I celebrated my birthday here with 15 guests and booked the room for $100 for 2 hrs. June the bar tender (sunday afternoon shift) had such a bad attitude towards us all from the moment we walked in and was not at all friendly to my guests or me. She made snarky remarks when someone asked her about what the drinks had in them and the drinks were watered and all my guests mentioned that the mimosas were not good compared to our last visit. No champagne and very watered. I tried 2 and it tasted like orange juice. Not a mimosa. $2 mimosas is not a big deal because there are many other places serving happy hour. She acted like she was making drinks from her home bar and she paid for the champagne in the mimosas. Fine, orange juice mimosas were fine too because we were all polite and friendly but I and my guests did not deserve the disrespect. Not acceptable. I won't be celebrating anything here again. Bri was awesome with scheduling and I came back because we had a good time last year with the guy bar tender who was awesome, but June (wears black ponytail ) made our experience horrible. Very disappointed! This will be my last time here. The mics were damaged, the props were old. I am glad we brought our own. The music has limited selection from this mini screen, not like last time where we could type it in YouTube. Kung fu has a good concept, and we enjoyed the arcade games, but needs to do something to change bad staff and maintain your facility or you will continue to lose loyal customers. Very disappointed.

Very cool space and fun decor, however had to leave due to rude staff. And you will get escorted out of bar if you have anything negative to say. Bartender dressed up as “Robin” Saturday night incredibly rude and disrespectful. When called out on his behavior, he had security take us out. Immature and unprofessional, learn to take accountability for your rude actions.

After visiting the Austin location, I was so excited to try this place out! I must say I was let down very hard. The bartenders were excellent, friendly and quick, not rude at all. Music is good in selection. However: most of the games were broken and unplayable! For a brand new place, this was super disappointing. There’s an outside area but it’s still pretty small. This was such a letdown. Maybe if things change, I’ll give it another shot.

Love coming here! As a local, I have brought many friends and always have a great time. Mary is the best bartender and is always so attentive! The games, drinks and atmosphere make every visit worth it! We will keep coming back over and over!

It was a calm vibe! I enjoyed the music they played as they played a few of my favorite tunes.. door stay was quite welcoming as well!

went late on a Monday night for my friends birthday, the atmosphere was amazing and there were a lot of mini games to keep you occupied! they have guitar hero, basketball, street fighter, etc. they also have a small outside area with jenga and very cute spinning hammock chairs. you can't rent out your own personal karaoke room, or you can hang out at the bar with our favorite bartender Billy! he was killing it all night :) highly recommend for big groups, they have a ton of drink options and happy hour selections!

Mike is a hero. Excellent cocktails, cool bar! Would stay all day for guitar hero alone hahah

It's... fine. There's 20 arcade games total not including the basketball hoops or skee ball. Lots of those cool arcade games that let's 2 or more people play. Centipede game wasn't there, LAME! Bar was busy, but everytime we walked up we were served pretty fast so no complaints there. Probably won't be back soon.

We were super early so it was just us the bartender and the games which I loved. We had such a good time. The Ms pac man was broke but we loved the skee ball and I beat my husband in basketball which was great. The bartender today was super personable and gave us the run down of the establishment. I'd come back for sure.

This place was a WHOLE vibe!!! From the champagne gun shooter, karaoke rooms, arcade games, napkin throws from the bar, selection of music..I enjoyed every single moment. They really know how to create an amazing time for their guests. One of the bartenders rubbed me the wrong way initially, but she eventually changed her tune. Other than that, no other complaints. If you haven't visited yet, you should definitely check it out!

Not certain the name of who tended my order however, she is a young, dye blonde hair, wearing a black hoodie tonight. I ordered 2 double/short crown & cokes that tasted mostly like cokes with a splash of crown. I informed the bartender and she immediately got offended as I also asked why there were no itemized listed of drinks on both receipts I recieved. She responsed with attitude, "I can get it for you if you request it" as if this is an ordinary procedure for those unaware. Then as I continued to explain I'd rather return the 2 double crown & cokes for 1 double amaretto on the rocks, she had the nerve to question my request by saying "Well, you saw me making your drinks?!", where I responded "Absolutely I did not." She continued to fix my drinks with sass, to which at this point I just wanted my drinks, give her a minimal tip only to show her that it isn't that big of a deal and to "cheer up" as I stated on the ticket WITH her undeserving minimal tip. This person needs an obvious wake up call, training, or a different job field, and I'd highly recommend some formal reprimand, disciplinary action, or all around release from being employed at an establishment I previously found to be descent but realized I've experienced people like herself and the service more and more over time. Most fun I've had in years. Great spot out. Expect a good amount of college kids however they still have a good fun vibe very positive atmosphere

I came here this past weekend with friends hearing much about the bar / games they had. We did come pretty early, so not many folks were here but might get busy at night. The bartender we had was very nice and was able to get us our drinks fairly quickly. They had $5 beer, which wasn't too bad, but also had options to buy Fiesta metal and shirts, which looked cool. The games they had some were pretty cool. Some of the games were free and others like the mini tables on the side you had to pay a quarter (Pacman for example definitely brought me back when I was younger) I did expect to see more there but was a small bar. They also had a patio in the back too for folks to sit outside. There were some rooms too that look like you could rent out for maybe a special event but again pretty small, so make sure you look it up first before you book it. I might consider coming back at night to see how busy it gets. Overall, it's not a bad place to try out.

