Incredible! Food was amazing- we had steamed dumplings, soft shell crab, red fish and crab fried rice. All were outstanding! The service was perfect and food was fresh and perfectly flavored. Wonderful experience. We will be back. Took a picture of the soft shell crab- forgot to photo the others and by the time I thought about it they were almost gone!!

Finally, more authentic Thai food in Austin, TX! I highly recommend the Isaan sausages, pork belly fried rice, and pad si eiw. I'm Thai, and Krua really helps with homesickness!

Stopped by for take away, food was prepared quickly. Very tasty- best Thai takeout I've come across in Austin so fat Also have excellent sit in dining area. Will be going back again

Tried this place for the first time the other night and was really impressed! Ordered spare rib appetizer (delicious) and the shrimp appetizer (ok). The entrees really delighted us! Yellow curry with chicken and pad se ew with pork. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Our server was friendly and helpful making recommendations. Cozy ambiance and tasty wine! Just what we needed on South Lamar! I’ll be back!

Went for lunch and absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is sophisticated, classy and meticulously designed. Smelled fresh and was extremely clean, too! My favorite part of the whole restaurant (aside from food) is the open kitchen where patrons can watch their food as it’s being prepped, cooked and made into beautiful plates of edible art! Food was beautifully displayed, ingredients were fresh, tasty and they allowed me to make substitutions! I went for the green curry, opted for no meat or tofu and substituted extra vegetables, jasmine rice, green tea Thai tea (omg!) and coconut ice cream for dessert! They make the ice cream in house and it is totally worth the money; both in portion and taste! I’d call this place a pearl. It’s hidden in an ugly building next to construction and so easy to miss, but once you walk through the door... it’s like a secret you feel rewarded for braving the odds to enter! Elegant date worthy. Important business deal worthy. Visiting friends and relatives worthy. I’ll eat here everyday because it’s that good... worthy!

Google
The food is good and actually has flavor and spice unlike all of Austin's other Thai options. That said, they follow the Austin tradition of atrocious service. Dishes take forever to be prepared and although the website says they do take out, the phone is rarely answered. The one time I did manage to get through on the phone to make a take out order it took 90 minutes for the order to be made. Pretty ok Thai, regular poor customer service.

There are many Thai choices in Austin, and this is one of the newest ones. We had dinner there, and it was fine. I can't really say that it was much better than any of the other Thai places though. Simple and modern decor. We will probably try this place again.

Google
My meal was good. I had the Tom Ka soup w/ tofu, brussel sprouts, and Krua Spicy Noodles w/ tofu. I asked them to tone down the spice a bit for me, and they were sent to accommodate. They were out of a few items, but none that I was going to get any way. It was a bit pricey for me to eat there often.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Loved the plants on the wall. Waitress was fantastic. W place

Yelp
Tasty, efficient and very accommodating for gluten free allergies! The food was very tasty and pretty big in portions, and came out quickly even during a busy period (6pm-ish). Great customer service, especially with their care for our gluten free diets. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
This place was amazing, ordered take out late around 10 and everything came out super fast, they had a gorgeous bar top seating we enjoyed while we waited for our food. Get the shumai for an appetizer maybe 2 orders since it's so good you probably won't want to share it. Also chicken pad Thai medium spicy level, so good. Food 10/10 (compliments to the chef) Ambiance 9/10 (a lil small inside but nice) Service 10/10 (she was on it, very nice and patient with us)

Yelp
I've been trying to come here for a while because I've heard such great things, and I'm a huge fan of Thai food. Unfortunately, I hate driving and Super Thai Cuisine is a little bit too far for me to have made the trek these past few weekends. Imagine my surprise when my company was lunch dropping from here! I ordered a pad thai and a pad see ew, and both were delicious. Pricing for lunch was also really good - $12-14 for each. Flavor of both were superb, and I really love the noodles of the pad see ew. They're not as soft or thick as typical flat noodle dishes. They're actually slightly more translucent, but they hold flavor really well. I want to try to come in person sometime to order their Thai tea and mango sticky rice. Definitely a really solid Thai place!

