My girlfriend and I met a friend here on a Monday evening during Nashville Scene's Burger Week. I walked in and immediately said, "this is the most millennial place I've ever been to." As a millennial, I had no complaints. It was quiet on a Monday evening; again, no complaints.
This place is a bar, not a restaurant. The employees are friendly and nice, but they are casual, not attentive. You are carded at the door, and sit wherever. When you first order, you open a tab and close it when you leave. From my experience, expect to ask for things you want (drink refills, more napkins, etc.), but the staff will cheerfully accommodate.
That being said, we did go for dinner. My girlfriend and I got the burger week specials. Both of our burgers were overcooked--charred tasting and dry--but I wonder if that had to do with the prep for burger week. Our friend had a burger off the menu and seemed to enjoy it. The fries and "Tetris tots" (tater tots) were excellent, though. I don't think I would recommend the burgers.
They have free SkeeBall, cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect Four, ping pong, foosball, and other games to play. They also have rows of old pay-to-play arcade games for 25-50 cents each. Some of the games look a bit run down, but they are old and showing their age. It felt like it was supposed to be nostalgic.
The four stars are for the fried potatoes of all forms and the ambiance (I dig casual). The place is FUN. We played a few rounds of SkeeBall while waiting for our friend, and puttered around with the connect four. After dinner, we went outside to the super nice patio (with AstroTurf! who'd've thunk?) and played giant Jenga and cornhole.
TL;DR: Don't come here for a nice dinner out. Come here for the tater tots and games.