This place has it all. Very big space. Games are free all night until 2. Games include Ms.Pacman, Basketball, Skeevall, guitar hero, street fighter vs marvel, + more. FREE. Service is prompt, an employee was walking around all night wiping down tables and collecting cups so it's very clean. Outside they have heaters, giant jenga, AND a Twisted Tea Blow up good for pictures. Womens restroom is very cute with great lighting for pics of course. No cover for M or W at the door also!

This place is always a fun spot to go when there's cars in the parking lot. Sundays is free games with a DJ playing so great spot to hit up while doing Sunday Funday. I haven't been to the speakeasy in the back but I really think they should make it a reservation only to make it more exclusive and not just a tiny bar room.

Not as many games as I thought there would be. Bathroom decor is unique and cute. i didn't have any food but i did have drinks. the drinks were a bit pricey for the size but the flavor was good. there wasn't a lot of people at the bar so the service was quick and getting drinks was no hassle.

Kung Fu is an awesome bar with cool bartenders. They have cool games like ski ball and a basketball shooting game. There are private karaoke rooms as well. This place gets pretty packed on weekends which means you sometimes have to wait a while to order a drink. The bartenders are good at making drinks fast though.

My friends and I visited this bar for a birthday. The main thing I can say about this place is surprise 20% tip charge after you spend 100 dollars. At no point did the staff mention a policy stating this and at no point did I see signs stating this policy. When I asked a bartender where this 20% added gratuity is stated or shown, he said "that's just what they told us." I have no problem leaving a tip for a bar tab but any tip should be determined by myself based on service. We argued with the manager, and after ugly looks and attitude she took off the "gratuity." I don't know but I feel like this practice should be investigated. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Pretty cute. My bestie and husband wanted to try this place. We came in early, so there wasn't a crowd. The bar tender tended to us quickly. They have happy hour options when we came in. Drafts were 5 dollars. There's plenty of game options and even a few free ones. Definitely a nice place to have a drink and play some games. We didn't stay long since a storm was heading our way. However, I would recommend and definitely will be back.

Had high hopes for this place. Came recommend from a coworker, but was not impressed. I went with 4 people, and we all ordered different drinks. None of them were good. Music was mediocre. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because it had a few a arcade games, an outdoor area, and a couple of karaoke rooms. Do yourself a favor and go next store to Camp 1604.

We came here a few weeks after they opened. We saw they were opening soon when we stopped at Camp 1604 the week before. I hope they were just experiencing some opening woes, because our experience was not great. The staff was great, but the games were not. None of the table games worked, but all seemed to be plugged in. The skee-ball machines were free, but they only had a few balls each and weren't in good condition. The arcade games were retro, which seemed cool. We had a decent amount of quarters lost to games that did not work. Despite this, everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun! The space was really nice. There were a couple of private karaoke rooms and a good outdoor area. Supposedly, there is a speakeasy, but we weren't able to find it. We will definitely give this place another shot

Fun bar where you can go hang out and have drinks with friends. They have skee ball!! They also have some other games. Do take your quarters, but if you don't, they do have a change machine. I went on a Saturday and they had a DJ playing good music. The bar has plenty of options. It can get busy, but the bartenders are quick. For two drinks, I paid $19. Parking can get tricky as it is shared with camp 1604. I'm not sure if children are allowed, but I did see one child while I was there.

We brought our party to have karaoke. My boss friend had rented a room as a gift for one hour The ambiance was perfect BUT The room was trashed before we came, it took a while to clean. Then it took about 30 minutes total to get the speaker system right. My friends had fun regardless because of each other's company and we had brought our own food. But they didn't offer to give back $ since the karaoke was sub standard or didn't work right. I grew up singing karaoke. I wouldn't recommend renting their room for it.

