"Kuma’s Corner is a mini-chain of restaurants known for its burgers named after metal and punk bands. The burger chain, founded 19 years ago in Avondale, expanded to locations like Fulton Market, suburban Schaumburg’s Woodfield Village Green, and Indianapolis. Despite filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, all four locations remain open. The restaurant built its brand on the popularity of craft beer and metal music. While the craft beer scene has dwindled, Kuma’s has toned down its brash music and large burgers to fit into more comfortable, mainstream dining areas. The burgers remain a major draw, with classics like the Led Zeppelin burger. The restaurant has faced controversies but continues to engage with its community through fundraisers and events." - Ashok Selvam

I’ve been coming to Kumas for years. I love the atmosphere. There is coziness to the chaos of loud non stop metal music, and horror movies playing in the background. The burgers are massive, filling, delicious, and creative. I have noticed that over the last two years the quality of the food and presentation has gone down. They no longer use reusable metal cups for ketchup, but plastic disposable ones. The restaurant doesn’t feel as pristine as it used to, but it’s still my favorite to visit for celebrations.

Holy shit! This place is awesome!! I came in looking for a good burger and found so much more. Walking in, I knew this place had some taste of metal music with the naming of their burgers. Being welcomed by punk and metal memorabilia was great. The TVs were playing the movie Krampus. The bar top was amazing. I sat down right in front of a painting of a fur laden woman with a snarling bear on either side. The bartender had plenty of tattoos and piercings. I was home. After perusing the menu, I had a few questions. The bartender was able to answer them quickly and offered her opinion when I was indecisive over two options. I ordered the Mastodon as well as a side order of Mac and cheese. Both items came out in a reasonable time and were prepared as ordered. I've had a lot of great burgers, but this was in the top 3, easily. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. All of the accompanying items on the burger came together seamlessly. The pretzel bun complemented everything so well. It didn't take long for me to devour it. The fries were great, as well. The mac and cheese was really solid. The pasta was cooked well, and the items mixed in created a whirlwind of flavors, which was great. I will be returning any time I'm in the area. No questions about it. Do not sleep on this place or take their claims about their burgers lightly!!!

Google
Idk what they’ve done to the fried pickles but they are prob the best I’ve had in a long time. The Mac n cheese is my go to and getting the large so I have plenty for leftovers. This atmosphere is very unique so if you don’t know it’s like if your middle school emo self made a restaurant and I’m all for it.

Google
As a heavy metal fan, of course I'm going to love Kuma's. Only knock is the price. Completely understand prices for everything just keep going up, but $20 for a burger/sandwich is still tough. Service was incredible though and everything tasted great.

Google
Burgers are huge and great. If you like metal, it’s the best place to be. Food is consistent over the years. Schaumburg location has loads of parking. I recommend this place to everyone I know and make them come with me. Every-time I come to Chicago, I come here. Pictured was the Iron Maiden, medium rare.

Google
I love the atmosphere, very nice people, a great place to go to while listening to rock music and enjoying a great meal highly recommend. It can be pricey depending on what you are ordering.

Google
Great burgers and Mac and Cheese, good staff. Great beer selection. If you’re metalhead, you will love this place. Burgers named after heavy metal bands. If you like this place, you should try the original in Chicago also.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re a fan of fantastic burgers 🍔 and hard rock music 🎸, Kuma’s in Schaumburg is the place to be! The atmosphere is super cool with heavy metal tunes blasting while you enjoy some of the best, most creative burgers out there 🤘🔥. I tried the “Led Zeppelin” burger, and it was absolutely insane – juicy, flavorful, and piled high with delicious toppings 🍖🧀. The staff is chill and the vibe is unbeatable. Perfect spot for rock lovers and foodies alike! Can’t wait to go back 🤩🤟.

Yelp
Excellent service! It is pricey for a burger but that is because they give large portions! I ate half of my meal only. All the burgers come with a pretzel bun. I wish it was toasted. We got it served cold. It is also dense as well. They are very creative here. I would love to try more. I ordered garlic aioli on the side. It's not the best. I do not taste much garlic. I only really tasted mayo. There's other great sauces to choose from.

Manda F.

