Virtual SXSW 2021: Every Food and Drink-Related Panel and Film | Eater Austin

"I saw that grocery chain Kroger, teaming with the Zero Waste Foundation, put together four days of panels called 'The Future of Food' covering the food ecosystem on a changing planet; while the full panel lineup was yet to be announced, topics include food justice, insect agriculture, the Internet of Things for kitchen hardware, and regenerative agriculture, and the event is open to non-badge holders with an RSVP." - Erin Russell

Went shopping here and staff was friendly it had a great bakery section. Plenty of parking and a handicap ramp. No wipes for the carts, overflowing garbage out front. Ice and propane available

Yesterday I got maple honey turkey from the deli. I asked to have it shaved. There's a picture on the deli case showing the different ways they slice it and what those look like. My turkey was chipped into little pieces and squashed down. I asked for half a pound and got a whole pound. The young man who helped me is the same one who did this before and I complained and was hoping it'd be addressed - I don't think it was. I'm grateful for the refund customer service gave me, but I won't buy from the deli anymore if that young man is working. I posted the photos, which look nothing like the picture on the deli case.

I arrived today around 8:45 pm to find the door locked. The lights were on, and so me and a few other customers were looking on how to get inside. Finally, we got the attention of an employee who had been on his phone. He tells me that they were closed, even though it was business hours. Eventually someone comes to the door and says that because they had lost power earlier, even though they had regained power, they were waiting for a district manager to give them permission, and couldn’t let us in until they heard back from said manager. Unbelievable. I had been to a restaurant nearby who also lost power but they regained it minutes later, which has to be what happened here. Again, the lights and all power were on. Why I couldn’t come in and get groceries, I don’t understand. They turned away about ten people or so with me and honestly, I’ve never seen anything like that.

Went to Krogers this morning (1 Mar 2025), the 1st and the 15th of the month is Military Appreciation Day and they offer 10% off the total bill after all discounts and coupons… The store was neat, clean, and well stocked with fresh vegetables and the meat displays were full, and surprisingly the store was not crowded…

Genuinely the worst and most annoying anti theft self checkout software I've dealt with. Got flagged and stopped by the checkout SEVERAL times while trying to scan goods, just because I had a pile of boxes in one arm as I swiped barcodes with the other. Then ushered to finish checking out every 5 seconds. Done with this location, I'd rather be at Publix anyways.

This store needs some serious help. I live locally and come here because it’s convenient, but every time I come here theres the same issues. The deli normally has only one person working during peak hours (currently waiting on about 25 mins) and there is never enough cashier lines, which causes the line to go towards the back of the store. My personal opinion, go somewhere else because management doesn’t care and nothing has changed in the last 3 months that I’ve been shopping here.

Tanya in Customer Service was extremely rude! She didn’t acknowledge my presence, presumably because the counter ropes were in place. She said we’re closed until 8am. It was 7:22am. So I have to come back? “Yes! Do you have something to return?” Yes, I do. No verbal reply, just her facial expressions. She proceeds to run her cash bags. Okay, she’ll help after she’s done. A lady walks up and asks if the deli is open. Tanya’s reply was curt, like why are you talking to me. “They open at 7, go back over there. Someone should be there.” Another lady comes up with sodas and a receipt. Tanya doesn’t acknowledge her at all. The lady and I are both standing there waiting for assistance. A third lady comes over for assistance, nothing from Tanya. Third lady leaves. Two of us still there waiting. Tanya finishes her count and goes into the office. Lady asks if I was ever acknowledged. “Barely”. I said, and that lady leaves. Tanya finally comes back out and is leaving! I ask if she’s going to help me. “No!” You ack as though you’ll help me after you finish your count and you’re just gonna leave? “Yes! I told you we’re closed”, and she storms out through the inside exit door and in through the inside entrance door and goes somewhere into the deli/sushi section, rather than around the CS counter! Rude as can be! I have shopped Kroger in FL, then started using home delivery when the stores closed in my FL area. Been shopping the Kroger on Victory in Tabb, VA since June 2024. NEVER has a Kroger employee or delivery driver been anything but polite and helpful, even when they may have been busy. I was so angry after Tanya’s treatment, I considered coming back or waiting until she came back to the counter and returned ever one of the 33 items purchased. Maybe even one by one! I reported the incident to a manager and told one of the ladies Tanya ignored that I would report her! Inexcusable rudeness from Tanya!

