Good option when everybody else makes you wait...
Southtown can get really busy even on a Friday... it's a holiday Friday, so that may be the exception to getting into your brunchy locations.
Kulture Kafe was open. No wait, and plenty of seating, whether it be in the three benches in the back or in your vehicle.
This little food truck provides a variety of food and beverages (hot or cold). I ordered and enjoyed their brisket empanadas, but one was more than enough. If you can make sure to ask for pico or some salsa to go along with it. I was able to get a taste of their chilaquiles with eggs and chicken... it was good, but if I were to pair the empanada, with something manageable, I would have loved to have tried molletes... it looked good too ;) Hey, I had a taste for everything.
The kids enjoyed the marzapan waffles, which were loaded with berries as a topping. One order was plenty for both, but my daughter ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese. The bagel came out toasted and slightly buttered.
Finally, the coffee... I ordered the Simple Mexican... it was unusually, sweet... somebody mentioned it was the agave, so maybe ask them to go lite on the agave, maybe? It was fine, but for a black coffee drinker like myself, I should have kept it Simple for Ino.
We would defintely consider a strong return to Kulture Kafe in the future.
