"Sprawling Nashville suburb Bellevue has not escaped the wild west of the Nashville restaurant scene it seems, as anonymous tips revealed that family-friendly pub {PUB}licity in Bellevue will close after service this weekend, on Sunday, September 30. Multiple sources reported that the Bellevue-based pub cancelled a television segment appearance earlier this month, and another tipster confirmed that the restaurant will shutter this weekend after Sunday night service. The pub serves locally-sourced pub fare and local microbrews. It’s located in the heart of Bellevue, at the intersection of Hwy. 70S and Old Hickory Blvd. in the Kroger Shopping Center. {PUB}licity opened back in 2012. Eater reached out last week to the restaurant for comment, and will update with information as it’s received. No word yet on if the owners plan to open something else, or on what might replace {PUB}licity, but fingers crossed for no curly brackets next time around." - Delia Jo Ramsey

How is this ok, Kroger? I love dogs but do I want them where I put my food? No.

I am not sure who the manager with the "handle bar mustache" is, but he is in serious need of some training. I live nearby and am in there almost everyday. He is rude and abusive to both employees and customers. He is definitely not Publix material. Perhaps Walmart....nope, not even Walmart. Not a nice guy......

Google
Don't go here if you're in a hurry! They've shut down all self checkout lanes. Ten item or less lane? No, they don't have that either. I had to stand behind people with full shopping carts to buy two items. I won't be back!

Google
4 stars is a lot for a big box grocery store.. But this Kroger’s location is an exception.. I’ve been coming here for over 4 years and they’ve kept the store consistently organized and clean.. The staff has always been helpful when necessary.. They carry a large and honestly impressive selection of wines.. A bottle of Opus One at your local Kroger’s is pretty exciting.. My favorite part about this store is their large variety of fresh organic produce and their impressive health foods section.. The prices will be better here than Whole Foods of course, so it’s worth it to stop in and pick up some key items before moving on to Tre more expensive stores.. Happy shopping!!

Bought some Cajun Bacon on nov 13 from kroger in Bellevue tn.. it was rancid.. they sold me rotten meat straight from there Butcher... The Butcher should have known and probably did know the meat was old and still sold it.... i will not be going back to a place with such low quality meats....

Google
I always thought that this was a good Kroger to go to other than the one that is on Charlotte, but The customer service/money order desk should not be closed at 3 o’clock on a Wednesday very disappointing

Google
Do better for your current staff and hire some people to work your cash registers. It's not fair to your current workers and customers. The line to self check is almost to the back of the aisle in this photo.

Google
parking is terrible, service is really bad, never is there enough help, when lanes are backed up another check lane is never opened. Service center is rarely open. The store layout is ridiculous, hard to find things and always have to back track. I have never be able to find help in the Deli, they have truly made the Deli self serving. The number of employees in the store is at one time is below par. Would rather go to Publix and pay a little more for the service, cleanliness and over all better experience. Publix has more employees in the Deli/Bakery than Kroger has in their entire store. It's a shame how far Kroger service has fallen over the past 5 years. Kroger do better.

Yelp
I'd like to give Greg at self-checkout a 5 star review for his patience and kindness towards me during my self- checkout experience. Greg assisted me in problem solving how I was able to use my giftcard to purchase my groceries. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the giftcard because of an authorization problem (from the giftcard itself) however Greg was kind throughout assisting me and gave me top notch customer service trying to assist the best way that he could. Working in luxury hospitality in 5 star hotels in Nashville, his attitude and personality stood out to me and I will be back just because of him!

Yelp
You know one of the first things I had to do when I moved to Nashville was find a local Kroger to call my own...and lucky for me this location, which sits at the corner or Highway 70 and Old Hickory in Bellevue, is only about 4 miles from me! This Kroger is pretty large, definitely one of the largest in the area and features a great Kroger Fuel Center that has 16 pumps, the shop and air/vacuum station. As mentioned, this location has a bunch of space and they are not shy to fill it all with groceries and goods! They have all the standard spots such as bakery, sandwiches, hot bar, Murray's cheese, seafood, meats, pharmacy, etc...While I do appreciate all the goods and space in the extra large/long aisles, I do wish they would have left a little more room for the checkouts/registers. This space can and does get backed up easily. Service has been decent so far. The cashiers are nice, not talkative, but friendly and the baggers are helpful, efficient and friendly as well. Parking is plentiful, as this Kroger is in a shopping center, so if you can't get something right in front, you have many rows and spots to choose from. One of my only grips is the lack of small carts/buggies. They have plenty of the large buggies, but only a handful of the smaller ones. Overall, this is a solid Kroger that is well kept and well stocked. I sit closer to the Kroger on Charlotte Ave, but absolutely do not mind going a few extra miles for this spot!