Yelp
Reliably good food. If you order from DoorDash they usually do not have the burger of the month listed. Also customizations are limited on some food items I. DoorDash as well. I wanted to order the chili, but it wouldn't let me remove the cheese. Generally there is a decent amount of parking. Inside there is music, but not loud enough to need to yell to be heard. For some reason the cash register didn't work with my Apple Card. I was able to use another card, but just a heads up.

Danielle K.

Yelp
My all the music all the food life philosophy came together nicely when I was introduced to the experience known as the heavy metal burger bar! My server Kevin raving about my Sebastian Bach t-shirt as I was sat confirmed I was the best dressed person there. Flattery gets you somewhere when its specific. He asked me if I was having the Skid Row burger. WHAT?! Something to know about me - I always check restaurant menus before I choose a restaurant. I had not seen a Skid Row burger on the menu when I previewed Kuma's Corner online menu in deciding to choose this place among the offerings my dining partner had provided. Well, turns out there is a QR code menu aka a hidden menu. I had planned to have the charity burger which at the time of my visit was to benefit a victim of (ignored) school bullying. Worthwhile indeed. And another plus for this place, that your food has that potential to give back directly to someone in need. And I did take the charitable burger as planned but love that there is a more expansive menu and wanted to make sure I tell you about that hidden menu! Get the Skid Row burger muthatruckas! When next in the area and in need of a burger I will be "bach" as Sebastian would surely say.

Yelp
I came to Kuma's Corner - Schaumburg with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while. He wanted to go to Kuma's Corner, since it was one of his favorites and I had never gone before. When I walked in I was immediately hit by a wall of noise. The restaurant was two-thirds full, when I arrived but the music was cranked I to eleven. Because of this i had trouble hearing my friend two feet away. Based on the suggestion of a fellow Yelp Elite, Sherwin C., i tried the macaroni and cheese with pulled pork. It was OK, but not super flavorful. Our sever did not give us a lot of attention, but she was very overworked. There are better places to go than Kuma's Corner.

Jessica B.

Yelp
If you love burgers and heavy metal, this is your spot. They have plenty of burger options, all served on a pretzel bun. If you're not into burgers, they do have some other options like pulled pork or Mac & cheese. The theme includes heavy metal, so expect that music to play in the background. There was plenty of seating and our server was quick to take our order and get our food. Taking points off for the fries not being the best and they are kind of pricey.

Bianca K.

Yelp
The mac and cheese was so delish. They also had some delta 8 shots that made me feel good!

Alexandra A.

Yelp
FUN AND DELICIOUS BURGERS! This spot will satisfy your burger craving fa shoooo. I was here for lunch on a weekend and was seated right away. My fiance and I were in and out within an hour and 15 mins. Service throughout our experience was great - our server was attentive however didn't hover. He also explained a new beer on tap and gave us a sample, without even asking for it! The atmosphere is definitely heavy metal everything. Music is blaring loud and songs are not clean versions. If you are bringing kids and don't want them hearing profanity, this might not be the spot for you. The burger selection is what keeps us coming back. I've basically had the entire menu and my favorites are the Metallica and Iron Maiden. I love that they use pretzel buns for their burgers, it's real goooooooooood. Their fries and chips are meh, I really wish they were better. It would bring in the full experience of enjoying a solid burger with fries/chips better. We also ordered a small mac and cheese which was pretty good. It was creamy and ooey gooey. The flavor wasn't there for me though, cheese was mild and bland.

Lucas T.

Yelp
First off, if you like hard rock/80's hair metal, this place is a must. The ambiance was dive bar-esque but a little above normal dive bar if that makes sense. Food was great! I got the clutch which came with bacon jam and homemade fries! The service was fast and the waiter had great timing with asking for checks but not feeling rushed at the same time. The only thing I will say, is that the prices are a bit steep (20-25 dollars for a burger and fries). Other than the prices, great place to stop if you're a metal fan in the Chicagoland area

Danielle D.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here since they opened in Schaumburg and cannot believe I waited until this past weekend to go in. I've ordered before through the food delivery apps but never dined in. The atmosphere is fantastic. I loved the decor, the music, the fact that "The Craft" was playing on the big screen television. Our server was attentive and kind. I will absolutely be returning. We started with cheese curds as an appetizer. My boyfriend is a vegetarian and ate the Iron Maiden burger with an Impossible patty with fries and really enjoyed it. It had avocado, cherry peppers, and pepperjack cheese and more. I ordered the Kaijo, with bacon, blue cheese crumbles, and the stringy fried onions. Everything tastes so fresh and all three items we ordered were delicious. I can't wait to come back and try another burger or the mac&cheese.

