"Kung Fu Tea has been around Allston since 2013, when this large international chain, with roots in Queens, New York, first expanded to the Boston area. The very customizable menu includes many different types of bubble tea — classic tea options, milk teas, slushes, and more — including clearly marked vegan options." - Karen Wilber

Something has changed for the worse. I am used to a richer thai tea with the light orange tint from the spice mix but this tasted nothing like Thai tea; it just tasted like a powdered milk tea mix with no distinct flavor. The boba tasted off to me as well so I threw away the rest. Service was fine but I can’t go back after this experience.

This place has some healthy less sugary options! I enjoyed the black sesame matcha tea. My friends matcha milk tea latte was really good if you like sweet!

Arwen L

Google
I like the milk cap matcha with boba but the quality appears to be lacking these days...

Catherine Tucker

Google
Note the menu they have displayed is limited relative to the true menu which is online! They do have coconut bubble tea.

Google
I have been a loyal customer for years, but the quality of their boba tea is worse and worse. I ordered a watermelon milk tea with 30% sugar which means I prefer less sweetness, the staff told me the sugar level is not adjustable, and did not warn me about how sweet it will be. As a result, he spent 25 second to make me a super sweet tea that is not drinkable. The price is more and more ridiculous too, so there it goes $8 went completely wasted🤮🤮🤮

Google
Very less quantity, you can see in photo - half filled with ice. I felt guys were not friendly once the drink was ready, they even didn't call out, saying drink is ready.

Google
This rating is at 2.5 stars. This is your * average * bubble tea place at Boston. This place is cheaper than other places and close at 11 pm, which is great for late night bubble tea cravings. But don't go 15 mins before closing- they will likely running out of everything. Kung Fu tea as a chain in general place near the bottom of my boba shop rankings: their milk teas taste way too powdery and don't get the milk cap, you can literally taste the grain. But they are the few places that has fig jelly which I love. But again my taste is orianted more on tea and not sugary or powdery taste. But they are cheaper than other boba places.

I love everything you get here and the Taro Milk Tea with Boba is my favorite.

Yelp
I love milk tea here, most of the time. My all time favorite is KF Milk Green Tea with herbal jelly! Download the app because you will get rewards for free topping, $1 off, etc. check your emails frequently! The first few times, my orders came out perfect. This most recent visit on Tuesday 10/5/21 around 2:30pm did not go well. We found out they used the milk powder which did not mix well. You can taste the power! Had to ask him to remake but still not satisfied! Guess I will try again at night when the girls work. Feel like they take more time to make the order correctly! I live very close by so it's a perfect location.

Ghaya A.

Yelp
I had a large order and called several days in advance to check on it and no one here picks up the call. I was unsure of delivery and no one picked up the phone for multiple days.

Yelp
I don't like beans in my drinks, not even MUNG FU If you brought the tea, it's already been BRUNG FU If you're seventeen, sorry bae, but you're too YOUNG FU But if you want Lemon Black Tea, you come to KUNG FU! It makes some of the rivals taste like eating cow DUNG FU It's at the top of the ladder, while you're on the lowest RUNG FU You'll love if you're easy going, even highly STRUNG FU So if you want a Lemon Black Tea, you come to KUNG FU I tasted it and screamed so loud that I collapsed a LUNG FU I carried on screaming and sounded like Angus YOUNG FU They played Sting on the radio, but I'm already STUNG FU By the wondrous Lemon Black Tea they serve at KUNG FU I went to the toilet, opened Snapchat, then I SUNG FU Came back, took my pants off, and the girls yelled "HUNG FU!" In walked Barbie and immediately I'm SPRUNG FU And you should come and get a Lemon Black Tea from KUNG FU! WHAT This is a nice, cozy Kung Fu Tea in Allston. There are actually two of them here... one is inside the food court on the main road, and then the other is on Harvard Ave as it winds away and turns towards the south. This is the Harvard Ave location. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! They made the Lemon Black Tea well, like most Boston locations do. You can ask for a little extra sweetness if it's too sour for you, we sometimes do, and in Boston it comes out pretty consistently at all the KFT locations in terms of flavour. It's a great addition to Allston and one of the better places that we come when we're in town! So if you think your life is now over And your gf won't let you disrobe her And you ask what I think Just come get a drink Kung Fu's Lemon Black Tea with Boba!

