I have been visiting this guy for more than 3 years now, and it has always been great. I had the KH Honey Tea today with boba and strawberry popping perfectly smooth, lightly sweet, and super refreshing. The service was great too, friendly and quick. Such a good combo!” 🧋✨

Stopped here while out walking around the battery. One of us in my group was breast feeding and could not drink alcohol. She chose to have Bubble tea. She said that she loves the tea here and is a regular. I went in with her while she ordered so that I could purchase it for her, as I had purchased the other's drinks, as well. The employee that made and served my friend her drink seemed very knowledgeable and was also extremely polite! If that is the usual reception, I can see why my friend returns here often!

The gentleman working today obviously did not want to be there. We have had boba tea before but we had never been here. He was so rude to my husband and not very pleasant with me. I ordered a winter melon milk tea and I am pretty sure I just get water and 1/2 cup of brown sugar syrup, no milk The boba was not even close to fresh and was pretty hard and rubbery. There was another young lady behind us that was asking about her order because it seemed off. The guy working snatched her cup from her hand! Idk what all else he said but I felt bad for the young lady. Would not recommend and will not be going again.

Google
Kung Fu Tea is the epitome of bubble tea. They have many flavors from milk teas to coffees but my addiction is the Oreo Wow with the milk cap. If you never had it, you gotta try it. The girls here are quick and have great customer service. I come here almost every day inside Ph'East. If you're looking on Google maps, you're going to see Ph'East. If you enter on the side close to Lush Nails turn to the left and it's right there. Check it out

When I first moved to Georgia, coming from California, I had a biased mindset that there wasn't much good Asian food places. Slowly as I explored I found more and more places that proved me wrong. I've never been to the Battery in Atlanta and I'm glad I had a chance to experience this place. I ordered ramen from one of the restaurants here while my fiance ordered Tom yum soup from the Thai restaurant here. I loved my order. I feel that what often makes good ramen is good broth and good noodles and this place had them both on point. However the meat and topping were a little lackluster. My tonkatsu dissolved in my broth and I had to fish them out with my spoon. My wife stated while she enjoyed her Tom Yum soup....portion wise it wasn't worth the price. We had to order calamari on the side to fill her appetite and that was also pricy. I did enjoy the fries and sushi burritos. But again for the price vs portion you aren't getting enough to fill you up. It's almost as if the portions they serve is to encourage you to buy other servings from other restaurants nearby. And each item from each shop averages around $15 so take that with a grain of salt. So positives, great food and great options. Negatives are price and portion size. And my ramen in particular had dissolved meat pieces. For that only 4 stars. In regards to portion I could say I'm biased because I'm a heavy 240 lb man. But my fiance is a 115 lb woman who gets full easy and she was the one who made the comment first so that's saying something.

Google
always exceptional service here even when it gets busy. their punches as well as their milk teas are all good and they use real fruit inside. i love the milk cap drinks too! they have a matcha milk cap thats my fav. a must go in the battery!

Helen C.

Google
Ordered a milk cap - instead of floating on top it’s already premixed and sinks to the bottom so the entire drinks just tastes like milk cap. Asked to remake and cashier stated that’s how it should be. Have been getting boba from KFT for 10 years (including this location) and it’s never happened. Also I am Taiwanese myself I have never seen milk cap sinking on the bottom

Google
I live the boba it was busy on Friday with the size of the crowd but boba was on point! Trying it out in the Battery but parking may be difficult depending on when you go. Enjoy!

Yelp
I like the drink selections and the fact that they have a rewards program. However, I really wish they didn't charge extra for the first topping. At Sweet Hut, you can select multiple toppings for free. Other than that, the bubble tea drinks here are pretty good.

Yelp
Super cool boba tea place in the Ph'east Asian Food Hall. They have so many options for teas, milk teas and slushies with lots of topping options and boba and other add ins. Fast and friendly service Especially good because they have yogurt green tea. Super friendly and helpful staff. We always make a point to come here when we are in the area

Yelp
This is a pretty solid chain boba tea place. It's easy to get to at the Battery, especially if you can snag a parking space almost right in front of the Ph'East food hall. I've only had the strawberry milk tea with mango bubbles. It was nice and refreshing. It also has actual pieces of strawberry in it (it might be rehydrated strawberries but taste great all the same). I'll expand my taste buds and get something else next time I'm here.