Matthew was a great help at the Newport News store. He helped me to get a custom cake made for an important church event. He went beyond the call of duty to help. Thank you!

Yelp
I used to think Kroger was overpriced but I've come to enjoy it. I like the lay out and variety of fresh produce. Only 4 stars because I prefer the one a little bit closer to me as the staff was much friendlier there. I do know this Kroger is much larger and has a lot more going on.

Kristine P.

Yelp
This Kroger is the worst in customer service. Does not matter if it is the Service counter, pharmacy or check out. I have never experienced professionalism, friendliness or employees being polite. I had to switch to a Kroger that is 15min from me instead of this one that is 5min from the house. Kroger corp and the management of this store should be embarrassed.

Russ P.

Yelp
Forty percent of the aisle in this store were blocked by stock carts. No bags anywhere in produce section and hard to maneuver around carts and people stocking. People stocking were very rude. One check out open with six self check outs open the rest closed. Line waiting to check out. There were no small carts or hand baskets available. They may be convenient to my location, however I will have to find a new place to shop.

Yelp
try to buy some pork chops at kiln Creek Kroger they were very dry and chewy. The quality of their meat is so poor there that I have not been back for three years and it has not improved.

Yelp
I've had multiple visits to Kroger over the years and today is no different. Sanitizing stations are at front door, carts are sprayed with sanitizer when stacked at front entrance. This locations contains a decent flora section, a Starbucks, sushi station, awesome deli serving BoarsHead, full line fresh bakery and other expected departments. Thank you to Chanel in bakery who assisted in slicing all my bread. Wine and liquor department is satisfactory despite running out of the new 19 Crimes / Snoop Dogg Cali Red wine. Excellent selection of local wine, brews and ciders. I did appreciate the large meatless "meat" section although I prefer a decent filet mignon of which they had none. Everything I looked for was in stock, cashiers courteous and social distancing practiced.

Yelp
I came in from Maryland on a work assignment. I went to the customer service counter to ask for a Kroger card or use a courtesy card. I was told NO, we dont have any cards!!!!. I wanted to stock up my room for the week. I put 88 dollars worth of groceries back. Other than that, the store was clean and well stocked.

Yelp
All Kroger's feel the same, stock the same, sell the same and this one is no different. Except the gas station, shopping pick up, and the Starbucks seem to be better run than in other locations. However, I have to agree with some of the other Yelpers on here, check out is an absolute nightmare... barely any cashiers at all hours of the day, not just at night, and self service can be a fiasco. Great in store promotions on the weekend to try new items, but watch out for the crowds. The one way in one way out system this Kroger has is not very forgiving when there are hoards of people... not very well thought out for where it's located. Regardless, get the Kroger app, become a member, it really does help if you shop here often. A 3.5 rounded up on this occasion, because they were the only store in the vicinity that had what I needed for a recipe - egg whites and arugula.

Yelp
I'm originally from Cincinnati (where Kroger was founded), so I've been to quite a few locations over the years. This one is by far the worst. The produce section is horrendous. I don't know how many bags of lettuce, packs of chives, watermelons, etc. I've purchased only to find that they're spoiled by the time I get home. They're also frequently out of celery, a well-stocked item in every other grocery store. Speaking of low stock, this seems to be a common issue here and you can expect the out of stock items to remain that way for weeks on end. Their customer service is non-existent. The cashiers at the self-checkout are frequently gathered in conversation at the front of the store complaining about their jobs instead of attending to their customers. Expect to wait a while if you have an issue or need to use coupons. And lastly, the people at the tables they allow to be set up outside of the entrance are persistent and aggressive. The last thing I want is to be harassed when grocery shopping. I've been to the Grafton, Hampton, Chesapeake, and VA Beach locations and all are superior to this one. For the escalated prices, I expected so much more. Do yourself a favor and skip this one!

Yelp
I am so mixed on this store. A lot of good and a lot of bad. Let's start with the good. They have a fantastic deli case, one of the best in the area. Boars Head meats, La Brea bread, and all kinds of unique cheeses. They often provide samples of unique cheese and cracker combinations. I've gotten pretty hooked on the Bellavitano cheese and it's only because I had an opportunity to try it. They are also pretty forgiving on returns. The quality of their produce is quite high as well and there is also a good amount of aisle space . Here are a few things that are bothering me. There is one entrance in and one exit out and they're right next to each other. It makes getting in and out awfully challenging. Also, and this is what really bugs me, is they run out of items quickly. I have seen them run out of different produce items from cucumbers, to jalapenos, to lettuce mixes. Another thing I don't like is there are other Kroger locations in Hampton Roads with more features such as a hot bar. Once I went into one of the Virginia Beach locations, it rearranged my perspective on the Newport News location. I do continue to go, since it is only a few minutes from where I live, and I can better quality products than at a Food Lion, but it can be frustrating at times.