Andrew C.

Yelp
Ordered via KFT app for takeout. Pick up orders are all on the table after you enter the store. I'd recommend looking at the labels before you reach for the cups. There might be a wait if your order is not ready yet. Best place is to wait outside so it does not crowd the entrance. There's no guidance for this so hopefully people give each other their space to pick up the order. Pro tip: If you plan on returning to a KFT in the future, use their app for additional perks.

Cleveland J.

Yelp
Great service great tea I had the passion fruit slush Andrew was amazing very enthusiastic and professional

Tien-yu H.

Yelp
Original boba!! And they have discounts from time to tim at the stores I use their app to collect points etc

Breana L.

Yelp
Happen to stumble in on a night with buy one get one free drinks!!! Definitely try the milk cap, with 50% sweetened matcha is my favorite!

Tianna D.

Yelp
I lost my Bubble Tea flower here. And I became obsessed. I always get their hot teas. Oolong Milk Tea (most favourite) especially with pudding. Milk Green Tea with bubbles or by itself Taro Milk Tea with pudding or by itself The store is always packed though. That's my only negative to this specific location.

Mei L.

Yelp
Came in here after eating around the area. It wasn't that busy surprisingly!!! Usually when i walk by it's so packed that i give up on my fix of bubble tea. My basic order is milk tea with no ice and less sugar. They did just that! No complaints~ Side note, if you're not a fan of powder milk/flavoring better go with regular plain tea, cause you'll notice it. Definitely recommend this place for just hanging out with your friends, chatting, etc. I wouldn't recommend it for studying or working. Noise pollution here is high regardless whether or not it's busy. The rating would've been higher if it weren't for the hole i had to sit on in the booth area. If only i didn't wear a dress i wouldnt be as bothered but... it bothered me.

Tiffanie J.

Yelp
I'm honestly here like every week, but absolutely no shame. This Kung Fu Tea location is always consistent and the drinks are amazing. Kung Fu Tea in Boston probably has the best tasting boba, since it is cooked in sugar. This KFT has pretty good service, cashiers do their thing and the drinks are always made right away, in a timely manner. Some of my favorite drinks at Kung Fu Tea are the milk based drinks: winter melon green milk tea, oolong milk tea, and the regular milk tea. These usually go great with grass jelly or boba. If I'm not feeling a milk based drink, I usually go for the winter melon green tea, regular green tea, oolong green tea, or the passion fruit green tea. These go great with boba, but all of these drinks are great without toppings! Lines here are pretty long usually, but they go by quickly! Download the app to earn points and to pay with your phone!

Rocky W.

Yelp
This is your standard bubble tea shop. I come here usually about once every two weeks. I order using the app to save time and to get rewards. Always good service here as they have never messed up my order. My go to order is the Large Taro Slush. Easy service, once they finish an order they put it on the counter for easy pick-up. No tables to sit at due to COVID.

Julia P.

Yelp
Love the variety of teas here - there is something for everyone! I brought two friends who had never had boba before and they were nervous they wouldn't like it, but they were able to find something they loved. Very quick service as well, definitely one of my favorite places for boba in the area

Kumly J.

Yelp
The screen say i can said " No sugar or No syrup" for milk tea but the guy who made my drink he said no he cannot do no sugar because it will be no taste! I understand that cause i don't want sugar. I want milk and tea and bobble. Btw, the milk tea i got today ( i never tried winter melon milk tea before) but some other tea i can do without no sugar/no syrup Updating review, Kung Fu tea manager was contacted me and want to make it up by give me 2 free drinks. Thank you for your attention to customer. Kung Fu Tea was and always will be my fav milk tea place. I love the Taro milk tea, 10% sugar/syrup with bobble.

Joie T.

Yelp
Lychee punch is a great option for hot summer days. It's so refreshing and I love the lychee bits! I also tried their matcha milk tea and it wasn't overly sweet. Would order both drinks again!

Justin W.

Yelp
Can't ever go wrong with the Oolong milk tea drinks are always on point and customer service is amazing

Madison C.

Yelp
Boba is ultra soft, and extra sweet. Staff is polite and patient. I recommend milk taro with extra boba.

Raymond L.