Yelp
This Kung Fu Tea location is like most of the others I've been to: Good. This Kung Fu Tea is located inside Ph'east, the Asian food hall at The Battery Atlanta: https://www.yelp.com/biz/pheast-a-far-east-street-feast-atlanta. Kung Fu Tea and Ph'east opened concurrently on February 1, 2020: https://www.instagram.com/p/B7_v9H2piIG/?hl=en. My wife and I had the Taro Milk Green Tea (large, $5.85) with bubbles (+$0.65) and a hot Winter Melon Tea Cap (large size only, $6.30). Both were delicious and hit the spot. The quality of both the tea and the bubbles (tapioca pearls) was good and pretty much on par with what I've come to expect over the years at Kung Fu Tea's Doraville location on Buford Highway (the best Kung Fu Tea location in metro Atlanta, in my opinion). I think it's great that The Battery has some solid bubble tea. This was my first time getting a Milk Cap drink hot. I'm not sure I'd do it again unless it was really cold outside or something. The drink was very hot and it maintained its scalding temperature for quite a while. Kung Fu Tea's "Milk Cap" series is the same as what other bubble tea shops might describe as "cream cheese foam," etc. It's a thick, kind of salty, cream layer on top of the drink. I like it. The hot version I had here was more subtle than the versions I've typically gotten on iced drinks, simply because it melted into my hot Winter Melon Tea. Decent flavor all around. Our friends got an Oolong Milk Tea (medium, $4.85) with bubbles (+$0.65) and a hot Oolong Milk Tea (large size only, $5.65). While this Kung Fu Tea is just a small stall inside Ph'east, about 70 different drinks and 12 different toppings were packed onto the menu during our visit. I thought service was great. There were only two workers and despite a busy after-dinner crowd, they kept the line moving. The four of us didn't have to wait long for our orders. The staff was polite and efficient. Parking at The Battery is free for the first 3 hours on non-event/Braves game days and the first 2 hours on event/Braves game days. For Kung Fu Tea, I recommend parking in the Purple Deck. Kung Fu Tea and Ph'east are in the same building as the Purple Deck. The Red Deck across the street works well too. "Battery Purple Deck" and "Battery Red Deck" should pop up in your navigation app (Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps).

Daisy T.

Yelp
No longer makes slushies and it's like 90 degrees outside. Missed opportunity for sure and the excuse is that it was busy but I turned around and there was no one ordering. Very sad because I normally come here.
google avatar

Yelp
Kung Fu bubble tea is a solid, dependable bubble tea chain. The folks here work pretty efficiently - the time between placing our order and getting it in our hands was no more than a minute or two. I generally order the taro bubble tea, which is delicious but I would highly recommend taking advantage of the less sugar options. The drink sweetness is measured by percentage here, and we're usually more than happy with our drinks being 50% sweet. Just make sure you take a moment to fully shake up your drink before inserting your straw - most of the drinks' sweetness comes from the bubble syrup. There are a number of drinks that have lactose-free options, though I wish there were other alternative milks available for the other bubble teas on the menu. Finally, there's a small selection of Asian snacks available (slightly overpriced), and plenty of accompanying food options around the same food hall.

Yelp
We came here for some milk tea with boba, and it was ok. Kung Fu Tea is located in Ph-East - A Far East Street Feast food court at The Battery. Although there were a lot of customers sitting at the long tables, eating and drinking before an Atlanta Braves baseball game at home, there was still room at the tables both in the indoor dining area and the outdoor patio for many more customers. A band (live entertainment) was taking a short break. We each ordered a large Kung Fu Milk Tea from their Classic collection of drinks. I ordered mine with boba, less ice and 30% sugar. R ordered his with less boba and less ice. It didn't take the employees long to prepare and provide us our drinks. I thought my drink was just ok. I had requested that the sugar level be at 30%, but I had neither anticipated nor expected that the regular boba was going to be so sweet, certainly a lot sweeter than I prefer. Kung Fu Tea has many varieties of drinks, such as teas, slushes, punches, yogurts, milk caps and others. Drink sizes come in medium and large, and, if the drink is available as a hot drink, the price of the hot drink is the same as a large drink.

