however the workers will close the lobby 30 mins to an hour early so customers don't come in. This hasn't been the first time so they should consider updating their last hour to be at 830 or 9pm if they don't want to stay open until 10pm. Or change the Google hours. Cashier was angry that we even walked into the lobby to let them know we placed an online order.

Wow, I haven't been to Krispy Kreme factory for years and when I stepped in, it brought back lots of memories! I tried the Boston creme and the lemon donuts, both were very soft and lots of fillings unlike the Dunkin! But I think I still like the glazed donut the best! The staff were very helpful and friendly! I couldn't decide what to get but they help me decide the two flavors! The dining area was huge, so definitely you can bring a large group of friends and just hang out, enjoy the donuts and watch how they make them!

This is about the service in the morning. First, they post on their door and on the website that they are open at 6 AM. Not true! Sometimes they don't open the door till 6:30 AM! Second, their parking lot is FULL! I'm not sure if all those cars are the employees but why have a storefront if you're limiting parking... Third, they do not honor coupons. The girl working there on 5.11.25 not only refuse the coupon but also had a smirk about it as if she wants something against me. So weird! I did not buy anything and they seem to be OK with not even having a transaction at all rather than to compromise a deal. In fact, they didn't seem motivated to work the counter at all. If this location is primarily going to be a distribution center, then close down the in-store walk-in service! Do the community a favor and don't fake us out with your false pretense

I'm excited because Krispy Kreme is now running a promotion in which you can get a $1 original glazed dozen with any dozen purchase. It seemed like a decent deal to me. It's also my first time visiting a physical business. I was blown away by how vast and clean the layout is. A glass wall displays the production line of how the donuts are manufactured. Their menu is diverse, with several seasonal items. They offer a variety of appealing beverages such as hot chocolate, espresso, latte, and coffee. When checking out I didn't receive the promo for my 2nd dozen I immediately questioned the cashier the reason I didn't get it because I'm not a reward member. Instead wasting people time I paid the full price. It's my fault for not reading the terms and conditions I tried the donut after getting into my car. The donut is ten times better than the grocery store-bought version. I'd never tasted such a fresh donut before. The texture is delicate, and the glazed icing melts in my tongue. I was sad that I did not receive the promotion, but the donut itself is worth the trip. I need to remind myself to register a free Krispy Kreme reward account.

The doughnuts are good if they have any available. The only good thing they are fresh coming here instead of buying at store. The worst part here is the service. The workers are just standing around by the registers and there attitudes are very poor especially the girls at the counter they look at people up and down. The place is dirty, instead of standing clean up the place and if you hate your job quit. You applied for the job so if you have a shit day don't ruin it for customers who come out there way to purchase and spend money at this location. The manager Jose very nice guy and he busts his back because it seems like he is afraid to give orders. Only thing not to offend Jose your presentation needs to be cleaned up. Horrible experience here every time I come

The space inside is really big, there is ample space to run around even. The ordering was easy as the place was not busy when we went, late afternoon. The donuts are good, fluffy and a nice coating of glaze with a bit of firmness to the bite. Krispy Kreme is always a decent donut, just what you'd expect.

Even though it is still crazy hot outside I am fully embracing the fall vibes and flavors! I still have plenty of time for my apple cider donuts but these were only for limited time so I needed to make sure that I got the pumpkin spice lovers dozen while it was here! We also got three extra maple pecan donuts! Between my family and I we have tried all four and they are delicious! The service was great especially considering that the staff is all relatively young. They have plenty of happy faces waiting to take your order and it was quick, efficient and they do a great job of keeping the interior very clean! Definitely stop in either for a seasonal flavor or for their classics if you're in Elk Grove or anywhere else that they are!

Stopped in for a dozen glazed and delicious as usual they melt in your mouth, wish they were still open 24 hrs like they use to back in the day

Empty place Don't know if they are famous and running Big place. Two employees Boxes are prebuilt, They were out of coffee. So anything you see on menu for coffee is not there. Donuts were tasty. Their hats are cute. Nice ideas.

The coffee is great, and the service is even better! I stopped in to get ground coffee, which is a favorite. The decaf was not on display, but their employee David took the time to look in back and bring it out. The dining area is huge, bright, and really fun because you can watch donuts being made. Enjoy!

Always fresh donuts and plenty of variety. Shop is always clean and it's a huge operation at Elk Grove location. Service is always fast and friendly too. My favorite is the chocolate iced crème filled. Glazed is the best standby!

Doughts that literally disintegrate in your mouth; yes, really, where did it go? These doughts are dangerously good. Buy a dozen and share them or don't. Fresh doughnuts are always the way to go!

No more free glazed doughnut upon ordering anymore! You can tell the company overall isn't doing too well out here--this is a big, empty building for the most part; in its heyday, there were lines and freebies. The doughnuts are still delicious, though.

The drive thru took more than 15 minutes. However, the staff was kind at the window and they gave us three extra doughnuts for the inconvenience. :)

Advertising one dozen for $2. Reality---you must first buy a dozen and then you can buy another dozen for $2. False Advertising krispy kreme!!

