We ordered online and arrived the shop at 2pm, but staff went for lunch break. As a result, we had to wait for 40 minutes. The staff’s attitude was also really bad and annoying, and she didn’t even pretend to care about the lateness and never apologized. I think it is totally fine to have lunch break, but if you do so, you should definitely notify online instead of letting customers wait so long. People should go to Machi Machi instead, the service and drinks there are just so much better.

Google
Came for the boba tea and they messed up my order twice. They tried to fix it once but I gave up after that.

Google
Whoever was on shift as the cashier at 20:10 on May 18th 2024, Saturday evening, had a awful attitude. Not willing to introduce the products and we ended up buying nothing.

Arjun Roy

Google
Servers are mildly rude and show some attitude, but their tea was good.

Selina Wang

Google
Everytime I’ve been to this Kung Fu Tea, I’ve always had my order done incorrectly. Even when I ask for them to fix it, they don’t give me the right drink. Every single time I ask for no bubbles and add aloe, and I always get bubbles and then they rip the lid open and top it off with aloe and then seal it with a new lid. This is truly one of the worst locations in terms of customer service. It’s better to just go up to Harvard Ave at that point, since they’d actually replace the drink. It’s embarrassing that this specific location just doesn’t care about their customer base.

Google
Literally the worst customer service, we were standing their patiently waiting for our turn as the worker makes drinks and as soon as it’s our turn, the only greeting he gave us was “so are you gonna order” with so much attitude. Disgusting behavior

Google
Great location with amazing staff and great food and drinks. Quick service and a wide variety to choose from. Staff are friendly. Bubble tea is delicious and a nice piece of fried chicken or a chicken sandwich to go with the meal is amazing. It is located inside the 88 supermarket. There is free parking right outside the market.

Google
I ordered 2 cups of milk tea and a fries online. They didn’t have the fries, instead of calling me they raised the prices of the milk teas to make up for the original total price!! I don’t care about a fries but you should be honest to your customers and care about business integrity.

Yelp
As basic as it is, kung fu tea is always a comfort boba place for me. I love the variety of options at the place and it's so easy to order/digest when you want a simple light dessert! The workers here are efficient and friendly. The place is located at the food court so we just got the drink right after getting food at the food court! There are a lot of tables and chairs to chill at, with AC to stay cool during the summer heat.

Jiaxuan X.

Yelp
love the boba here. The Thai milk tea brings me back to my fav restaurant. The price is affordable and would buy again

Gennie L.

Yelp
I loveee Kung fu tea! I usually order the classic milk tea with boba. Medium is about $6 to $6.50 and large is about $7. I think their drinks are pretty sweet so I usually order 30% sugar. The service was decently quick and the baristas were really nice. This Kung fu tea is located in super 88 (food court) with plenty of space to sit and eat. It's slightly west of Boston University and accessible by the green line. There's also a parking lot for customers who shop at 88, and it's quite big! I've never had trouble finding a parking spot.

Yelp
Taro milk tea and lychee bubbles -- a dynamic duo of sugary wonder. I hadn't had bubble tea in so long and the menu admittedly looks like the length of a dictionary but I picked one of the classics (taro milk tea) and it didn't disappoint.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came to pick up our drinks that we got with our meals from the near by C.C.K restaurant in the same plaza. The workers were occupied with completing orders placed at the same restaurant or online, I'm assuming, as neither of them were at the register. We both got the passion fruit green tea which was good. My boyfriend ordered his with boba which he didn't mind but I found slightly too firm. Will come again.

Yelp
Solid KFT chain, however the few times I've visited so far has been pretty backed up because they were short staffed. This location probably has gotten busier because it is connected to the TKK around the corner. Recommend ordering ahead on their app. Also, can earn points that can go towards a free drink!

Anna M.

Yelp
I am particular about what I get from KFT because some of their drinks are too milky for me. I got the special pumpkin spice oolong latte and it was delicious! Its quite sweet, which is what I like. It's not too cinnamonny which is usually an issue when it comes to pumpkin spice flavors. I got it in the hot form because it was chilly out. I would definitely get it again!

Qiongqiong M.

Yelp
This place was open during quarantine time!!! You can order drinks via Kung fu tea app!!! Boba was free thru May 31st. Definitely will come back again!

