Westfield Stratford Restaurants: Food at Westfield Stratford City | Eater London

"Usually a non-mention. At Westfield, worth visiting because seeing the small conveyor belt of freshly fried, hot doughnuts, lining up to get covered in sugary glaze, evokes a certain childish delight. Surprisingly good with a coffee." - Shekha Vyas

Staff were really friendly in this branch, and it was nice and tidy. There were a good selection of doughnut options and flavours here. In December, they had the Grinch-themed doughnut for the festive season. My favourites are the salted caramel sensation and a strawberry sundae one.

Google
A very nicely run shop. The owner is a very nice person and generous with the doughnuts. There’s no where to sit, but plenty of donuts. Anyway, with all that sugar, standing is a good idea

Google
Donuts really great! Being a tourist I take a little time to look at what's going on, I passed on May 5 at about 6:30 p.m., very unpleasant saleswoman who does not smile and does not advise customers.

Google
I purchased a too good to go deal. To my bitter surprise, it would have been better to let it go. They give you a sealed box of 6 doughnuts, and then you find they selected the cheapest ones. It was 5 minutes before the shop was closing and they had plenty of the nicer doughnuts left over. Scam.

Google
Shopped from here several times over the years on a Sunday, always been good service. This time a work mate ordered a delivery on line as a birthday treat for us.he ordered a Christmas selection, all very tasty and beautifully presented. Expensive but very tasty..

Google
Came almost before closing, so I didn’t get the donuts I had in mind but I knew that was my own fault. The worker or owner, I’m not sure was very sweet and helpful in helping me pick out from what they had left. Very lovely attitude as well.

Google
Love the donuts. Small shop located a few meters from the Holborn underground station. It serves a very good coffee as well. The staff is extremely friendly.

Yelp
I was surprised to find that Krispy Kreme had made it out to London. The craze has died down in the US and I barely go there anymore. I decided to make a quick stop for nostalgia sake. It was pretty good, I think I will go back in the States as well.

Yelp
This place is located right next store to the tube. Very friendly staff. Place is small but has most of the donuts available. Bought a lemon meringue, biscoff caramel, and nutella donut. All were delicious. The line was fast so I was in and out of there within 5 mins.

Yelp
As expensive as KK is here, I was in heaven with the funky blueberry and strawberry glaze doughnuts. The glaze was tacky and amazing. My only gripe is that I couldn't get more before I left which is more of a personal problem than anything. The cashier, whose name was Santa according to the receipt, was great. We talked about London, college, just about everything before I left. I wish the KK's in the inner city had the real deal KK. You know, with the hot light sign blinking in the window. Hot, fresh doughnuts.

Yelp
This is a small branch in the bustling area of the Holborn. Krispy Kreme holds the UK's most delicious colourful mouth-watering doughnuts that can be eaten morning, noon and night! A box of 12 plain glazed is about £8 and a box of classic assorted will set you back about £10. I have had the pleasure of stuffing my face on numerous amount of occasions due to work colleagues birthday's and my own personal gluttony! New flavours are introduced constantly especially around key times of the year (i.e. valentine's day and Christmas). If you have a sweet tooth this should definitely be on top of your "I need sugar now" list. Enjoy!!!!

Yelp
Krispy Kreme makes me think of one thing and one thing only: Homer Simpson. I have never been crazy about donuts, and I think I am even less crazy about them after having tasted these. There is just something so synthetic about them. The way they disintegrate in your mouth and don't even fill you up, even though you can be sure you are eating something that probably comes up to 1,000 calories a bite, is quite disturbing. Even thought they don't taste that much, they still manage to be sickly, especially the chocolate ones. I could never eat one of these without having a pint of water at a close distance. They're not even that cheap. Blah.

Yelp
As a lover of all things artery-clogging, you can imagine my delight to see that Krispy Kreme is alive and well in the UK. I love the drive-thru stores more because they have those little factory things you can walk by and they give you a free sample when the 'hot now' sign is up.. sigh... but this one does the trick too. It's also notable that they're popping up in Tesco's all over London, making it a bit more convenient than having to run down to the few and far-between shops.

Yelp
If you are addicted to those little doughnuts, then nothing else will do. And you will need to know this place I discovered by accident, tucked away within 1 second of Holborn tube station. KK have just added some new products to their range, which apparently have even more fat and more sugar (is that really possible?). For me KK have the appeal of a fried Mars bar.........but it takes all sorts! Always a winner with guys and girls in the office though; with a few expresso shots, a sure way to keep the team awake - if not healthy.