Yelp
I really love this location. They expanded over the years and I feel that they did an amazing job with that! Their prices are pretty good and I love the fuel points system. Good produce section. I love the sushi bar! The bulk section is pretty good. And I love the fact they have a starbucks inside. They have pretty much everything you need at this location. Their vegan and vegetarian section is pretty decent. The store is clean and well organized. The employees are helpful and friendly. They also have teamed up with hello fresh which I thought was pretty cool for those who actually enjoy them. If you have the Kroger app, definitely utilize it! You get great discounts at 2- 3 times the fuel points. You can definitely save Alot at this store with the Kroger card alone. Their coupon system is pretty good as well. Although they have changed the manufacturer coupon policy, it's still pretty good. My only downfall is that it seems as if they're always understaffed.

Yelp
Only go to this Kroger if you don't mind regularly waiting in line for 20 minutes at the self-checkout line and longer for regular checkout. Also, I hope you like bagging your own groceries. For a company that made record profits last year, it's ridiculous for them to never have enough employees to keep the THREE checkout lanes they have open. They won't even keep all their self check-out lanes open because they either refuse to hire/schedule enough folks or pay people enough to actually get workers. Completely unacceptable for a company that continuously posts high profits.

Yelp
I had not been to Kroger in Yorktown in a while. I had several bad experiences with shopping for an hour only to have the scooter run out of power. Yesterday I noticed that they had new scooters and the guys that return carts were on top of it. Another thing that was quite refreshing was all the employees were actually working and taking pride in their jobs and being neat. They had knowledge of products when you asked a question and nobody was on their cell phone like at Walmart talking personal business. I had an issue with what I thought was overcharging for items and the lady in customer service was extremely helpful and friendly resolving the problem. I will be a regular customer again because there is some bad service out here and besides good products that's important to me. My biggest disappointment was I splurged and bought a little Ribeye steak for 19.99 that said usda prime and when I cooked it it tasted like crap no flavor like I expected.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Self check out experience was miserable. I walked away from my groceries... and those who came with me to help shop. The store otherwise was very nice. The food selection was great. Too bad the self check out machine couldn't recognize it. The poor helper tried her best to assist us. The first time was ok. The second time was awkward. The fourth time she had to assist it became clear the user experience on these machines does not work. Have a nice shopping experience... don't use the self check out.

Yelp
This would be your fancy grocery store. Very clean and will organized. They have a quick bar were you can get quick eats. The bakery is awesome...they have a bread slicer machine you can use. Pick up your favorite fresher baked break, drop it in the machine, and out the door you. Staff is very tentative and helpful.

Yelp
If you are in need of a birthday cake that looks decent or like what you ordered, don't go to this Kroger. I ordered this cake for my husband's 40th birthday party and was MORTIFIED when I saw what actually came. I was told that I could drive it back and return it for a ready made cake that had balloons on it but again...not what I ordered. You should be held liable like everyone else for not providing what was ordered!!!!!!! Very dissatisfied!!!!

John V.

Yelp
My family and I have been to different Krogers and by far our favorite is the Kroger at Yorktown. I understand that each person may have different experiences when they shop, even our experience varies per visit. However, the most consistently well maintained and stocked Kroger is Yorktown. The staff I have interacted with is also friendly, relative to other Kroger locations. Overall, the well stocked items and store layout are the main reasons why we choose Yorktown as much as possible.

Leonard M.

Yelp
They were dreadfully low in labor in Deli. Chris was excellent! Being over worked from 5AM, looking at tired as can be, trying to close the Deli, he mustered up enough energy to take care of us. Kroger?! Take care of awesome employees like him. He is invaluable to this struggling economy. We will keep coming back on account of excellent customer service that Chris is so good at. Thank you!

Marie M.

Yelp
This is a review of the deli at the Kroger in Hampton, VA. I stood there for 5 minutes today, waiting to make my order while two employees continued to slice meat as they ignored the customers at the counter. When I finally had the attention of the worker, I placed my order and she wrote it on a form. (I had seen the form on the counter and would have filled it out myself, but there was nothing to write with near the form pad.) She said I could pick up my order (it was only 1 lb of ham cut at #2 width) after I did the rest of my shopping. So, I shopped, picked up my order and checked out. When I got home, I discovered that she had given me 1/2 lb. of ham, cut at a much wider # than I had ordered. It was sort of insult to injury. Poor service all around.