Yelp
After months of saying "we should go there" my partner and I finally visited Super Thai. I'm actually angry that we waited so long to try it because it is amazing! We happen to live near another Thai place down the road but that one is always a miss. Not Super Thai though! We split a bottle of sake and springs rolls and got our own entrees. I cannot remember what my partner got (it seemed like noodles in curry) but it was DELIGHTFUL! I ordered my regular Thai order (Pad See Ew) and it was 10/10. The spring rolls were also bomb; I contemplated drinking the peanut sauce because it was soooo good. Overall, it seems like a pretty poppin place so get reservations if you can or expect to wait. Important note: they validate for2 hours of parking!

Yelp
Chef's kiss! Absolutely loved this spot and will become a monthly rotation. We came on a Sunday evening around 5:00pm and had no problem finding a table. The interior is clean and intimate. Service was very kind as well. I got the red curry which was so good. I love the vegetables and extra chili oil to add on top. I will definitely order this again! My partner got the pad Thai, which was a huge portion. Also great: both dishes exceeded expectations and were very warm and comforting. There is a small parking lot off Lamar and the restaurant will validate parking for up to 2 hours (there's an iPad when you walk in that can enter your license plate to validate). I found this super helpful.

Steve S.

Yelp
The service was good. The food not so much. I've never had bad Thai food. This was a first. I never send back food and I had to. It tasted like bad soy sauce and noodles. I received something else. Again the food was bad. Both were flat noodles. The calamari was very heavy on the batter. They stay busy. Maybe the cooks and the people that order there should leave Austin and have more worldly meals.

Briana N.

Yelp
It gets a little busy around 7 but we arrived at 6 and were able to be seated immediately. Parking isn't too hard to find and the restaurant will validate it for up to two hours. We ended up getting the kao soi with chicken and an additional side of rice. We were able to customize the spice level which I loved. The sauce was so thick and creamy with a bit of a peanutty taste. It was so good, I'm glad we got the side of rice to just soak it all up. The two textures of the crispy noodles and noodles within the sauce were also amazing. We ended the meal with the mango sticky rice. Usually, whenever purple rice is used, it's still kind of hard. But this dish was the perfect texture and it literally came out steaming. It was also plated so beautifully, but because all of the mango was on the side, it was a little harder to eat. It kept slipping and sliding everywhere and some pieces fell off the plate.

Yelp
Tried this Thai place for the first time while on my visit to Austin and I wasn't disappointed! I am glad I found this restaurant. For starters, we ordered Tom yum soup (amazing) and shrimp spring rolls however there was a misunderstanding we wanted the crispy rolls and got the clear ones with peanut sauce I didn't like those it was bland but refreshing though. We ordered red chicken curry for main course that came with white jasmine rice and it was super delicious! Loved it we also had a chili dry sauce and hot sauce both were really tasty! The ambiance is casual and it's a small sit down place they offer parking validation for 2 hours. The service was good as well. Would definitely recommend trying this place out

Christina H.

Yelp
My partner and I have tried almost every Thai restaurant in Austin, so we figured we had nothing to lose by trying Super, especially since we were in the parking lot for Elementary (RIP). We ordered the Tom Yum Soup and the Pad See Eww, both at spice level 3. The Pad See Ew was almost there, but could use a few adjustments. It needed more sauce to properly coat the noodles, and a few more eggs for an added texture. Otherwise, the rice noodles were perfect (wide and flat) and were charred to perfection. Note: There are 5 levels of spice, and I regretfully wish I would have taken it a spice level down (FYI: I'm a spice fiend and felt this was spicier than my palette can normally handle)

Andrew P.

Yelp
One of my go to Thai restaurant in Austin if you're craving noodles that's open late. They some of the best thai noodle dishes, like pad thai & pad see ew, in Austin. The place is small and cozy, with an intimate setting. The staff are quick and attentive. Although it can be hard to find parking when it's busy. We tried the tom kha soup this time around & it was disappointingly salty. Feels like there are other thai places that does soup better.

Mira C.

Yelp
One of my go-to Thai places! Love their tuna appetizer, kao soi, and pad see ew. Love their peanut sauce that comes with their rolls. Parking can be a pain, though. Be careful not to get a ticket and get your parking validated.

Tanushri S.

