The food quality and portions have deteriorated. We ordered grilled pork belly. It was overcooked, tough and dry. Bangus sinigang was a bowl of regret. Chicharon bulaklak cost $20 for one piece cut in smaller pieces from the looks of it. So overpriced for the taste and portions given. Not going back ever.

Ordered Tofu Pancit for take out which was not on the menu. They happily accommodated. I enjoyed it very much. The aroma of garlic was really strong if you are fond of it. I would’ve much preferred it though if there were more vegetables like broccoli, snap peas, mushrooms among others not just carrots and celery. Food always cooked fresh. The staff are friendly in person and over the phone. Came at another time and ordered sisig and chopsuey . Food was freshly cooked.

This is so disappointing. We ordered sinigang na bangus as it is Good Friday and we cant eat pork today. To our surprise they have given us pork sinigang. Very disappointed. We need to make another order from another restaurant as we can not eat pork! Tsktsk!

If you like Filipino food and would like a restaurant that is not ‘turo-turo’ style then this is a good place to come try. The menu has a lot of different options to choose from. The sinigang and pork bbq are generally my favourite Filipino food and the flavours are on point with how they should taste. However, I wouldn’t say anything is pulling me to come back. Also, the service is not very attentive.. they do not come and check in on you at all. If you need something you have to go up to the counter to get their attention. Overall, this is an authentic Filipino restaurant that I would recommend to others if try if they never had our cuisine and don’t already have a Filipino friend to feed them this food at their home ;)

I will be as fair as I can. We dined-in 6pm Sunday evening as we are in a habit of supporting family owned restaurants in our city. There were only another couple at the restaurant who are almost done and are about to leave. So in short, my wife and I are the only customers in the restaurant at that moment. We are courteously given 2 glasses of water together with the menu... would be better if it was followed by a nice "hello/good evening" gesture. They are not rude, but not pleasant either. We are starving and ready to order. Unfortunately, we have to catch their attention to let them know we are ready. The servings came in not long after. Food is okay but the portions you get for what you pay is not acceptable. Expensive to say the least. Isang platitong inihaw na liempo costs us $18.75, Pancit Canton for $16.50 (good for 1 person). At this point we are THE ONLY CUSTOMER inside the restaurant, yet our glasses of water wasn't re-filled and not one crew passed by to check on us if everything's okay. When we were done and ready to pay, we are waiting if they would at least take a glance on us. I guess we can just storm out and they wouldn't even notice. I finally just called their attention and paid my bill shortly. Again, WE ARE THE ONLY CUSTOMER PRESENT THAT TIME. Food portions and service really need to improve. I dont mind paying a premium so long as it is worth it.

I'm trying to be fair here. But I've been disappointed by this restaurant multiple times. I thought I would try them again. This time, I got Yema cake for Mothers Day. First, for a bakery, they didn't have anyone to write anything on the cake.... saying, " they run out of icing to write with" 😅. Then the cake itself. It was such a disappointment. Cake was so dry, topping and filling were bare minimum. Quality is really sad. They really need to put more effort. Now, this is not for people to avoid the restaurant, but I hope that they would up their game and improve.

Google
Nice cozy Philippino restaurant that serves yummy food. I'm often taken there by my Philippino friends and they just handle the ordering. All I do is just be there ... eat... and pay my portion lol Never had to worry about what comes since so far nothing disappointed me

Google
It was not a good experience here. The portion of the food was not worth the price, and the service was poor. You had to go to the cash register area if you needed something. I do not recommend this Filipino restaurant, and I won't go back here again.

Yelp
Another customer was waiting for their order but it wasn't complete so Kumare decided to give me that customers Tortang Talong so that I wouldn't have to wait. I was even willing to wait for the fresh one but the girl said it's also fresh, they just made it. I never did see how the older lady packed it. I just saw the container after I got home. Otherwise I'd give her a piece of my mind. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Food container for the sauce was placed on the COOKED FOOD, and made an imprint!!!! This is a food safety violation!!! They should have placed the sauce outside. I'm pissed coz I'm already home and it's far for me to drive back and forth especially with the hike in gas prices. We all have to wear masks and keep our distance, and I come home to this??!!!! 1 Friggen STAR!!!!!

