Hot and delicious, very generous portions, friendly staff, & clean restaurant. Hope you can bring a BIG appetite! We’re talking food challenge portion sizes even on the one meat plate. Staff was friendly and welcoming even though we showed up 20 minutes from closing.

Google
Great service, and the servings are enormous! They offer samples so you can pick what you really like. The food was delicious, and we had so much leftover!

Google
You get free samples if you're brand new, which is really great because I wouldn't have tried a few things otherwise. They give you a butt ton of food for the price. The self-service and free access to a lot of sides and toppings and sauces is really nice. The only drawback especially dining in I'm experienced was how many employees that were on break we're taking a whole booths to themselves as opposed to maybe like a small table. It's not AWFUL but it's off putting to most customers.

I've been several times now and have been very impressed each time. Value is amazing. Very friendly service and tasty food. Service is great and the staff are clearly coached on that. They're friendly, prompt, and generous. They'll give you the whole run down of the food your first time. Tons of condiments once you've ordered which is really cool- house hot oil and every other condiment you could expect at a takeout spot. Food is very good. It's not Michelin star or anything but it's fresh and tasty. Fried foods are crispy and not oily. I rarely find fried rice at takeout places worth writing home about and that's true here, I'll probably stick with steamed. Noodles are not special either but better than most takeout places in my experience- make sure to take plenty of condiments as it needs some doctoring IMO. General tsos is easily my favorite item. Crispy and well balanced. Items are a bit hit or miss but they let you try them all so it's really on you to choose something good, and doctor with condiments as needed. For example the jalapeño chicken was a bit one dimensional until I added duck sauce, soy, and vinegar. Some of the fried dishes are sitting in too much sauce (orange especially) which makes it soggy too quickly, owners should consider tweaking the ratio significantly. Lastly, value. The amount of food you get is incredible for the price you pay. Really can't emphasize this enough. They fill the box as much as possible, and personally that and the service are what will keep me coming back consistently over another local place or a Panda express.

Went there on a whim. My son said that his cousin likes the place. It was very good in general and phenomenal for the price. As we walked in, we were immediately welcomed and asked if we had been there before. They lit up when we told them "no" and they immediately got busy. They asked if we liked spicy and we told them 2 of us did. They then proceeded to cut us samples and hand them to try on toothpicks. We got a sampling of everything and everything was great! We got their 1, 2 and 3 entree meals. I got the 3 entree meal with fried rice, jalapeño chicken, black pepper chicken and the sweet and sour chicken (which was a hit with my mother as well). I rarely use big words, but I'm going to use.. prodigious. That's how the portions were. So much so, that we took a lot of food home. I've paid twice as much for a third of the food. I hope that the food reheats well. Lol Go. Take a healthy appetite and enjoy!

We went to try the newly claimed greatest restaurant in our city. The line was long. We waited about 20 minutes. The crew was working as hard and as fast as they could. They were handing out samples while we were in line so you could have an idea of what you wanted. They were very friendly and helpful. You could tell they are trying to make everyone happy. The food was hot. The portions were huge and tasted good. We enjoyed our meal and took plenty home for the next meal. I would come back again. I hope the quality stays amazing after the newness wears off.

Google
Had to try this place out, and they didn’t disappoint. The line was long, but they moved d through quick. If anything made it take long, It was the customers trying to decide what to order. The food was beyond good with huge portions. It’s a cool atmosphere which will be even better when the new place crowd dies down a bit. For the portions and the taste, the price is very good as well. They have been giving samples of the proteins as you wait in line, so you have a better idea of what to order. I usually get vegetable fried rice, but I got the noodles this time, because they looked so delicious. I now love noodles and will have a hard time making the decision on whether to try my normal rice, or sticking with the noodles. Kind of hard to pick a favorite, but the spicy Cajun chicken and bourbon chicken are definitely at the top. Can’t wait to go back!!

Google
This place is fantastic for good Chinese food. They let you sample everything there before you pick which is a major plus. The two meat was amazing, and the sides were equally delicious. My brother showed me this place and I can see why he goes at least once a week. They let you pick the sauces at the end, so if you want some yum-yum sauce and fortune cookies, go ham on that. Excited to see a great Chinese place open up in Lubbock. Students can get a free drink here too, so check it out.