Yelp
The best in making the powdery and sugary drink . Literally huge ladles of powder in a milk black tea. Please switch to lactaid, but they keep saying they can't do that. Adjustments are super limited. This is worse then drinking a can of coke. One sip and the rest is garbage. My friend tried their coffee and ended up throwing up the entire night. Non stop. I had to take care of her and almost had to bring her to the hospital for fear of losing too much liquids. their grapefruit and lemon tea is literally the only thing good here. The saving grace. Looks like it is made with some real fruit, tho I only see them out the pulp in there. The rest is from a squeeze bottle.

Gabbi T.

Yelp
Probably my favorite boba joint in town! The taro milk tea is my go-to order, occasionally switching it up with passion fruit green tea or taro slush if you don't mind the high calorie amount.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Since when did boba get so expensive? I got a large Kung fu milk tea with bubbles and after tax it was $5.62. Sheesh! I'm glad I can specify to order half sugar and full ice on my drinks. There is a clear line, big menu, clean facility. On Sunday 4pm there were still 1/3 of the seats available. I came a few months ago on a Saturday afternoon and there was a line peeking out of the door with no chance of a seat. Free WiFi, which is why I'm here now.

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
A go to location for me and my husband. This is pretty similar to the other locations in terms of menu. The service here can be on or off depending on how many people are behind the counter. We went once and there was only one person behind the counter and they were taking orders as well as making drinks. Location is clean. Favorite drinks here are winter melon milk tea, jasmine and oolong.

Hannah B.

Yelp
This might just be my personal bias but I'm really not a fan of the honey flavored boba here! Most places I go to have brown sugar boba as the default and when I ordered the classic milk tea and thai tea here the flavor just seemed a little off. The thai tea wasn't even orange, it was the same color as the milk tea and there was barely a flavor difference. The boba itself is nice and chewy and well made but the flavor was just offputting. Overall just not my favorite spot in the area for boba.

Derek L.

Yelp
The Kung Fu Tea in Allston/ Brighton is about what you'd expect from every Kung Fu Tea you've been to; however, the location is tiny and there is not too many seating options. In terms of the bubble tea, I think Kung Fu Tea does a great job at making an average bubble tea. you can customize the amount of sugar and the amount of ice - much like all of the bubble tea shops. The service is fast and if you have not tried bubble tea I'd recommend this restaurant. Overall, small venue and large crowd, I think Kung Fu Tea is over hyped. The bubble is pretty average and at $5 for a large drink, it is priced too high for the contents.

Violet V.

Yelp
Tried the Rosehip milk tea, which was a little too sweet for me, but it definitely quenched the bubble tea thirst I've had since quarantine began.

Ilana Z.

Yelp
Was going to go to Cha Time around the corner, but Cha Time was out of boba on a Friday night at 9 pm. We went to Kung Fu instead, and the place had a long line that wrapped around the store. I ordered the Large Matcha Milk Tea with Boba(no sugar), and my friend got Large Almond Milk Tea. It was delicious! However, our order numbers were #42 and #43. Order #46 was sadly told the place ran out of boba. Make sure the have boba before you order!

Polly Y.

Yelp
Conveniently located with consistent flavors. This is a popular location and hangout among college students, especially on Fridays, and one of the best locations. For those unfamiliar with the chain, there is a large variety of drink flavors, and often new ones coming out seasonally. There's a lot of flexibility in customizing sugar and ice levels, as well as a large selection of lactose free options. My favorites are the milk green tea (hot!) and the taro slush (very sweet, I prefer with little sugar). Recently tried the purple yam latte which is not bad, and made with "100% real purple yam". I also enjoy the atmosphere which usually has mandarin pop songs, and top hits. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
When Kung Fu Tea first invaded Allston, I was extremely angry. I just couldn't understand why people would wait in line (often the line would go out the door) to order a bubble tea. For many months, I refused to come to this place out of pride. I really thought this place was just a hype and that it would die off soon. Many months have passed and I still couldn't believe my eyes. There are ALWAYS CUSTOMERS IN THIS STORE. One day I couldn't take it anymore. So I decided to swallow my own pride and give it a try. I ordered the regular medium milk tea with tapioca balls...... First sip of this drink made me fall to my knees and repent of my sins. I repented of my pride and asked for Kung Fu Tea's forgiveness. It was a surreal experience. I don't know what they use to make this drink but its definitely not of this world. Its either out of space or from some other parallel universe. I have never tasted anything like this before. Oh don't even get me started on those tapioca balls.....they are covered in sweet honey and they are so chewy yet gentle at the same time. I love these balls in my mouth. omg so good. My other favorite go to drink is coffee slush with bubbles. I was extremely sad to find out that they took this off of their menu recently. I can only hope and pray that they will bring this back because this drink is definitely second to none out of all the drinks that they offer. In any case, Kung Fu Tea is for real and I am a living testimony to this truth. If you are like me and you are avoiding KFT out of your prideful heart, I can only pray that the spirit of Kung Fu Tea will soften your heart and allow you the gift of regeneration to see the beauty and majesty of KFT. Oh bring cash because there is $10 credit card limit.