Shawn M.

Yelp
Love their food. I am showing my age a bit too loud, music, to have a business lunch unless just light on the work discussion or you sit outside.

Sean M.

Yelp
Better like loud metal music, craft beer and great big burgers! Service was great. She was on top of us and the all of the others.

Joey J.

Yelp
It's nice to have a place that doesn't just show sports on the TVs. In fact, it's nice when they play horror movies. Like, classic horror, movies. If you're lucky, you'll get to catch some crazy B movies! Plus, they're burgers with pretzel buns are fantastic

Yelp
Visit Date: Sep. 10, 2024 Ah yes, BURGERS and METAL! Not a bad combo here if you want that type of vibe the music, beer, and food offerings. I do want to preface that I have also been to the OG Kuma's corner and naturally, you can't help but compare the two, so I'll get that out of the way. The ambiance is not the same, the one here in Schaumburg is a more diluted and muted sister store. Not a necessarily a bad thing but if you want the real deal, you'd have to go into the city. *The only real gripe I had about sitting outside in their patio was that their music was too loud to have any meaningful conversations with your friend. This was only exacerbated when lunch was on a Tuesday afternoon with not much else going on.* Fortunately, our server was fine; not overbearing but would've been nice to have more water refills along the way. But onto the food! I ordered myself the Iron Maiden burger (med-rare) while my friend got himself Kuma's buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. I'd say I'm a fairly easy guy to please when it comes to burgers, as long as it's cooked correctly and I have my sauces. This burger was just that but I'd say the only downside is that, as a whole, it's missing more seasoning on the beef. It was a fine burger but when you have to add extra chipotle mayo for more flavor, then the patty itself is lacking in that Flavor Department. As for the fries? They weren't anything to write home about either. Although, if you were to opt for the buffalo Mac and cheese, that one was packed with much more flavor from their buffalo sauce! The chicken was nice and tender, not dry. And the cheese on the Mac was just right. I believe my friend chose the better out of us two that day. Again, if you've never been to Kuma's, I'd highly recommend going to the original one instead and make that into your trip. Rock on, John C.

Yelp
My son is absolutely obsessed with burners, it is his favorite meal. We were in the area to check out Legoland for his birthday. Kuma's popped up as a nearby burger place so it was a great fit. I liked the idea of the restaurant and the rock vibes. There were a lot of different burger choices so I was pumped for lunch. It was however a terrible choice for us with two kids. Despite being on the patio the music was cranked to 10 and really loud, unnecessarily so. It was noon on a weekday, let people just talk to one another. There was no kids menu either which was annoying. The service was fine, but just fine. So overall good burgers, decent theme, but the music was too loud and the service was mediocre.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Love kumas corner, it's still one of my favorite burger places in the suburbs. The burger is packed and really filling. They always play some sort of movie as well play metal type music. The menu is also named based off of musical guests. Even their Mac and cheese is great Will come back again.

Laurence P.

Yelp
A coworker and I stopped by Kuma's Corner for a late lunch after being in a Tradeshow. We were both in the mood for a burger, and were not disappointed. Great food, good portions, excellent service even though the place was busy. Music was a bit loud (and heavy metal - not my cup of tea), but other than that, no complaints!

Laura W.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal! Excellent and attentive service. Their menu was huge and fair. The fried mac and cheese is delicious and easy to share. I got the Kuma's root beer which is absolutely delicious. I also ordered the Iron Maiden burger which came out exactly how I wanted it to. It comes with Pepper jack, lettuce, onion and avocado on a pretzel bun. If you also want a great burger this is the place to go. A great variety of burgers with unusual toppings. Their fries are also very good. Highly recommend coming here during lunch hours to avoid long wait times.