Yelp
Going to Kung Fu Tea is always a pleasure. They have great service & I love how it's inside a cute little food court area of the Battery! I tried Honey Oolong Milk Tea this time & it tasted exactlyyy like honey! It was a tad bit sweet but nothing I couldn't handle!! I also love how it is open later than most boba places!! It was a great late night snack

Yelp
Milk tea is the perfect treat! I usually get a milk tea with boba, but today i wanted to try a matcha milk tea -- and I'm glad I did! I've had matcha soft serve with Oreos before and was thrilled to try Kung Fu Tea's matcha milk tea with Oreos. It was TOO GOOD! It's now my go-to drink! IG: @tonguetiedfoodie

Yelp
First time having Kungfu Tea and I thought it was delicious. I got the Taro Milk Tea and it was a bit sweet but still enjoyable. This location is located inside a "booth" inside of Ph'East at the battery. So if you're looking for this, look for Ph'East. It had a cute Asian street style to it where they had other Asian themed booths in that building. It's a bit loud in there but nothing major. The girl that got us our drinks was really nice and helpful. Can't wait to get a treat from here again!
google avatar

Yelp
I've visited so many Kung Fu Tea locations and thought this one was super quaint and cute. Located at the Battery inside PH'EAST, this location is almost like a little food stand you'd see in a market hall. The cashier was friendly and service was quick. I always aim for a classic milk tea. Definitely give Kung Fu Tea a try if you've never been before!
google avatar

Indy O.

Yelp
This is located inside of PH'EAST. The boba here was amazing! I had the coffee boba so good! So many different options to choose from.
google avatar

Taylor C.

Yelp
Stopped by here after lunch with some friends for some bubble tea! The location is inside of a building that has about 5 other little food stands like sushi burritos, and amen, etc. It was my first time trying Kung Fu Tea and overall it was good. I got the Taro Milk tea with bubbles. It was very sweet so I recommend getting light sugar if you don't want it to be overwhelming.
google avatar

Shani H.

Yelp
Came here for a hot tea on a cold day while visiting the food hall. I wanted a basic hot tea. The menu was so complicated that I had difficulty finding what to order. I asked the cashier and ended up with the Winter Melon tea. However, when I received it, the team was sweetened. I barely drank it because I don't like sweet drinks. I'm typically fine with the natural flavors and water. I would have liked if the tea wasnt brewed with sweetener in it. They seem to offer other types of tea like bubble tea so it may be a nice spot but I wont be back.
google avatar

Christina A.

Yelp
What a cute tea spot! Located inside Ph'east (inside the Battery). It's an easy-peezy, grab and go tea spot and there's ton of seating available inside and outside of the the food hall. We went on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't too busy. No wait for service and our tea came out quickly. Definitely try the Thai Milk Tea - so good!
google avatar

Dulcea F.

Yelp
Taste and amazing love and will visit again!! They are super nice and very friendly I got the miraculous ladybug and it was good!!
google avatar

Yelp
Kung Fu Tea seem to be hidden away in cities I visit every now and then - I last had my first KF Tea in Chicago last year. I like that they now have an app and folks can order ahead for curbside. Be aware that this is part of Ph'east if you're trying to stay away from crowds... likely isn't your best location to grab tea atm. Highly recommend the "milk top" add-on if you love foam on your espressos like me!! Totally worth it.
google avatar

Mira D.

Yelp
love kung fu tea!! it's your classic boba spot with a huge menu with a lot of variety in drinks. during my first two years at georgia tech, my friends and i would walk (or even uber) to the KFT on GSU campus since it definitely is way better than the boba places in midtown ATL. since then, the GSU location has closed down so i was very happy to discover a KFT at the battery. LOCATION this KFT shop is located within a really cute modernized asian food court--lots of different restaurant stands with really good quality food. i've heard the food court tends to get busy on the weekends, so the wait times at KFT may be a bit longer than other locations. DRINK ORDER large oolong milk tea with boba, less ice, 30% sweet i love the milk teas here. they're always very creamy. the oolong milk tea has a good tea taste, and the honey oolong milk tea is even better in my opinion! medium drinks are kind of small so i usually just treat myself and upgrade to a large. drinks are fairly sweet so i usually get 30% or 50% sweet--i can't imagine what 100% sweet tastes like. the time i came here the drink was a bit more watered down than what i've had at other locations which is a bit disappointing, but other than that it's a good boba spot within the food court if you're craving asian food!

Gideon Adu-Yeboah Y.

Yelp
I ordered the Cocoa Cream original wow it tasted like plain milk and Oreo crumbles. I don't think the baristas know how to make drinks here very bad .
google avatar

Russell A.