Yelp
I absolutely love Krispy Kreme donuts. This is a very small store and there isn't a lot of room for people to be waiting. However staff are always friendly and service has been excellent whenever I have visited. Unfortunately as the donuts are not made on the premises they are not always fresh off the production line. Coffee and a donut a great combination for breakfast.

Yelp
Yum. If I want donuts, Krispy Kreme is my first (and perhaps only) stop. Yes, the usual glazed donuts can get boring after a few times and Krispy Kremes are not exactly cheap if compared with the uh stuff you can get at Sainsbury's and the like, but otherwise, there is nothing bad I can say about the donuts there. Drinks there, on the other hand, are average and are nothing to shout about. I usually get my coffee from Starbucks anyway. Krispy Kreme also does promotions for certain events. Examples include the recent Yes We Can promotion in light of Obama's inauguration and the Kredit Krunch promotion in light of well I'm sure you know.

Yelp
You would be silly if you haven't tried one of these and if you haven't yet!??.... I would strongly recommend you too!! They are heaven, they just melt in your mouth whilst eating them you might call me a plain jane but i still think the the orignal glaze are by far the gbest one's!!!! I also believe they have bought out sugar/fat free doughnuts dont no if that is a true fact but if it is i may have to try these ones out to otherwise i will be eating to far to many calories!! But anyway. ENJOY..!!!!

Yelp
When I tasted my first Krispy Kreme it was from this shop, and their help and guidance thus far in finding the one (everyone has their favourite Krispy Kreme, surely?) has been hilarious and fantastic. I have now settled on Chocolate Dream Possibly the most calorific, but certainly the tastiest. The range of treats here vary for every pallet, including plain baked, jam filled, chocolate ringed and more exotic blueberry, mango and cinnamon. They have a limited edition chocolate range which is to die for, and I find this particular store always has the multi boxes left which is handy, as most others seem to sell out very quick.

Yelp
It was so dangerous when I worked near this place and a dozen or so of these glazed rings of deliciousness would be brought in pretty routinely brought in for someone's last day/ birthday/ start of the weekend/ someone was walking past the shop on their way from the tube. There is a real danger of becoming a serious fatty when you're offered one of these practically daily. But it was so exciting when Krispy Kreme first came to England and when this first standalone outlet opened and I still think they're totally delicious and a massive treat. The only thing they've lost is a little of the American exoticism they once had.

Qype User (nori…)

Yelp
I have to say that I think Krispy Kreme doughnuts are extremely overrates. The plain glazed are so so unbearably sweet that they actually hurt your teeth - and I like sweet things! The filled doughnits actually aren't too bad but they're still really expensive for what they are..
google avatar

Qype User (Superk…)

Yelp
I love Krispy Kreme donuts, but what lets this place down is the staff. The donuts are not produced on site, so they often run out of the more popular flavours. I don't think they are as fresh either. The staff are not friendly, they just serve you with a bit of attitude. Ok if you just want to grab a donut to take away.

Yelp
Yum Yum Krispy Kreme, these doughnuts are gorgeous and so addictive! And soooo bad for you, but let's not think about that too much! I'd only seen the Krispy Kreme stalls before so was excited to see a shop :) Although there doesn't seem much need for it to be a shop, as it is no bigger than all the stalls they have. Oh well,as long as you can buy the doughnuts, I aint gonna complain!
google avatar

Qype User (savo1…)

Yelp
Luv this place as i could personal eat a whole tray of these delicious Doughnuts that are so morerish. so thumbs up to the best doughnut shop in the country

Yelp
Who doesnt like Krispy Kremes. So so yummy and so much choice. They are very expensive for what it is - considering you could buy a pack of donuts in a supermarket for a lot less. You do get lots of choice though and for a one off its worth it for that little treat.
google avatar

Qype User (alcoho…)

Yelp
Love their doughnuts though I was surprised to see a retail unit dedicated to Krispy Kreme, considering there wasn't really anything extra or special there that isn't at any of their stalls. I actually started here after getting a voucher for a free doughnut, it's a bit like an addiction as they're so nice! I don't buy very often, not because of calories but due to the price

Qype User (missFr…)

Yelp
Delicious donuts and sweet treats at reasonable prices. They leave your mouth watering for more.

Qype User (browa3…)

Yelp
Nice shop, rather then stall. Same high quality food, and good staff. Excellent, will go back.

Yelp
UK prices are really high compared to the US, yes their will be lots reasons for this I understand that, however KFC and subways and Starbucks etc make sure the prices are more in-line with the USA pricing but Krispy Kreme are 60%higher in the UK then the USA, I think for krispy kreme to do well in UK market and become mainstream they need to drop their prices.