Yelp
To start off, when you're new, they give you a toothpick of every entree so you can decide what you like best. To be honest I probably wouldn't have tried anything new if they hadn't done that. So I decided to try the three choice meal with jalepeno chicken, Cajun chicken and the bourbon chicken. The bourbon chicken is my go-to every time now. It's fantastic. The fried rice leaves a lot to be desired because it is so bland but it will do in a pinch. The noodles are pretty good though! As you've probably read, the serving sizes are huge and I like that for the price point. I would avoid the beef and broccoli because it is not good. At all. Probably one of the worst I've ever had which sucks because I love beef and broccoli. Just not here. Overall, minus the B&B, the food is pretty good. The service is always fantastic. The restaurant is kind of weird because of the seating but I guess you get used to it after a while. I don't sit in any of the high tables so I don't have anything to complain about that. I like it enough to be a regular now. So go give it a shot and see what you think!

Yelp
The place is clean and is run like a nascar pit crew. I was asked if I'd ever been here before - nope. Immediately I had a toothpick of every entree they offer handed to me and once I made my selection- they throw it together so quick on their assembly line. I also ordered cheese won tons. I will say they were giant and full of cream cheese. Nothing like the place with a panda for a mascot. My only cringe (or more like ouch) moment was the bill. It was a lot. Slightly over $20 when a drink was included. However...I always say cost is only an issue in the absence of value and there was easily enough food to feed 2-3 people. I will definitely be back. Next time possibly split a plate with someone.

Yelp
Everytime im in Lubbock I have to come eat at kung fu china express. The service is amazing and they let you sample everything before you buy anything. The ambiance is truly 10/10. Their food is like crack truly addicting

Yelp
New place in Lubbock, and we had heard great things about it. They ask you in line if it is your first time in. If it is, they hand you a sample of anything you want to try. You can buy individual items, or choose combos. Combos include either rice or noodles (noodles are sweet potato base), then the item/items that you want. I will tell you, the portions are large. They certainly do not skimp on food. Prices were reasonable, and everything is served in to go containers, so you can take the leftovers with you. Very friendly service. Would recommend!

Yelp
Really great experience as a first timer. Restaurant is nice and clean inside. Line workers were very friendly the moment I walked up to the counter explaining their proteins and freely offering taste samples after asking if I had ever been there before. I decided to get the 2-item plates with black pepper chicken and jalapeno chicken, but the server handed me a sample of the cajun chicken as another option. She was right. I did like the cajun chicken over the jalapeno chicken. They dish out huge portions which can easily be shared by two people. Added hot and sour soup, my favorite, paid, then waited aside while fresh black pepper chicken was being prepared. I took my food home to eat and it. The black pepper chicken is different than I've had at another chain in that it has a crispy outer texture. Cajun spicy chicken was superb. While there was no line when I entered, by the time I left there was a line of people out the door. Glad I atrived when I did!

Yelp
Food was COLD, COLD, COLD. Never going to eat there again. the cream cheese won tons dessert was delicious and hot!

Yelp
I was not impressed. I am still looking for good Chinese food in Lubbock. The employees are very nice. The booths are weird; at least the one we sat in. The table is way too high, back rest does not feel properly attached. Soda machine out of Pepsi. The food.... The fried rice was lacking any flavor I had the beef and broccoli. It was not good at all and the beef had a weird slimy texture. Chicken was average. Sauce you dip it in is room temp, not that great. People say the food is a great deal considering the huge servings. I'd rather have average deriving of great food for $12 than huge servings of sub-par food. We will not be going back. Lubbock seems to have low expectations for food.

Yelp
The food is really good nice and hot. Really big portions. You can take out or eat in. You can watch them cook while waiting to pay. The restaurant is nice and clean and really nice looking. You stand in line and pick out the food you want. They will even give you samples. Nice staff

Yelp
My mom and I each get the same order every time we order from here. She gets the Bourbon Chicken w/fried rice and I get Bourbon Chicken & Cajun Chicken w/fried rice. Other than being mystified why they don't serve the bourbon chicken with a sauce (all the malls I've ever gotten this from has), we love these meals. They give you huge portions and it tastes great. I don't know about authentic, I just know we enjoy the flavors. I definitely would recommend trying this place at least. Not a whole bunch of variety. I think I've only seen a few beef dishes and maybe one or two shrimp ones. They aren't going out of their way with huge amounts of flavors but those we've eaten are good.

Yelp
Kung Fu China Express is new and clean. If you have eaten at any mall food court chinese place, it will feel familiar. There are lots of options, including bourbon chicken, and the self-service counter is well stocked with sauces, fortune cookies, plastic silverware, etc. The staff is friendly and will offer you samples on your first visit. The price is a little higher than other places, but that completes the feeling of mall food court familiarity. Kung Fu China Express is worth a visit.