Yelp
This Kroger is simply the worst. It's laid out logistically in a manner that makes no sense, and will waste a customer's time - guaranteed. There is limited customer service, especially if it's near closing time - which is when a logical store layout is imperative to get in and out for all the right reasons, including getting the store workers out on time. I try not to shop here, and recommend almost any other option. 1 star is a stretch.

Yelp
Horrible service along with unsafe food service conditions. Not only have me and my family gotten sick a lot from meat purchased from this store but other people in the community that I know has complained about the same thing.

Peg A.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years it's a one of a kind market.staff.met Billy Ray there before he was famous super nice guy guess it was 1992.He shook my little boy at the times hand That's why I love him so. But it's a nice place to shop.great selection of coffees.produce to.U just never know I guess.Just dont scream if u see a star be calm stay focused. Buy coffee.

Yelp
Overall the experience was fine, we shop at Kroger all the time and nothing was out of the ordinary in regards to store cleanliness, stock expectation etc. This review is more service oriented. We had an encounter with a cashier with a serious attitude originally, but instead of focusing on her I would like to focus on the employee that turned our experience around. Rachel, another cashier, called us into her isle as she had no line. Not only do I appreciate that pro-active nature, but also how sweet and helpful she was. She had such a positive attitude and we really appreciated that and her service. Please give her a pat on the back, she's a great representative for your company.

Kenneth S.

Yelp
Not enough help in store. They close one exit in store at 8:00 pm so I have to walk extra distance to get back to my handicapped parking space. Gas pumps out front not maintained. Attendant not there to issue receipt when pump does not issue receipt.

Stan D.

Yelp
I have been coming to this location on and off. So far, everything is fine. The staffs are helpful and they also offer a variety of products. I just wish that Kroger could make their location a bit more organized.

Harriet S.

Yelp
Their Customer Service was prompt in answering when I called after reaching the store and Bianca created a perfect specialty cake for me. After ordering a specialty cake 95th birthday cake for my Aunt and expressing a desire not to have to enter the store to get it because of I have had to stay isolated since last March. I caused Customer Service extra trouble in asking for that special service. I really appreciated their patience in providing it because the cake had to be paid for before the bakery could release it.

Yelp
Harris Teeter, when I first settled on this land, you were my primary means of survival. Then came Whole Foods and I swore I'd never stray from a true love again. Then I moved to the boonies of Bellevue with the fortune of this Kroger but steps from my palace. I had no choice but to lay my heart down at its doorstep and lustfully wander through its ever-glowing clean aisles of always-stocked delights, fresh farm products, and pleasant employees. I can nearly guarantee that I will be here at a minimum of 8 days per week, sometimes just to see if they've used their mannequin in a new inappropriate but tempting display for the upcoming holiday. This location is one of the bigger ones w/o any awkwardly sized aisles, nooks, or crannies. It's big and bright, lots of parking, has Redbox, a neighboring gas station, and in a plaza with a dry cleaner, Starbucks, lots of food options, wine/liquor store, and Bank of America.

Yelp
Friendly service and produce seems to be fresh and up to date. They also seem to have a lot more "woohooo" deals than other Kroger's in Nashville. I would recommend this store for your grocery needs!

Jason F.

Yelp
This Kroger has recently been updated an remodeled. They now have a very efficient system where you can order groceries online. It is clean, staff friendly, and great prices.

Kimberly D.

Yelp
This was a beautiful store! They're currently remodeling so parts of the store were a construction zone but I bet it will be beautiful when finished. I was visiting from NY and thought that the organic/natural/healthy section was HUGE! That's sometimes hard to find outside of specialty stores. I was really excited. All the produce was fresh and all the sections of the store had good quality food. Yay Kroger!

