Kroger

This Kroger is absolutely disgusting. Their produce is always in terrible condition, their meat counter stinks… And their employees stand outside at the front of their store and smoke cigarettes all day long… Particularly today the butcher is standing outside, smoking with his Professional chefs coat on which happens to have blood from the meat on it… Just doesn’t seem very sanitary?? Such a disappointment.

Stopped in on my way to work at 7:30 a.m. and used the self checkout. After completing the transaction I noticed 2 items rang up incorrectly. I was told they could not fix it or issue a refund because customer service didn't open until 8a.m. and I would just have to wait 30 mins get my money back. That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard! Worst Kroger ever...for so many reasons. Enter with caution!

Today around 4:00 p.m. a full-grown roach crawled across the top of the self check I was using. Anyone that knows roaches knows, when they surface in light, you have a big problem. Also the bottle machines stay broken like they're above returned bottles.

Have to pay for parking. Machine does not accept card for shortest length of parking, hassle to get change inside. Ridiculous, would not recommend.

Mom got a ticket parking here this month of March, 2025. I do rideshare and dodged a bullet parking here for short stops unawares to me. This is a scumbag's policy! Don't care how wealthy the residents here are. Paying to park at a grocery store is sheer greed of this city's governance. But on the flipside, this Kroger on the inside is clean and pleasant looking as any other Kroger. The male restroom is clean and well maintained. Other than the parking problem. This Kroger is a five star by itself. But because of having to pay to park. All those stars are drained!

Parking enforcement must literally be staking out this lot. Yes, I took a chance. Was in the store just long enough to get a tkt. I haven't been here in yrs; I guess I now remember why. Limited stock & what's with the fish smell??? I must remember not to shop here. And shame on the municipality of Grosse Pt(s).; this is their money grab. GP has always been suspect for "hanging out". Ill intent by the powers that be... 😝Gross!

The people are the check out were kind of rude. There was an issue with a price and the person there was very condescending talking down to me as if I was stupid and didn't understand. Their price signs didn't match the actual price. Just a weird experience. Also you have to pay for parking, it's disorganized. Not going back.