Yelp
They cook in small batches and because they're so busy, the food is almost always freshly cooked. The Spicy Cajun and Black Pepper Chicken were both delicious. The flavor of all their foods were really good and not overly salted like most are these days. The texture was still crispy on the meats cos they were freshly cooked and not sitting under heating lights. I especially enjoyed the noodles as they were mostly noodles and not cabbage to make up volume. The folks there were very friendly and super helpful to let you know where the extras were. I always get it to go because seating is very limited. You'll be lucky to find any empty tables at busy meal times. It's great that they provide free samples to try to new customers but it does hold up the line quite a bit, especially when they come in a group and everyone wants to try something. Maybe have someone with a tray offering samples, walking up/down the line instead?

Yelp
1st time placing a order used uber eats delivery. the serving portion is great goes a long way. food was hot. teriyaki chicken is good, has a gravy taste to it. different but good.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Fried rice serving was very excessive. Noodles serving was very very small. Brocolli beef not good. Beef had no flavor and brocolli was very under cooked. Chicken dishes tasted ok. First time here.
google avatar

Nick T.

Yelp
I ordered Kung Fu for delivery. 2 Items Combo General Tso's Chicken * Teriyaki beef * Half fried rice& Half noodle Cream Cheese Wonton (4 pcs) The menu reminded me of fast food Chinese like Pei Wei or Panda Express....Kung Fu is fast food Chinese, but it's far better quality, and far larger portions than either Pei Wei or Panda. 5/5 stars... will definitely order again.
google avatar

Yelp
You go through the line and choose your food, which is served in styrofoam containers. It's very casual Chinese food. Each dinner contains way too much food for any of our family to eat all by themselves, so splitting an order is what we will do next time. This place is great for a weeknight family meal or for a takeout dinner.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
The people here are so nice, they asked if it was my first time and I kid you not everyone down the service line handed me fresh samples so I knew what I wanted. Food is great and people are nice, I liked the General Tso's the best and want to try their teriyaki next.

Yelp
If it's your first time, you can sample all the meats. Friendly, clean and good food. It's a lot of food!!

Yelp
This may be my new favorite Chinese place in town! The portions are absolutely huge, plenty left for a second meal! (It does reheat well too, from personal experience!) My absolute favorite is the black pepper chicken. It's very different to what you'd find at Panda since it's crispy - it's so peppery, I love it! I also really like the bourbon chicken. If I'm getting the two-item, those are my go-tos! If I want Chinese, this is where I'm choosing to go! Highly recommend!

Megan L.

Yelp
Great take out Chinese -- exceptional portions for the price. Favorite is the black pepper chicken with lo mein.

Paris M.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in town!!! Staff was great and the food was even better. They had lots of samples and answered all of my questions. The orange chicken was really good. Building was very clean and organized.

Yelp
We ordered online. Two of the 2-entree combos, one with fried rice and one with noodles. This place is great! The food was prepared fresh so they didn't start the order till we arrived, which was ok because it was hot and delicious. Rice was ok, but noodles were very tasty. We tried the black pepper chicken, orange chicken, jalapeño chicken, and Cajun chicken. Black pepper was hands down the best, but everything was good and very plentiful.

Yelp
When I say some of the nicest service I've had in Lubbock in a long time!!!! I'm so serious food is so fresh so amazing. There was a line but it's cause they were busy and it was at 8:30 on a Wednesday which is kinda crazy. So much flavor and for such a goooooood price ! Definitely somewhere to try in Lubbock

Tanna W.

Yelp
AMAZING FOOD!!! Employees super friendly and helpful!! The food hot and super fresh. You get sooooo much food for not much money. I'll definitely be eating on this for a few meals. General Tso Chicken, orange chicken, egg rolls and rice are delicious!! They actually let me sample all of the meats and it was really hard to pick only 2, it was all yummy!! This definitely is my new favorite Chinese place!!

Jodi W.

Yelp
These guys are great. Very friendly and the food is great. They stuff the containers full so you can feed several people from one order. I really like the black pepper chicken!