Yelp
I have used their curbside pickup before and had a decent experience - not of today's experience. I live 10 minutes from this location and I drove straight home with the groceries. Ten minutes after getting home I notice the frozen pizza's I had ordered were both defrosted. I marked no substitutions and got them anyway. The butter I ordered was semi-cool. Definitely not cold. I didn't get a receipt. I asked for it and was told it was in the back with the groceries - it wasn't. I called back (when I got home) to let them know about the temperature of some of the food. The answer I got was "Sorry bout that. After a pause of thinking I was get some sort of response...nothing more. My last trip through there.

Chris S.

Yelp
This Kroger would get a five star review with only two changes needing to be made...i will get to that. This location is extremely close to my home so I go there often. The staff in the bakery, deli, cheese counter, and especially the meat department have always been very helpful. I love how the cheese department has added the "less than five dollar" cheese boxes in the gourmet section which allows you to try new things without having to spend a lot. I use it frequently. The stock seems to always be in check as well. Now what i don't like 1. The parking. The parking here is a nightmare for two reasons. 1. This kroger is in the midst of a major remodel so a big chunk of the parking lot has been taken over by construction trailers, cranes, etc. Parking is bad enough here as it is and while there is a whole large lot it is split by a two way road that runs through the lot and where people go VERY fast without paying attention so I will circle the lot until i find a spot in the main area of parking because i don't want to die at Kroger. 2. The bagging and checkout clerks are without a doubt the worst ive ever seen. I always bring in my own bags, which is not uncommon, and every time i hand them to them you would think i handed them something from another planet. It seems to mystify them and they have no idea how to pack them. In addition i have had items crushed multiple times and half the time they don't even acknowledge me. I am not saying i want to carry on a conversation for an hour but its nice to just be acknowledged.

Yelp
Every week I tell myself I'm going to break up with this Krogers, but then I find myself back there again. It's super close to me, so definitely the most convenient grocery store location-wise. As far as Krogers go, I've been to nicer and I've been to worse. They have all your basic foodstuffs and a Redbox in front of the store. As far as strong points, I think the customer service is good. I have one minor complaint and two major complaints about this place though. Minor complaint - I am an adventurous cook and enjoy all kinds of dishes. More often than not I cannot find something I need there. Today it was sun dried tomatos. When I asked an employee for help, she said she had never heard of sun dried tomatos before. I had to ask four people and finally learned they didn't have any. What?! Their vegan product selection is weak too - no tempeh, and only a couple of kinds of tofu. They do have all the frozen veggie patties, but those are overpriced in my opinion. Major complaint #1 - Parking is a bear. I've circled and even left before because it was so bad. Once you do find a place, it's scary walking up to the store because you have to walk right behind cars backing out. A man almost got run over this morning right before my eyes. It's stressful. Major complaint #2 - I like buying the salad mixes and bagged greens like arugula. I have been visitng this place since last August and every single time I've gone the greens are in some stage of rotting. I have complained about it and no one seems to care. I have to go to a different store altogether to buy my salad greens, and that's just not convenient.

Yelp
I don't write reviews. Ever. But this is worth noting. Don't use the pickup app. While you may think this is helpful to avoid going into The store, they don't even try. I got no notification anything on my list was out of stock, so I was surprised after waiting 30 min that 14 of my 24 items were "out of stock" completely. This included green beans, sweet potatoes, bread, bottle of wine. I thought to myself, there's no way they are out of all this. I got into the store and get 12 of the 14 items "out of stock" myself. I understand it's a busy time to work at a grocery, but what's the point of offering the pickup if they just waste time and don't even try.

Matt C.

Yelp
The is a regular spot for me to "grocery up". Its not as good as the Belle Mead Kroger, but is better than the one off White Bridge and Charlotte Pike. Its right next to an Sbux, which helps soothe my shopping experiences no mater the locale. Other conveniences are a Redbox, Kroger gas, and the Mexican restaurant "Cancun's" for even more um, gas.

Corey W.

Yelp
This is probably one of my favorite Krogers. Clean, Clean, Clean. Did I mention it's usually clean? Shopping in a dirty grocery store I feel like is like trying to brush your teeth while some one is sitting on the toilet. Meat and Fish selection is on par. I do tend to be missing one or two things of the more exotic nature that I am looking for but it can be overlooked. Another great part is gas. Usually one of the cheapest places in town to fill up, even if you aren't using your reward points.