Looking for a loud and wild night? This is your place. Looking for a quiet laid back evening, go next door. I would've loved this place in my twenties. I guess I'm too lame for the loud music and constant gonging

The drinks are good and we had fun in the karaoke room (but the rental was a bit too pricey). The selection of arcade games is fun but also a little limited. My biggest complaint was the scent. The smell of cleaner was overwhelming so we had to sit outside. It didn't smell bad, just very fragrant

This past weekend, I was celebrating my best friend's birthday and did a little karaoke night. We usually have no issues with the staff, but this time around the bartenders were extremely rude, especially the manager, Jude. Our party got charged for stealing a charger/mic cord. When we obviously didn't steal anything. So when we tried to address the issue. Jude blew us off and was being extremely unprofessional, cussing at us and threatening to fire her staff if they tried to talk to us. This was a terrible experience. I hope Kung Fu acknowledges this behavior, because the bartenders including Jude were taking photos all night long instead of helping the customers. Pleas do better. Extremely disappointed.....

Great place to meet with friends! We spent most of the night playing ping pong and the games inside. The bar staff were really sweet!

Went the other day with my girls for karaoke and Abby gave us the best service!! The drinks were good and the atmosphere was so fun we had a great time! We will definitely be back.

This Sunday, I was celebrating my birthday with my friends and decided to book a karaoke room. Since we arrived, the staff was very rude. Either way, we stayed for karaoke. I signed the policy paper with the manager Jude, asked her questions about it, and was let into the room by Tyanie, where she only handed me 2 microphones and left the room. No one checked in on us the entire 2 hours of our karaoke time nor gave us any service in the room. We have done karaoke here many times before and we always get service in our room. After the 2 hours were up and I was ready to check out, I signed my receipt of $122 ($100 for 2 hours of karaoke and a 20% gratuity fee--which I wasn't told prior about) Suddenly, Jude stopped me and told me there was one cord missing and accused us of stealing it. Why would we take a random cord??? She then wanted to charge me $50 for the cord that was not in the room before we showed up. My friends and I took videos and pictures of the room within the first minutes of being there and there was only ONE cord connected to the TV, not 2 cords as claimed by her. I asked Jude to please check the cameras and we tried to show her the videos and pictures we took, but she kept refusing to check the cameras or see the pictures and videos. The entire time we tried to have a conversation with her calmly, she kept rolling her eyes, raising her voice at us, and calling us names. I stayed polite and understanding the entire time. I never raised my voice with her as I'm not a confrontational person, and Jude started becoming so aggressive to the point where I had to call San Antonio PD because I was afraid for my and my friends' safety. Jude also told every bartender in the bar to stop talking to us and told them to refuse us service (We witnessed this and one of the bartenders told us she did this). She charged me $50 for the cord + a 20% gratuity fee that we were not informed about prior and didn't agree with because no one gave us service the entirety of our karaoke session. We had to step outside of the room and open a different tab to try and get a drink. And they weren't busy or understaffed. The staff also kept changing their stories about the situation: the barback with glasses lied and said he opened the room for me and checked the room beforehand, which was not true at all because Tyanie was the one who walked into the room with me, and there was only one cord. While I am very upset that they charged me $50 for a cord we didn't take, I am even more distraught about how the situation was handled and how we were treated. I ended up in tears and suffered from a panic attack during the ordeal. Jude Hodges is extremely unprofessional and we believe she racially profiled our group through the accusations and comments she was making. They could've handled the situation a lot better by showing compassion and respect, instead, Jude decided to profile us, harass us, and be extremely aggressive with her behavior when it was not necessary. It breaks my heart that I was treated and degraded so horribly on my birthday, especially when my friends drove hours from out of town to be here and I was highly recommending this place before we showed up. I used to be a regular here and never had any problems before. The only people who at least tried to de-escalate the situation by having a conversation and treating us with respect were Z, RJ, and the nice bartender Mary. However, no one gave us a solution and told us they would check the cameras the next day (Monday). There's now a new charge on my account instead of the one I initially signed. I never signed a receipt for the new charge of what they accused us of.

Great concept - bad execution. We'd heard this was an old school arcade with a bar! Sounds great, right!! They have about a dozen unique games and most of them didn't work when we were there!

So i was going to the bar with my friends, and lo and behold i'm not allowed to get in due to my sports jersey. what's was my sports jersey? A spongebob jersey with a picture of spongebob on the back with no team name what's so ever. Even fictional teams are considered an issue apparently

My wife, her friend and I decided to go to the Kung Fug Saloon. We got there at 4:pm when they open so no crowds at that time. I had a modelo. One bar tender but like I said it was opening time. The games all were free, I don't know if it an early special but I played Mortal Kombat, NFL Blitz and skew ball. I think we need to go at a later to get the full bar vibe. All and all I enjoyed my self.

Fun atmosphere, good drinks, attentive bartenders. Free game play on Sundays makes for a date night easy on the pocketbook. Will be going back again when in town!

I had a great time. Drinks were pricy but I think it's pretty fair given that they tasted amazing with the perfect amount of liquor. I loved the vibes here, my boyfriend and I had a bomb ass time. Both bartenders were dope Af. Music is definitely fun! I'm a huge Reggaetón fan but It was nice to hear 2000s rock and a few throw backs. Didn't meet anyone racists but if I ever do when I'm there, I'll change this review hella quick! Lol.

