Called 999 from Food Poisoning ! I don’t know what to say to you all, just that the burger tasted good, really delicious but I’ve been sick for two straight days . Projectile vomiting and diarrhoea. That’s it that’s all. I am so scared .

This is a hole in the wall chinese burger place of Shaftesbury Ave, London. Insta viral so packed with people ordering these crispy, flakey pastries filled with either duck or pork. I had the pork one, and it was nice, but you need to expect a mixture of lean and fat. For me that was delicious but if you are a 'I don't eat fat' type then don't bother. If would have liked some spicy sauce on mine, and possibly a bit of cucumber to bring some freshness, but that's just me. It was delicious and if you don't mind waiting on the street, then please join the crowd and grab one. I want to know how to make, where to buy the flakey buns so I can make them at home!

Visited on a Sunday just before their 12:00 opening and lucked out — first in line, no queues (a rare sight here). The bun was the real surprise: ultra-crispy on the outside, fluffy and light inside, yet it held its shape perfectly from first bite to last. The meat was juicy and tender, with a mix of lean and fattier pieces that balanced the bun beautifully, while the spring onions added a fresh, savoury lift. If you’re near London’s West End — heading to the theatre or wandering through Chinatown — this is an easy win. Bold, satisfying, and absolutely worth the stop 🍔🔥

That was a great discovery, we had the duck burger and it was absolutely delicious. The serving was generous but the flaky and crunchy bun was the highlight almost like a filled croissant. The shocking part was the price however, £8.50 in the centre of London for a burger filled with duck is fantastic. Definitely recommend

It’s all just for IG. Nice people serving. Cool hole in the wall set up. Meat is okay in flavour but the pastry bun was cold and a bit of a gimmick. It’s a Shana Paranta with meat and hoisin sauce in it. I mean no disrespect that but I could make a more flavourful version in less time. I paid £8.50 for the roasted duck. If I went round the corner I’d find some incredible Korean chicken or Biria tacos for a more favourable price for flavour.

Tiktok made it famous, but for good reason!! This hole-in-the-wall Chinese burger joint is nothing like anything you've tried before, and the queue of people lining up to get them is a great indication that you're in for a treat. We ordered the Signature Braised Pork Burger, the Braised Beef Burger and also the Shredded Duck Burger with Hoisin Sauce. Each are served in what can only be described as a crispy roti style bun, and the formula feels very unique indeed. All three were completely delicious, but the duck stood out as the real gem! Tasty. Crispy. Delicious. Don't miss out!!

Small counter selling Chinese burgers. A bit overhyped. Service was quick, burger ready in under 5 minutes. Went for the shredded duck. Was ok, short on seasoning, sauce was ok. The burger was not that hot so was crisp only halfway through. OK for the price in the location, and for how much it fills you up. But wouldn't go for it again.
