I have been a many times, usually when I am craving for some Korean food or just want something easy. It is located at the right side when you enter the supermarket, most of the times there is not a wait. Their menu consists of appetizers, authentic Korean dishes, specialty wings, soups, beverages, etc. I have never encountered an issue here thanks to their welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs. Everything is pretty much made to order which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a Korean spot, if you want to try something new or if you want a laid back spot to dine at. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

I've been going here for years, and I'm happy to report that nothing much has changed. I think nowadays we mostly just do take-out and eat at home. While we wait, we do some shopping. Depending on what you order, some things are pricy, so we only come here occasionally. This time around, I ate here with my family. Once you walk in, you're seated right away. It doesn't really give a welcoming vibe, but it's pretty chill. They have plenty of seating, and it's minimally decorated. If you look to your left, you can see some people prepping the grab and go lunches/meals in the store. The food is always made fresh and made to order, so be patient. They bring everything out as it's done. They also provide you with hot tea right away. We ordered: 1. Lunch kal bi - May seem pricey, but I feel it's standard for any Korean restaurant. It comes out sizzling when they place it on the table. The meat was very tender and flavorful. It comes with a scoop of rice and 4 side dishes. 2. Pork soft tofu - This is one of my brothers' go-to dishes. It is nice and hot during this cold winter morning we've been having. Place the raw egg on top, and it cooks right away. Vey good comfort food. 3. Sushi regular - The sushi was fresh and rice perfectly cooked. I loved the variety they provide as well. 4. Original mixed chicken wings - I think you can't go here without ordering it. This time around, we ordered mixed, which is wings, drumettes, and boneless. This takes a little while. It was the last to arrive, actually. It was definitely piping hot, cooked perfectly, and so crunchy. 5. Kimchi fried rice - I ordered this to go for my husband, and it was a huge portion. It had the perfect amount of spice that just kept you wanting to eat more. Overall, it was a good experience. We beat the lunch rush, so it was pretty quiet.

The quality of their food is consistent and tastes authentic. Good value for the money especially for lunch. Their staff is always friendly.

This place is inside the Korean market. Limited parking and limited pay street parking. Cleanness is about average. Seats are also limited maybe about 10 tables. Foods: Side dishes are good and good favor, but very small portions, no refill or have to pay extra for refills. Tofu soup: ordered combination tofu soup but it's a little plain and it's not hot enough to cook the raw egg. Fish egg one is flavorful and good temperature. I would say tofu soups are 3.5 stars.

I’m Asian and I really love eating Korean foods, I have been tried a lot of Korean foods and through my experiences I think this restaurant is really take my heart because the food is great delicious and we also can go to Korean supermarket when we finished.

We decided not to order and got up to leave apologizing. A staff member had already set disposable chopsticks and tissues on the table, so I took them with me, thinking it was no big deal. Next thing I know, she’s chasing me down the store to grab them out of my hand! How is that even sanitary—especially since I had already touched them. What was she even going to do with 2 pieces of tissue I already had my hands all over on? She could have simply informed me not to take them next time. I hope this situation gets addressed, as a staff like that can affect the image of the restaurant.

Delicious Korean restaurant tucked inside a Korean supermarket. Fast, friendly service and reasonably priced. Everything we’ve tried is great! Our go-to Korean spot.

I've been hearing about this place for a long time. my bowling mates decided to go there for one of our weekly lunches . I was very surprised how quickly and deliciously the food is. If you like authentic Korean go to Kukge Grill..it's ono🤙

Yelp
Seafood jjamppong was surprisingly flavorful and good for a restaurant inside a supermarket, would get again :) Sadly no pictures because was hungry and forgot I'd skip the tangsuyuk next time (not as flavorful) We poured on the sauce ourselves - we are not monsters