Yelp
This store has turned into a complete train wreck. I used to love shopping here, but then the customer service became non-existent. Stopped by tonight to give it another chance and now there's no customer service and the shelves were empty. You could tell the place hadn't been stocked in days. One might assume it's due to shortages or a lack of employees, but I went down the street to Food Lion (since Kroger was out of everything) and all was good. Poor management had killed this place. Do yourself a favor and pass this place by.

Tammy P.

Yelp
I purchased a product from this store in Feb.2022 that was expired in Aug.2020! After consuming some of the product and becoming ill is when I noticed the expiration date. I returned the product to the store and they took down my info and told me there were going to return said product to the manufacturer. This did not happen! Therefore, I have no claim!! Kroger did not take any of the blame for selling an out of date product. Customer service like that is not customer service!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I love Kroger! As a member each time I shop I get points towards my gas which is great. Each Kroger I go to I make it a point to try their sushi because it supposed to be mad fresh. This location wasn't nearly as good as I've had before. The rolls were super dry and the rice was grainy. Very disappointed. The produce section is always "missing something" which can be stressful and annoying at times. The meat looks kind of sketchy, so packets of steak were turning colors. Please be advised and cautious when shopping for meat here. I go here only for packaged items

Yelp
ATTN: Pharmacy (Nick) Talk about a guy that makes things happen. Not only did I have to transfer a script from out of state, requiring that I attain a partial fill and wait until the next shipment came in, Nick made sure to personally attend to my needs, ensuring that every detail was tended to! If you need a reputable pharmacist and fair prices then I recommend Nick 10 times out of 10!

Yelp
I ordered through the app and requested delivery, everything was okay until they sent a text saying someone replaced one of my items and to type y to agree. Well before I could respond the person already checked out. They gave me less than a second to reply and now it is too late to change anything. gee so much help...

Randy L.

Yelp
I would like to give less stars but that's not possible. After using the online shopping feature for pickup, I was emailed 30 minutes before pickup time some items were not available and would I like substitutes or just cancel the order. The main reason I used their website was that they had toilet paper listed as available for pickup and several items I was also needing. I placed the order for pickup at 1203am Monday, May,18th for pickup between 12pm and 1 pm that same day. During checkout there were no red flags about any item being unavailable. I placed the order for @57.00. Not a large amount to most but I do live on a fixed income so it is to me. After the email From Kroger just before pickup time, I cancelled the order expecting an immediate refund. But hold you horses my payment won't be refunded for 3-10 business days!!! After spending literally 4.5 hrs speaking with various "supervisors, specialist and assorted talking heads" they refuse to refund my money after my bank gave me the information Kroger needed to send my bank to release the hold immediately. It was 7 lines of information they could have faxed to my bank in less time the last person kept me on hold. When asked how the treat website orders, I was told 3 different things. 1st was if you make a pickup time at 8am your order is picked and it doesn't matter at what time you set it up. Then I was told the pickers don't come in until the store opens with regular customers so they (customers) have first choice. Lastly I was told the people who place the order first have there items picked and saved first. All sounds like a bait and switch to get you to commit money to items they don't have in stock. Now this so called "policy" of no exceptions is utter BS. I. I will wait for the hold on my money and in the mean time look for an attorney who has some free time on their hands for a false advertisement case or possibly an interest laundering scheme. They hold your money make interest off of it until they are forced to release the money. Anyway I am through with kroger and will never recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately, this will include the Harris Teeter only a few blocks from my house. I love this store but this chain is now a wholly owned subsidiary of kroger's and I will no longer shop there. The people there are great but profits all funnels back to kroger. I will update this post if I have any luck with a lawsuit or some type of reasonable response from kroger. I am not looking for credits to my Kmart card or anything( which they did offer) Photo below is information my bank was asking kroger to release my funds. I wrote it down as the bank CS rep was giving it to me. Update: 5 minutes ago Just received a call from kroger insisting they needed my physical home address because I mentioned getting an attorney. Sounds like the bullying has just begun.

Yelp
Horrible customer service! Their grocery pickup service is a joke. Rude & unprofessional employees. Items are always out of stock.

Cornell C.