Yelp
Super Thai is one of my favorite Thai Foods in Austin. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice with level 5 spice. I would recommend getting the Fried Rices on level 4 or 5 as they are not that spicy. We have also ordered the Pad Kee Mao with Tofu and Papaya Salad. Everything is packed with flavor. My biggest complaint is that the curries are not vegetarian. My go tos at any Thai restaurant is to get a curry so it was disappointing to not be able to try them. Service is great as usual! I recommend getting their Thai tea as well to get a complete meal. Lastly, we ended the night with the mango sticky rice which was amazing! Overall, I would come back!

Nicole P.

Yelp
Friendly service and good food! I love the basics here - drunken noodles, Thai tea, egg rolls. Food is always fresh and tastes good. This is a small place, honestly tables are a bit too close together. Great for a casual meal! You get in and out fast.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
It really is SUPER! Thai - consistently fresh, original, and delicious. Never a disappointing bite. New favorite - Crispy Duck (see: gorgeously moist, tender, and generously portioned with crisped skins) atop a spicy-sweet red curry and pineapple broth cut with basil & tomatoes. Crunchy red bell and spongy lychee floating in this dreamy mix with jasmine rice as an accent, only to hold & deliver the harmonious sauce. It's nirvana in one dish.

Kara M.

Yelp
Hands down some of the best Thai food I've had in Austin! A small, humble, true hole-in-the-wall spot cornered right next to Elementary, this place is serving up some incredible, authentic Thai dishes - everything from your classic pad Thai and pad see-ew to the more niche kao soi dish and other entrees, this spot is officially my favorite Thai spot and I can't wait to revisit! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, open, ample lot with QR code parking. You get 2 hrs. validated and do NOT have to pay for parking - simply enter the restaurant and input your license plate to get free parking during your visit, before you get seated! - Reservations? No, walk-ins only. It's a pretty small place so go early on weekends if you don't want to wait. - Takeout? Yes, they offer delivery through third party apps and curbside pickup for orders via phone. FOOD & DRINKS: - Thai teas (5/5): Big fan of Thai tea and this was the best! The Thai green tea is rare and I enjoyed it so much. I got mine with coconut milk instead of half and half. - Crispy spring rolls (4/5): Perfectly crisp and stuffed well. A good bite to start off your meal! - Pad see-ew (5/5): I usually go for pad Thai or pad see-ew, and tonight I was in the mood for the latter. This was some of the best pad see-ew I've had. A simple dish, but can be hit or miss at Thai places - this was cooked to perfection and had the most well-balanced sauce and incredible flavor. A must order! - Basil fried rice (5/5): The crispy basil was so tasty, and the rice was delicious! - Kao soi (5/5): This is a hard to find dish, as it's not as common around Austin. I've had it in Thailand but rarely find it in restaurants here, so I was thrilled this place had it, AND it was so good! We opted for chicken as the protein. Flavor was fantastic! A creamy curry noodle dish. Heavenly. - Mango sticky rice (5/5): The BEST mango sticky rice I've had anywhere! Love that they make it in the shape of a heart, so cute!!!

Yelp
Decided to go here last minute as we tried to find food for dinner one night. It's a cozy place in South Austin that serves great Thai food! The service was quicker than we expected given how packed the restaurant was. They were also friendly and helpful! We had the basil fried rice with chicken, spring rolls, and brussel sprouts. Normally, I am not a huge fan of brussel sprouts but they prepared them in a very delicious way. The spring rolls were great and crispy. The rice was pretty yummy too. If you're in South Austin looking for some Thai food, this is definitely the place to go!

Bowie L.

Yelp
This place is a bit tight but has a nice ambience and tasty Thai food. We had the Son in Law eggs appetizer which was really unique and sweet with a crisp. I had a pad kee mow and it was very fragrant with generous meat. The only issue was there was only one restroom available during our visit and we spent a good portion of our meal just watching the restroom and trying to catch an opening but I'm sure that was just timing.

Yelp
Proper Thai food with correct ingredients. The service was quick. The restaurant is small but quick service. The parking is a smidge tricky......be careful!

Michael H.

Yelp
Had the Pad Prik Khing with beef and shrimp. About $20. Beef was better than shrimp. Don't need to pay the extra money for that in this dish. Quite good. Noodles were tender. Had a slight spicy kick, even without any extra sauce. Good size - full meal. Would be nice if they did some sort of happy hour, but they don't.

