Highlights

This large supermarket chain offers a variety of deli and bakery options, alongside health and beauty products, but service has seen better days.

The worst run Kroger you will ever visit. We don’t have a lot of close by options so we go back even though we should know better. Make sure you check the expiration dates on everything you buy. Tonight the line for the self check out had over 20 people in it.

Hi Kroger, this store has been turning customers away about 15 minutes before the posted closing time. If the hours have changed, please update them online. If not, this location may need a reminder to follow the listed schedule — it’s frustrating to arrive and be told you’re closed early. For anyone else who’s experienced this, consider suggesting an edit to the hours so they better reflect what’s actually happening — either Kroger updates them officially, or the practice gets corrected.

This is my store, I'm in it several times a week. Call and get your Kroger Coupons mailed, I saved a dollar on sugar cookies with m&m, paid .83 cents. They always have something on sale and try the sushi, it's pretty good, but I wish they would get better packaging. My sushi always slides and doesn't look as pretty as it did in store.

It’s so uncomfortable to buy groceries for the week with only self checkout lines open. I feel like people go into the grocery store now and buy the minimal amount of items because they have to scan, bag, and spread them out in the smallest little area. When there’s a line open, I will opt for that because I usually have a large amount of groceries! There have been so many times where as I’m getting ready to get my items scanned the bagger will just walk away. So an employee is scanning my items and not being bagged. I pay for my items and then just stand there waiting for them to be bagged, it’s so uncomfortable that I’ve just started bagging them myself. Their employees just standing around everywhere in the front area.

I don't know how they do it, but the prices for seafood and meat on sale weekly are fantastic! There is a huge selection, and the guys who work in the meat market are super friendly and nice. I don't shop here often since we normally purchase large quantities, but when I do, I have yet to have a bad experience!

I arrived at this Kroger (Oak Lawn & Cedar Springs, Dallas) at 10:44 p.m. — well before the posted closing time of 11:00 p.m. — and was told the store was already closed. Yet, there were still customers inside. The staff member’s response was curt and unhelpful. So I left and went to Tom Thumb, which also closes at 11:00 p.m. I arrived there at 10:51 p.m., and you know what? I was received with a nice “Welcome to Tom Thumb.” Completely different energy and respect. Why is Kroger turning away customers before closing time, while others treat people properly and honor their posted hours? I’d appreciate a response from management.

Whats wrong with this kroger? Hiring employees with the worst attitude ever! Yes I understand they have to ask for my ID and I gave it to the employee but since when do I have to enter my info and scan it. Isnt that the employee's job to verify? And plus why take it away in a bad attitude? Its always the african american employees working there! Do something about it! Its not the first time this happpens! Ive also seen employees fighting with customers and yelling at eachother in front of everyone. Is this GOOD customer service? Is this the impression they want to give?

I shop here all the time because I live close to this Kroger. I’m getting tired of some of store associates here that are outright rude and disrespectful. I am a person of color too (though Im not African American) and frankly, it feels like there may be some racism involved as well because of the way I’m treated when I treat everyone I encounter with kindness and respect. Kroger, please stop hiring store associates that think they can treat people this way for absolutely no reason!!!!
