Kung Fu Tea is one of my favorite spots for bubble tea. I've only had good experiences. A mistake with a drink was quickly resolved. Establishment is clean & comfortable. Update: I was served by Lauren today. She was personable & a pleasure. I appreciated her customer service skills. They are all good but she just stood out me 🧋

2025 The new Strawberry Matcha Fields with Boba was good. The matcha cap did have a kind of gritty, cheaper taste, but tbh it was on par with what I expect from a chain, and it was still tasty overall. I liked the thickness and creaminess of it. Service is always friendly at this location. I wish the drink came with the promotional Strawberry Shortcake freebies. 2024 Was pleasantly surprised to learn that there’s currently a BOGO free promotion on Mondays throughout the summer. The drink of the day was Sesame Matcha Milk. I wanted to try the Yakult Grapefruit as my free drink, but there was some miscommunication, and I ended up with two Sesame Matcha Milks. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of having the drink remade even though the worker was nice. I’ve never seen a sesame drink served with the sesame seeds in tact. It was a little weird at first but kind of grew on me, as they were fun to chew. My friend, on the other hand, did not like the drink at all and thought the seeds tasted a bit rancid. Both of us agree that this isn’t something we would order again, though.

Google
It's a great place to hang out with friends. I love that they have a big dining area. There are plenty options of tea to chose from. Overall the place has a great vibe

Google
Didn't know what to expect when I went in, but I was pleasantly surprised. Don't know what spices they use in their chicken, but there's a subtle taste to it that is very pleasing and atypical of what is essentially just fried chicken. This location is takeout only, with social distancing neasures in place.

Google
Placed an order for three drinks, one medium, and two large. All three were made as medium. Went back and had them redo the order, but they did not follow the order instructions as far as ice level and sugar level. Extremely disappointed with this location, but it was clear they were young teenagers that were distracted, laughing, and giggling a bit too much.

Google
Kung Fu tea is great stop for your refreshment needs. I really enjoyed strawberry lemonade here. It was just amount of sweet. It was really refreshing. My friends love the Bobba tea here. Many variations for milk teas are served here too. 😋

Google
Made a mistake coming here during their grand opening when the line was long and the wait time is very long as well. I kind of walked in expecting that as well so the first trip was pretty unpleasant Edit: Waited a few weeks after their grand opening to give this place a try again and it was more satisfying (so updated the rating as well). I do like their spicy chicken wings and their curly fries. I do find it a good combo to have Kung Fu Tea along with your chicken wings. It's not a bad place to just enjoy on a weekend to just relax.

Google
Imagine having a machine that can seal drinks, yet still sending unsealed drinks to UberEats, where they can easily be tampered with. Still waiting on my refund. You guys never pick up your phone!

Yelp
I don't think I would recommend Kungfu Tea anymore. I used to love Kungfu Tea, the smell of the tea brings me happiness but now I am straight up sipping on syrup. I order mine Oolong Tea half sugar but it's soooo sweet.

Long X.

Yelp
KF Milk Green Tea looks like red, taste it . This made by black tea. sugar level like 70%. and too much ice.

Dalong L.

Yelp
I order two milk green tea at the store, and it says on the cup,but when I got home I realize it was milk tea instead of green tea
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a large milk tea and more than 60% of it was just ice. I ordered a second one with multiple toppings thinking I would get less ice because of the toppings, but guess what? I still got the same amount of ice but less tea!!! Isn't that ingenious of them? You paid more for the drink but you get less of it! The bubbles didn't taste good and they were all clumpy. They seem to be old. The place was busy on a Friday night and there was only one person working at that time. It's hard to find parking nearby. I gave it a second star only because they do offer a large selection and the place was relatively clean.

Jeffrey Y.

Yelp
Do not order anything hot or they will give u a cup lid that doesnt fit and then use tape to secure it l. Once you try to drink it. The lid pops out.