Samantha R.

Yelp
Pros: This is one of the more upscale Kroger stores. It is generally very well-kept and the checkout lines are usually pretty short on weekdays. Cons: It can sometimes be difficult to find someone to assist you and the parking is horrendous. Overall, I do recommend this store.

Billy G.

Yelp
I like this Kroger for the good produce selection as well as the friendly staff. They always have what I need and keep finding reasons to stop and run in. Easy in and out and they have the curbside pickup.

Cassie S.

Yelp
It's a Kroger. Great variety of food, prices are usually good and sometimes they have really good coupons. The attached gas station where you can get discounts with your Kroger card is a definite bonus. However, I do not by my produce here. The quality is just so poor. I've seen mold and I've seen plenty of packaged items WAY past their sell by date. Yogurt too (though that's not produce). Just make sure that if you're buying something "fresh" or refrigerated to check the date!

T S.

Yelp
I am torn between 3 and 4 stars. As Krogers go, this is not the cleanest nor best stocked, at least it has not been when I have been there. But it is typical Kroger, good general selection and the prices are great. Employees are friendly and generally helpful. The worst thing I have against it is the insufficient parking, which is not helped by the location on a busy corner. It's not that difficult to get in, but there is no good way to exit, especially if you are going back toward Bellevue. Still, the best combination of prices, selection and relative safety in the Bellevue area.

Ivan K.

Yelp
I have had it with this Kroger I don't no if it's a manager problem or what but every time I shop there the produce is garbage if they even have produce it's always empty the meat is brown this isn't the first time either ever sense they remodeled it's been crap

Kelly B.

Yelp
I'm bouncing between 2-3 stars. It's a decently big Kroger compared to the others within my proximity. Parking is pretty bad, but customary for Nashville. In day-early evening, the store is run very smoothly. Unfortunately, given my work hours I frequent the location between 9-11pm. Honestly, my only real gripe is that there is a punk 19ish year old that is in charge of the self check out area late night. He makes me feel very uncomfortable, and always wants to chat me up. Most recently, though, he called out a customer adjacent to me for potentially entering the wrong amount of produce or something and said very seriously, "You'll know when I'm upset." And then looked at me like I should understand. Really? It makes pretty uncomfortable and I've since been driving out of my way to another Kroger just to avoid him flirting/chatting me up.

Tom B.

Yelp
I do 99% of my grocery shopping at this Kroger. I love this store but have two suggestions. First, shame on you for having such lousy benches at the main entrance. Many older people need to sit here to wait and those wicker benches are a disgrace for such an upscale store! They have sagged so much that it is nearly impossible to get up once you sit down. Come on, get some sturdy flat seat benches. And would it kill you to put a bench near the back of the store as well?...some of us need to sit for just a minute in such a large store! Now for my prize-winning suggestion for the parking lot... Since there are so many huge SUV's blocking the view, how about some attractive flag banners on each of the cart returns. They are really hard to see when blocked on all sides by these huge vehicles. If each had a tall flag, you could see the nearest one and not risk your life maneuvering between parked cars to drop off your cart.

Suzy B.

Yelp
A lot of the produce is rotten or out of stock. Don't bother coming on a Sunday they will be out of almost everything. I go to Publix now, much happier!

Kristen B.

Yelp
Have always purchased my groceries here, and once a week we do salmon and have asked them to cut the skin off. This week the guys at the meat department refused to do so after 5-6 years of doing this almost weekly. Don't know if this is a policy change or if it was employee error. Would think with Publix, Aldi and Sprouts within 3 miles of them they would have a customer-centric approach. Guess not, bummer.

Amber S.

Yelp
i came to this store for the first time a few days ago. out of the items i purchased, the three "naked" coconut waters were expired on 10/13/2014 and i did not realize until i started to wonder why i had been sick for two days. i drank two of the three waters. then, i ate a fresh fruit cup, package by kroger in the produce section, and there was/is a giant fly wing in it. this is not acceptable for a store selling food items. i would like someone to call me regarding these items, which i still have in my possession. i have been sick for two days and i need an explanation as to how this store allows this to happen.

Roseanne C.

Yelp
Love it. Remodeling and very nice. Not pricey. Convenient location. Shop here often, friendly and helpful staff