Stephy H.

Yelp
I'm from CA and I was pleasantly surprised to find such authentic Thai food here in Austin! The restaurant is super small and cozy. They don't do reservations so it can get busy during dinner rush. We were a group of 6 and waited about 20 mins for a table on a Sunday night. Every single dish we ordered was delicious! My favorites were Thai Basil Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao, and the Roasted Duck Curry. Everything was seasoned well and portions are generous! The Pad Thai was very good and perfectly cooked. I prefer my noodles a little saucy so it's not dry and flavorless. They executed the dish beautifully as the noodles were not breaking off and the sauce was coating every noodle. This place really surprised me with the quality of their food! It's better than some of the places I've tried in CA. Bravo!!! If I ever visit Austin again, I will be back to try more items from their menu.

Nicole E.

Yelp
Small parking lot, shared with other restaurants too. It's small inside. QR code isn't pulling up for me at all. Ordered the fresh basil roll with tofu, pad Thai fried tofu, hot and another Pad Thai with steamed tofu, added mixed veggies, medium spicy. $41.14 The fresh basil roll is good, a lot of lettuce, hint of basil leaf, vermicelli and slice of carrot. The peanut sauce is the better part of the app, flavorful beyond the peanut butter. Their bussing could use some work. The Pad Thai dishes were not medium or spicy at all, we got some dry chilis to add to it, which is a bit better. The mixed veggies: bok choy, big chunks of carrots, overcooked green beans, cucumbermushrooms, greek onions. Not a fan of the hard tofu bits. Food was average, as was the service.

Jordan A.

Yelp
My new favorite Thai restaurant in Austin! I've been in search of a great Thai restaurant in South Austin and thankfully stumbled onto Super Thai. It's a relatively cozy restaurant that always busy but somehow seems to never require a wait for a table, even on weekend evenings. The staff is all extremely friendly and attentive. As for the food, I have not had anything that was less than delicious over the multiple times we've returned. The highlights for me have been the red duck curry, the basil fried rice, the pad Thai with shrimp, the tom yum soup, and the larb moo. If you're a duck lover, the duck red curry is amazing with a great balance of sweetness and acid rounded out by the fatty duck. Order the basil friend rice to go with it and to eat with the curry. Only difficult part of this place can be parking but with a little searching you should be able to find a spot.

Dan C.

Yelp
An easy to-to for flavorful, reliable, and friendly any-occasion Thai. A great cozy Tha spot on South Lamar whether to eat-in or take-out, Super Thai is on the more authentic end for the area's Thai options -- serving both staples and specialties. The narrow space is casual but inviting, service is straightforward, friendly, and zippy. Notably, very convenient for being open late (midnight Fridays and Saturdays) for the munchies. There is a parking lot, though it's shared with others and can be hit or miss.

Thomas R.

Yelp
My friend recommend Super Thai to me, so when my parents came to town (and offered to foot the bill) I knew I had to try it. We were immediately impressed by the quaint interior and the energy both on the floor and in the kitchen. That's about as good as it got. Our server was prompt, but seemed to really not want to be there that evening. She was low-spirited and seemed down the whole night, and honestly brought down the mood (disclaimer: there was another server who came to our table a few times, and she was nice!). My mom, brother, and I got the pad thai, which was honestly pretty good. That is, until my brother found piece of bone in his chicken. And then I did. And then my mom did. Their chicken supplier has got to be the worst de-boner in the state of Texas, because all three of us were gagging on bones the whole night. My brother's dish was so bone heavy that he sent it back, and then his new pad thai dish also had bones. To this day Super Thai's boney pad thai is still an inside joke with my family. Aside from the bone-heavy meal and the dejected waitress it was a good experience though. If you have a good server and less bones in your food I imagine it would be a really solid Thai place.

Danny J.

Yelp
You can park in the parking lot and validate inside with your license plate number. Ambience is more like a hole in the wall type of a place. Initial glasses that we were given for water had a bad smell to it. Pad Thai was pretty good. The red curry was interesting, because it had a slight taste of Indian butter chicken.

Allison E.

