Must visit if you are in Tallinn and enjoy art. The building is amazing and the collection is very comprehensive. A great way to understand Estonian history through the different artistic eras.

Great museum showcasing Estonian art throughout the centuries. Also very impressive building with beautiful interior and exterior architecture. Definitely recommended for art fans and for those who would want to get a glimpse at Estonias finest.

The museum was impressive, showcasing Estonian art, culture, and history — truly a must-visit. However, our experience was negatively impacted by the entrance staff’s behavior. We were told to remove our light jackets (the only layer we had), and when we asked why, we were simply told "it’s the rule," with no clear signage supporting this. Meanwhile, others wearing blazers were not asked to remove theirs. As Asian visitors, we couldn’t help but feel singled out and uncomfortable by this treatment.

One of my favorite art museums in Europe. You know you’re in for good experience when you see the outside of the museum and the grounds. My partner is an art, major, so she really enjoyed the various art installations, and the overall layout of the museum. Oversize floor of boys, from all types of parents, surreal, oil, charcoal, and everything in between. They’re also a wide range and Estonia was represented. I left the museum feeling very cultured and thankful that I visited. I also found my tickets were quite affordable.

Nice place to learn about Estonian visual arts history, which is tightly connected with the country's way towards independence and establishment of national identity.

Expensive museum of Estonian art. Really nicely tells the history of the city through art, arranged by time period. Also done temporary exhibits, it's a huge building. Nice cafe with lots of food options too.

I had a wonderful experience at this museum. It’s definitely one of the best art museums I have ever visited. I spent about two hours going through everything. Even though it’s an art museum, I was able to learn a thing or two about Estonia’s history. The temporary Latin art exhibition was also very impressive.

I like the architecture outside, but inside its wayyy too humid and suffocating ಠ╭╮ಠ Exhibition was interesting to say the least, def worth the money Only downside is the accessibility/amount of stairs you have to overtake to get to the ticket office during snow days.
