Kroger Workers Will Protest In Houston For Pandemic Hazard Pay | Eater Houston

"Employees and supporters will hold a rally at the store from 4–7 p.m. to demand restoration of the $2-per-hour hazard pay instituted at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 445 and allies including the Democratic Socialists of Houston say a one-time “thank you” bonus offered in response to backlash is insufficient as the pandemic continues into its seventh month. Protesters also point to recent company moves — ending the union’s healthcare plan, reducing full-time positions, and capping part-time vacation allotments — as additional reasons for the demonstration. The action comes amid broader local labor unrest, following a hospitality-union protest ten days earlier and about a month after expanded unemployment benefits expired." - Brittanie Shey

Walmart cucumbers are better than this and last longer - Found chicken salad. Bought it only to find it was expired - purchased $7.99 Bought it again Thursday. Can the grapes and chicken be cut up? Yikes. Be sure to check dates people.

It's wrong that employees keep buying Pokemon cards and not letting customers buy. They should have a limit

Fantastic Kroger experience. Clean, organized, friendly staff, extraordinary selection, and felt like neighborhood shopping. Found some great deals and B was able to have an enjoyable grocery experience. Would definitely return to shop here again!

I needed just a few things for my work lunches, I was in and out in a short time. Beautiful Orchids, but the color has been dyed to have the deep turquoise, pink and purple. But they are still pretty.

Terrible customer service at this Kroger. I went to return a pet collar for $7, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. First, the rep, Felicia, took forever to even acknowledge me. She was just standing there, clearly not in a hurry to help. When she finally did, she processed my return without even asking how I wanted the refund and automatically gave me store credit. I told her I wanted it back on my card, and she asked if I had the card. I explained that I paid with Apple Wallet, which is how I originally made the purchase. She immediately said no, even though plenty of other stores allow refunds through tap, and the terminal at her register had the tap option. She didn’t even try—just had an attitude like she didn’t want to be there. Now I’m stuck with a useless $7 Kroger gift card. What am I even supposed to do with that? A simple return turned into an unnecessary hassle because of her laziness and poor customer service. Do better, Kroger.

I went to get gas. I gave the lady a $50 bill and ask for 30 of gas And she said that they have a store policy of not accept large bills . I asked!! $50 is A large bill for a $30 of gas?? My change would be just $20 How is that a large bill. She stated that it was a store policy and she didn’t took my money bill. And i was in serious need of gas. Good store but bad costumer service.
