"Even your cousin who only goes out once a year could tell you that Cannonborough-Elliotborough is a hub for great restaurants. Filipino spot Kultura is the newest place in the neighborhood you'll text your friends about. While you certainly won't be mad if you make a reservation for dinner, the weekend karaoke brunch is where this place shines. Where else can you eat an eggplant omelet covered in caviar one moment, and be practically shouting Lizzo the next? We also love their breakfast sandwich with pork belly adobo and scrambled eggs, along with the ube latte—both of which are also good fuel for miming a flute solo." - Jai Jones

The Kulture gift shop is beautiful beyond words. So much unique decor from Mexico. It felt almost like a museum whereas I had to stop and pause to look at everything. Come check it out! This is one item I found to add to my home. Looking forward to going back!

Yelp
If you've never stopped into Kulture, now is the time to check it out! It's such a cute shop and the pieces they sell change throughout the year. They have the main shop off of K and then if you walk into the courtyard there are smaller shops with different owners who offer a variety of things. Part of the fun is that the variety of items and artwork change, so there's always something new to look at. I'd recommend this spot if you're looking for a unique gift or if you're looking for art to decorate your home. We had fun talking to some of the small shop owners and checking out their work.

Yelp
Such a cute shopping center full of other small shops. There is a variety of items so everyone is sure to find something that they love. They hosted a posada recently which featured additional small vendors and it was a blast! Support local small businesses. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This is such a amazing store. We were able to find everything we wanted, and picked up a few things we did not expect to find! They had enamel pins for the collector or for the person that wears pins every day as well as a wide array of T-shirts, and other types of cultural clothing. Although the store may accommodate to a specific culture, all are welcome. We walked out with a good amount of purchased items which did not break the bank and we are happy to have supported a local business. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Beautiful store! Found the cempasúchil headband I had been looking for and for a great price. The person at the store was very helpful, I think his name is David.

Yelp
Kulture is a delightful market area on K Street specializing in Mexican artisans and products. I've been to Kulture a couple of times while in the area enjoying nearby restaurants and cafes. Kulture has one main market in the front and several smaller stations in the courtyard area with various vendors. They have different items for sale from prints, jewelry, pottery, clothing, candles and accessories. Each visit presents new and exciting things to see. The vendors are all welcoming and eager to share their art with guests. On a recent visit, they had an offrenda altar for the upcoming Dia de los Muertos. It was very humbling and touching so see the photographs and other items presented at the altar. I'll make it a point to visit when I'm in the area. They also celebrate every second Saturday with additional vendors and offerings.

Yelp
First time ever visiting the store this Tuesday going gift shopping. The entrance to the shop was just so impressive and had a very authentic vibe to get a sense of traditional values with the Hispanic heritage and I loved how they even had a welcoming to learn more about the culture when you walked into the store. They had a few different paths you could go in the store; from the outside it does not look too big but the store has an upstairs and even an outside with a garden section and several buildings which looks like it leads to other buildings that host other artworks etc. The parts I viewed had clothing, many dofferent clay and metal artworks, jewelry, and custom diy coffee mugs which were super cute because they were custom made to different sports teams or Mexican food brands. I was looking for sacred hearts and thought it was cool they had so many types with wooden sacred hearts, metal, and even glass blown. And quickly I got distracted because there was so much to look at lol. Even tooled purses which anything tooled ( leather carved) is kinda my thing. And when I went upstairs they had a Dias De Los Muertos altar honoring their loved ones which I thought was very beautfiul but also informative to those who may not know what it is and may want to participate with their own families. Very special and I loved how the culture was so meaningful. Great store, I loved it and I will definitely be back.

Yelp
I love this shop! Unique and fun gifts. The owner is a really nice man, always so helpful. Great selection of glass hearts, these make for special gifts.

Yelp
This place has a lot of authentic Mexican items: paintings, knickknacks, art, pots, games, clothing, purses, etc. I loved coming here and spent a lot of time looking around. The prices are great and you get to support artists and this cool small business! Check this out next time you're in the area!

Yelp
Love this boutique! Lots of gems to find. Trinkets, art, clothing. All items from the latin culture. My adopted culture. Picked up some Frida items, some milagro earrings, and an Athletico hat. The bonus is all the additional shops located in the connected plaza. A really great hidden gem. I can't believe it took me this long to find this in Sac. Don't sleep on this spot. Run, don't walk.