Quan A.

Yelp
Thank you for such amazing service! Got all my drink orders right. I think the best kung fu store in boston

David Y.

Yelp
It's probably one of the better boba places around Boston other than some of the ones you can find in China town. They introduced popping bubbles into their selection, which I appreciate if only because the tapioca balls can sometimes not taste as good or fresh. The only downside to this place is that there's just simply always a line when I go, and while it's decent boba it's not off-the-walls amazing so I guess there are limited selections when it comes to your milk tea in Allston.

Taya A.

Yelp
Good stuff but crazy overpriced. Two large milk teas with just boba added came to over 12 bucks. Definitely felt overcharged. The people working were pretty rude so I wouldn't be surprised if we were overcharged on purpose. I'd probably go to a different spot next time.

Zackary P.

Yelp
Out of all the bubble tea places that I have been in Boston, Kung Fu Tea would be rated second, right behind Teado, for the following reasons: cost, taste, and variety. Cost. I do not know why, but every time I go to KFT, I feel as if I am getting cheated of my money for the amount of bubble tea that I am receiving. I always get the large slush bubble tea without any toppings, and the total comes out to be a little over $5.00. I just feel like the cost is lower at Teado compared to KFT. In addition, there is a minimum purchase amount for credit/debit cards, which is $5.00. Hence, the reason I always order a large slush no matter what because I do not carry around any cash and the total is always $5.00. Taste. I just feel like the taste is subpar compared to Teado in every aspect. There ARE some good flavors that are better or are exclusive to KFT, such as the matcha red bean slush, which is basically a green tea red bean slush. However, other drinks that I have tried are just terrible, such as the new drink of the summer, the strawberry lemonade green tea drink. I have no idea why they even came up with that or how. Variety. The variety is good at KFT. There is a wide selection of choices. However, they do not have some of the popular flavors such as avocado smoothie and roasted milk tea. Teado has these flavors. Nonetheless, there is most likely a flavor here that is suitable to your tastebuds. The go-to drinks that I get here are the red bean slush and the taro slush. Can't ever mess up on these drinks. KFT is the second best in Boston (right behind Teado), so take advantage of good bubble tea!

Winni C.

Yelp
Now that PC Cafe has closed (for a long time), this location has been my go to for boba in Allston. Milky drinks are perfectly creamy and non-milky drinks are flavorful as well. The only drink that I like yet has been a hit or miss is the matcha milk. Sometimes the drink is perfectly mixed, other times it tastes like pure powder. It definitely has a strong matcha flavor though, which I like. My other favorites are the oolong milk tea and wintermelon milk tea. I generally prefer milky drinks at KFT and go elsewhere for others. Also, KFT introduced me to the milk cap topping which I realllly like - perfect for sweet and salty combo lovers. This review applies to all the KFT's in Boston in regards to taste. Overall, I do think drinks are on the sweeter end and 75% sugar is sufficient for me. Service at this location specifically can be hit or miss. Night time and weekends are mad busy with lines wrapped all around the front and practically out the door. Weekdays during the afternoon are way quicker!

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
I love KF tea but the workers at this location are so bad. This place has gone down hill since the young kids took over. They scoop all of the flavor out of the tea and you're left with a watery bland mess. Only the girl makes it decent here but all of the guys are horrible at it. I've been coming here for years and the lines used to be out the door but not anymore. Not sure if the owners changed or these kids are just lazy about sticking to the formula. They literally scoop out all the foam which has the flavor every time they pour it in a cup, it's sad.

Idy T.