Christine B.

Yelp
Just your average KFT joint with the same standard selection of drinks, reasonable wait time, and high frequency of customers. Ordered my usual Taro Green Tea Milk Tea and it tasted just the way I like it so nothing to complain about :-) However, I must say that I like this location compared to the nearby KFT because of its ample seating. Since this KFT is located in Super 88(a food court with many Asian food options) you are almost guaranteed to find a table to sit at and you can stay as long as you wish since it is an open space (which is nearly impossible in the other KFTs!). You can also order food from the various vendors in the food court to accompany your drink...which is awesome since you can literally go to one place and satisfy all your Asian food/drink cravings!! Will definitely be back.

Scott P.

Yelp
What was supposed to be a quick 15-minute order through a phone app ridiculously turned into a 30-minute tedious wait. The staff prioritized fulfilling in-person orders over the phone app order. Also, one of my drinks was improperly sealed by the vacuum sealer and left a horrible gap, which caused an unacceptable leak. I'm completely dissatisfied with the customer service and will never order from here again.

Yaran S.

Yelp
I can see why this place doesn't have 4+ like most Kung fu tea have. First of all, they took my order wrong. I had to ask if I'm getting what I asked for, not what it says on the receipt. When I was waiting for my order, the young staff was playing with the other staff while making my tea. They were having a good time but did not take their job seriously. When my order finally came, I realized that they made my order wrong again...... There is another KFT very close to this one so not hard to avoid this place :/

Becca P.

Yelp
I got the large lychee black tea with boba and my bf got the coffee medium with espresso shot but they didn't have the shot so he just opted for the coffee. I got the lychee black tea and my first sip was all mushy lychee and sugar. I don't think my drink was shaken at all. It was disappointing because I had already left 88 so I had to cover the hole I made with the straw and shake it. After it tasted okay. I am not a fan of the mushy fruit. The boba was good and soft tbough. My bf's coffee was ALL ice and tasted diluted. He was not happy especially since they didn't have the espresso shot. Service was a little slow for no line as well. I won't be back. This visit left a bad taste in my mouth literally.

Rocky W.

Yelp
This is your pretty standard Kung Fu Tea. They're located inside Super 88's food court. I ordered two drinks through the App and it took over 10 minutes for me to get them. They have tables nearby to sit and wait. There was only one guy working and he was clearly overwhelmed. The boba was okay, but not as soft as I like it.

Lemuel L.

Yelp
Super 88's food court has gone through major renovations and some of the food stalls shut down, others were opened, and prices were raised as a result of what I assume is increased rent. So when I heard that Lollicup was closing and that KFT would be taking over its space, I wasn't really surprised. I went to the opening night and there was buy one get one promo for several drinks. Line was pretty insane, but that's to be expected. They also had problems with their card reader, so cash was preferred unless you wanted to stand there as they manually input the numbers of your credit card onto the machine. I went back this weekend and it was a pretty standard experience; no more than a 5 minute wait and another 5 minute wait for my order. I always get a taro slush with half sugar or a taro milk tea with half sugar, less ice. I haven't tried the other toppings since I always get standard boba. This is one of four locations of KFT that I have been to, the others located in Cleveland Circle, along Harvard Ave, and near BSO. All of them are pretty similar, just a matter of knowing when the crowds will show up. Will go here again.

Yelp
I got this hot matcha with bubbles and herbal jelly. And I LOVE IT! So nice for this kind of weather staff is also very nice and friendly!

Alyssa Y.

Yelp
Kung Fu Tea at the food court location never disappoints! Best solid choice for boba. Came here with a friend and got the WOW milk with red bean and boba. Was very good and just what I was looking for!

Phuong V.

Yelp
Affordable price. Download the Kung Fu Tea app for frequent promotions. Conveniently located within TKK chicken so can get snacks/meals when ordering drinks as well.

Christine S.

Yelp
TL;DR aggressively mediocre Mediocre taste, mediocre pricing, mediocre tea This is definitely not authentic boba, but if you're looking to get boba in places other than Chinatown, it's hard to find good, authentic boba in Boston. Kung Fu tea is just very very mediocre. It's a bit too sweet for my personal taste. This place will satisfy your boba cravings but not leave you completely content.

Ritu T.

