I live in the area and came here only to try the so called "Impossible Burger", which is a vegan burger that was designed to imitate the flavor and looks of an original meat burger. The first thing I can definitely point out is that it is highly over priced. $19 for the burger + $2 if you want the bun to be vegan as well... Outrageously expensive. The burger does not come with any sides. It is served plainly on a small plate and a knife, and the burger is very small for the price they ask for. It is composed of the $2 vegan bun, the impossible vegan patty, a very tiny slice of lettuce, some vegan mayonnaise and pickles. It is not prepared in a nice looking way. Looks like a $3 cheap burger. As far as the taste, it did remind me of meat, which was not necessarily a good experience to me as a person who has been strictly vegan for almost 8 years. It tastes like death, as any meat product would. I believe it is the "blood" that they prepare in the laboratory and then add to the plant-based mixture that gives that taste. Not sure if the burger is prepared on a separate space from the other meat products they serve there, so can not guarantee that this is actually purely vegan. Summing up: ok for people who are maybe transitioning from a meat eating diet into plant-based who maybe still miss the taste (not my case), but wouldn't suggest this as a food to rely on or a health food, because it is definitely not healthy or affordable. Being vegan for a long time, I think that I would have never missed eating this burger. The positive aspect of this experience was to know for sure that I would never miss eating meat again in this lifetime.