Yelp
I've been though many different locations of Kung Fu Tea in the area and this one is the most spacious one. The vibe and atmosphere is great but the music is a bit loud for me. Their bathroom is spacious as well, however you need codes to enter in which you can just ask the staff for the codes. Their decoration is cool and up-lift as well, definitely good for hanging out or dating. Now that being said their outer sign shows KFT (Kung Fu Tea)and TKK Fried Chicken sign which are misleading. When I first come to this place two months ago I was here for TKK, then the staff told me they don't sell TKK anymore, I was disappointed because I only had TKK when I was in Asia long time ago and it's kinda like my childhood memory, so I was excited. And you know the more excited you are the more disappointed you will be. Oh well, well well... Anyway the staff most of the time are ok, nonetheless long story short, there was one time I ordered a Oolong milk tea with brown sugar(normally it's black tea and normally you can customize it) I never tried it like that before because I like Oolong milk tea with bubble but sometimes I want the Brown sugar so I thought of the combination, and yea ofc it's going to be extra. Also she was nice and helpful. When she gave me the drink, she said something that give this place another star bump which is "Let me know if it works for you. " I mean wow! Getting service like this is rare. Nonetheless, when I went back again, it's a different staff. I ordered the same thing, he said sorry we don't do that, and when I mentioned I did it last time and he said oh sorry we are out of brown sugar‍ hence I just left without buy anything. Today I got what I wanted. I don't want that staff to ruin the good impression of this place thanks to that another nice cool staff, the decoration, vibe, and space. I want to love this place. So in conclusion the staffs mostly are ok, sometime you get that inconsistency of good and bad. Anyhow by far this can be one of the best Kung Fu Tea places among other KFT, It got potential for sure. The most KFT places are pretty small and the second largest space I know of among KFT is the Allston location. As for the drink itself you will just have to go try it yourself. It has plenty of options and you will find your own drink, be advantageous. KFT is a chain popular in this area so it won't be hard to find one and bubble tea lover would probably know the taste.

Yelp
Location - at a convenient spot with a decent amount of street parking. this took over what used to be Papa Ginos so the place itself is pretty big and spacious Boba - up to par with other KFT chains! good substitute for people who wanna get something else aside from the boba shops down the street in NQ TKK chicken - very split about this. I got the 3 piece combo for about $12 and that came with 1 side and a biscuit. The wings were average in both size and taste. The thigh was pretty good tho. Chicken was juicy and the meat slid off the bone very easily. curly fries and biscuit were both average as well. One additional thing I liked was the variety in sauces - lots to choose from! Overall - good place for kft lovers and maybe when the hype dies down, it will be a good place for the chicken as well. As of now, the 40 minute wait for $12 chicken and boba is not quite worth it.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! I've been in many Kung fu cafes and this one is my absolute favorite, I wonder how because it the same business but different location... Anyways! I was there soooo many times and never regretted a single dollar I spent there. I went to get some boba with my friend once and we had sooo much time! My favorite boba is the Taro one. Yum! The place is also really clean and well decorated. It gives me amazing vibes! Employees seem very friendly! I'm obsessed with this place. Definitely visit it ASAP

Yelp
As mentioned in the Donburi Sushi review, this is a triple-shop (think Dunkies and Baskin Robbins or KFC & Pizza Hut) with TKK and Donburi Sushi. However, it is very clear that the main branding is Kung Fu Tea. Having never had Kung Fu Tea, I wasn't expecting much. However, the pineapple tea with bubble was the bees knees. It was delicious, a subtle sweet that wasn't nauseatingly overpowered but was just right. I really enjoyed the seal on the tea, this is brilliant. I enjoyed my drink and would recommend anyone who has not partaken, to stop in and try it. What I'm most fascinated by is the selection, there are an overwhelming amount of options for tea. I would however like to try them all.

Yelp
It's been a month or two since I've been here. I ordered 2 Jujube/Logan drinks with herbal jelly and a 4 piece wings. Somehow I got charged for one so I went abs ordered a second. Upon ordering and paying, a staff member said they ran out. So I asked the cashier if it was 1 or both. He said both. I ordered 2 oolong milk tea w/boba instead. Upon getting the drinks, one had an ok amount of boba but the other was 1/3 less. Quite disappointing. I love boba. I'd anything I usually add twice the amount when I make it myself. But for COVID-pricing ($2 for medium, up charge of $1 for large - I went with large) I ordered instead. On the upside the wings were quite good. Got 6 pieces for $4 (regularly $7.49) thanks to COVID-pricing (limited time-see photo). All for under $12. Not bad.