Yelp
Kulture is an independently owned store with an eclectic collection of Mexican cultural artwork namely, pottery, mosaic pieces, paintings, and clothing. I was in search of some very specific Mexican art and had struggled to find the real deal until I discovered Kulture. This place is THAT store as the stuff they have here is authentic! And the customer service at Kulture is excellent. The owner of greeted me with a smile as I entered his store and he was extremely conscientious about answering all my questions...and I had a lot of questions. I noticed several pieces that reminded me of the Mercado I used to visit in Ensenada, Mexico and ended up having a great conversation about his collection of art and where in Mexico they come from. The owner of Kulture takes pride in his store and is willing to share something about each piece if you ask. With that said, and if you are looking for authentic Mexican cultural art, you ought to check this place out...you wont be disappointed. By the way, as an added bonus free parking is available in front of the store.

Yelp
My heart beams as soon as I walk in! All the things I love!!!! I need to go back to check out what is new!

Christine Q.

Yelp
My experience at KULTURE has always been pleasant. There's a variety of imports direct from Mexico--items range from magnets, jewelry, home decor and furniture. I have been searching for numbered Talavera tiles for my house address. One of the owners--David--made a special order for a 4-piece bracket to fit the 4 tiles I wanted. The tiles are colorful and handmade! I also bought a colorful handmade hanging wall pottery. I'm very happy with my purchases from KULTURE. Talk to the owners, if they don't have what you're looking for they might be able to find something for you. They constantly get a new shipment of stuff. Follow them on Instagram to see the collection of beautiful imports.

Yelp
A super cute shop with a variety of Latin products to purchase from pottery to clothes. Located on 24th and k st in Little Mexico Midtown sac. The shop is connected to a Hispanic shopping center with food places just around the corner... The shopping center was a little hard to locate but if you find Kulture on 24th st, you can get to the rest of the shops. The worker was super kind and very helpful on finding things my we were interested in...In the middle of the shopping center is a beautiful mural of Virgin Guadalupe and tables to rest. I'm not going to lie I found out about this place on TikTok and I'm so happy I made the trip.. My sister found tons of pottery for her collection in her kitchen. Kulture had the best selection of products for a way better price as well.. I would totally recommend visiting Kulture before the other stores... all stores had Ac units to escape the hot heat of Sacramento. Call

Yelp
Great content from local and other artisans! Got several unique and beautiful presents.

Yelp
Kulture is a vintage, consignment, and fashion-statement store with a unique line of clothing that's locally made and designed. Kulture is located at 1006 24th St. in midtown Sacramento, and it's in the midst of midtown's bustling cafe, arts and restaurant scene. Mexican-American culture is featured here, with bold designs and themes that are downright catchy. Luci N. & I were strolling after our dinner and book shopping, and wandered in, only to be fascinated by the offerings in this unique shop. If you've ever said to your buddies, "Let's go to San Pancho" - meaning San Francisco - you may enjoy these humorous and well-designed clothing themes. Stop in!

Yelp
Shopping at Kulture is a very pleasurable experience. I'm not sure if the owner was who was at the front, but whoever it was - you gave us lovely and stellar customer service! Thank you! There are some great original pieces of clothing, shoes, pins, bags and art. I especially liked the clothing and hats that I suspect the owner might have a hand in creating. A small amount of it seems to be typical fare - bought in bulk. But the majority seemed like unique pieces. Would definitely visit again.

Yelp
This shop, well whole block really, is very special. I've never seen anything quite like it. Kulture has created an entire square or plaza for unique artistry from both Mexico and the local surrounding area. You can get Latin art from artisans actually working and creating in a shop in the square. The owner is a very kind and talented person himself who found a way to celebrate culture and create an artist collective right here in Sacramento. My wife commissioned art from Cesar of Urban Art who creates very detailed painted sculptures. Their t-shirts from Keepin It Paisa are so cool and often Bay Area inspired. I've bought duplicates because they are high quality and become my favorites. Anyway, if you haven't discovered this incredible gem, you need to check it out. It even looks like Mexico inside the square. Pro Tip: Pair your visit to Kulture with a meal at Midtown Cantina Alley nearby. You'll feel like you just had a vacation in Little Mexico.