Yelp
I started making this my one stop Chinese experience shop but couldn't believe that after ordering the same exact thing every payday the manager started taking my order personally almost like a ticking time bomb,I always ordered the two combo take out with my rice in a separate container to eat along with my egg drop soup as an appetizer before eating my main course but she would fill the proper container which I had to point out to her every time and if it cost extra it would be no problem but then she would pour it out and ask,"this one"a much smaller one and I'd say" no the one you just dumped out,"this one "again,"No the bigger one,"This one" "yes that one" I exclaimed, it will be extra, "yes I know " I said, again "how about this one "I couldn't believe it, so I threw my hands up and gave up,walking away surprised at why she wouldn't just give me what I ordered and I'd be on my way like it used to be, so I left puzzled to my destination across the street to the Mall where they serve almost the same thing at China Wok,so after a few weeks I figured I'd try going back maybe this time it'll be correct, but to my surprise she was back and did the same exact thing as before at first she wasn't tending to me which I blew a sigh of relief and when I thought, YES!!! finally my order is almost ready, when I sat down to wait they called my name, before leaving I checked my order and everything I was about to leave with was incorrect so again I threw my hands up and demanded my money back as the cashier refunded my money I never received it back on my card having had paid over twenty five dollars for nothing at all so I my friends will never go back to this place with no communication skills again WOW. "This one" NOOO."how bout you try this one"Noooooooooooppoooooooooooooooop.Thats her on the picture giving customers the ultimate experience of a lifetime,Emily is her name,"This one"noooooooo.

Yelp
The food was good. The service was slow as can be. I'm still waiting after 20 mins. People have mentioned how fast it was but I'm not experiencing that in any way. Place is nice enough.
google avatar

Emma P.

Yelp
I got my tonsils out and wasn't supposed to eat anything, but I had to get some noodles from here and risk it! They're that good!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
Fresh and yummy Chinese food fast! This place is nice & clean with a friendly staff! Great location across from the South Plains Mall.
google avatar

Erik A.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Reminded me of when Hong Kong Buffet was still open. Service was great. They provided us with samples when we responded that it was our first time. The tables were clean and they had someone helping out where stuff was at the condiments and soft drinks area. "Run don't walk."

Teresa a.

Yelp
We got takeout from this place because of the reviews. Ample proportions; however, it did not live up to the rave reviews. We got a combination of beef and chicken selections, but there was no flavor in either sauce. Very few vegetables. The only difference I could tell was that one was spicy (from jalapenos). The beef was so tough it was not edible. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I tried this place tonight after only hearing good things about it. Let me tell you...RUN DON'T WALK TO THIS AMAZING PLACE! First off, be prepared to wait in line, but more so be prepared for one of the most flavorful Chinese food meals you'll ever find in Lubbock. The staff is incredible, the portions far exceed your expectations, and the food is stupid good! The samples they gave us made my decision so hard, so we got waaaaaayyy too much food. We both had a pork egg roll and cream cheese wontons and they were hot and fresh. My wife had egg drop soup which she raved over. She chose the General Tso's Chicken and wasn't disappointed. I had the Black Pepper Chicken, the Bourbon Chicken, and the Orange Chicken. The Black Pepper Chicken and the Bourbon Chicken were both extremely full of flavor and great texture. The Orange Chicken was alright. I could not recommend this place anymore than I do. Immediately moves into a favorite list for me in Lubbock!

J W.

Yelp
This is amazing! Portions are more than generous. Every dish tastes so good. Flavor is consistent. Always full of customers, very clean. Quick Chinese that isn't a buffet.

Kevin D.

Yelp
The variety of food was extraordinary. Service was top-notch Clean, clean, clean.when I go to restaurants, I check everything, from restrooms to silverware, if it's a little more expensive, you bet I'm checking everything

Valerie A.

Yelp
I love their food very respectful and the place is always clean. I recommend this place to many people well worth the price.
google avatar

Kricket H.

Yelp
It was their grand opening, and when I walked in, they gave me samples of everything on the line. I was pretty good it's not super flavorful, so some sauces were needed. Seem to be pretty good quality.

Sam W.

Yelp
You will not be disappointed by this amazing cafeteria style restaurant. The food is hot & fresh, and very reasonably priced. Last time we ate here I had the bourbon chicken and this time I tried General Tso's chicken. Both were outstanding. The portions are very generous. Staff is friendly & helpful. We'll definitely be back
google avatar

Yelp
Some of the best Chinese fast food in Lubbock. Always fresh, Hugh portions, friendly helpful staff.

Scott N.

Yelp
Black pepper chicken is amazing. The staff was very friendly and insisted I try samples. It is all good!

Matthew C.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the best Chinese food spots there is. The food is great and the portions are amazing for the prices. When in line there is a nice worker walking by giving out samples. Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly. The restaurant is also very nicely spaced if you want to dine in; very clean and tidy.

Scorpion S.

Yelp
Old rice old food made me very sick for four days had the shits and stomach pain for days not good feeling like crap afterwords don't good she was nice but don't know the food had grilled black on the food was told it was the black pepper but then I see there grilled not big cleaned right all black on top do your stomach a favor stay away