Yelp
No frills restaurant located inside Kukje Super Market serving Korean as well as Japanese food. We ate here before shopping at the market before and had a good experience, so decided to have lunch again on a Saturday. Even though it was empty, service was extremely slow. Our order: BBQ Beef & Vegetable in Stoneware Bibimbap ($22.95): +Rice was cooked well: Fluffy with crispy rice on the bottom +Plenty of crunchy bean sprouts and vegetables +Sunny side up egg added richness after being mixed in. +Seasoned well -Less beef than last time Jajangmyun with Seafood ($14.95): +Noodles were the perfect QQ texture: Not mushy and overcooked. +Shredded cucumber added crunch and freshness. -Sauce tasted burnt and had a smoky aftertaste -Seafood tasted fishy. *My fave version is located at a spot in SF's Inner Sunset that's famous for dry-fried chicken wings (IYKYK). Complimentary: 1.) Barley tea: +Nutty and toasty -Tea cups were hot to the touch, so they were hard to hold. 2.) Banchan: Bean sprouts, kimchi, pickled yellow radish, shredded squid, stir-fried fish cake +Stir-fried fish cake was my fave: Not fishy at all and well-seasoned. +Bean sprouts, kimchi, pickled yellow radish were crunchy. -Shredded squid tasted fishy. 3.) Miso soup: It was fine (they have a machine that looks like those juice machines except it dispenses miso soup instead). Other items I tried during my previous visit: +Seafood Korean Pancake Side notes: 1.) Restrooms located at the back of the market. 2.) Free parking lot *Verdict: 3 stars for the food, but 1 star for their deceptive practices. We paid with credit card, and we were charged more than what we wrote on the receipt. Even though it was only a few dollars, the fact that they did that makes me never want to go back. Next time, I'll eat lunch somewhere else before going to the market.

Yelp
Even at the "lunch special" price ($34), the galbi is a terrible value--it's a small portion for the price, and the meat is tough and flavorless. Imagine paying $10 more for the same audaciously overpriced, below-average dish for dinner. The measly four side dishes are also below average, and they're tiny portions. Sub-par service. Don't waste your money and time here. There are better quality options elsewhere, e.g. Han Il Kwan in SF. I should have known better to check my own review from 5 years ago.
google avatar

Yelp
Well, the review in the paper was good but I should have checked Yelp before a visit here. The service was good and food came quickly. Banchan was pretty minimal but ok. We got try soft tofu stew with pork and mushrooms and kitchen. Very average and not even close to Manna's. I always order medium spicy and it really wasn't spicy . The broth had very little flavor but the pork was tender. The bill came to 50$ with tip and that was way too much for below average tofu stew inside a supermarket restaurant with absolutely no atmosphere. Not going back - but the market was good.

Yelp
The portions are small for what you pay for but that was whatever. Issue is, they came out of the restaurant and demanded a higher tip when I already left some. Mind you, I was halfway across the store already. Tips are once again supposed to be appreciated not expected or forced. Especially asking for a higher amount?? Crazy world we live in and literally makes me wanna write zero for all tips from now on.

Faye S.

Yelp
To start, they are only open till 9pm, not till 10pm as advertised here. Kitchen closes 2 minutes before 8:35pm per the front staff with matching dirty looks from the other guy behind the counter. Really hated how he looked at us. Like I'm sorry I ruined your Friday night! We walked in tonight at 8:32pm. We were told we "have to order now". No problem we already knew what we wanted even before we walked in (fried chicken and kimchi fried rice) . Only to be dismissed mid-sentence when we asked if they can serve chicken. Service here used to be great regardless of how busy they get. What happened??? With Jagalchi around, guess who's gonna have my business now. Very disappointed with these newer staff. What happened to the sweet and petite Asian lady who did pretty much everything in this restaurant??? These guys need to be retrained for customer service srsly..

Yelp
Proper Korean meal & you can always get a table. It's not a going out to eat at a restaurant experience. It's more like a cafeteria. But the food is very good.

Ezekiel M.

Yelp
Never in my life a waiter will run out to tell us that the tip wasn't enough. THAT IS CRAZY! They offered bare minimum service and I don't think they were deserving to get a tip at all

Yelp
The value you pay for and the food quality you get makes it worthy. For quick eats, this is where I like going.

Yelp
This restaurant is very convenient if you get hungry while shopping in the Kukje Market. The menu is very extensive. There was a lot of good offerings to choose from. We came in for a late lunch. It was not crowded at all and we were seated immediately. We ordered Gal Bi Tang, Soft Tofu with Assorted Mushroom Soup, Kimbap, and the complimentary Banchan. We also received a complimentary Miso Soup. The Gal Bi Tang was delicious, the meat very tender although the soup was a bit oily. My hubby devoured the Soft Tofu and Assorted Mushroom Soup. He said it was very tasty and hit the spot. The Kimbap was yummy. The Banchan was appetizing and mouthwatering. The quality is good but not great like Han Il Kwan, our fave. The service was professional, and very swift. The waitress was very personable. The cook brought out the food on a wheeled cart. He announced the name of the dish. The servings are very generous; we brought home leftover Gal Bi Tang and Kimbap. The ambiance was nice with fast moving service. Parking can be tough; we parked on the street as the parking lot is usually very congested. The restaurant doesn't have its own restroom. If nature calls, you will be using the markets restroom which was very dirty. There was paper all over the floor, they were out of seat covers and paper towels. The line was 3 deep, I was tempted to use the men's!!