This is a go to stop on our road trip! The donuts are fresh and melt in your mouth. Tons of parking, with an easy drive thru option. It's fast and delicious. We wish that there was a Krispy Kreme in Minnesota!

if you want fresh hot off the kitchen doughnut when the light is on visit, this is a main stay of this place. I hope to God they never go out of business. They are so decadent and so delicious especially the plain glazed now my favorite are the loaded ones and they load them the creamy filling with the hot melt in your mouth. Donut thing is so amazing. Get that in a cup of coffee from somewhere else because their coffee is not great it's not Starbucks but it's it's definitely not Dunkin' Donuts either which is awful but they're good. I mean they're really really good and to watch them be made and get drizzled on with their hot glaze is so sexy. I'm sorry, but this is a grown for me. I love Krispy Kreme and if it's a Saturday and they got their deal on, this is the place this is the jam. It's So Good so hit Krispy Kreme. It's done deal

With only 3 locations in Chicagoland (at least there are now 2 more locations than this single location back from maybe 5 years ago), there's a good chance they are not conveniently located but whatever, it's a nice and appreciated perk.

My favorite to go place for the original glazed donut!!!!! If I wanted to, I can finish a whole dozen by myself. (Probably wouldn't be wise, but I'd totally do it!) I was craving for Krispy Kreme donuts and didn't want the ones they have at the grocery store so... what do I do? I drove 30 miles to the nearest Krispy Kreme and let me tell you, it was TOTALLY worth the drive! lol During the pandemic, dining inside was not an option. All chairs were up on the tables. They had hand sanitizers right by the front doors as you walk in and one in the dining area. The floors were clearly marked and spaced out 6 ft apart. The employees there are wearing masks and gloves. Highly suggests you join their mailing list, download their app or follow them on Instagram. They will periodically send out coupons. Deals like $5.99 a dozen original glazed, $6.99 a dozen mixed or BOGO happen a few times a month.

This Krispy Kreme has been a childhood favorite! The donuts are made fresh for the most part. Staff is fairly nice and welcoming. The place is pretty big and roomie. Donuts always taste amazing!

We stopped here on our way out of IL heading for MN. There are no Krispy Kremes in MN anymore. My friend raves about Krispy Kreme and I bought her a dozen glazed. I bought 3 chocolate cream and 9 glazed for the family. I also bought a squishy scented key chain. The smell for 6 hours in the car was too much. I asked my friend if she also wanted the squishy key chain. Luckily she did. I did eat one right away and it was still warm. It's a cool novelty to eat these again. I may freeze some.

Definitely a blast from the past, have not been here in probably a decade. Donuts still disintegrate in your mouth immediately giving you a very nice Rush of sugar to the brain :-)

This place is is a dump now really gone downhill Donuts were STALE at 630 am how do you not have fresh donuts first thing in the morning?? $16 a dozen and I cant get fresh donuts?? Says open at 600 am on google and the sign on the door when get there at 630 door was LOCKED lights are off Go through drive through sign is unreadable because it peeling off No lemon donuts and the donuts did have tasted like they were made ysesterday Done with thhis place could not be more dissapointed

What happened to the great service? Web site and on the door show they open at 6:00 NOT 6:25 NOT Drive through blocked So I had to go to DD and buy the 12 doz I need for work BTW I hate DD but wasn't eating them Even the building looks like a dump. What a shame !

These are my favorite donuts! The original glazed is my go to! They always come warm and so soft. They just melt in your mouth! I really wish there were more locations around. Their prices are decent and the service is great. I'll continue to be a repeated customer!

The donuts are always great and delicious. I only rated it with 1 star because of the delivery option with Door Dash . Wanted to surprise my employees and coworkers . The first break is at 7:30 am. I ordered and the driver left the order on the stair in the Sun when it was 81 degrees " in the Morning ". The order sat outside for over an hour until an employee came to work that morning at 8:30 and asked , " why are there donuts and coffee on the step ". All the driver needed to do is open the door and drop off Food indoors . Absolutely outrageous. It was a large order for my company and Very ,Very Disappointed. Will never ask for delivery again . Just to be clear , the Krispy Donuts are always the best , it's about the delivery option.

This place brings back good memories. Can't go wrong with the classic Krispy Kreme donuts. They have so many options and now a smaller donut version. So good and hits the spot.

Love their original glazed donut. I have to be careful because I can eat a few in one sitting because they're so light and fluffy! My bf always gets a dozen. If you down load their app, you get special offers for buying a dozen too! The line is never too long whenever I go, drive through or going inside. Even when they were giving out free donuts to the front line care workers, I was in and out of there within 5 minutes. Also, thought that was very generous and thoughtful of them. A delight to bring for your co workers, neighbors, family and friends! I wasn't much of a fan of their sweet special coffee drinks. I would get a chunk of sugar through the straw even though I would stir it.