Yelp
I love this bubble tea chain, and I am soooo happy I live nearby. I specifically like this location because it is pretty big and there is a lot of seating so you can come with a friend and sit at one of the tables or one of the chairs facing the street. I also have yet t be to another bubble tea location that also has fried chicken on the menu so, you can get both here which is a win win for my partner and I. If you come here often enough and are signed up to receive random rewards, you can receive a discount once you reach a certain spending amount. I mainly come for the tea for the reasons below: Tea - I dig it, a lot of choices. My go-to choices here are either the oolong milk tea, the passionfruit green tea, or the strawberry lemonade green tea (the latter actually having pieces of strawberry which adds an awesome tartness). Fried chicken - good, but a little on the saltier side Corn - basic, just grilled, small portion Sweet potato fries - fine Curly fries - goooood Biscuit - tastes like a biscuit

Yelp
The best kft I've been to yet! This Quincy location was huge. Biggest KFT I've seen compared to Chinatown, Malden, Brighton, and Cleveland circle. Not to mention this place was also super clean and well organized. This location also had fried chicken here and it smelt delicious the moment I stepped in. The cashier was quick and efficient. The entire team was already preparing the drinks by the time I was finished ordering. Love the teamwork at this place. Way to go kft Quincy!

Alaa H.

Yelp
Been here many times. The drinks are pretty good and they have a wide variety of options.

Tiff C.

Yelp
Staff (Lauren) is extremely friendly and informative about the new products being offered. Will definitely come back again!
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
Very convenient location with a reasonable amount of street parking! I typically order in advance through the app so that I could grab and go.
google avatar

Jenna S.

Yelp
4 stars because the first time I ordered through UberEats, they forgot to put straws in the bag - we couldn't drink the bubbles correctly. Very disappointing drinking experience but the flavor was still there.

Dat T.

Yelp
This is my first time visting the kung fu tea at Quincy Location. The drinks were super good and service was nice. Love to come back next time.

Victor H.

Yelp
Great customer service, many different kind of choices. Must try if you are at Quincy
google avatar

Shuhan G.

Yelp
I have order a milk tea on UberEat. But it But it tastes bitter, like dishwashing liquid. My tongue feels terrible. But the taro slush in the same order is good though.

Olivia B.

Yelp
Can't believe only two people working on Sunday, such a long wait. Would not come again, can get something similar in gongcha

Tam H.

Yelp
Worst experience, they lie on their promotion drink. Was not mention anywhere it's a medium, second, was ask for no ice but receive alot of ice, third, got cheated on my level of drink. Told the employees but nothing was done. Finally. My most disappointment is the bubble itself, was not made properly. It was so hard like rubber balls. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the Kung Fu tea in Quincy. Does not even deserve a star in my opinion.
google avatar

Salinda W.

Yelp
awful, waited 40 minutes for my mobile order. never got my drink, had to get a refund. seriously worst experience getting boba. dont bother with this location. slow, inefficient service for subpar milkpowder boba.
google avatar

Adnaan J.

Yelp
Stay away! Rude customer service with no regard for their quality and food. Dirty with no hygienic practices. There is another bubble tea place around the corner.
google avatar

Wing L.

Yelp
I really like how you can order through the app and do pick up. I love their strawberry lemonade!! Super yummy and refreshing.

Kailyn F.

Yelp
The honey oolong and honey boba are to die for, I would have it every day if I could!
google avatar

Dee L.

Yelp
Let me tell you about this crazy experience I have here with the Bubble Tea I ordered for my Family. So we came here and ordered on the mobile app. 4 different types of Bubble Tea. I got 2 Oolong Milk Tea and 2 Thai Milk Tea with Bobas. The oolong milk tea came out looking like oolong but tasted like crap. The Thai Milk Tea came out not looking like the usual orange tea that everyone knows the color. I asked the cashier and the kids that work there and they said. Get this, they ran out of color dye or food coloring for the Thai Tea. I said are you kidding me. It does not have food coloring or dye in it. But they insisted that it does. So I said I will never come back and I will Yelp you guys and then they said OK let us exchange it for you. And I said no thanks, so you guys can spit in it. I rather take The L and move on thanks. Wow, Thai Tea have Food Dye or Food Coloring? WTF

Yelp
This place just makes delicious everything! I'm obsessed! I have been here three times in one week! Starting with the boba teas ! Utterly delicious! And the chicken is made to be both crispy AND juicy!!!! It is heaven on a plate! You must try it!

Justin Z.

Yelp
Ordered yogurt green tea with nata jelly, and the employee probably didn't wash the jelly, so it makes the whole drink looks really disgusting.
google avatar

Kim Y.

Yelp
So glad they opened this up right in Quincy! I no longer have to drive into Chinatown for some yummy bubble tea. Great service, great food, cute new spot to hang with my friends!
google avatar

Young P.