Yelp
they always give me extra ice.... and always more ice than the drink itself. why why why!! even when i mention less ice everytime. first the drink wasnt even filled all the way up, why are you charging an extra dollar if youre not gonna fill up the drink please understand this comment is coming after being disappointed several times and not just once.

Maryam S.

Yelp
The guy who rang me up was very nice. My go to is the tarp milk tea, minimal ice. It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly.

Kevin Y.

Yelp
Kung Fu Tea serves consistently good bubble tea. The winter melon tea could have used just a touch more winter melon flavor, but was otherwise good. Even though I came right before closing, the boba were consistently warm and chewy, with no hard or mushy spots. I asked for less sweet, and even so the honey syrup they put on the boba is very aggressively sweet, as other people have mentioned. The matcha sesame milk was a great combination of creamy from the milk and complementary roasted flavors from the sesame seeds and matcha powder. Very refreshing, and not too sweet even without any adjustments. If you've ever been to Blackball, this tastes like biting into their matcha and sesame mini rice balls together.

Yelp U.

Yelp
Milk tea are so good Nice customers service. Enjoy the time here. The menu is keeping upgrades. Keep your eyes on it will find out all the seasonal products release.

Ashley N.

Yelp
They've put in lots of COVID measures at this location! even still, it's a very convenient location located inside the food court of Super 88. Would definitely recommend coming here for bubble tea.

William G.

Yelp
Mango slush with mango popping boba. Whenever I'm at super 88 I usually come to this Kung fu location. It is the same as all other boba places and I consider it pretty standard

Annabelle X.

Yelp
too sweet + not authentic + tea taste not strong enough THIS IS FAKE AMERICANIZED BUBBLE TEA EVERYTHING TASTES HORRIBLE also they serve the bubble tea boiling hot when you ask for a hot drink.

Danya Z.

Yelp
Pretty good boba. There's nothing special about this place but their boba is well made, sweet and chewy.

Jora Y.

Yelp
Almond milk tea with bubbles. OMG. Taste exactly like a Chinese medicine named CHUANBEI PIPALU. Cures my homesick in one sec:)

Kay Z.

Yelp
Great boba and great location for convenience. Would come again any time any day for the boava

Peter P.

Yelp
New addition to the food court!! Makes it super convenient to grab a drink with your food. Ordered the lychee punch and strawberry lemon green tea. Both were perfect for a hot day!

Adelbert Z.

Yelp
I went there for the opening buy 1 get 1 free deal. The line was very long at 2pm on a Sunday. I waited for 30 minutes to place my order. When I was about to pay, the lady rejected my credit card and told me it is "cash only." I then saw the next customer paid by her credit card. I asked her why I couldn't pay by a credit card but the next customer could, she gave me this embarrassed look and ignored me. Basically, she lied straight to my face. I don't think this is a right way to start a business. I would not recommend people go to a dishonest store even though their tea is ok.

Edward C.

Yelp
Nice location outside the 88 market, 很方便!also since TKK closed it's a good alternative.

Margot T.

Yelp
The man who took my order was very nice and helpful!! super convenient and good quality.

兔

Yelp
good service!reallly nice. I really like bubble tea here There is a high quality service and help me solve the problem.

Kathleen Y.

Yelp
Ordered yogurt green tea 30% sweet no ice with jelly. Tasted fine, but apparently yogurt drinks are made from powder??? I was always under the impression they were made from other yogurt drinks but apparently this time my drink wasn't blended enough that you could see particulates and the powder actually settled to the bottom. Made my mouth kind of dry, but the taste was fine.

王

Yelp
I like their mango snow and cocoa Cream Wow with milk cap, best boba tea. But food court light are so dark I'm so scared.

Helen T.

Yelp
My boyfriend is a bubble tea fan and since this was located right across the street, we frequent this place a lot. They have quite a lot of small deals if you stay committed. Mainly inconsistent taste, and whenever we ask the cashiers a question, the answer is "Don't know." They would also incorrectly charge us most of the time when there was happy hour. Most of the time I get Matcha Milk, the powder is not dissolved. Some drinks were poorly made so we started to remember the faces that made good/bad drinks. A super big thank you and shoutout to the lady with short hair and cross earrings who started working a few months ago and is now mainly working at Poke Boys. You always made the best drinks and we would always be on the lookout for you on days that we went to 88 Supermarket.

