"Since 1893, this much-loved shop has been making its own tofu that exudes a deep, rich soy aroma. The tofu pudding is a must-try. With murals that depict tofu being made, the room is styled to attract a younger crowd." - Michelin Inspector

I visited a traditional local restaurant in Sham Shui Po that specializes in a variety of tofu dishes and snacks. As I looked around, I noticed that most customers were enjoying deep-fried tofu and tofu pudding, so I decided to follow their lead. *The ordering process is quite simple—there's an order form where you can just check what you want and place your order effortlessly. The dishes were fairly decent. The deep-fried tofu was well-cooked, and I could enjoy a variety of flavors by pairing it with soy sauce, sweet chili, and Chinese chili oil, which made for a fun and flavorful experience. The tofu cream with ginger syrup was also alright. The syrup had a slightly milder ginger taste than expected, but it was still pleasant and refreshing. Since the restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, I will definitely come again to try more of their offerings.

One of the best beancurd shop that we have had during our visited in Hong Kong. We tried their beancurd ice cream with ginger syrup, it goes together very well. Not overly sweet and just enough kick from the ginger. We tried their tofu pudding, it was really smooth and light, and the pink brown powder we have no idea what it is but it's balanced the dish very well. The last item we had was their signature soybean milk. Theres a lightness to it with a little touch of sweetness. We didn't try any of their savory items, but will definitely visit again in the future

The restaurant mainly serves tofu dishes, and they’re quite delicious. The soy milk is a bit sweet, so you might want to ask for less sugar. I tried several dishes and was satisfied. They also have an English menu.

This place takes the simplest ingredient—the soybean—and transforms it into something truly special. From silky bean curd and smooth tofu pudding to rich soy milk, every dish showcases the bean’s versatility and the restaurant’s craft. The food is pleasant, smooth, and comforting—classic Hong Kong flavors done right. A humble spot that beautifully captures the taste of old Hong Kong, elevating tofu into warmth and comfort with every bite.

Came here on a late Saturday morning. Kung Wo was busy but there wasn't a queue. Ordered their hot tofu pudding and a plate of mixed fried tofu/fish cake. The tofu pudding "tau fu fah" was good, but not great. I had smoother, more fragrant ones back in Ipoh, Malaysia. The fried tofu was nice though. Well prepared, crispy on the outside yet still preserving its tofu texture. I am glad to have tried this once, but I won't be back. The shop was cramped, noisy and uncomfortable.

I wasn't planning to visit this shop, but I remember someone was recommending and they weren't crowded, so I take the chance to try. As a big fan of beancurd, I enjoy their beancurd a lot. As I chose the cold and sweet one, I think they pour the sugar syrup on top. If you mixed up and order the one with no syrup, there's some orangy sugar by the table for the beancurd as well. The sugar by the table giving some crisp and texture while munching the beancurd. But I do think that the sweet one is already sweet enough, so I didn't put more sugar on mine. There's a lot more menu to try other than the famous beancurd. They have soya milk selection, fried dish, savoury dish, also some soy desserts, like the soy pudding and ice cream with ginger syrup on top. The ice cream was fine. My friend find it sweet, as I find it's okay, like it's just taste as sweet as usual ice cream does. The savoury dish that we have also taste nice. Im surely will be back to enjoy more beancurd or tasting the other dishes of theirs. Super Nice!

Went here in the morning, got seated. But confused on how to order so I call them, after ordering the food they kept pointing on the table until they pissed which I don‘t understand what it meant so I just ignore it. So while waiting for the food I look around and just realized that they had menu that we had to tick on the order ourself (instead of pointing the fingers on the table why not just pull the paper and show it to me). First of all we had no idea what spices to use because there‘s no instruction, so we experimented ourself. For the porridge now idea what to use so it was quite bland without any of it, after giving several try, still doesn‘t really work at the end. For the tofu is quiete the same as it‘s only less sweet when it arrived. Tried fried tofu, quite nice and warm with some seasonings. Also bought the black soya milk and it was huge (I think sweeter than usual soya) The dim sum was overall better. I like the yellow one, but for the roll it really feels like esting only „flour“ feels with sweet sauce. Have a look around and there were the tofu factory nesrby