Yelp
Food was delicious and service was fast and excellent. They had a gluten free and a vegan menu. Pad Thai with pork belly was some of the best we've had with large portions. Intimate casual atmosphere, tables are very close together but at 6 on a Friday we were seated right away. Wish we lived closer, would like to be a regular.

Minh D.

Yelp
I like this place but all in all it's missing something for me. I have tried a few things: tom yum soup, green curry, and pad woon sen (sauteed fried bean thread noodles). The noodles were not too flavorful but heavy on the smokiness and taste greasy. Similar stories with the curry and soup, lacking flavor and tasted a little watered down. My bf had the massaman curry and he liked it but not as much as Sap's. The service was attentive and staff were friendly.

Gabriella G.

Yelp
Very good food! My daughter always like to surprise me with her finds and this time we went to Super Thai. Parking was a bit confusing, the parking spots are marked "take out only" but there is a sign up inside where you can write up your car and no harm will happen, you can eat in peace. Once past this hurdle, we ordered 2 appetizers, 1 small soup and 1 entree with an extra white rice (for 3) and were happy to have a tiny bit of room for dessert: the main dishes are big! We even took some home. We got the chive dumplings and the chicken and shrimp siu mae for appetizers, and the Super Bamboo with an extra side of white rice. Everything was very good. The super bamboo was spicy (hot) and very tasty, but we did need the extra rice to be able to continue... it was right there on the limit of "too hot" so be aware of this. The chives appetizer was very tasty, although it looked weird, and I am not a fan of onions. It came with a slightly sweet sauce that helped balance the flavors. The siu mai was also very rich and tasty- so we were quite full after these appetizers. I also got a small wantan soup that had more pork and beef dumplings so I was very stuffed. Finally- we ordered dessert! We got both available sticky rice desserts! One came with a pudding, it was good, but my favorite was the sticky rice with mango ! Yummmy! We will certainly come again! Enjoy!

Karson S.

Yelp
My quest to find good Austin Thai restaurants has been difficult, but Super was a welcome victory in this endeavor. A quaint little restaurant with a slightly elevated feel, I walked in an was immediately excited. On a Wednesday night it was fairly busy, but we were seated almost immediately. I got the Thai tea and the Pad Thai, and my boyfriend got the crab fried rice. The tea was good until the ice melted and watered it down (so drink fast) but WOW the entrees were excellent! Truly the best crab fried rice I've had. And the pad Thai with a spicy level 3 had a bit of a kick but was also creamy just like I've been looking for. The pad Thai portion was also more than enough to take home for seconds (which I look forward to later). Parking lot is tight so just be prepared. Otherwise Super was really good & will probably be our new go to for good Thai

Valerie Deanna C.

Yelp
I'm not sure if my taste buds were off or what, but that Pad Woon Sen here missed the mark. There were hardly any glass noodles in my dish. To be fair, they were heavy handed with the tomatoes and fried tofu, but the balance with this dish's ratio of noodles to vegetables was way off. Call me crazy, but it also seemed like the fried tofu was starchy and gummy on the inside ??? from maybe not being drained properly before frying? This menu is also very limited and not very reflective of the full range of dishes you normally see at Thai restaurants. I don't mind this, but if you only have a few items, they should be rockstars, full of flavor, well executed and worth their space on the menu. Service was kind but spotty. The atmosphere is romantic but the place is extremely small/tight. The fresh spring rolls were delightful...3 for $8, aromatic with basil and a nice curry-laden peanut dipping sauce to go with it. For now, 3 stars for this place but I really don't see myself coming back.

Kjell S.

Yelp
This is my second visit here. The first was awesome. I was yet again incredibly happy with my experience. I drove right past it I think both times. QR code pay parking was a new addition. My first time was in January. ***The restaurant has a kiosk inside where you enter your license plate to validate your parking*** Just enter before you head to your table. We had excellent service last time, and this trip was no different. I decided on Tom Yum soup with shrimp which had an excellent balance of spice with sour. My dad ordered the Tamarind Duck. I was torn, because the first time I ordered the Duck Red Curry. It was so good. I had to try something else. Gaeng Massaman & Boneless Beef Short Ribs. I asked for rice and roti. The roti was incredibly fresh and warm. So delicious. I would also order this again. I've yet to taste anything here that has not been amazing from first taste to last taste. The layout of the restaurant is a straight shot: booth on one side, chair on the other side. If you're in South Austin and have never tried Super Thai Cuisine, what are you waiting for?