Chanisara J.

Yelp
The fat guy doesn't know how to service. He wanted me to wait outside even if my order was ready in front of him. I don't know what's the point. He said that order was from Chowbus It's not your order then I told him I ordered from Chowbus.

Jiayu W.

Yelp
I like their wow milk and 6pc dark meat chicken but chicken is pick up at tkk i need to go around in the mall.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Kung Fu tea? More like F.U. Tea. Stopped by the food court for a quick lunch before the game and my girls 8 and 9 yrs old wanted some bubble tea. Wasn't a big line so we place our order then, heard this place was playing loud music. When listen carefully, all F-bombs. F.. this F.. that., the N words was out. I want to say. F.U. Kung Fu Tea. This is not your car or house, you're in a food court and it's definitely not appropriate to play such music with or without children around.

Isa E.

Yelp
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a milk honey green tea, but they gave me a honey green tea without milk. When I asked for them politely to change it, the lady who worked there refused with an attitude. Drink I got was so bad, I practically paid 5 dollars to throw a drink in the trash.

Elaine T.

Yelp
Try your drink before you leave. 2 of my last ~10 KF tea drinks were wrong, and last time I waited until I got home. I ordered a 0% sugar drink and received one that was at least 50% if not 100% sugar. They did fix it and give me a new one, but wasted too much of my time. Not worth it if you're in a rush.

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
Same great flavors as the Harvard Ave location but you don't have to be crammed with a long line. Disregard the negative one off reviews. If you've been to any of their stores you know how good it is so the only difference here is convenience and location. This food court and market are really taking a step in the right direction.

Jek L.

Yelp
Always getting orders wrong. Inconsistent quality. Many employees have trouble understanding orders.

Ray Z.

Yelp
Absolute worst service ever had. I will never come here again and recommend others not to. Never said Hi, and those kids and dancing to some terrible mumble rap music. They joked around and didn't care people were waiting. They just put the drink on the table and not calling out numbers. How the heck do I know which one is mine? If I could give 0 star I would.

Yibin C.

Yelp
We went for the BOGO deal. The lady told us it's cash only. Then she charged the next customer with credit card by manually keying in. We were shocked how she lied straight in front of our face and did not accept our credit card.

Lateisha F.

Yelp
Amazing food, great drinks and the staff s awesome! This a good place for a girls night out or staff conferences. The best Japanese food around!!

Stacy Z.

Yelp
My least favorite Kung Fu Tea location. The guys working there were all curt and they got my order wrong and I got charged for a topping I specifically said no to (I've never had that happen in any of the other locations, there's also no language confusion because I speak Cantonese and Mandarin). They also didn't call out any of the orders and looked annoyed when I went up to check to check if something was mine. I'd rather walk a few blocks and go to the one at Harvard Ave.

Ann O.

Yelp
The staff are very nice, the tea is really fresh. I like it , and there's a lot of seat. And lots food to eat, it become my habits to go there every day to buy a bubble tea. The order come out very fast. Recommended! Check it out.

Jedpreeya T.

Yelp
I went in the store for ordering a drink. Today 07/07/2020 There were a lady and a gentleman working. I said "Hi" so i could order. There was no answer from both of them. Wasn't sure if they ignored me or didn't hear me. So i said "Hi" again. The lady just yelled at me "just a second". Obviously, i got my answer, they both just ignored me. So when she came back. She asked me "what?". Was that a good question to ask the customer? I ordered my drink and there was no thank you. I was standing there and waiting for my drink. When my drink was ready, she just put it on the table and didn't say anything. So the drink looked like mine so i just grabbed it and came out. If you guys have own personal problems and do not have the mood to work. Please stay home. Dont come to work with bad attitudes.During covid-19 many people out there need works. Please consider about having someone else who is more friendly and be able to give a better service. I heard that Chinese people always have no manners and being rude. Wasn't sure if it was true. But now I kindda got my answer already. Thanks for the answer "kungfu tea crew" They are even rude with customers who bring them money. (: most of reviews are about service. Including another locations. Ps. I got green milk tea with boba this time. Good as always. But unlucky that you guys have wrong employees who will throw away some of customers. Hope you guys stay safe and doing good in business.
