We looked for an Asian fusion restaurant in DTLA and found this little gem, Kues Restaurant.
Valet parking is convenient and affordable. $10.
The service is good and all the restaurant staff we met were friendly and professional. Warm greeting, timely service and happy to provide a great dining experience.
The ambiance is inviting and cozy. Warm yellow pendant lighting. Clear, glass pendants hanging at various lengths. Somewhat dark but quiet. Very classy place.
The star of the show is definitely their food. We were hungry and was pleased to hear about their happy hour menu. Pork belly, edamame, dumplings, salmon, Brussels sprout…EVERY item was delicious and served at the perfect temperatures. Then we had Pad Thai, pepper beef, pork ribs, green beans, fried rice…again, EVERY dish was amazingly yummy! We had our fill but I’m pretty certain I could have had another Xiao Long Bao (pork dumplings). I’ve been told those are the specialty at Kues. Clearly! I could’ve made a whole meal on those alone!
We were pleasantly surprised and definitively coming back…soon! Many, many thanks Kues for a delectable dining experience!