Yelp
Went to this place yesterday, I will never go back again. We ordered some spider roll, it was very terrible, I did ask the lady if the roll was just made by order or made long time ago, it was very cold, if they just made it, the soft-shell crab supposed to be warm because they need to deep fried and the worst was the seaweed that wrapped the roll, very damp and chewy. I better to read the reviews before I went there now a bit regret. No wonder why they got a 3 star reviews.

Yelp
Stopped in for a very late lunch/early dinner the other day while shopping. The menu is quite large and service was quick. When we arrived we were one of two tables but a few other parties came in while we were there. I had the stone pot bibimbap w/beef and my SO had sushi which was three large rolls (tuna, cucumber and avocado IIRC). Prices are a little high but portions are large so you could easily have enough for a second meal if you're not a big eater or super hungry. Both meals came with miso soup and banchan with kimchi, cuttlefish, broccoli and tofu and sesame bean sprouts. Everything was good. My bibimbap was piping hot with a nice crispy rice bottom, the veggies were fresh and the meat was tasty. My SO liked his sushi as well. I'm sure we will be back.

Yelp
Very convenient since the restaurant is within the supermarket. I love the doorbell at the table that you ring to get service. Very convenient and reminiscent of Korea. The server was very nice and accommodating of dietary restrictions for my party. Food is pretty standard. The galbijim was good in flavor but the ribs could've been braised longer. Also would've liked the portion to be bigger but the price is slightly cheaper than some other places so the portion is justified. Tofu soup and fried chicken are also standard but good. Their fresh fried chicken tastes A LOT better than the pre-packed trays from the market deli. They used to allow half half chicken but now I was told only one flavor per order. I'd recommend for a quick and standard, no-frills Korean meal.
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
The premade Chicken Wings is cheaper but I like the fresh made better. I like the crispy skin and on the side dish it came with sweet and sour radishes. Yum!!! Today I ordered one Soy Sauce Chicken Wings and also I grabbed four Rolls for lunch. About the customer service - no particular person at the register. You have to find them. Lol!!! Recommended!!!!!

Yelp
The food is solid if you're looking to grab some Korean food quickly. Layout of the place is pretty small but that's no big deal. Standard restaurant especially when it's in a grocery store. However, what was off-putting was the attitude and reaction of the waitress. We only had enough to pay for the meal but not tip so the waitress was upset. I get it. I worked in food service before. No tips suck. But complain in private, don't give the customer a negative experience.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times. It's tiny inside, and it has a very Korean homey feeling. It's located in side the Kukje Market. Reminds me of the korean dramas I used to watch. The service is good. They're very attentive to their customers. The food is good too. The stone pot foods are my favorite since I love my food super hot.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
I really like their kimchi because it is really mild. Came to eat the fried chicken choices: chicken meat, drumette, wings, or mix? Got the mix. Yummy, very hot. It's not that greasy. Got seafood tofu soup. Yummy, too. Comes with rice and bancha. Bancha is a small plate of kim chi, cuttle fish, bean sprouts, and beancurd. Complimentary tea. The lady single-handed covering all the tables. Taking orders, serving, and clearing. Amazing.
google avatar

Clifford W.

Yelp
The parking lot is always full. Sometimes, just find a meter after 6 pm and eat there. Food is average to very good. Today, original fried chicken wings mixed were average. Tempora was very good. Bone soup with beef and noodles was good. The service was excellent. No ambiance, as this is just a cafe. Overall, 4 stars out of 5.
google avatar

Devin S.

Yelp
Go to for premade meals and produce! Restaurant on site is great and the hot meals are always super good. Take home sushi good quality!
google avatar

Sherry D.

Yelp
The food here tastes like your average yet classic Korean food. I have had better Korean food at other Korean restaurants before, but I would not mind coming back here if I am craving for Korean food and this is the only place near me. However, the Korean fried chicken is the best dish out of all the dishes since it's extremely crispy, flavorful, piping hot, and juicy. Therefore, I recommend to get their Korean fried chicken for anyone coming here to eat.
google avatar

Kaitlyn I.