Yelp
Nice cultural store! High quality merchandise! Bought a lighted star for the patio and then my wife from Jalisco wanted a second- going back for a third! Beautiful to light up our patio!

Yelp
Are you looking for a special gift for someone? This is the most amazing little place. Unique items you won't find elsewhere.

Yelp
I love this place. Always great finds and amazing people who work here. I love the events they do in the plaza

Yelp
Very nice stuff. I only came to get something for my grandma but ended up getting something for myself as well. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I love this new place! The owner even has his own brand of hats and shirts! Must haves! They carry a ton of jewelry and clutches. His home and office items are one of a kind! The prices on all items are so affordable. Hidden jem! Customer service was supreme. Come on Sacramento support a family owned business. Let's not allow another mom/pop shop close it's doors due to commercial stores. I LOVE THIS PLACE.....thank you YELP that's how I found it. I will be a frequent shopper for sure.

Yelp
What a gem I stumbled across on a recent visit to Sacramento! This wonderful store is full of all of my favorite things. Beautiful handmade jewelry, gorgeous chicana and latin american art, cute clothes. I just about died and went to heaven. And I was floored by how affordable it was. I went by in the morning and returned later in the day. There are also a bunch of stores behind it that are super cute, too. I highly recommend this beautiful store! I wish I could go back and I wish I would have spent more money there.

Anna E.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I bought an armoire at this here recently and not only is it a piece that is unique and beautiful in my house but the owners were incredibly helpful and made sure that I got the best service possible. I will definitely be returning and I recommend everyone check out this midtown gem.

Rosie M.

Yelp
Every time I visit there is always something new. Also I went in looking for a painting of the Virgin de Guadalupe they took my contact information and called me to let me know there were a couple of sizes that came in. I picked the size I wanted it looks wonderful. Just what I was looking for. I love it!

Linda N.

Yelp
Terrible managers. I bought stuff there for my friend and needed to return couple of things, managers refused to refund $$. Don't buy things there that are "All sales are finals" items. I don't see sign saying no refund. Biggest mistake I made there!!!!! Will not visit there ever again!!!!

Alexis S.

Yelp
Great store! I love the Mexican imports, there's so many colorful accessories and home decor. I've been twice now and I love that they get different/unique items in. They're closed Mondays FYI.

Katherine M.

Yelp
My husband and I have been shopping at this unique Mexican store since it first opened. We have bought many one of a kind items and are always very satisfied with our purchase. The two young men that greet us are always so kind and make us feel very welcomed. We are all for supporting small business so to us this is one of the best stores we like to frequent because we know we will always get a very good deal. It is our pleasure to return as frequent shoppers at this small but affordable business. Kathy and Pancho Mora

Yelp

Yelp
Wondered in tonight after dinner, I didn't realize that they were close which I was told shortly after coming in (but in a nice way) the guy there was super awesome about letting me just take a look around. This is been the third time that I've been in the store and the second time that I've got patio table in June and found a really awesome table and today some great barware (similar to what I was eyeing, last week, at scout living but definitely half the price), each time that I've been in the staff has been really nice about answering any questions I have. They see what I'm looking at offer suggestions for other things. their prices are actually very reasonable for the items that they offer. And they've had some of the best customer service that I've ever experienced in Sacramento 2 Thumbs Way up if you're looking for something unique, something cool, something that not everybody else has a decent price this is definitely the place to go. PS doesn't hurt that you're helping a local business also.

Kourtney T.

Yelp
This store is amazing and becoming my new favorite spot to find vintage and new items. The owner is very helpful and informative on the products he carries and he goes out of his way to make sure you are being taken care of. I've been coming here every week since I found out about it, and he lets me know what is new and gives me knowledge of the items. I really liked these air plants he carried and he was all out of them when I came in yesterday, so I gave him my number to see if he got any more the next day. He called and texted me pictures of the new air plants he put together that evening! And you cannot beat his affordable prices. Great local shop with a super nice owner! Definitely check it out!

Frances S.

Yelp
This place is awesome and has cool stuff! Can't wait to come back. Thank you for free picture from the contest.

Yelp
Truly worth the stop after work...I was looking for an antique typewriter for my boyfriend's birthday. The owners had just sold their last one. But that didn't stop them! They went out of their way to look for one. They texted a few days later with two choices to pick from. Plus they have an awesome selection of jewelry. Will definitely recommend this place :)
