Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme donuts? 10/10 — they practically dissolve in your mouth and make you question every other donut you’ve ever had. But the prices? Let’s just say my wallet felt robbed without a mask. And the atmosphere… well, it’s less “cozy café” and more “grab it and go before you overstay your welcome.” I’ll be back for the donuts, but I’m not lingering for the charm.

Location was clean, staff was nice. The option for a discounted box of a half dozen donuts is only available if you order online. If you try to get a half dozen in the store they will charge you for six individual donuts. Absolute clown shoes behavior.

Located behind the Home Depot, walking into a Krispy Kreme is always worth it. This location smells heavenly, the customer service is fast and friendly, and the dine-in area is very welcoming and clean. I enjoy they have seating next to the donut production line where you can watch the donuts come through on the conveyer belt. The only trouble I had was not being able to scan my rewards barcode, but this was quickly fixed with using my phone number. You can a free donut with any purchase upon signing up for rewards so certainly worth getting the phone app.

Pulled up to the drive thru and didn't get a real person, the ordering software they had didn't understand what we wanted so we went inside, there were 2 other people in the store waiting and after they had left it took us probably 3-5 minutes for someone to even come out front even though it didn't look like anything was being done in the back. The lady that was helping us seemed confused on what we wanted even though I'd told her and pointed at the advertisement on the screen behind her and at that point i was ready to just leave. The store was empty and looked like it was more being used for storage than for making anything, Krispy Kreme used to be my go to place for donuts but I will now be going elsewhere.

I was so happy when Krispy Kreme decided to expand to Washington. I had my first Krispy Kreme donut in the early 70's in Biloxi, Mississippi!! Anyway, they're still so darn good! Especially if you happen to go there early when they're still warm.. oh my!! There is just something so comforting about a good donut.. Krispy Kreme donuts delivers every time!! It's nice to go into a donut shop and see all the trays full of tasty treats. Their shops are always so clean and tidy which is a plus for me! This particular shop is in a crummy location unfortunately. You have to contend with Home Depot customers.. it's just a bit confusing.. but I'll fight my way through a busy parking lot for a KK donut! No problem. They're really fabulous!!

I went online and placed an order for pick up and when I got there, the drinks were not made, which was not a problem. I appreciated them, not melting or being hot, however, when I got the drinks - three of their specialty limited time drinks, they were iced, but had barely ice in them and were already melted, it did not have the described toppings and part of the whole point of buying the specialty drink was for all of the additional stuff. So I wasted money on icky room temperature sad drinks. I didn’t realize this until I Was on my way home. I tried to call Krispy Kreme directly - The local restaurant where I purchased and they did not answer the phone. So I’m making this review. I have not tried any of the donuts yet, fingers crossed is much better than the drink that I came all the way down specifically for. UPDATE: OK, it explains everything in my breakdown, but This one is on me. They don’t have oat milk, which they have on the app but when I got to the store, they said 2% and I was OK with that so that was my agree to it. So I don’t think it’s the 2% milk because I don’t have a problem with milk, but maybe it was the weird temperature, but anyway, or it could just be me, but I have only had the coffee, the stupid specialty coffee that I drove all the way there and didn’t get it - The way it is advertised, is now making me sick to my stomach.🤢

Call ahead as I drove 20 minutes and they were sold out of the harry potter doughnuts. They had the lobby closed and drive thru was only open. But I didnt know they switched to AI for the drive thru and I couldn't get it to understand if it was doing the free Harry potter promo. A person had to override it and then tell me they were sold out. Probably didnt have enough employees. Really wish I could have had it.