Angel N.

Yelp
A kids menu with Papa Emeritus on it, burgers that have amazing metal themed names but also taste amazing, and amazing service and atmosphere. Usually themed places like this are trash and gimmicky. We will definitely be back. Only downside was no In Flames or Meshuggah played while we dined and almost every other song was Rob Zombie. Just need a little more variety... lol Seriously, great stop! Our serve was so attentive, nice, he was just on point.

Ho T.

Yelp
What happens when you integrate rock and burger? You get Kuma's Corner. I feel it's an unusual pairing, but it could work. I felt exhilarated as I walked in, a surge of electrical energy rushing through my body as a result of the loud, powerful rock music. The interior design is edgy but classy at the same time. The bar resembles a concert structure, which works well with the theme. The menu is simple, yet there are many options. All of their burgers are named after genuine bands, and they serve a variety of beers, commonly from the local region, as well as seasonal items such as the burger of the month. I wasn't bold. So, I got The Famous Kuma. It turned out to be good. The patty is juicy and covered with melted cheddar, crispy smoky bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion, fried sunny side-up egg and served on soft pretzel buns. The meal is filling. I believe the patty is underseasoned; it felt bland. The hand cut fries are warm rather than hot. The music might become overbearing over time. I appreciate this restaurant since the concept is unique and they know how to prepare gourmet burgers. It gives me confidence to try the rest of their menu.

Yelp
Walked in and walked out ... headbanger music blaring through the speakers on a Saturday afternoon. That said the place was full so I am glad the headbangers have a place to party. Not for me or my wife.

Betsy M.

Yelp
Fun place to grab a fresh unique burger and listen to some hard core tunes! I have had this place on my list to visit for about a year on the recommendation from my sister's boyfriend whose band has a burger named after them and finally made it in to this location. Super friendly staff, and the ambiance is right up my alley with a casual super edgy vibe. We had great service from Carlos who shared his burger faves but I had to go with the Goatsnake burger since it was how I even know about this place all the way from AZ. Now as someone who can't stand the goat cheese, I flipped it out for some cheddar and the burger was still delish with the pretzel bun, corn relish and onion straws. Tons of fries on the side to boot. Sure you pay close to $20 for a burger but between the burger and fries I could have shared this with someone. Would totally come back and try some of the other scrumptious looking burgers on the menu!

Iris P.

Yelp
Led Zeppelin & the Plaguebringer's! Kumas Corner is a great place to get awesome gourmet burgers named after different heavy metal bands! They even have burgers of the months which you should definitely check out, you might even go a night where the band is there! If you haven't ate here yet, you should! It's hard to get a table but worth the wait!

Adriana F.

Yelp
First time at Kuma's it was excellent. Delicious burgers, yummy cocktails, very good service all while seating at the patio. Highly recommended!!

Michelle C.

Yelp
Sat at the bar when we went this time, very good. I love the unique burgers that expand the tastebuds from your everyday burger. Would come back time and time ago.

Jacob B.

Yelp
Food is good. It is worth coming in and eating. The online ordering system is complicated, burdensome, and takes forever. You have to make an account, password, email, phone number, and so on. The ordering took longer than eating my actual meal. Online ordering system is horrible.

Steve B.

Yelp
Got to check out Kuma's Corner with my friend. I have to say it was surprisingly good. Food: I have to say everything tasted very fresh and was seasoned perfectly. Service: The services was pretty good. Really busy so our waitress didn't check in as much as other places I have been to. Atmosphere: The ambiance was good overall. Everything matched and the vibe was really welcoming. Overall, I will say checkout KC if you want home style food with a high quality twist!

Cole R.

Yelp
I love a rock bar and I love a rock restaurant so the mix of the two was fantastic. The food was named after Rock bands and it was delicious. Then there was the beer selection which had me reconsidering my travel arrangements. I'll definitely be back when I have time to thoroughly review the beer and menu items further.

Ryan K.