Yelp
Recently discovered there was a restaurant inside the Kukje Supermarket. I tried the original fried chicken and the Dok Mandu Gug. The fried chicken was so crispy and you get to choose a dipping sauce to go with it. The rice cake soup had good flavor and the rice cake was the perfect texture. I'm so glad I found a restaurant that sells the rice cake soup since I don't know many places that do! They have an assortment of Korean food and I would recommend checking the restaurant out next time you shop at Kukje! Went on a weekend during lunch and there were plenty of tables!!

Yelp
Kukje Market Restaurant is a convenient restaurant located within the Korean supermarket which serves a nice variety of Korean foods. They start everyone off with a cup of hot tea as well as a tray of banchan per person. The banchan has four items, each of which I found quite enjoyable. There are a good variety of food to the menu here including kalbi, japchae, soondubu, korean fried chicken, bibimbap, and much more. The prices can be a slight bit higher than other places. I usually opt for their soondubu which is a delicious spicy tofu stew with a decent amount of ingredients inside. They offer a raw egg and white rice on the side with each stew. It's nothing exceptional but is still pretty good overall. The real draw is really having a convenient sit down spot to enjoy a good meal before or after doing some grocery shopping.

Yelp
Kukje Market relocated from the outer SF years ago and I never knew they relocated to nearby Daly City until a few years ago. Interior could use a good update though they seem to keep everything clean. It's one of those markets where you have to know what you're looking for in food products or prepare to look over the whole store to find it. They are our go-to for pre-marinated Korean short ribs to throw on the grill. And our go-to for banchans like seaweed salad, spicy cucumber or regular Kimchi, soy sauce boiled eggs or anchovies, etc. Steam a pot of rice, kimchi, seaweed salad, and that's a quick meal any day of the week! This is also where I first experienced Korean fried chicken and it's pretty good for takeout for a snack or add to a meal. I love that they've added more meals to go like bulgogi, Kalbijjim, teriyaki beef or chicken, Katsu, or Unagi rice bowls. Their newest addition is house-made broths and soups in the cold section to take home. The pork and beef broths are pretty good, clean & tasty. This is also next to the section where you pick up their signature kimbabs for beef, chicken or, my fav, veggie kimbab. Their ice cream selection is great for mango, lychee, coconut, jackfruit and occasionally durian! Also great is their ramen selections. Their bulk ramens are in front of the checkout area. Picked up marinated soy sauce eggs and some green produce today! I do need to get used to today's sticker shock on their hot rice bowls, fried chicken wings, but this is every where not just Kukje. Great place for a quick hot meal when you don't want to cook. Cashing out is quick and easy. I like that They'll open a new lane if they see the queues growing. Like most Asian markets I do try to go early or late in the day to dodge the crowds. Kukje Market is on my regular rotation of Asian markets for groceries and hot to-go takeout. There's parking in front or at the parking lot across the way. See you there!

Yelp
This review won't be that in depth, mostly for my own reference. Keep in mind my perspective comes from a middle eastern palate Food: 1- Cooked Lion Roll: As somebody who doesn't eat raw fish, this was great for me! Very large portion and quite filling. Taste was average to slightly above average. 2- #49 Sea Food Soup: I got medium spicy which made my nose runny. Didn't distract from the flavor though! Thought it was awesome. 3- They serve you unlimited green tea! Very kind but be weary of drinking too much. Service: They have little buttons at each table that you can click when you need something. Very helpful. I only noticed it at the end of my meal so it wasn't as helpful for me. Ambiance: It's off to the side inside if the main store. No wait on a Saturday at like 2PM. Parking: Parking is HORRIBLE! But do-able if you're brave (like me). I went on a Saturday midday and there were a lot of shoppers so the parking lot was quite packed. Over all I wouldn't get these dishes again because I want to try other foods on the menu, there was so much to choose from and I got overwhelmed.

Yelp
It has been a long time since i came here to eat. Decided to came back for dinner before shopping around at Kukje market especially that this restaurant is inside the supermarket. I had the tofu combination soup and kimbob. I do like their kimbob. But I thought their tofu soup was alright. It has an okay flavor. There was only one waitress so since this was unstaffed, it might take a while for her to come to your table to take your order. Othe than that, this place is decent but i am willing to try other dishes in near future

Yelp
Want an easy spot to grab food after shopping in the Kukje Supermarket? Then by all means come stop by here! This place is conveniently located next to the sushi area in Kukje and it's a quick and easy way to grab a bite. By all means, this probably isn't your best Korean food, but it's your most convenient. And honestly, it's still good as well. When you get started, they'll serve you bonchon with 4 side dishes. There was like kimchi, tofu broccoli, bean sprouts, and anchovies. And they actually have a plenty of things on their menu as well. We ended up getting tofu soup as well as the beef bibimbap. Both of them were pretty standard and good. Overall, if you want an easy go-to meal that isn't crowded with easy access, then stop by this place inside the kukje supermarket! It's literally right next to the entrance when you walk inside the store.

