The honey wheat bread is good, the cinnamon raisin is AMAZING. Sells out very quickly. I liked the pimento cheese too. I don’t like their kitchen and home goods, you can find them anywhere.

Fruitcakes are not liked by most people, but my mother-in-law and husband love them. I have made them over the years, but the ingredients are hard to find. Kudzu bakery makes the BEST fruitcakes. My family loves them and I hope they make them next year. I will double my order

Such an excellent bakery! Everything I’ve ever had here is great. I especially like is the dark chocolate cake with chocolate icing because it isn’t too sweet.

My uncle loves the Key Lime Pie from this place but they offer no delivery options, including Door Dash and Uber. I live in Maryland now, but my aunt and uncle are still in Mt.Pleasant and I wanted to send a get well pie to them. I emailed Kudzu and called to see if there was anyway to work out a delivery or even a local shipping and was met with crickets via email and a giggle and "um, no" from one of their staff. If anyone in the Mount Pleasant area wants a terrific Key Lime Pie delivered, Gold Belly offers excellent choices, including from Key West, for not much more than the Kudzu Pie and your loved ones will be so impressed.

Kudzu is a wonderful bakery, however, very disappointed that they've stopped making the home and thin cookies. They were their signature and and they're wonderful. Bring them back please 🥴

Pastries and prepared foods are really good. I go in at least once a week. I'm not sure if they even recognize me.Not the friendliest staff. They're not mean but they don't smile much. I still recommend going.

The cookies are the best around in the area. They have Oatmeal raisin, sugar, peanut butter, chocolate chip cookies. The chess pie is very delicious and is a must try. They have the best dessert in the Mount pleasant area and they are well with the drive. They also have a chicken Cordon blue appetizers in their frozen section that are also one of my favorites to pickup.