Yelp
Kuma's corner is a rad metal music themed restaurant that FEELS like a music venue, but isn't. This means there is metal music being pumped through the speakers which I enjoy, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. The service was friendly and thorough despite it being a packed Saturday when we stopped by. The burgers here are their signature and for good reason. They are creative and fun but don't sacrifice on quality. My Metallica burger was excellently crafted with juuuust the right amount of buffalo and bleu cheese so that it wasn't wet and sloppy but still packed the flavor I wanted. The fries were a bit meh. A touch on the soggy side and lacking salt. Not a huge deal but still.

Nick P.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times. Burgers both times were delicious. I wished they brought back Megadeth. That one had crunch as well as a juicy burger. I also had the Slayer, which is very similar to a poutine, a lot of ingredients and chili on top of a bed of fries. Yes it was good. Even though the prices are expensive, they do give you an abundance of food. I did take pictures of my friends' burgers that are Sourvein, Led Zeppelin, and famous Kuma. I forgot to mention, this place plays heavy metal and horror movies. Instead of giving 1 star for no legit reason, just order takeout. This is no place for Karen's. Service was friendly and fast.

Allen M.

Yelp
Okay let me start off by saying the food here is phenomenal. Burger HEAVEN. However the service can be a bit slow at times which is unfortunate but well worth the wait. Sometimes I'd say the music is either too low or too high it's odd almost like they don't have a set volume or multiple people controlling it.

Sameer A.

Yelp
Such fast service and such high quality food this must be my 10000000 th time here still have to review this lol

Erik R.

Yelp
I heard about Kuma's from a friend before my vacation and heard it was great for date nights so I thought it was going to be a fancy fine dining burger place, I get there and I can rock and metal playing. This was the hard core burger restaurant you need to go too every worker wore a shirt with an album cover nicely dimly lit room and just a vibe to be at, I got the goat snake burger which is a highly recommend from me the fried onions and goat cheese you cannot beat and as for app's I would recommend the Buffalo tenders with blue cheese. I am not a big fan of blue cheese but Kuma's blue cheese is out of this world is a must try

Jennifer H.

Yelp
The service was great. I sat at the bar. I ordered the pulled pork. The pork was good. The onion drizzles were chewy, the fries were soggy and greasy. I had to take the top of the bun off because it was too big.

Mac N.

Yelp
A casual burger joint with a rock alternative styling inside with fun references to rock bands in their burger names. Our waitress was nice and definitely fit the aesthetics. I ordered the SourVein burger because it sounded crazily unique on paper. Unfortunately, it was crazy in real life too in a manner that just didn't work. The burger comes with a beef patty, bacon, fried chicken tenders, cheddar cheese, and waffle strips with a maple drizzle on top. The issue with this burger is that there's just too much starch from the bun to the breading to the waffle strips. It's hard to actually taste the different components. The chicken was slightly dry and was lost in the process. The waffle was thick and placed right under the bun, which felt like eating bread on bread. It just did not work. However, the fries were generous, semi crispy, and quite tasty. Overall, I might have chosen the wrong burger, but this combination makes me question the judgment of the owners and choosing toppings that actually makes sense together. This place certainly has fun vibes and nice service but overall the food was middling and it's not a place I would seek out in the future.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place- food and service are impeccable, beer list is out of this world, and they're true to their reputation- horror movies on TV and metal all the time! Don't bring the kids, but if you dig loud metal music and like a quality meal don't miss it.

Kesha B.

Yelp
We came in on a Friday night for dinner and there were no tables available so we took a seat at the bar. Our bartenders Eddie and Lizzie were fantastic. They were extremely attentive and made plenty of recommendations when it came to drinks. I got a Moscow mule, which was incredible. Sometimes bartenders make it too sour but one was a perfect mix of flavors! My husband grabbed a local beer on tap. To start we got Buffalo chicken dip. Although it wasn't anything overwhelming it was a great option to munch on. For my entree I got Mac and cheese with garlic and caramelized onions with pulled pork. It was incredible the portion was large and I ate maybe a quarter of it before I packed up the box to enjoy later. Parking was incredibly easy to find as it was in a strip mall parking lot. We were in and out and for those who wanted to stay and enjoy themselves they did.

