So today, I went out just wanting to be out. No real intention of going anywhere, but I got my computer with me and i'm rollin around Rainbow with a scooter. Great day!
My first stop was actually a block over at 85 degree.. yeah come here to Kung Fu Tea instead =X
This is my first time going to a Kung Fu Tea in Las Vegas. I've been to a bunch of them back in New Jersey and New York, but they were all standard bubble tea places.
This place is a little unique.. Alright, where to begin...
They could probably use a handicap ramp closer to the front, but that's really on the people who built this plaza. There's one to the side of the nail salon next door, so not that bad. Would be hard to find for someone visiting for the first time.
Service is quite ideal here. Not high energy, but the person working here was very polite and attentive. I've also already been here for like an hour, and she hasn't given me a hard time like at all.
The location is really cool! Tough to describe in a quick sentence, so I took a little video.
Like I mentioned earlier, I have only ever been to the standard bubble tea Kung Fu Tea locations. This one has instant ramen! Bubble tea, my macbook and a bowl of instant ramen? If that's not a whole package vibe, I don't know what is.
Really, its the ambiance. Once you walk in, first thing you see are 4 picnick table situations. Each table can sit like i think 6? But i'm sure strangers sit next to each other all the time here, and it wouldn't feel weird at all.
If i had to guess, people probably come here to hang out and play card games. Not gambling, but like card dual things. I'm not too familiar with that culture, but I've seen it in other places. Looks fun, and this place looks ideal for it.
They even have a big jinga thing! Really though, it's not that loud here at this hour, and I'm too shy to even touch those blocks when its this quiet =X
I ordered a Winter Melon Tea with no toppings. It's good enough here to be enough of a reason for me to come back.
I do see myself coming here or to places like this more regularly. I'm glad it's close to home.