Yelp
Small sit down restaurant inside of Asian market. Although the food was nothing to rave about, it wasn't bad either. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but I wouldn't mind eating it again if I was In the area

Yelp
The dine in restaurant in Kukje Supermarket has a lot of staple Korean food so it's great if you have some time to sit and relax. They have complimentary tea along with banchan. Service is pretty quick and there's a bell next to your table if you want to flag down a server. Food is pretty good and comes out piping hot. My recommendations are the fried chicken (they have different flavors) and the ox bone soup with clear noodles.

Yelp
Was craving for their wings for a long time so finally made it today for lunch. Parking was easy since they have a lot and plenty of street parking too. The two of us ordered the hot and sweet spicy wings and the bbq beef stone pot rice. We got a complimentary miso soup and banchans. The wings were DELICIOUS! It's sweet and spicy just the way I liked it. It's fried crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The bbq beef stone rice pot was loaded with assorted veggies and topped with an egg. Looking forward to come back with more people so we can order more dishes to try.

Yelp
Needed a couple of grocery items and always forget about this restaurant. Their fried chicken is pretty good. I like the soy sauce one - skin crispy, meat moist, and sauce tasty. Hubs loves the crispy rice in the stoneware bibimbap. Kiddo, however, didn't care for the Seol Leong Tong. Said it didn't have any flavor, so he ate up the Japchae instead.

Yelp
Wow... me and my partner came here for the first time to grab dinner. It was pricey but we could afford our meals since we had cash on us and we both had a long day at work. The food was good! We're college students who still are making ends meet working for minimum wage and we want to do special things like eating out once in a while. As we paid for our food that came out to 47$ we wanted to give our server a tip of 3$ since that was all the cash we had. Of course we wanted to give more but this lady threw us the tip... and came back lecturing us if the "the food was not good? And are you students??" she was extremely offended and that was the last thing we wanted to do. We had multiple people serve us so if anything the bussers should earn the tip. If you're working for minimum wage and don't have a lot to afford a tip Please let the servers know because they will give you hell, make you feel like crap even for trying to give the last bit of your money to them for a tip of

Yelp
This review is for the market only. The grocery store parking lot is challenging. There are two lots close to one another and street parking but we managed to find a spot in front. We decided to come here for their ready made food items, and they have an excellent selection. You definitely eat with your eyes first and we may have have gone a little overboard with the food. (Mmm leftovers!) We bought a selection of gimbap, pickled veggies, egg patties, fish cake and cuttlefish. All were very delicious and decently priced given how much they packed in the gimbap. I definitely recommend coming here at least once to try the food. Cute grocery store too, they have a variety of goods (snacks, fruit, alcohol etc). I will return when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Didn't post this review when I originally went but my thoughts on the dishes: Seafood Korean Pancake $14 - pass, it wasn't pan fried long enough. I think the ingredients were too heavy and steamed it up. BBQ Beef Stone Pot $17 - Sort of a small portion. Beef Japchae $13 - This definitely tasted better than the prepackaged one sold in the store but it was still lacking in the sesame oil Soy Sauce Seasoned Chicken $16 - this was good. Chicken was fried perfectly and sauce had just enough flavor. Definitely highlight of the meal

Yelp
This little restaurant in Kukje has a special place in my heart because of how cozy and yummy the food is. I remember walking in the slight drizzle from school and settling down to eat a bowl of hot tofu soup with rice. It was so comforting and delicious. The flavor from the broth had so much depth. Not only that, they give you some banchans to eat along with your meal. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is usually not many people there so it's a lovely place to eat while enjoying company or alone. I also tried the jajangmyeon (black bean noodles), which had a good amount of both sauce and chewy noodles. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something satisfying and simple.

Angels Q.

Yelp
Ready to eat foods look amazing but tastes old. Prices are too high. Owners and cashiers are very arrogant.

Yelp
this used to be a go to place to order tofu soup. but last time i ordered 3 tofu soup to go and i asked them to put it in separate bags because i was going to distribute then to different people, they only put the kimchie condiments for one person. i called to find out why they forgot to put kimchi to the other bags and someone named jenny said only one kimchi set regardless how many soup ordered. i guess that waw the last time i order tofu soup from there!