Yelp
I always have a huge weakness for Filipino food and trying out new places (despite ordering the same stuff over and over). My old favorite lechon kawali is hard to mess up, the fatty pork belly did seem a bit more cooked down/ lean in a good way where you don't feel like you're eating mushy fat. The ukoy is large and shareable among the table. The beef kaldereta is pull apart soft. The most surprising dish was actually the tofu sisig, which I regret not trying more. Rice (get the garlic rice) is ordered separately (weird concept), but the bowl size is humongous! The egg pie is just okay, but the halo halo is delicious with good quality ube ice cream. Price wise it seemed appropriate (considering U.S. conversion). Service seems to be good enough, but is noticeably slower when it gets crowded. Also with so many large families, the noise inside echoes everywhere and it gets tiring to yell at your own table.

Yelp
Would give 3.5 but since that options not available, 3 it is. Arrived approximately 12:25pm on Monday and only 3 tables were occupied. We were greeted immediately and shown where to sit. The restaurant is super clean and pretty big! The menu had a lot of selection, but we aimed for the longsilog breakfast with tea x 2, a order or lumpia shanghai, sizzling noodles and 4 pork empanadas to go. The breakfast was good (esp the garlic rice) and filling! The lumpia was a bit dry and I've had better but the sizzling chicken crunchy noodles were soooooo good!!! I'd just come back for that!! The empanadas were filled with pork and raisins and were pretty friggennnn great!!! The waitresses were friendly and attentive, the food was ok but not even halfway through our meal, a team of approximately 9 workers (assuming some sort of contractors?) came right next to our table and started lifting the cushion up and not even seeing that we're trying to enjoy our lunch in peace and not have to yell over them. Either the owner should've scheduled them to come a different time, possibly before closing or slower time of day, not while lunch is starting? Or these idiots should've walked outside or on the side, not where people are eating and discussed their work elsewhere? The prices were a bit steep but I guess worth it. Will be back someday to try the desserts!

Yelp
Our go to Filipino Restaurant near our place. Whenever I crave for Kare Kare, Sisig and Dinakdakan, this is the place. They have awesome baked goods too from hopia, Ube is my favourite to Brazo de Mercedes. Food is yummy and affordable, service is great too.

Yelp
Store Manager was updated on the same day on what had occurred at her Delta location. I was told she'd look into it... it is now October 23rd, 2020, unfortunately, I still haven't heard back from her at all... ( if I were her, I would run my business differently) . Very very disappointed!

Yelp
I ordered "to go" for potluck dinner with my friends and the Crispy Pata was good. My friend's order Lechon Kawali is bad. The skin is not even crispy and taste bland. Very disappointed with the Okoy ordered. The resto is spacious. Price is okay.

Yelp
Felly manager of Kumare Delta welcomes you to the newest restaurant in North Delta located across the parking lot from Superstore on 80th & 120th. Open for late breakfasts, lunch, coffee & pastries, and dinner. 10:00am to 9:00pm daily. Lots of parking. Very clean, and very cordial staff.

Yelp
Bought an egg pie, got home, and when we opened it at dinner there was molds on it! MOLDS! The next day it was like a farm already. How long has this been in their inventory? Dont they have expiry dates? Arent they suppose to throw out stuff that dont get sold at the end if the day? Especially dairy related products. Now is not the best time to get sick, there is a pandemic going on, last place yoh wanna go to is a hospital or clinic. This deserves a city inspection, i wonder what else they cut corners on...

Yelp
The business hours are posted on the window but when we went in a hour before the closing time we were told they were closed and could not dine in and that we could not get takeout as they turned off the stoves. This businesses should not post open hours if they are not actually open. Don't go here if you are hungry as you cannot trust that they will be open.

Yelp
I had lunch here with my family today after learning from my sis-in-law about Kumare, her favorite Filipino restaurant. It has a very convenient location in a shopping plaza on 120th and 80th in Delta. We were able to score primo parking right infront of the resto (plenty of parking regardless.) The interior was surprisingly modern and bright. It had high ceilings with exposed duct works (lofty!), plenty of natural light, painted concrete floors and lots of room between tables. After reading through the giant menu, we settled on garlic fried rice, dinuguan, sisig, tortang talong, pancit bihon and BBQ pork. (Some of us don't often have Filipino food so we went a bit overboard!) The garlic fried rice was the perfect pairing for the "ulams." The garlic was perfectly minced and fried just so it wasn't bitter. The dinuguan had plenty of tender pork pieces that had been cooked slowly in the blood sauce. Yes, it's made with pig's blood with vinegar and a bit of chili peppers. It's a rich and flavorful stew. The other stand outs were the sisig, crispy pork pieces (traditionally from the pig's face) cooked in vinegar and served on a sizzling plate with an egg that you have to mix while the plate is still hot. It tends to get oily so can't eat much of this delicacy. The tortang talong is an egg omelette with sauteed pork on a grilled eggplant. The eggplant adds another level of creaminess to this brunch dish. The pancit bihon was too oily and nothing special. The BBQ pork skewer was also a disappointment. I wish it was grilled with the sauce as the meat didn't absorb the sauce much and was a bit dry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our food came out quickly as it became ready in the kitchen. My Mom purchased some delicious looking Filipino pastries and bread from their in-shop bakery. (Sadly I was too full to try them out.) Nevertheless, I'm so glad we had plenty of leftovers so I can enjoy them again. We'll definitely come back.