Yelp
5 stars for the best boba in Boston! I discovered Kung fu tea when I visited New York and fell in love with this place ever since! I was so excited to learn that Kung fu tea was opening in Boston! I love their Kung fu green milk tea. That is the drink I usually get! I really like how you can customize your drink to the amount of ice and the amount of sweetness you want. A lot of boba places in Taiwan and Hong Kong are like that as well. So Kung fu tea must be authentic right? Their boba has the perfect chewiness! I call myself the boba expert and I have a pretty high standard on how the perfect boba should taste like. And I believe that Kung fu tea's boba is close to perfect! I can't wait for the Chinatown location to open! I will probably get this like every day now!

Mary T.

Yelp
Finally, there is a decent boba/bubble tea place in Boston! It is so sad that it took 6 months for me to find a place with good boba here. I am always in Chinatown and I have tried all of the boba places, but none of them are to my liking. I even tried some in Allston/Brighton.. but still, it doesn't compared to boba places in LA such as Half&Half, or GongCha in Asia.. I am glad Kung Fu Tea decided to expand their business to Boston just so I can get some good boba now. It saves a lot of time and money for me because I don't have to go all the way to New York anymore just to get some good boba. Words can't even express how excited I am that they opened Kung Fu Tea in Boston! I tried Kung Fu Tea for the first time when I visited New York because I was in desperate need to get my boba intake due to the lack of good boba in Boston. instantly, I was hooked. I usually go for the green milk tea with boba or boba milk tea. The reason why this is 5 stars because seriously, this is the only GOOD boba place around Boston. There are no other places that can compare. They make their boba just right, it is sweetened, soft and chewy at the same time, not soggy and bland like how the other places usually serve it. It is just so freaking good. I had it a couple times already and they've only opened for a week. Their milk tea drinks are usually on the milky side. So it depends on your preference. Upon ordering, they will ask how sweet you like your drink and how much ice you want if you ordered a cold drink. You can personalize your drink to the way you like it. I am not sure if you can ask to make it less milky, I will go back soon and ask about that. They are a little slow at times. The first time I went, I thought it was a little overstaffed, and some workers were just standing around slurping on boba. When one of the workers put a freshly made drink down and poked a straw in, I thought it was my drink and I was ready to walk up but then I saw her drinking it away. All I could think of was when will my drink be ready. Maybe it was just that day because another time when I went, it wasn't overstaffed, and they made their drinks quickly. They are supposed to accept credit card soon, but I am not sure if there is a minimum to use it. Also they are opening another one in Chinatown soon, I asked the manager and he said they are aiming for 1 1/2 to 2 months. We will see what happens.

Ellie W.

Yelp
Kung Fu is my go-to boba spot, partially because it's literally expanded to every corner of Boston overnight, though I'm not complaining. I crave bubble tea about every 3 and a half hours, every other day, on the dot. This place gets pretty packed with the BU international student crowd (my friend and I spotted about 20 LV purses and 5 new noses, and that creepy eyelid surgery that makes your eyes bigger in about 30 minutes), so if anything, it's a fair people-watching spot while you wait for your drink;). My go-to's here are the taro milk tea with grass jelly and the matcha "slush" aka shake with red beans, but virtually everything on the (huge) menu is a winner, so go wild with your combos:)

Kellie W.

Yelp
OMG this strawberry slush with bubbles may be the best thing I've ever drank (that's not a word but whatever) you get it, it's unreal.

Yin J.

Yelp
The manager here is pretty sweet and i understand things happen. I was angry by that time when I was writing the original comment but then I was fine and almost forgot about this. The manager contacted me with a decent apology and I feel this attitude worth a good review. Original comment: The worker here doesn't know how to put the cap on the cup at all. My hot milk tea spilled out and my hand was hurt by the hot water. Most stupid worker ever seen.

Yuka Y.

Yelp
Kung Fu Tea expanded their drink menu since I've last been here in the spring. Now they actually have slushies, red bean, and yakult drinks! My Taiwanese friend tells me that Kung Fu Tea is close to the real deal in Taiwan, so to me that justifies the ridiculous crowd on weekends. A new branch is opening up in Chinatown, hopefully that kills down the traffic in Allston. Choose your drink off the flat screen TV, note your sugar level preference (awesome!), and whether you want ice. Drinks will be labeled with your receipt # and its name. Favorites of mine: -Kung Fu Milk Tea + red bean topping. Half sugar. It's sweet with real tea essence. -Yakult Grapefruit, half sugar. Refreshing, light drink for 90F weather. A surprisingly matching combo. The fact that my teeth didn't get sensitive after drinking this tells me it ain't fresh grapefruit juice. -The boyfriend's Yakult Green Tea is very similar to Panera's ice green tea. Half sugar and lightly sweet, it complements well with lychee jelly. Interestingly, the yakult precipitates at the top of the green tea and is not dissolvable!