Yelp
So, today I experienced the Kroger rudeness that others wrote about on this site. Searching for a COVID self testing kit, I called the number on the web page for the pharmacy. However, I mistakenly connected with the gas pump station. Not, recognizing that I been given a wrong number, I asked about the store's availability for the COVID rapid self test. Instead, of professionally informing me I had contacted the gas station, the attendant rudely stated she worked at the gasoline booth and abruptly disconnected my call. I then contacted the manager about this treatment, I am hoping the next customer is treated professionally.

Yelp
Kroger Pharmacy Over the past two months have transferred our prescriptions back to the Farm Fresh on Arthur Way. We transferred our prescriptions from Farm Fresh to Kroger about a year and a half ago for convenience as we thought we would be doing a lot of our shopping at the new Kroger Marketplace. What we found was a pharmacy staff who had no interest in serving the customer. Picking up scripts was painful. You could stand at the counter for a minute as the 2 or 3 employees made eye contact with each other deciding who would HAVE to help you. Many times they would not even acknowledge your presence until you said 'excuse me - I have a a script to drop off or pickup.' Several times when I went to pick up a script --- (because I received an automated call that something was ready - never sure if it was one script ready or all that I ordered because that info is not given on the call. I would then check my insurance website to see if everything I ordered was ready. No sense in making 2 trips if my full refill order was not ready.) ---- the script was actually not ready because no one had had time to empty the crates! When asked when the crates would be emptied was told either by closing or first thing the next day. One time an employee did get into the bin to find my script (one that I had ordered 4 days earlier. That is a whole other issue - time to refill for common drugs was sometimes unreasonable. After transferring a couple of scripts my doctor received requests from Kroger to refill scripts. Strange I have never ordered automatic refills. And besides those particular scripts had already been transferred. I called Kroger and asked how that had happened. They had no idea. Asked that they make sure it did not happen again. The person said there was nothing in system on auto refills. The employee did not make any effort to inquire why we had transferred scripts. If I was Kroger I would want to know. Store I transferred to is right across the street. So transferred last of scripts this week and guess what -my doctor received a request from Kroger to refill the scripts I had just transferred! I called Kroger at 9 this morning and left a message for Pharmacist to call. I received a call back from Erin at 1111. I told her what happened and she assured me our records have been changed to reflect no automatic refills and did not ask me anything else. Hmmmmmm the previous answer was they had no idea how it happened . I told her I was surprised she did not ask why we changed pharmacies? So she said 'okay why did you change?'. Oh my.... Love being back at the friendly and efficient Farm Fresh pharmacy at Kiln Creek

Jaime W.

Yelp
Rude staff. I was forced to check out in the self check line as there was only one live check out with an extremely long line. Front end staff accused me of theft despite receipt proving otherwise then stated "whatever" when proved wrong. I frequented this store for four years but will take my business elsewhere!!

Max K.

Yelp
Since my last review, this Kroger has gone downhill. They are regularly out of stock on tons of items. Additionally, the manager would not accept Kroger store coupons and manufacturers coupons on items that were already on sale. There is nothing in Kroger's coupon policy that says that coupons are not allowed on sale items and I have previously combined coupons with sales at this location before.

L H.

Yelp
Kroger is not my everyday grocery but I do like their produce but I'm not sure when I will be going back. It seems they don't require the instore shoppers for their curbside pick up service to wear their masks correctly. "Half maskers" breathing all over your grocery order is not my idea of safer. I witnessed the shoppers in both the meat department and produce department with their masks under their nose and no managers in sight to discuss. Another reason I'm not interested in curb side pick up.

Yelp
My experience is don't go on Saturday or Sunday mornings, Apparently the inventory is not restocked until later in the day and specials are frequently nonexistent. Is their a labor problem about when restocking can accurr? Perhaps opening should be delayed on the weekends.

Alida D.

Yelp
First, I like shopping at Kroger. Next, I HATE SELF CHECKOUT. If you cannot hire cashiers to check out your customers you should consider closing the store. Greed will be the downfall of Kroger and other stores who close their checkout lines and expect customers to be their unpaid employees. The food is not discounted. If you expect customers to work for you, you should pay them. I refuse to use a self checkout. You have people standing there watching you as you check out. You cannot buy alcohol or cash a check without assistance..these same people should be behind a cash register. Hire someone to check out groceries. This happens usually at night. Close the stores if you cannot afford cashiers.
google avatar

Robert V.