Yelp
Visiting from San Diego and FINALLY got to try a Kuma's. I know this isn't the one in the city but this one is closer to my families and I expect it to represent sure to all the raving reviews. I'm a metal head so the theme is freaking awesome! I've been looking forward to this for a bit. The menus are cool with all the burgers having a metal theme to them. We had a great server that explained the menu. Ordered and got our food really fast. I thought my burger was put together good but it was pretty dry. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers. I wanted to substitute the cheese on my burger but they didn't have the one I wanted. For me it's a big minus if you don't have American cheese for a burger. Overall the meal was good for my family but for me I would rate my burger a solid 5 out of 10. I travel around the nation trying burgers from Yelp so.... Not impressed and highly disappointed. Sad so so so sad for me. I'm sure they do good usually.....Gonna have to go to the OG in Chicago and update my review.

Alivia G.

Yelp
I tried to order online but their weside or connecting website is very suspicious and then u cannot delete the account. I just went nuts on their website ordering that I cannot review how their food is. DONT SIGN UP TO ORDER ONLINE. It's very suspicious. Might be hacked. I might go in personally to try their food but now I'm just worried about my credit card and info on their site.

Kyle M.

Yelp
Kuma's corner is a rock and roll burger bar that splits the difference between pub and dive bar vibes. This place was absolutely packed on a Friday and we had to wait 40 minutes to get a table for 4. I'm not sure it is normally so busy or because there was a convention in town that week so the wait might have been a fluke but this seemed like one of the more popular places I tried to eat at in the area. They don't take reservations though so plan accordingly. Burgers are named after various rock and metal bands and I had the Mastidon (~$19) which was a bbq burger and a couple of cocktails ($11). The burger was pretty good and the drinks were fine, pretty close to a premix quality at a bar, but nothing mind blowing. Overall it was a step above most places in the area I tried I think. Overall this is a pretty neat spot but the wait, the price ($50 for a burger, 2 drinks, tax and tip for one person), and the slightly too loud music for group conversation doesn't make it the perfect spot. Worth checking out for sure though, especially if you're in town for a convention and want a break from the limited hotel options.

Courtney H.

Yelp
This place has a really fun atmosphere with the hard rock/metal music, the small but impressive menu, and the server uniforms consisting of band/concert tshirts. My girlfriends and I stopped for late lunch, and we first grabbed drinks/appetizers before our entrees. The gin gimlet was flavorful and sevarina was the perfect sweet summer cocktail. We ordered cheese curds, which were okay. The jalapeño poppers were amazing! We each ordered a customized Mac and cheese. I ordered mine with mushrooms, caramelized onions, and chicken. It was surprisingly bland, so I had to add more salt and pepper to get much flavor.

Desiree M.

Yelp
It's hard to rival Kuma's and the only place that ever came close (Lockdown -Chicago) has long since closed. Happy to see that Kuma's is still thriving and holds their multiple locations to a high standard. If you've never been, be aware this is a metal burger bar and the music and vibe follows suit. However, the crowd it draws is quite diverse and certainly not just metal heads. The patio is decent and a bit quieter. Otherwise, the service at the bar is good and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. The burger menu is extensive and tasty. I've tried almost everything, but the Goatsnake is what I now order 95% of the time. The goat cheese, pickled onions, and corn salsa are a fantastic combination of decadent and acidic. Although the burger is heavy overall, there is enough brightness in this creation to balance it out. Another favorite is their jalapeno poppers, delish on their own and elevated by their sweet and spicy sauce. This Kuma's doesn't usually have long wait times and there's a huge parking lot attached making it a quick and convenient stop.

Stacy H.

Yelp
when did burgers get so expensive?! over $20 for each. we both ordered medium but they were clearly medium rare - very pink inside. they tasted decent but not worth what we paid for.

Nicole C.

Yelp
Second time back here and let me tell you, if you haven't been, you're missing out! The first time I ever went was a couple of years ago- unfortunately, we didn't go back for a while as the music was just a bit too much. I couldn't hold any conversation with my friends sitting right across from me because I literally could not hear a single thing. BUT, fast forward a couple years later, and they listened to the people! My girlfriends and I went on a Monday (we asked about the music and we're told that the beginning of the week is more of a chill atmosphere- quieter music). I got the WASP burger, and it was SO GOOD! The meat was juicy, the burger is HUGE- sure to fill you up, and the fries were fresh and crispy. They got rid of their sweet potato fries which I was bummed to hear about. We started off with fried pickles which were also super crispy and a great starter for dinner. Overall, I will be sure to go back soon. Quality burger, quality service!