Yelp
Before it was a journey to try to get boba on the smyrna / cobb area. More so at the Battery at the old SunTrust Park, now known as Truist Park. This is conveniently located in a new Asian food court called Ph'east! Nice play on words! So while watching the baseball games at the stadium I'm sure this will be popping once it gets hotter or if you simply want a refreshingly sweet delight after your meal. Staff is friendly and could offer you suggestions depending on your taste. Be sure you stop by next door in the same food court and get you a spam sushi over at snackbox bistro!
google avatar

Howraa A.

Yelp
Hard bobas! God, the disappointment was so real. Too sweet and not enough ice. It was a bad experience all together especially after just experiencing greatness at Kung fu tea in Princeton, NJ. For sure will not come back.
google avatar

Kei M.

Yelp
Always great. Always taro green tea with boba for me and I always drink it in like 15mins or less then want more immediately after. I recommend as the best tea spot in Atlanta.

Mathew W.

Yelp
Best in the city! Great service! Convenient during Braves games and lunch breaks. I am a loyal customer and always will be! Employees are so nice!

Keokaisone S.

Yelp
One of the best boba drinks around that area! My personal favorite is the mango green tea with mango jelly! Super refreshing, and they are always so quick and efficient! Download the app, because every now and then they'll give you great incentive just for purchasing from King fu tea!

Dominique S.

Yelp
The boba was fresh and delicious The actual place was very cute and the cashier was very insightful and kind
google avatar

Nisha B.

Yelp
I ordered a milk tea here and found that it was mostly milk, and barely any tea. I noticed the color was off when I got the drink as it was very light in color as if it were almost all milk
google avatar

Aditi D.

Yelp
I asked for jelly instead of lychee pieces as I have a gag reflex and they ended up giving me both (failing to mention that the drink I order comes with the lychee even if I get the jelly). Once I tried my drink I felt my gag reflex coming on so I asked if they could give it to me without the jelly or exchange it (as I had only asked for a drink with jelly) and they said they don't offer returns or refunds. All of this would have been tolerable if they had been willing to help- I don't care about the price of the drink but it was just poor customer service!

Yelp
Kung Fu Tea is one of my fave boba chains. It's always been consistent. I was excited when Ph'east announced that they will be opening and Kung Fu Tea would be one of the vendors. Every Kung Fu Tea that I've gone to was legit and at least 4 stars. At Ph'east at The Battery location, I've already visited Kung Fu Tea twice already. Once during soft opening. Another time today. Both times, I've been disappointed. The first time is the taste of the drink. I got strawberry lemonade punch. Seems like their ratio was off. It was sweet on top and then bitter towards the bottom even when I shook the cup. My coworker got no sugar since he's a diabetic. He said they gave him weird looks. He's always done that every boba place he's gone too and felt what they mixed wasn't satisfying Second time was just carelessness. I don't get boba in my milk tea. I ordered taro milk tea with NO boba but I got boba. A lot of it. They advised that they will make me another one without boba. I gave that extra one with the boba to another coworker who didn't get any drinks at Kung Fu Tea. On top that, my coworker got mango boba with hers and said that it didn't taste like it. She was right. They accidentally gave her regular boba. They refunded what she paid. I'm thinking maybe they are still working around the quirks. I'm not going to order anymore even though I will be visiting Ph'east several more times this week. 5/2020

Robert C.

Yelp
I was charged extra for asking for no ice. If anything, removing a content from the drink should reduce the price, not add to it.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Part of the newly opened Asian food hall at the Battery. I've been to all Kung Fu Tea locations in ATL. Pretty much the same taste and quality. Friendly staff and quick service. Nice way to finish the meal you had here with other venues.
google avatar

Sharon X.

Yelp
I wanted to try something different than my usual yogurt drink or taro milk tea. The new owner Kyerence was wonderful. She was kind and super patient while I was being indecisive. I ordered one of her favorite drinks, the Oreo Wow Milk. I got my order quickly and it was really good. It was a much needed treat on such a rainy night. She also gave me suggestions about what to try from the other restaurants in Ph'East.
google avatar

Crystal G.

Yelp
I grabbed a oolong milk tea after ramen at Lifting Noodle (left a review for them too), in schmedium size (medium is their smallest size but it was definitely a small) that cost $18. I added classic boba and aloe Vera jelly, which took up half the cup with NO ice, so I'd hate to have ordered it with ice and had a total of three sips total before you're stuck with the boba at the bottom with no tea. It was ok, the classic boba was good. Some places let you choose sweetness level or things like that, I didn't see that option here and mine wasn't very sweet or good at all. However, the ladies in the front were sweet, service was nice, and the ambiance was pretty cool with live music and an accessible bar and space to hangout with a group of friends. At least when I'd gone at 9p on a Tuesday :P
google avatar

Mads B.