Yelp
I had a bad experience with Annette. She is a cashier. I am a daily customer to this Kroger. I was purchasing alcohol and she asked for my ID. I understand that it is a requirement if they think I look younger than 40. Well I am 52. I gave her my ID and she began to say things like "your hair color is different". So what I could have had short hair instead on long like in my Pic. but it was me. I did not like her attitude. I just want the store to know they need to better train their team in customer service. Annette is not an asset to your team. I wish farm fresh was still open.

Yelp
Very nice Krogers, exceptional fruit and veggie section. They had some great and unusual fruits like Jackfruit and a weird looking kiwi/melon looking fruit with thorns ...yum. Very clean facility, nicely stocked with large variety.
google avatar

Maria P.

Yelp
This is the first time since they opened in Hampton, Va that I was dissatisfied with this store. It's a Sunday night, I understand but they should have at least one cashier on duty. Instead, there was none and customers were 'forced' to check themselves out. I am pretty sure that some of them would rather go through a cashier and have their groceries checked out by an employee. I turned around and left. Grocery employees are paid to do their jobs. Why would I go to a grocery store and check myself out? I will not. This store did not practice good customer service; at least not tonight, 7 April 2019.

Yelp
I love Krogers for their sale items and sushi. Its always a clean store with easy to find items. Their items always have visibly seen price tags. The one issue that seems to pop up when I come here is their customer service. From the deli personel having a stone face and rude mannerisms when asked for items to the customer service talking to you as if you were a problem. Even the Starbucks lady seemed to have an issue with something and acted like she did not want to be there. IT really is a nice store, their management needs to send in mystery shoppers to see how their employees act.

Yelp
Booked pickup groceries a week ago for a 4-5pm time slot. It's 5:15. 1, just 1 car has been helped. All of us have been sitting here since 4. 5pm slot cars haven't even been able to notify Kroger they're here. Some communication would be nice other than your order is being pulled now when first arriving 75min ago.

Yelp
Honestly the actual facility and merchandise are great but the employees are so rude. I am no longer shopping here because of them.

Yelp
This is my #1 grocery store. I love shopping here for everything I need, including my gas. Normally when I shop here, I am able to find everything I need and occasionally I'll pick up a new coffee cup, there are clothes as well if you want to snoop through those as well. I don't have any complaints for this store nor Kroger at all. Been shopping here since I was a kid!

Yelp
This review is solely for the salad bar. I love me some Kroger salad bar. I've gotten to the point where I can load up my tray and have it super close to 1lb without going over, its a gift I suppose. I normally go to the Kroger in Portsmouth but I've been on this side for a couple weeks and decided to swing by here. Everything was filled up so I had no problem getting my salad. I have no real salad making skills so I just freestyle and toss in whatever I like. On the other side of the salad bar was a place with soup and chilli, I really want to try that the next time I come back. Self checkout was a breeze, I was in and out with no problem.

Yelp
This is by my favorite grocery store to shop at. I am so happy they moved and expanded the store. It is such a luxury to have a Starbucks inside as well as a decent sized hot/cold bar and organic section. Like a previous Yelper stated, Kroger is definitely giving Whole Foods a run for its money. With the Kroger card, you can get a pretty good discount off groceries and gas. All the employees are genuinely friendly and helpful. This is a pretty busy store, so be prepared for a packed parking lot.

Yelp
This is my favorite store. They always have what I need and are willing to help find things. It is very clean and has a great selection. I also love that they have a Starbucks in there so it makes shopping more enjoyable. There is also a super sweet manager of the Starbucks who always puts a smile on your face. Very thankful!

Yelp
Recent visits to this Kroger have been unpleasant during the checkout process, but today was the worst ever. There was only one register with a human checker and it had a crazy long line, do I used the self checkout, which kept hanging and saying help was on the way. When help FINALLY arrived, she had the same issues with the system. Kroger needs to either fix their systems or go back to human checkers.

Yelp
This store has problems with managing the check out registers and lines. Don't go here is you don't want to wait in line for over 30 minutes.

Yelp
I love this Kroger since the upgrade! They have a great natural and organic section, awesome produce, and fresh salad bar. They have the most self- checkout machines I've ever seen at a grocery store. The staff is very helpful whenever I need help. The place is always clean and smells fresh!(which is an absolute must for me) They have a wide selection of products - I never have to go to another store to find what I need. On weekends they give out samples of food sometimes. It's just a really good supermarket! Plus, the fuel points really add up fast!