The most rude bartenders you will ever meet! The long haired blonde guy seemed pleasant at first, but charged us a double for a drink that he did not serve fully and seemed pissed off when we asked to top it off. And then the self proclaimed Manager told us we need to move our tables and let us know we were losing our shit !!!!! So rude!! We were there BEFORE she was there and she thought it was her priority to move us. Extremely rude! Here's a picture of her ugly face.

After going to Camp 1604, we decided to try this place next door. They are owned by the same people and have a much different concept. The beer selection is ok and the bartender was really nice. When we got there, it wasn't very crowded and the music was a fun array of old hits. We had a great time sitting at the bar. There are old video games to play (TMNT was one of my all time favorites).

decided to come to kung fu for some drinks with my best friend. It was my first time at Kung fu. I don't know if the drinks were perfect for me or it was the great time and conversation we were having with Adrian our bartender. I highly recommend checking kung fu out & ask for Adrian you will gave a great time!

Was in here for the first time last weekend and had Gracie as my bartender. The Ambiance was great and the drinks were fairly priced and tasted Amazing. Gracie was friendly and very attentive whenever I needed a new drink. Will be back and be bringing friends to experience this place.

Update, the owner/manager admitted to me that I was overcharged and ignored my question about any compensation. His focus was solely on who the bartender was. I understand mistakes happen but this is unprofessional unacceptable.

Oh absolutely do not go here. I was so excited to go here for the first time and have karaoke night with my friends, but for one- I couldn't even find anyone to let me in the karaoke room and had to run and find someone. What??? Here's the kicker though. Because I couldn't find anyone, I went back out to the bouncers that had already ID'd me and my friends to ask them how I go about getting my reservation. Come to find out one of the bouncers was fucking RUDE and said he remembered me and not to ID me again, while my friends (mind you, I am a white man and my friends are two people of color) were being ID'd again after being let in literally 15 minutes before that. We politely said why they could remember me but not my friends who were ID'd at the exact same time as me. It felt like an outward display of power and control because he was the bouncer. Immediately my friends didn't hesitate to show their ID's and still, the bouncers would not let my friends in. I was confused because we had just gotten ID'd but even more confused when the bouncer started putting his hands on my friend and when she told him to stop, he kicked us all out and told us to go to the bar next door. This is an extreme power play on the bouncers end, and it showed me their true colors. Even the other bouncer said we didn't deserve to be kicked out because we didn't even do anything at all. I think this man was getting caught up for harassing my friend when she was just confused as to why she needed to be ID'd again. Absolutely fucking awful. Fire your bouncer that's rude as fuck for no reason to everyone he encounters. I hope y'all keep getting bad reviews because I tried to report him and no one answered nor do I want to go through the hassle of getting my deposit back. Fuck this place, we spent 10 whole minutes here and as people who are avid club goers and love to dance, this place gave us horrible vibes the moment we arrived.

Horrible service while reserving a karaoke room. We spent 2 hours there just to get no wait service the whole time. On top of that one of the managers, Jude, accused us of steeling a iPhone cord, then proceeded to charge us $50!! I'm very disappointed and angry because this occurred on my fiancées birthday and because I liked going here. Sadly after this experience, I will not be back nor recommend any of my friends to do the same.

Always fast and easy service! Menu is easy to read and if it's packed the wait is always 5-10mins!

Bartender was friendly and quick but almost $15 for an 8 ounce drink was ridiculous. I'm a lightweight so I typically get buzzed off of 3 drinks and I barely feel anything besides irritated at the $15 price. Overall it was alright but at those prices, I'd rather go elsewhere.

Visiting Kung fu saloon was probably one of the most interesting places I've ever been to. There was a good amount of arcade games inside the bar and they were all vintage arcade games you'd find in an arcade from the 80's. The drinks they served there were really good, not too hard not too light just the right amount of mixtures in one glass. The service was phenomenal, I've never met a staff that was so professional and fun to be around they all really know how to make a person feel welcome and comfortable. To bring this review to an end if I could rate this bar 10 stars I would it deserves it, I highly recommend coming here if you want to go on a date and involve a one on one arcade game against your boyfriend/ girlfriend.

I came here with a group of four. The concept of this establishment is great, and we were looking forward to visiting. The bartender seemed disinterested, the beer was not very cold and many of the games we tried did not work correctly. My entire group decided to leave after the first round. I do not plan on returning.

Kung fu saloon was amazing great drinks and vibe took my family and had amazing time. They have a awesome cocktail bar in back Ghostbusters theme was awesome and drink great. Bartender Rachel was working and she was amazing very nice and informative and made me feel like I was at my neighborhood bar at home she needs a raise because she was above and beyond on making sure we had a good time thank you Rachel see you again next time!
