This store has racist employees. My wife, child, and I were discriminated against and treated badly by the woman who works at the self-checkout near the door.
One day, when the store was nearly empty, we were the only ones at the checkout. Despite being just a few feet away and clearly seeing us, the woman ignored us multiple times. My wife eventually approached her for help, but she dismissed her.
As we were leaving, she stopped us and accused us of stealing a piece of fruit. This fruit was from a stand labeled "Free for Kids." We explained this to her, but she replied, "You folks have taken more than enough," and took the fruit from our 2-year-old child's hand. One pear. We were shocked and surprised. It became clear that her behavior was because we were not speaking English among ourselves.
I reported this incident to Dillon, but all I received was a customer service response thanking me for contacting them and saying they would look into it. That's it.
This place does not care about its customers and hires racist individuals. Be careful if you are a minority, a person of color, or speak more than one language.
Disgusting and utterly disturbing. Shame on you.