Emily P.

Yelp
I love how I am continually blown away by the Thai food offerings in Austin. This place is beautiful inside and so comfortable. I'm a larger person so I'm not usually a fan of the seating where you have to slide in next to another table, but somehow I didn't feel smushed in here. We tried so many things. The Tom Kha is ridiculous though. I am salivating just recalling how delicious it is. Now I need it. Ugh. I live in Lockhart and have driven into Austin for this. Just go there. The takeout was just as amazing. Highly recommend! You can go next door to the Golden goose for a drink if you need to wait for a table. Win win!

Jack G.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai spots in Austin as an Asian food lover! It is a small interior with limited parking outside but if you manage to get inside it is worth it for the food and friendly service. Try the crab fried rice and of course any of their curries and pad Thai.

Stephen B.

Yelp
Super Thai has been on my radar for the past few months. I finally made a solo lunch date. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and larb salad. Both were solid. I admit recently making larb for the first time, and found mine to be superior. The menu had a great deal of variety, and I will make a return. Solid spot for Austin.

Brittany E.

Yelp
A friend and I had a craving for Thai and decided to come check this place out for dinner one night. We split three different appetizers: Ahi Scoops, Fried Calamari, and Tod Mun Pla. The Ahi Scoops had a really nice flavor, especially with the added sauce on the side. The scoops were my favorite of the three apps. The Calamari was suuuper tender and had a good breading to squid ration. It was my friend's favorite app. The Tod Mun Pla (fried fish cakes) were good but had a little too much chew to them for my taste. I would order them again but maybe ask them to be fried a little longer. For our meals, my friend got the Pad See Ew (spicy level 3) and I got a bowl of Tom Yum soup. The Pad See Ew was really tasty but too spicy for my blood. I'd be fine with a 2, but 3 is starting to burn. The Tom Yum soup was solid. I would rank it in my top 3 around town for sure. Our server was very friendly and accommodating and the food came out quickly. My ONLY complaint was that the restaurant was really hot inside. Having dinner at 6pm on a 108 degree day doesn't help, I'm sure, but just a note for people considering Super Thai for dinner. Maybe eat a later dinner or early lunch when the outside temps aren't so high. :)

Yelp
Top-notch Thai food and relaxing dining vibes at this OPEN LATE joint in south Austin!! Went here on a Saturday with friends and we ordered 3 different curries -- each one slapped! My favorite and the best one was the egg noodles in yellow curry served with crispy noodles, it looked like a work of art and tasted better than any Thai curry I've ever had. Ordered a side of butter roti because this is the first place that had it on the menu and the combination was so perfect I don't know why other places don't serve that -- really nice Indian-Thai fusion! Have to highlight the incredibly attentive service -- the place was packed but our server did the rounds to make sure we had everything we needed. He was so good at his job that while I was emptying the water bottle they serve on all tables, he walked back with a refill! That timing was immaculate and we were very pleased with our service! This place is going to become a staple for late-night hangs because there are so few places open late in Austin and even fewer that serve delicious food!

Zachary C.

Yelp
I am only leaving this review to help other guys like me in search for delicious Thai food. This place was ok. Server was kinda nice but rushed us. I consider myself a sticky rice man. It was not great.

Tina M.

Yelp
A friend of mine recommended that we try Super Thai Cuisine and so our little group went there for lunch on a weekend. Surprisingly the place wasn't too jam packed and we could all sit and enjoy a meal without delay (yay!) We were pleased to find a large variety of options for all sorts of dietary preferences. All of us found something we liked. I went with a pad thai and did not regret my choice. My husband chose a curry which tasted equally good. My friends liked their dish as well. We loved that we could curate how spicy we wanted our meals, too. When I asked for extra spice, the kind waitress brought us not one but three options. I felt really catered to! My husband and I both ordered a Vietnamese coffee and what came out of the kitchen was a gigantic coffee that was at least twice as tall and voluminous as what I expected to be served. It was a lot, and I took note that next time it should be shared, not individually orded. I enjoyed my experience at Super Thai. When I first walked in I wasn't sure what to expect but I was very positively impressed by the quality of the food and the service that day. I will certainly be back in the future!