Yelp
I like that this place is consistent. No matter which hour/day/month, your drink will taste just as same as your previous order. I think for a franchise of this scale, consistency is critical and this spot definitely has consistency down. Location isn't that bad either. You may have to look for street parking but it shouldn't be too bad. They also sell fried chicken so when you walk in to the store, the smell hits you immediately.
google avatar

Melanie V.

Yelp
Great tea! I always get the oolong milk tea and my wife is lactose intolerant but their milk is okay for her to drink
google avatar

SD L.

Yelp
I'm only reviewing the fried chicken and not the tea/drinks. I ordered a three piece "Spicy/Crunchy" combo and it was over $13. My order was ready in about 25 minutes with the restaurant being half full. My order consists of 3 pieces of chicken, curly fries, a biscuit, and cheese curds. They should change the "Spicy/Crunchy" to "Super Salty/Crunchy" because that's all I tasted. The chicken was so salty I couldn't taste any traces of spicy. The biscuit was great but could not carry the soggy cheese curds and fries. I will NOT be ordering the chicken here again.
google avatar

Vivienne N.

Yelp
Tea is way too sweet. 50% sugar is like 100% sugar. Bubbles are too chewy. I just like their food.
google avatar

Anonymous A.

Yelp
AMAZING bubble tea, my fave place! Great food as well, and mobile ordering ahead is an option too!!
google avatar

Sì Món P.

Yelp
Take order not accurate because they play music to loud to hear what I order. Have to go two round just to get my order and they let me wait 15 minutes more when I already wait for 20' for first time.
google avatar

Robi B.

Yelp
This place is excellent. I'd recommend them to anyone that wanted to drink Tea that tastes good.
google avatar

Maria C.

Yelp
I ordered Kung Fu Tea via yelp as yelp says there's curbside pickup during covid times and that was totally false advertising. Yelp is 80cents to $1.50 more expensive than the kung fu tea app and I ordered 4 drinks. I thought that I was paying a bit extra on yelp for that service but instead I waited outside for 20 mins for nothing and when I called them, their English was so bad. I asked if they had curbside pickup and the guy said yes and that it's been waiting at the table at the entrance for a long time. Do they not know what curbside pickup means? I am not a happy camper. If there is no curbside pickup, please remove the advertisement on yelp. So WARNING to all, there is NO curbside pickup at this location and the people working there does not understand English enough to service the customers over the phone.

Sally C.

Yelp
Delicious drinks, I love the traditional Kung fu milk tea. Taro w red bean is also delicious
google avatar

Sassiness M.

Yelp
Love me some kung fu tea in davis. Cute little spot n friendly customer service. Great tea and very flavorful. $-$$

Le P.

Yelp
1. music is too loud. hard to hear the staff. 2. ordered lychee black tea, but they didn't shake the drink so all the syrup was down at the bottom.
google avatar

Fred C.

Yelp
Loved kft. Always my favorite boba place. Always get the original milk tea. Tasty boba and milk tea

Miranda H.

Yelp
Great and quick service. I love the convenience of being able to order from the app. They have a huge selection of tea to choose from but their classic Kung fu milk tea is too good that I haven't tried much of anything else. My other favorite is the honey green tea with milk foam. I like their milk foam better than at gong cha

Scarlett E.

Yelp
I love the mango slush! The workers are nice at this location!!!!!!! Super clean!!!!!!!!

Amelia K.

Yelp
Love the ambience, great for hanging out with friends. Nice menu with fried chicken & bubble options to choose from.

David T.

Yelp
Obsessed with their boba tea so much if I have anything to say for the place I would say it literally exceeded my expectations and my tastebuds

Kenneth s.

Yelp
Got fired chicken combo over there few days ago it was so bad the chicken was not crispy and salty not spicy at all the drink was ok when I ask the girl in the front for ketchup she was so rude and roll her eyes at me and said it over at the counter service was horrible never go there again but

Simeng C.

Yelp
A must try about cocoa cream wow with milk cap! Milk tea could be so good! Salty milk cap with delightful milk tea and bubble on the bottom, best taste!

Amanda J.

Yelp
Come to this location if you want to treat yourself some good tea drink. Their menu has obviously expanded since the last time I visited. I mean you know if it's good tea with your very first sip. And I was not disappointed. So delicious!

Junwen W.

Yelp
Here I am again. This time I try their Kwa Kwa Bao and it's so weird but interesting. I never have fried sticky rice before. It is much different from the sticky rice that I usually get from Dim Sum. I would recommend the Kwa Kwa Bao and I will try their TKK wings next, and hopefully it will surprise me.