Yelp
Convenient place to grab a bite before your grocery run. The chicken is a must order here! Super crisp with a yummy glaze over the chicken. Kimchi fried rice- really moist fried rice with some pretty dried beef Salmon sashimi- sliced pieces were still frozen and had some bone in a couple slices Soft tofu soup- came warm so I was afraid it wouldn't cook through the raw egg but still had nice flavor Overall it's pretty pricey for mediocre Korean food but I would definitely come back for their chicken!

My friend and I went for some Korean food just after 8 pm and were met with a scowl from kitchen staff and rudeness from our waitress. Instead of greeting us, she frowned and just told us we'd have to order quick and be out by 8:45 (but your big glaring sign sign says 9)? Never once did she say a friendly word to either of us. She appeared annoyed and that we were a huge pain in the as* to her and the entire staff. Pre-pandemic i used to love this little place and even thought it was "cute" but I won't ever be back after the way we were treated. Also, there was so much salt or msg on my $18 soup and my friend paid $30 for her meal. This is Way too expensive for a tiny hole in the wall restaurant parked in a grocery store. PS. in reading other reviews, sounds like people who were disappointed with their experience didn't leave a good tip. A tip is voluntary based on how generous the customer is feeling and their experience.

Yelp
It's been a really long time since I ate here before shopping. This spot has always been pretty decent . Decent food . Fair portions for the price. Huge soup menu that I enjoy. pork stone pot bibimbap - the meat was slightly tough. I let the rice sizzle a bit more to create a crust when it arrived but it didn't quite get as crispy as I preferred. But overall satisfied. Tangsuyuk aka sweet n sour pork - you can get beef instead if you like. Very crispy . Sauce went well with it . Dish was made right The waitress was excellent . She literally took care of every table and customer alone. There were 7-10 tables I'll say at all times with customers coming and going. My parents got a tofu stew that came late and we were given a discount on the bill that we saw. She didn't even mention it. My parents enjoyed the soup a lot too. Off topic. There was a slight mishap when the tea overflowed to the floor and the waitress was just so cute during the whole thing as she apologized to her fellow coworkers who was cleaning it up. She had a very sweet voice too but that doesn't take away the fact that she handled a lot of customers solely. I need people like her on my team!

Yelp
I don't know how long this market has been around but this was my go-to when I was in college and I was hungry. It's now a go-to for me & my husband anytime we're in the area. Restock on my konjac jelly drinks and banchan sides to keep in the fridge and complements to any meal. It's also a great place to restock on Asian seasonings and stock for a decent price. A tub of gochujang for less than $10 or dashi packets or gochugaru for less than $5? When you don't have too many Asian market options close by you, that's a steal! The hot foods section is the best part of this place. Sometimes we'll grab some japchae or kimchi fried rice on the go. We'll even get bibimbop packs and eat it with rice at home. But if you are able to, order fried chicken! Served hot, crunchy and juicy. It is the best korean fried chicken locally. It's what korean fried chicken is supposed to taste like!

Yelp
Our bill was 50 dollar and we left a 5 dollar tip. That is 10 percent. The waiter found us outside telling us to tip more next time. No mama you're not getting on more dollar from me. Your attitude stinks like the restaurants food.

Yelp
The little restaurant inside Kukje market is finally re-opened. I had a California roll $5.50 and a beef bibimbap $18. The food here is not bad. I enjoyed the little dishes of kimchi. The meal also included a paper cup of miso soup. I liked how the bibimbap had the hard pieces of rice on the bottom. There were plenty of beef with chopped vegetables mixed in there. The fried egg on top was runny inside. Great job restaurant crew at Kukje!

Yelp
Been going here for years! Aisles are a tad tight for multiple shopping carts to get by. Tons of snack choices and my favorite spot to get some good bulgogi meats!

Yelp
Coming from Hawaii friends from Pacifica took me in Kuk Je Market to the restaurant. The food is Awesome! My favorite was the Chicken glaze in the Soyu Season Sauce. Very satisfying. It wasn't too crowded so we had a room all to ourselves. There were 6 in our party.

Yelp
When you shop at Kukje Market and decide to sit down for a bite before hitting home, the Kukje Restaurant is an easy choice. You don't have to move your car and the restaurant offers a variety of options from sashimi to traditional Korean Bibimbap.

Yelp
The food is great. The service is not bad. However, the quality of the condiments has deteriorated. The good portions are on the shelves for customers to purchase, and the left over crumbs are being served to the restaurant goers. I hope they would do the decency of offering better side dishes.
