Krone

First time in this hotel and it was an amazing experience. The room we had was clean and very cosy. There was a carpet in the entire room, which made it feel even more cosy. The hotel is in the heart of Gerlingen, so everything is close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pizza in the hotel's restaurant was fantastic. Definitely a place to stay for more than one night.

Everything perfect except breakfast staff who seemed have forgotten that they worked in hospitality industry. Plus no fresh air in the restaurant and again staff didn't react for requests to turn on ventilation or open the windows. Very good check in and out process.

5 mins walk from Gerlingen station. Room is just ok. I got a room with an attic, but no fan nor cooler (air conditioning) Breakfast is the same every day. One can have it for max 3 days. Not more. I found some of the staff to be rude.

Excellent hotel! The rooms were clean and well appointed. The hotel owners and staff were always ready to provide for all of my needs. Located in the center of a quiet little town outside of Stuttgart. The restaraunt on the premises served excellent food, a variety of beverages and had a friendly and helpful wait staff.||I would stay there again anytime!

We stayed at the Hotel Krone while visiting a friend for the weekend. We booked the two room apartment which was across the street from the main hotel. The room that we had was newly renovated and very clean and spacious. The layout was somewhat odd, as one single bed was in the entry hall, but the main bedroom was really large, with a large bed, a small table and room for a baby bed. The bathroom was also really spacious and clean (probably because it is quite new) and had a heated towel rack. ||We didn't have breakfast as it wasn't included in our room rate. But there is a bakery just steps from the hotel. ||The parking was free and we didn't have any issues finding a spot in the back of the main hotel. ||The staff was really nice and offered to help us with our bags. They also walked us over to our room, since it was across the street. ||I guess we were lucky that our room was one of the newer ones. A friend stayed at the Hotel Krone another time and I saw that her room, while clean, looked like it was from the 1980s. I probably wouldn't pay so much for one of the older rooms, but I guess the updated apartments are nice. We did notice, however, that we could hear our neighbors very well... Maybe next time they could include some more sound proofing in the walls and ceilings! ||I wouldn't mind staying in the apartments again if visiting Gerlingen, but I'm not sure I'd want to pay 100+ euros per night for one of the older rooms.

The apartment was very nice and new. The area is a good location, with nearby shops and restaurants. The staff Petra is superb! The breakfast is amazing, lots of choices to choose from. Although, I think they need a bigger parking space for the guests of the restaurant and the hotel. We had lost a parking space twice even though we had booked.

Couldnt be more cozy! Especially the quietness and the nice breakfast area, with access to the frontyard. They also help you if you have to leave early, with prepared lunch boxes :))

We stayed here for one night on a drive back from Italy. The hotel is in the middle of the town and not very easy to find, although our stay coincided with a festival that made things more difficult than usual. The reception was very helpful, advising us on places to eat that evening. There are some good choices for food nearby. The hotel restaurant was closed when we were there. Our room was quite large, clean and well presented. It was unusually warm and there is no air conditioning in the room we had but it was quiet enough at night to open the window for some cooler air. There is parking available at the back of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice.
