I had a really great experience at Ku-Va Restaurant & Bar inside Miami International Airport. You don’t usually expect airport food to stand out, but this place was honestly impressive. The food came out fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented—definitely one of the better meals I’ve had while traveling. A big shoutout to Luis, who was extremely friendly and attentive from the moment I sat down. He made sure everything was right and checked in without being pushy. The rest of the staff were also kind and professional, which made the atmosphere relaxed even though the airport was busy. The menu has a good variety of Cuban and Latin-inspired options, and everything looked appetizing. My dish came out quickly, which is perfect when you’re catching a flight. You can tell the team works well together and genuinely wants to give travelers a good experience. If you’re flying through MIA and want a real meal instead of just fast food, I definitely recommend Ku-Va. Great service, great food, and a warm, welcoming vibe. It made my layover way better than expected—thank you again to Luis and the team!

The Cuban sandwich with fries was so tasty! The ham and pork were both moist and juicy and the pork was nicely seasoned. The roll it was served on had a nice crunch on the outside, as it should, but still soft and fresh on the inside. And the best part....it was located right next to our gate at Miami International Airport.

What an amazing treat in the Miami airport! Great Cuban food and killer mojitos. Go see the host Jose Rene del Pozo. He is a genuine character and used to be an actor in Cuba. Nice relaxed atmosphere, great drinks and really good authentic food. Entire bar staff was awesome. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyed a delicious Cuban Sandwich with a side of Tostones for lunch while waiting for my flight. The Cuban themed decor was a nice touch, but the restaurant could use an update. I recommend this place as the service and food were very good compared to other establishments at the Airline Terminal.

My god that flank skirt steak with the chimmy churri was delicious, I also never expected fried plantains to taste so good, the dish was wonderful and I would highly recommend it. It is worth coming back to whenever I have some time at MIA.

The service was excellent. The food was delivered quickly. The drinks were spot on. Everything about our first experience to MIA led us to revisit again on our way back through MIA.

Food was presented well but not as flavorful as we had hoped. Service was fine, though the server cleared plates and glasses right away, which made us feel a bit rushed. Prices were slightly high, but that’s expected in Miami’s airport. They also automatically added an 18% service fee. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you are passing through.