Yelp
Yes!! This was the only good thing I had at Pheast. I ordered a taro milk tea with boba, 50% sweetness and no ice. It was perfect. Perfect sweetness. Great flavor. Friendly service. Highly recommend. Their menu is quite large, and they were giving free samples of a new flavor. Highly recommend.

Brayden F.

Yelp
This is definitely one of the best boba places I ve ever had their winter melon boba is delicious I def recommend
google avatar

Jang C.

Yelp
This Kung Fu Tea is inside the PH'EAST building in Battery Park. Everything looks like the good, old Kung Fu Tea Franchise that you know and love. Kung Fu Tea is a bubble tea shop. They have pretty good ones. They have milk caps, milk teas, regular teas, yakult drinks, and many others. My go-to is their oolong milk tea. It is the standard. Like most modern bubble tea shops, you can customize your sugar level (150-0%), ice level, size of drink, toppings (boba, various jellies, etc), and more. They use the Level Up app, if you have it, to gain loyalty bonuses. I gave most other Kung Fu teas 5 stars. I have no complaints about this one. So it gets 5 stars too.
google avatar

Phoebe T.

Yelp
I've had 2 positive experiences and 1 negative experience so I'm going to average this out to a 3 almost 4 star rating. I'm clearly going to need to drink more bubble tea to make a proper conclusion. The negative conclusion was due to a busy line, the employee who didn't seem to know how to take my order, and then a very subpar drink as a result. My first and latest experiences have been positive, however, so I hope it was just opening day jitters.

Charli S.

Yelp
By far the most disgusting boba I've ever had. It was lukewarm and the boba pearls weren't chewy they were just a mushy slimy mess. Waste of money it was so nasty.
google avatar

Nellie D.

Yelp
Coffee milk tea! Half the sugar! Double boba/tapioca! For sure it's my go to! It's the perfect balance of coffee and tea! Everywhere else gives you a dark coffee that's a little too much with the sugar at the bottom!
google avatar

Reuben R.

Yelp
Best Boba I've had, got the oolong milk tea with Boba. Inside Pheast Asian food hall.
google avatar

Josh C.

Yelp
I like that you can adjust the level of ice and sweetener in your tea. They have lots of different options. The Kung Fu tea is very floral. The Thai tea isn't bad. The boba has a good texture.

Pum P.

Yelp
Omg this is so good and I really appreciated the cashier helping me decide on what to get it was so overwhelming to pick one lol but I'm currently drinking this as I'm walking and I'm loving it !!! Thank u
google avatar

Rhonda J.

Yelp
Lots of variety and options. Service is quick and easy. It's A little awkward to just be standing around the counter waiting for your order. But you won't wait too long. I'm glad that I don't have to drive to Kennesaw anymore for Boba Tea.
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Some friends and I went to see the new Ph'east dining hall at the Battery and stopped by bubble tea corner shop, Kung Fu tea. They offer tea and other drinks from hot or cold to sugar and spice-- and the staff is super nice! Definitely a must-stop if you're craving a refreshing drink; add Boba (the "bubbles") to really enjoy the experience. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
This is such a cool spot! I didn't know what to get but the staff was so friendly and nice and talked me through the entire menu! My new favorite drink is a passion fruit green tea with the mango popping bubbles!! There are also great food options to go with your tea!

Brian S.

Yelp
Went here after dinner right before closing! The service was fantastic. The manager came out and talked to us and made a few recommendations. We throughly enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere! Keep doing what you all are doing. The location is very convenient too and parking was pretty easy too.

Kristen B.

Yelp
I've been to this location before and the service was quite slow. We happened to be in the area and decided to try it again. Apparently they've changed over to new management and they have done MUCH better. The staff was super friendly. I got my drink quickly and it was great!
google avatar

John W.

Yelp
Worst KFT I've been to, the boba was hard and not chewy. The top was not sealed correctly. I always get the same drink with less sugar and it tasted like they didn't put in any sugar at all. 2 thumbs
google avatar

Mitchell B.

Yelp
I have been patiently waiting for the grand opening of this location and I am not afraid to say that it was well worth the wait and I am not disappointed one bit! This Kung Fu tea is in the Ph'east food hall, there was a small line but it went quick! The cashier was courteous and basically no wait for my drink. I ordered a Taro milk tea with some boba and I am satisfied with it.