Susan M.

Yelp
Yogurt green tea (30% sugar) was ok. Might taste better with no sugar since the yogurt already have sugar. The pudding was very light. Matcha milk was good.

Amy D.

Yelp
Ordered 0% sugar, got a cup labeled 30%, tastes 150%. The sweetest milk tea ever had. Won't admit their mistake.

Alice S.

Yelp
A bit larger than most other Kung Fu Tea locations. This one is less popular than the other one in Allston but since we were in this area looking for cakes, we thought to stop by afterwards. To be honest I really was disappointed they didn't do a custom drink that I wanted to try, but I was still fairly happy with the Italian mocha slush with boba. The honey in the boba is very generous, so it really depends on whether you love honey or dispise the taste of it. I got a mouthful upon the first sip so I had to stir the drink a bit to distribute the honey evenly. Overall fairly good and consistent with the other locations. Just wish they allowed my "recipe" for a kick.

Goku U.

Yelp
Kung Fu is pretty consistent, every now and then we get a drink that is on the sweeter end. We normally get the classic kung fu, honey green tea, and taro milk tea. This time we tried the taro milk which was nice and doesn't contain any tea, unfortunately, this drink is only offered during the winter so get it while you can! This location is nice and has plenty of seats, but it can get busy during certain hours.

David C.

Yelp
First time here, and it looked quiet enough when we first entered, but got crowded fast. I didn't know, but there was a some form of line after you place your order. It's pretty loud in there, so even if they call your number, you may not here it. The green tea was quite good and I enjoyed the boba very much.

Brandon V.

Yelp
This place has amazing bubble tea!! 10/10 would come anytime any day!! I come here all the time after classes, or with friends, or after a good cry. The tea is so good I wouldn't ever go to any other boba place!!

Ashley F.

Yelp
Best matcha milk tea I've had in a while. The Oreo was good too but the jelly balls at the bottom was a little weird for me.

Cindy M.

Yelp
I am visiting Boston for Labor Day weekend and this is my first time here. There was a line but it went by quickly. There were step by step instructions that were very helpful! My drink was delicious!

Mike T.

Yelp
I am from New Orleans and our bubble tea scene isn't so big, however I do love Kung Fu Tea House. I have family members in Boston so they take us out to eat Bonchon and after we go to Kung Fu. Kung Fu tea does not use any powder, they brew their own tea and add milk in there. Their teas are really fresh and refreshing. I just need to learn not to chug it or I may need a large. LOL. My favorite tea, is Winter Melon Green Tea with herbal jelly. The milk version is always good!!

Betty L.

Yelp
I really like the taro milk tea with pudding from here and they are very generous with the pudding portions which is great! The taro milk tea is delicious and doesn't have any artificial taste to it. The taro flavor really comes through with a good blend of the milk tea. The only reason why this place doesn't get 5 stars is because the service is not great. I don't expect much from younger servers but they make me feel like I'm bothering them. Would it kill them to smile and be friendly for 2 minutes to take my order? The nice thing is that they don't bother any of the customers who want to sit at the tables to chat or work.

Sandy T.

Yelp
After hearing about all the hype from my friends I finally decided to try this place out. I came in with very high expectations with the way my friends were talking about it however it turned out to not be that great, in my opinion. The bubble tea here is meh. I had the green tea with less sugar (which was still a lot of sugar) and it left this weird after taste on my tongue that you get from drinking milk some times. I don't really see what all the hype is about. The place seemed nice, the staff were ok, and the prices are decent but other than that it wasn't really that great, I could get much better bubble tea at other places.

Went there on a Thursday night, right before they closed. Not a lot of people. Usually there's a line. They have a lot of options and they also have some new drinks available. You can customize your drinks, toppings, sugar level.. etc. They have a parking lot behind them, it's a public lot, so it could get hectic there. Otherwise there are some street spots too. I got a hot honey milk tea, no topping, it was surprisingly good. I don't know if this is a new drink because I don't remember seeing it there before. It was $4