Jon H.

Yelp
I'm giving this place 5 stars because it was good, portions were good size for price and the service was great. I was told it's more authentic Thai than other places but I'm not sure what I was expecting to elaborate more. I got the super fried rice which for me had too many of ions and greens. It was good, but not my preferred style of fried rice. My friend got the yellow curry and really enjoyed it. The place is small so it might be extremely busy during peak hours.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Good solid Thai spot when you're in need of your fixe! Pad see ew and their curries are the way to go. Got their wings and calamari to wash it all down and Thai coffee to wash it all down. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I discovered this restaurant in downtown Austin the other day after a theater night out. It was around 10:00pm and we were craving for some Thai food - turned out it was the only place opened until late night. The restaurant is located on a plaza where a plenty of parking spaces are around. We entered the restaurant around 10:30pm and it was about 1/3 full. The whole vibe was chill and hipster. Servers were all friendly and attentive - they were also able to customize the spicy level I requested for our curry dish. We ordered a shrimp fried glass noodles and a roast duck curry (half duck - generous portion). Both dishes were delicious - the glass noodle was a little too salty for me but the roast duck red curry was exceptional!! I'd go back just for the duck The restaurant opens until 2am Thursdays - Saturdays and they also have a nice bar area on one side so if you're craving for some thai food + drinks at late nights, you should definitely give super thai a try!

Yelp
Not impressed. Ordered some takeout here the other night for an easy meal; at least it was quick. Pad See Ew was dry and flavorless and the noodles were a tad leathery. Had to fry an egg and find hot sauce to enjoy it. I also had the Khao Soi. When she asked what type of meat I was confused because I've only ever had it with a chicken leg. To my chagrin the chicken was just your boilerplate Thai chicken slices. The flavor of the broth was also... different. It was spicy and better than the Pad certainly, but when my gf said it tasted like hot Doritos, I had to agree. Maybe I'll need to try another night. The Duck curry looks good, but expensive. Oh well.

Yelp
I found my forever new Thai spot!! Wow was the food so flavorful and fresh! You have to try the basil rolls (we had tofu rolls), I loved how much basil they rolled in them. The menu is on the pricy side but it's so worth it because the portions are HUGE! I could barely finish half of the pad Thai. There's a giant parking lot in the back of the building, which is convenient. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so if you go during peak hours you can expect to wait a little bit, but trust me, it's worth it!

Yelp
Super Thai is a great spot and in my most recent experience very delicious. One aspect that makes Super Thai great is they are open late night (midnight) a majority of the week. In my latest experience my girlfriend and I both ordered noodle dishes and loved them. My Pad Kee Mow was bursting with traditional Thai flavors and really surprised me with how complex the umami and flavor profile was. My girlfriend also really enjoyed her dish. I had ordered double beef and was still a little disappointed with the quantity of protein I received but overall left satisfied. In my very first time trying this spot, nearly a year ago, I ordered the yellow curry and also was underwhelmed with the portions I received, granted it was to go. Overall, service was good and inside is small, casual and modern. Glad I tried this place again and will likely be sticking to the same order next time I go.

Yelp
Came here after ACL and it was so delicious!! I love that they're open until midnight and we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. We ordered the chive potstickers and Tom kha soup for appetizers. The chive potstickers were so unique and so flavorful we loved it!! The Tom kha soup was lacking some flavor but was still pretty yummy especially with the mushrooms, the coconut milk was just taking away from the other flavors for me. For entree we got gaeng dang with chicken and khao soi and both were so delicious and nice and spicy!! I loved super Thai the only thing is that the restaurant is pretty small so minimal seating and it was really cold right by the door.

Yelp
The place is small, so expect a wait. But the food is worth it. Especially recommend the kao soi gai and the pad Thai. Ask for the chili oil and sambal on the side!

Yelp
Appetizer and dessert were AMAZING. i ordered the veggie supreme which was okay but my boyfriend ordered the pad Thai with chicken and it was fantastic. He chose the spice level 4 but it wasn't that spicy so maybe order a 5 if you really like spicy

Yelp
Good service! Very lively place. However, some food items are hit or miss. Their pad see ew is great, but the pad Thai is a bit on the bland side.