Nora B.

Yelp
The service here was amazing. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating. Be prepared it was a little loud even outside but we were up for it.

Yelp
Our server was good food was very good. My grind vodka and soda was very bland. I tried house vodka not impressed at all. Hostess' not very friendly which means our experience started out on sour note I asked to be seated inside so she put us one foot from patio.

Yelp
Can be a little loud and scary sometimes... but nothing less the food is delicious. Enormous burgers packed with flavor & quick service. Highly recommend you try the jalapeño poppers with the yummy jelly!!

Yelp
Their $18 burger of the month (BOTM), Code Orange, was as tasty as it was beautiful. This burger consists of 10oz Kuma's Patty (5.5oz option not available for BOTM), Chorizo Cheese, Pico de Gallo, Tortilla Strips, & Cilantro Aioli. I loved the tortilla crunch in every bite. It comes with a side and you have your choice of handcut fries, sweet potato fries, house made potato chips, edamame (+2), or salad (+2). The side of sweet potatoes I got was huge and nice and crispy. Service was fast and friendly and the food came out quickly. My other go-to burger is the Iron Maiden (Avocado, Cherry Peppers, Pepperjack, Chipotle Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion). Some of the burgers are offered in the smaller 5oz version for $12. Music volume isn't as loud as the Chicago's location, but still too loud to have a conversation in. .|\---/| | o_o | .\_^_/..2022

Yelp
We took my parents to lunch at Kuma's Corner Schaumburg after they had mentioned going to the Chicago restaurant a while back and really liking it. Overall, I can't say we will be going back. Upon entering this known spot within Chicagoland, the inside stayed true to the heavy metal vibe but offered some surprises of a patio that opened to the inside via garage doors. This made the space feel bright and airy. I went to go wash my hands before we sat down and the sink/floor under the hand dryer felt dirty. Passing it off, I went to go sit to enjoy our lunch. My dad ordered a craft beer as their selection is great! My mom and I ordered soft drinks. My ginger ale had a black spot floating on the top so I simply asked for a new drink (they dumped it, changed glassware, and refilled which was great). My dad ordered a hazy ipa beer and a stout color beer arrived after being poured by the bartender and served by the waitress. Neither must had known what the beer selection should look like but the problem seemed to be the spout needed a couple more oz's poured out before it was the right beer color. The waitress seemed annoyed we had brought up the few drink problems we experienced. After all was figured out, we ordered food and the sandwiches were big! We got the Mastodon, Iron Maiden burger, Iron Maiden Chicken Sandwich, and Famous Kuma's. I had asked for crispy bacon which was not accommodated for. The fries were also not as crispy as I hoped. My mom and I both left with half a burger and more then enough fries. Overall, the restaurant seemed to be overstaffed for lunch and disconnected to guests. The two hosts were chatting the whole time to each other sipping on drinks and there was always staff standing near the kitchen waiting to do something. Maybe our experience was a one off but we won't be back to see. Pro Tip: Stop by the Costco in Schaumburg around the corner as they sell Kuma's Corner gift cards ($100 in gift cards for $75).

Yelp
Friendly staff with good food, super loud death metal. The staff are very friendly and the food is cooked perfectly and yummy. I tried the burger on fries, "slayer". I wish the fries were on the side but that was my own fault. They get soggy. The chile was not my flavor, but the rest melded well: Caramelized Onions, Andouille Sausage (i only found like 1 piece but i have half an order left so it might be under there), Cherry Peppers, Monterey Jack, Scallions, it created this very interesting mixture of flavor and I really enjoyed it. Tip: wait for it to cool off before touching the plate, i almost burned myself The fried pickles are also excellent, coming from someone that doesn't like pickles, just slightly tart, good crunch and a nice coating of batter. The sauce enhances it. Tip: wait for it to cool off before digging in. Our waitress got my friend a pepsi refill when it was only half empty, great service! It's a lil pricey at 18 bucks a burger, but it was enjoyable.
