We came to Krob Kreung Krob Ros on Saturday night with a group of 8 and were absolutely blown away. We were seated right around happy hour, and the host was incredibly accommodating and warm, making sure we were well taken care of from the moment we walked in.
We kicked off the evening with a wide spread of small plates to share. Highlights included:
* Pik Kai Tod Kra Thiam - garlicky, crispy wings that disappeared fast
* Kanom Jeeb - juicy dumplings with a super flavorful dipping sauce
* Tod Mun Hua Plee - banana blossom fritters that were crispy, golden perfection
* Po Pia (spring rolls) and Shrimp Phra - delicious, fresh, and full of texture
* Moo Sam Chan Tod - crispy pork belly with bold Thai seasoning
For mains, the dishes just kept impressing:
* Kao Hor Bai Bua Siam - lotus-wrapped rice, aromatic and beautifully presented
* Pla Neung See Ew - steamed branzino that was melt-in-your-mouth good
* Tofu Pad Thai and Shrimp Pad See Ew - classic, flavorful, and comforting
* Ped Makham - the duck in tamarind sauce was rich and well-balanced
And don't skip dessert! The Khanom Mo Kaeng (taro cake) was an absolute standout--smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. We also grabbed Sticky Rice with Mango.
The space is warm and cozy, perfect for groups or date nights. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and food came out at a perfect pace. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, plated beautifully, and full of authentic Thai flavor with creative twists.
This place is a gem. Already planning our next visit!
