The Kroger app has been saying milk is $2.79. But when you go to the store the milk is $2.89. The 1st time I bought it & didn't say anything. Today I told the cashier at Self Checkout. He insisted that the price was right, the 10 cents was for tax. I told him it's not tax, it's called false advertizement. He eventually reluctantly, took the 10 cents off for me. But, I could tell he thought I was "The Idiot" Unbelieveable, I find it hard to believe that Krogers doesn't teach their employees that there is NO TAX ON FOOD! This is the 21st Century. There hasn't been a tax on food for years. I remember being a child when food was made exempt from tax & I'm 69 years old now.