Yelp
Came here for late lunch with my family. We ordered Sisig, Lumpiang shanghai and pinakbet. The pakbet and lumpia was okay but the Sisig tasted burnt. The ambiance was okay and the mellow music was alright but every time the server yells to call the orders to the kitchen it literally echoes within the dining area. They should get a POS system. All in all it's a 4 out of 10 experience rating.

Yelp
It was quite empty when I entered at about 11:45 am. They open at 10am. I was the only one there. The decor is simple and tasteful. No pictures on the walls just yet. Very clean and the washrooms are very well kept and smell nice too. They had just opened for business back on the latter portion of December 2015. Here we go, my friend and I ordered Pork Binagoongan, Beef Kare Kare and a bowl of garlic fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we received our food shortly after ordering. Now the food was tasty and delicious. So flavourful and tender. The garlic fried rice was just right. The sauces for both meat orders were very well done. The bagoong that came with the Kare Kare was salty and delicious. I was so full afterwards. Keep in mind that a bowl versus a cup of rice is perfect for good two people. Overall the price is a bit much for the amount of food. But I believe I may go back to try other items. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Plus I didn't get a chance to try their dessert cuz I was so full. I'll be back.

Yelp
Under seasoned and overcooked. Stay away from the fried chicken. That was bad and the flavour is off putting. The palabok was over cooked. The crispy pata had barely any cracklings and desperately needed salt. The friend rice was ok but nothing special. I definitely won't be ordering from there again. Too bad. I was hopeful but what a waste of money. The items were pricey.

Yelp
Today, we called in for a take out order at 1pm. We ordered 2 tosilog combos and lumpia shanghai. The eta, the host gave us was 1:30pm for pick up. So, we arrived at 1:30pm to pick up our order. The same host, had no idea what we were taking about and said, she never took an order from us. Unbelievable. They completely forgot. Afterwards, she re-took our order and we waited another 30 minutes, so that is 1 hour of waiting for our order. The food was bland - tosilog had no juciness and tenderness to it's taste. Rice was dry and difficult to bite into. The desserts were okay - leche flan was overly sweet but the cassava was firstly, unpleasant to look at and it didn't taste fresh, rather refrigerated for a couple of days. I was actually excited, to try this restaurant, from their "delicious looking" menu but they proved me wrong. Unacceptable customer service, awful food and terrible experience at Kumare. Beware everyone, my suggestion is to save your time and money elsewhere! Happy eating!

Yelp
Place is small but I like their ukoy. Other food items are comparable with other Filipino restaurants in the area, but the Ukoy is the best!

Yelp
Very very very disappointed in this place. Went with the family because we were craving Filipino food, we usually go to the Richmond location but decided to try the Delta location since it was a bit closer tha the one in Richmond. We regretted that decision though, should've just drove all the way to the Richmond location. Our food tasted like it was frozen and heated up in the microwave (like it was left overs from days before). The only thing that tasted fresh was the steamed rice and the tortang talong (egg plant omelet) because c'mon an omelet is so easy to cook! And the serving was tiny! I don't know if they changed their serving size from what they had before (based on pictures here) or they didn't have a lot of "left overs" to heat so they put it in a small bowl (regret not taking pictures!). Not worth the 10-15$ price range. We were so disappointed we didn't even order the halo halo and that's one of the best part of eating at a Filipino restaurant! I'm only giving it a 2 star rating because the friendliness and the service of the staff was good. Guess next time we have Filipino food cravings we'll just go to the Richmond location or to pin pin.

Vincent T.

Yelp
Love the food. Very clean resto. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. And the bonus is they're open till late it's what we need
