I've now eaten here twice, and had an excellent experience both times. The restaurant is very spacious, clean and bright, with k-pop music playing in the background -- but not so loudly you can't have a good conversation there. The waitress/waiter asked if it was our first time, and patiently explained the process. The first time we chose both the BBQ and hotpot (there's an extra $5.00 fee for each person if you do so). The second time I recommended we order just the hotpot, as I found the food just stuck to the BBQ grill. They then ask your flavor of broth, and then you order the ingredients. I was impressed that there was a very wide selection to choose from. There were the expected food options, like the thinly-shaved beef, but also more authentic unusual choices, like beef tongue, quail eggs, and lotus root. Then you make your own sauce and choose appetizers from the cold bar. I loved the selection of fresh fruit there -- I couldn't stop eating the watermelon. And each time I came there seemed to be different (but also delicious) choices for appetizers. Once the broth came, we waited for it to boil, which didn't take long, as it comes out hot. And then we just boiled the food, sharing each other's selections, as they bring enough for the whole table, added our sauce, and enjoyed. All told, everything was very efficient, well-thought out, fresh, authentic, and plentiful. Would strongly recommended it for a fun hands-on, all-you-can-eat dining experience!!!!!!