If I could give a 0 I would. 830pm. Website says they close at 10pm. Front door is locked. Drive thru says all they have is strawberry sprinkle and original. I'm out. Now I'm stuck in the drive thru till they finish helping the car in front of me ! Bad Krispie Kreme.

The reason why I'm giving Krispy Kreme 3 stars is not because of the donuts, but the experience I had when I went. I personally love their donuts and would give five stars if I had a great experience there. I went to Krispy Kreme because there was a 2 for $13 dozen deal. I saw the deal online and saw that you didn't need to show anything and didn't need a promo code. I went in and I asked if there was any dozen deal. The worker, Jason, said there was no deal. I told him that I saw online that there was a deal. He said I needed to show him through an email or the app. I showed him the deal I saw online and it said a promo code is not required. Another female worker came and told Jason that this deal works. I saw that there was a barcode on the coupon and I asked Jason if he wanted the barcode. Jason said the pos doesn't have a barcode scanner and said it's useless, but the female worker said there is a barcode scanner and she said it should work. Jason begrudgingly told me to try scanning the barcode and I did and it worked. I had to wait a bit for the donuts (which is not the issue), but throughout my wait I felt really uncomfortable at the unprofessionalism that I witnessed amongst the workers. I'm assuming a lot of the workers are high school students and young but for the sake of the customers, I hope they step it up.

Came in at 925pm. Hour say they close at 10. Walked in and was immediately told lobby is closed. Went through drive thru only to be told no more Halloween Scooby Doo donuts. Tried to call before coming in today and no one answers the phone.

I was so excited when my husband brought me as a surprise to Krispy Kreme after lunch. The one by our house closed down years ago, and I missed the hot, fresh donuts any time I wanted. We ordered 2 original glazed and one blueberry cake donut. I shouldn't have been surprised when I took a bite that it wouldn't be warm and melt-in-your-mouth as I'd remembered, because the "hot donut" light wasn't on outside. I was a little bummed that the glaze wasn't melty and all over my fingers, but they were still good. I miss the old days when that light was on all the time.

Been here twice so far. Once yesterday, and the customer service rep inside was in a hurry and was rude. My husband and I went there at 5pm so not sure who exactly was working the counter. This guy took our donut order, and drinks. He only charged us for one coffee and gave us one but he repeated the order back to us 2-3 times. But husband left it alone because he was already irritated this guy gave us attitude about the donuts. Which he kept getting the order wrong but gave us attitude about. There were about 5-6 guys plus one girl with a green shirt working the counter or back, so not sure how you can get the orders wrong. No one in the drive thru line. With all these employees, the store had SO MANY dirty tables left uncleaned. It was very weird. Someone needs to be in charge! Fast forward to this morning, my husband went this morning at 7am. He got the coffees and dozen donuts. I open it thinking half was original glaze and the other half was pumpkin spice glaze, come to find out they were all original. I want to like this place since it is KRISPY KREME, and it's one mile from our home.. but wow, lack to no service plus crappy ambiance isn't giving me a reason to give this place business. Might as well as take my business elsewhere.

Went in to get my free dozen original krispy Kreme donuts for my birthday reward and ended up ordering another dozen (2 strawberry and kreme, 2 banana pudding, 2 chocolate kreme pie, 2 key lime pie, glazed lemon, 2 chocolate iced custard filled, and a cake batter donut) and 2 of their frozen coffee drinks (vanilla and caramel). Let me tell you, we sat down and had to have a couple before we even left and the strawberry and kreme is sweet and tart, lemon is tart and delicious with some of the best lemon curd filling I've had. My boyfriend really enjoyed his chocolate iced custard filled donut and his chocolate kreme pie donut. The coffee drinks were so so so good!!! They were like frappe drinks, everything was balanced between the coffee taste, the sweetness, just everything. Would definitely recommend!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The interior was clean with hats of every table. Super nice display case for the donuts and you can watch the donuts come off the belt. Supercool! Overall a great experience. Great atmosphere.

Best donuts EVER!!!!! Great service. I really don't understand the low rating. I wish there was KK everywhere instead of DD.

So, if this was like 2010/12 this would be a different review. When Krispy Kreme's were everywhere and it wasn't that hard to find their donuts around. BUT now that they've contracted and this is basically the only location in the Chicago metro area it's definitely being rated higher. Also, during my visit they had the Reese's donuts (the chocolate/peanut butter is better than the PB/chocolate one.) The location here though is HUGE, like a surprising amount of dead space huge. I guess there's a lot of space in front of the registers to accommodate the large crowds, but on a quiet Sunday it seemed needlessly large.

How can one NOT like the best donuts to exist?! Not many locations but luckily the closest one is only about 20 mins away. Spacious and fun to see the donuts being made. When I went today, I got a free sample right away. Ended up buying half a dozen- chocolate glazed, regular glazed, and two Valentine day ones :) Delicious!!! PS... They did not take Discover card

Hours online and on the door say open until 10pm. I drove to this location and at 850 pm it's locked up tight. Not cool . More people closing over an hour early ...
